tv   Larry King Now  RT  August 30, 2013 9:00pm-9:31pm EDT

9:00 pm
on larry king now that w w e is that the twins that i would see the most dangerous place in the debt we could believe that he was locker room this is like a lion like a jungle net or like a lot of women out there you know we're big into our careers and our careers sic a lot of our time but it's hard to balance that on you really get to see that plus does it ever get me i got hit you hard in the face one time and i'll admit in the moment i got up and i kicked the girl straight in the stomach and not to write down a six point i can't do that that's all ahead on larry king now. welcome to larry king now we've got a lot of fun today three of the stars of the hit reality show total beavis airing
9:01 pm
sundays at ten pm on the rise in sea grosses place the wus resident mean girls mickey and bree bella also known as the bella twins novelette is a third generation w w e superstar natalia you'll see all three w e b visit this sunday at the staples center here in los angeles for w w e's summer slam and live on pay per view what nikki is summer slam summer slam all i mean it's the biggest party of the summer or the hottest event of the summer and it's one of deputies biggest paper views right after wrestle mania and it's just a lot of fun and it just makes it better being here in los angeles and i have to say we have a match that i'm looking forward to and they're both to my left and italian brady have a singles match and my boyfriend brees boyfriend are in the main event so there's so much look forward to yes yeah and we. it's
9:02 pm
a sold out show so then do you still do the thing monday night we do we have monday night raw in anaheim we don't stop we go on here and i go away i have every month another lot of those leading up to the summer slam right where do i watch saturday what to do or what we have let her talk i you know i have decided all we want is i'm by the always good to you and your brown we do have fan access because you know what some are saying is our second largest pay per view you know wrestling is our first one so we kind of create a mini wrestle mania for you here in los angeles so it's really you become a fan access which is at a later life and you get to see the superstars and divas and signings there's small matches going on there's like q. and a's so it's really fun you need to come out where you would be i want to bring my boys were it good i think he should be the referee of the tag match we had this referee we do it you should do it i'll do better the loser will get slammed and we don't make promises but i'm not so sure you can slam them how little of my two boys do
9:03 pm
a day you're there at almost the police than me all over the phone that what what what why are how you explain the fans of wrestling while they're going to sell out at the staples are going to sell out and then they'll be a mob but the slam on saturday who are these people the fans of the day are probably the most loyal passionate people you'll ever meet and they'll let you know when they like you to let you know when they hate you and one of the greatest feelings for us as performers is the be able to entertain them to put smiles on their faces and to just you know let them into our lives you know and so that summer slam we get to do that is that both of us because we're going one on one you're going to fight each other we are resolution yes do you feel first as entertainers then is that leads how you view yourself you know i guess as sports entertainers because definitely if we weren't the athletes we could entertain and there you to be reached. the warm air of the bows ray yeah definitely so and you
9:04 pm
know to be a top to be star if you don't know how to entertain and you could be a good athlete well you know i can be deputy superstar so you need both what what do you define what is a deep well it's money goes i get asked that question often and sometimes you know i think the best way to describe it is a woman that could do everything and there's really nothing that we can't do is that is has a bad connotation in show business because someone to be but it must be this and that was be there and watch this you was switched service that's about what wins. but you know a deal who mean even that it is really about being a strong powerful woman that is that we can really do anything in and it's not just about head locks and drop kicks it's also about a lot of charity work that we do we have a lot of different campaigns like you know our partnership with susan g. komen and we just partner with us to a lympics and we do a lot of campaigns and stuff like that so we're we do it all twins you love to go
9:05 pm
with twins easily i don't think you're right i mean you know that when mean today i loved it over the w. we. did for eleven months it was felt like eternity and i know what you know i think you do as sometimes you don't rise about them to be superstars divas as we are on the road from two hundred fifty to three hundred days a year you know we go year round we travel all around the world are big in like one hundred forty six countries so for nikki and i five years came up and we just felt like let's just walk away for a little bit kind of just take a deep breath enjoy a little vacation enjoy your family then get leg in the ring we were in san diego california as we really did as we are half italian so it and i just said yes and i think more importantly we just kind of just relax at home like being able to sleep in your bed for two weeks three that for you who miss it all every day every day and it was hard to watch every week as you just did everything going on backstage are just yes well i didn't watch all the time because it makes me miss it too much . you know i would get like really sad because i'd be to be we're big family so i
9:06 pm
just really started missing everything and. you know what's funny is that there is a sisterhood in our locker room and so you know we laugh together we cry together and we were around each other more than we are on families so i miss them a lot and i started with the twins. so yeah we do have our moments where i want to body slam both of us yes but at the end of the day we are sisters and i did miss you guys a lot we talked so much when we were gone for eleven months i got out and i had our conversations i feel like once a week or every two weeks those are therapy session is there. more about the show that's over the show you do the reality show in the midst of the segment but when you receive the job and we know it's a detainment and we know your sister's as you say does it ever get me. i'm really me you know i think i think like anything you know when you're being aggressive or
9:07 pm
you're competitive you know there's always that little streak in you that can get mean you get ahead a little too hard you're going to retaliate and i think we are professionals and we're trained so we have that respect for each other in the ring but hey it's like anything you know i want to go in there and i want to put on a good show and if it means that i have to be really strong or know with a different attitude then i'm going to do that but i know we know he means backstage well are you going on a team in you're in the ring you're in the ring you practice some of the moves or you know we're trying not to kill each other but all the time i want to kill. i got hit hard in the face one time and got my tooth knocked out and in the moment i got up and i kicked the girl straight in the stomach and not to write down and then i was like oh no i can't do that but in that moment it was just like ok not cool larry all have that in the sense that us girls are more we're more emotional so everything is very personal in the way. and that's when it gets real i think it is
9:08 pm
total divas what is the show tell me about oh wow where do we begin to come together yes well so total divas is beast on the life so it's basically a sneak peek into the world of debbie to be through you yes there's seven total so there's three as long as another tag team the funky dr olds and two new girls even marie and jo jo so it's cool because you go to see do you visit making and then you see divas that have been there and their lives inside the ring and outside the ring . oh yeah everywhere but everywhere boyfriends of our family member to see to how we balance our careers and our relationships because we're like a lot of women out there you know we're big into our careers and our careers a lot of our time the same time are women we go through all the issues all women go through we're emotional in the sense we always want to be with our boyfriends but it's hard to balance that on you really get to see that and. they just renewed it right yeah we have six more episodes so we're. letting the world into
9:09 pm
personal lives well i'm a little hesitant you know for me i've always been a very private person and i've grown up in a family of superstars and i have you know even though my family was always kind of in the spotlight i had always kept everything very private i never spoke about my relationship with you know my husband d.j. wilson i never talked about any of that with anyone and then when i was approached about doing this show it was kind of like ok all bets are off i have to basically open up my life and all my vulnerabilities and i had to be a human you know because people see us on t.v. and we're kind of larger than life was and on total divas you just see us as wrong as real as we really are you forget began was there oh my gosh you definitely do the first three days it's like you kind of like feel embarrassed and you're like anywhere you go because evans looking in the cameras there and after those three days like we filmed weeks tree completely forget like that they're there and so they catch these moments. that are so real that you would never cry in front of
9:10 pm
these people and now the world sees it oh you're old you're old rule you're married to a wrestler right yes who is dyson kid yes i've actually known tyson since i was ten years old yeah i've known him since i was a he maybe in two he's canadian he was a we were childhood friends and i hated them up until i was about fifteen and he was a little brat and a man when i was eighteen i was like i got like this guy and trained me how to wrestle and he really he's very inspiring in many ways but he has been through all the ups and downs of me and he can put up with my family heart manly and if you can do that you're a keeper or you have children so you know we have two very spoiled cats and you know what they're they're almost as spoiled as breeze dog josie breeze usual boyfriend superstar daniel bryan and though you've been dating you know brian and i have been together about two and a half years and that feature on this road to you know you see a relationship you have and i think the cool thing for
9:11 pm
a fan base is that they are seeing how serious brian i are because we were so quiet about it for so long that i don't think people realize how long we've been together and they're kind of walking through with us going into our next stage of our relationship so he took me ring shopping and so i'm hoping that the proposal comes soon but who knows with boys playing top i object it in munson you might expect in years so we'll see what you read about you would join seaman yes one of most famous wrestlers in the world was like it's awesome i mean he is such an amazing man we just celebrated our one year anniversary and it's honestly been the best year my life like he makes me very happy and he's just a very humble person so he's this big superstar but it doesn't even feel like do we see matches on the reality show yes you do you actually they show quite a bit of our action in the ring it's funny because a lot of the action in the ring is inspired by like i would say the most dangerous place in the debate of you he's the locker room yes. it's like a lion like
9:12 pm
a jungle in the series all their flights all their arguments so their disagreement is enormous and all but i think mickey and i are the best example of it we're sisters we love each other but we fight a lot so we there's a difference between fighting we big or a lot so of course you're going to bicker with other girls that you don't necessarily love to death you know it's just normal but you know you laugh it off or you know you're just like ok we'll make up for this or us to take things out. well these two i've learned one thing about these two is bickering is that they'll vent to me about each other but i never ever agree with either one of them because five minutes later larry they're going to be friends again so. was the show's. biz or perceived i definitely think so and i i think people actually now really see that. we are characters like nikki and i are bad girls on t.v. but you actually see on total divas how nice we are and i think that's really
9:13 pm
refreshing for the devil to be universe because you're like they aren't these mean girls they actually are really gross who care and have big hearts and i think that's so important in the world today that all kids do see that to be where characters these are storylines these people in real life are good people and i think that's what told he was really whole women perceived in the wrestling world well it's actually very empowering to be a part of the right now because you know there's nothing that we can't do and like i said you do see us you know in these intense matches and we do get a little emotional as divas but i am proud to say that i am an ambassador of in so many ways we do stuff you know with susan g. komen and make a wish and we have been a star campaigns which raise awareness about anti bullying and actually this past february i had the opportunity to go to rwanda with the united nations foundation and i met with over thirty thousand refugees in two different refugee camps and i never ever would have had that opportunity if i didn't work in. so it's those kind
9:14 pm
of things that change your life and you never get that chance unless you're here and in the next segment we'll find out how these ladies became w w e b biz when we come back. wealthy british style sun. times tirelessly. markets why not. come to find out what's really happening to the global economy with mike's concert for a no holds barred look at the global financial headlines tune into kinds a report. it was a. very hard to take a. look again there was

9:16 pm
summer slam is sunday night here at staples center watch it but if you can't get in is this old on the other than son so they will be there for that let's find out about how these people got into this you came that you're from a wrestling family right and your father my family has been involved with. this business for decades my dad is a was a former deputy superstar as well uncles my grandfather they've all been involved for years so you grow up having to be in that or do you want to be as i i grew up surrounded by it i can't remember a day in my life that we haven't been surrounded by in some way shape or form our sandbox was a wrestling ring in my grandfather's yard we would play and his yard and put on wrestling shows as kids so it's just been such
9:17 pm
a huge part of my life and. i couldn't really see my life you know without you know you the only female of the hard family was going to was yes well there were other females who thought about it and didn't you know. i was i mean i'm a trailblazer in the hart family because my uncles you know brett owen and my father. my other uncle davey they were all involved in it was very much male dominated but no other females have stepped foot in the squared circle besides me in the heart family so it was definitely something in my grandfather was you know he's now passed but my grandfather's still heart he was very traditional and he really just you know was very protective of us girls because he was an amateur wrestler and actually amateur wrestling champion and he just didn't see women involved in it because he was very traditional but it's changed so much in our roles that now are so different and so i think if you were here today he'd be so proud he would probably be teaching you how to throw
9:18 pm
a punch. did you get into it do you both decide together they did what actually bree called me once like you have to check out this divas division and bring in our competitive soccer players for eleven years so we were athletes and we always love the entertainment business and she was like nicole this is honest they are calling and we tuned in and i was like this is amazing so we packed up the car and drove to tampa and the minute we got in the ring it was like love at first so you try all you try yeah we did we went to diva search and even search was even a diva search and it was a program where you would be standing in line and you just have this edition you had no idea what they were going to ask you and if they like do they say hey we have this development program in tampa florida we'd like you to come and that was they had an edge cause you pretty twins right yeah and they're going to be allured yeah and we were the only twins and we did make history we were the first twenty girls to ever debut on television so that was cool but yeah i guess being twins there was a little bit of an edge there but you know there's so many girls that they do pick
9:19 pm
and down in developmental you're just trying so hard to get noticed and it was nice to have song that looked exactly like being but you know you do a spring look you know you look different. is done the really you know dress the same brain. i i had my light in my hair tidy because my hair naturally gets lighter the summer and we actually got argument this morning because i told her she didn't do her hair lighter and she only. that russell. i believe we have about what twelve on the roster now and yet we have we have almost a dozen wounded women come into wrestling what year i mean when i was a kid watch resident over a little ball not so much i wouldn't you know it's we know we have we still have made young who's one of our oldest active female competitors and i think made her ninety this year and. well she she punched the great khali a couple months ago but does that but on one thing he gets them but same thing fights in a will is there you heard it but
9:20 pm
a long time i mean it's funny how it's very symbolic of how to be changes and grows and the women are no different you know you had just a handful back then and now it's growing takes so much my wife was on w w e let she is she threw water they interviewed and she threw water and she's told that to she be a diva yet of course there's no way all the men on being a diva you know because i'm thinking i'm going to enroll well i would guess you could because now the tactics are they could be like the blonde larry king over i've got an egg on her restaurant with that she's interested. and she will probably like stopping. he should like getting. made up but yeah then she fit in perfectly with us the. men direct these i do i you know i love smart mean them up to about the business because you come in this world and it's completely different so i love giving them advice and tell you the best training us i mean now he taught us how to wrestle and she was one of the best teachers along with you
9:21 pm
know a few others but female wise now he was one of our favorite i think it's really all about respect you too sometimes the cars come out when your girls come i'm just going to call you both out on the what do you look at the thing initiation major good debo you know i have to say you have to be determined because. you know you can you know you need to have something that attracts the audience and where they connect to it so you could be extremely ugly in the lobby of their religion well there are no other evil member of those other in russia. who are evil but i would hope that they're all i'm seeing and this is going back on your last question i think for men and women to be able to make it in. i think that you have to have heart more than anything yes and it i think that you know you. got to have heart and really leave as. being beautiful want to get you so far there's people in every city state towns and very consummate to be an athlete you have to have a passion in heart and be able to stick it out and go through the high highs in the
9:22 pm
lower levels or even badly hurt yeah yeah yeah. we have some social media questions time of teddy via twitter how hard is it to have a personal life when you're constantly working it's definitely very hard to have a personal life because we're always on the road but i'm very fortunate that my boyfriend's always on the road with me and my sister so i somewhat get a personal life but not that much nathan as one who i think must be one of the osmonds rose on facebook what's the worst injury you've ever experienced in the ring i actually blew my knee out i had. when i was wrestling in japan and i was so stubborn that i ended up wrestling twelve matches on a torn a.c.l. and it was pretty is pretty traumatic it was your worst i wouldn't say breaking my nose was the worst one so mr street thinks pretty good things yeah well there's a little bit of a curve i wish it looked a little better but you know. i've had recently broken nose and a stress fracture my right to be
9:23 pm
a that i'm still trying to heal or i'd like to see your right to be really with the sound of time erotic to god in a tomb makes it even better overall he knew to be. a mother not a good olympic no for the whales seven from twitter what's the most romantic thing your current boyfriend or husband done for you oh my gosh when i began dancing with me under the stars after a nice romantic dinner after wrestling people in that wonderful bit mind would have to be after i've been a really hard day came back to the hotel room and had all these candles and he went to whole foods and go like oh my favorite snacks so and he had some good a good music mix on which you prove it's not black licorice you're in a favor. because it was the most romantic thing well the most romantic thing i think that he's ever done for me was. we were actually this is we feel this is one totally but actually very private teachings actually very shy and in front of all
9:24 pm
my friends and family he made a toast about how i basically changed his life and it was very hard for him to kind of come out and open himself up like that and it kind of brought me to tears i don't know siblings as bree what you're type two of. which one but the one on my lower stomach which i'm guessing because i everyone always asked it's bare claws. that's on your lower stomach my lower stomach about late no no one. would like to play a game of you if you only knew discrete questions is the first boy you ever kissed i see his name you know brenda mater brenda made i will you six grade six screwball parking lot what about having them i mean no i think i had the kiss of death for his boy his name was anything greedo name. yeah. you know that will was it in lake tahoe will you i was going in seventh grade it was on the beach well what about have m m i don't know i know he's nor cow i'm sure he's married now
9:25 pm
so yeah well that's an easy one it would be t.j. wilson aka take some kid and i i bought his members with yes and i body slammed them and kissed them same time so. well does we're very loyal to each other but yeah i've never found anybody better than him larry if i had it's you know his life he's my first love my only the biggest misconception this misconception about being a beaver. i think that people think we're five hundred pounds and eight feet tall but every time they see me they're just like whoa you're small work. world travelers going to see the world they would match my favorite match that i've had was my match at. that's what it was called the t.l.c. match it was a table's match was the first ever divas tables match and i put two girls at the same time through a table and it was kind of a revolutionary moment for me as you attend the funeral.
9:26 pm
with your favorite movie bella buster our finisher i love it bella bus like to drive. i have to say what we started with the flying snap mare flying man in my movie is the sharpshooter and it's this admission technique it's passed on to me from my uncle bret hart submission to yes what do you do and what it is is it's really just. a maneuver that makes girls tap and yeah trust me it puts pressure. like that and i mean i'm a certain way to be basically rather legs together and you turn them over onto their back so their legs are taking hold up there's pressure on their lower back and it's intense ok. superstore john seen brian excuse me take some kid on the most embarrassing moment. i think after a match i would say to the fans and i jumped down and others ice and fell right up with that and the whole crowd sort of i was on the apron cheering for nicky and i
9:27 pm
jumped in the air and i missed the apron and i thought all the way down and it ripped all the way up my tights and so and i to get back up and finish them out and i was so embarrassed when i was coming out for one of my entrances i almost fell off the stage walking down the ramp and basically had to pretend that the trip was part of my. favorite story line of there are stories to each to write the feeling i would have to say my favorites the way they had. about twenty debut i debuted first and everyone always thought it was just one girl and nicky and i would always switch underneath the ring and actually to tell you was there to discover the twins and i was under the ring and she grabbed me and was like also didn't look like this really long person that was like what and then it was like two girls came popping out underneath the ring so. thank you all time great you know you're going to be there and said they would my boy i had it thanks to my beautiful yes nicky and bree and tell you you can see them on total divas sundays at ten on e and you don't want
9:28 pm
