most anti american be added a few decades many people say well why should these students be complaining because i worked my way through college i worked my way through university i worked hard i thrived i achieved the american dream well they look at that as well in one thousand nine hundred ninety eight to be a university of wisconsin madison student you could work your way through the university because it cost two thousand three hundred sixty two dollars that's what you need to earn for your living expenses and the tuition which would have been eight hundred ninety one hours of work that year at the minimum wage which most college students work at minimum wage jobs today the same university at the same you know the minimum wage the current minimum wage it would take two thousand five hundred thirty eight hours at the minimum wage to pay for your university which would be fifty hours per week for fifty weeks i couldn't do it not remember what i
