6:35 pm
when the water temperature gets up to fifty degrees east are both going to run again. the ramp and you're all in the chesapeake bay probably one of the best areas in the country fell for it. or is dark red you stink you cooked a hard fresh been pick your meat out of it and the soft bread you need to hold all fresh falls and all. of our main deaths are made on the summer road to make much money off it good winter. it's very difficult for women on the job because most jobs is on the water and the gal is you know young bowie's or me and you know they crap on they craves great. says
6:36 pm
restaurants you can find a job a waitress and babysit for monsoon work. maybe storekeeper you know at the grocery store or at the ice cream places. some balance to work at the museum but basically that's all the work related on the air. some people like to the place themselves but this is normal competitive that you have and they get on with your parents you also fair with a room and. living by yourself can sometimes not be good it's become and i say we don't want that to have a good time we want to have a good experience your first apartment this is very real you made it live there that's a whole lot of little solar. our island has limited occupations on it so
6:37 pm
therefore a lot of these children have interests with things that are not available on the island and therefore when they go off and get their college or training they will have to go to other areas to get in. a few of them may end up back on the island because of having a health center here or school here but other than that they are not going to be finding a job on the island they may come back and retire but they're not going to be working here when they're right out of college or trade. said to say oh yeah i'm fine and i can. see let's hear you and see things in your life. and see.

. wholeness. that's a pretty one. but it's sharp or always just that's a kind of went down between two pieces of wood and then they they wrote it tight. and used it for spears. and for bone marrow. but when there's a lot of history and the arrowheads. we're not sure when we were settled but we were discovered sixteen away and we had our four hundred anniversary in two thousand and eight and that was a big day on the island so that was really special but indians were here thousands of years before we all were.
6:41 pm
i don't find places like that very often. they just don't exist anymore you don't have these pristine beaches where you can just go in. and watch and learn from from what you see. it would be a real shame for this island to disappear there's a way of life here that's unique to. this country the the crabbers the oystermen and so forth it's very hard life and yet we get to enjoy the fruits of their labor but it's also special to me because there aren't very many places left where you can see the diversity of wildlife where the wildlife has
6:42 pm
a place to stop birds come through here from south america heading up the bay heading towards their nesting grounds and a lot of them stop over here it's important for the survival of various species and we're losing more and more of this type of habitat part of it is sea level rise part of it is just a natural changes to it storms and so forth that just happens. but it would be a shame to see this totally wiped out. every time there's a hurricane at this place is always a risk it slides they try to evacuate people lots of times people won't go because they want to stay with their houses but the bottom line is that creates problems coastguard and whatever has to worry about the island of the people that are living here and they would rather them leave the island is shrinking every year it costs
6:43 pm
the government money they've got to worry about the people being here so they feel that really the people should leave and little the mainland. wealthy british style some time to. market why not. find out what's really happening to the global economy with mike's conjure for a no holds barred look good but lobel financial headlines tune in to the report on our. fact that. they didn't know that you know the price is the only industry specifically mentioned in the constitution and. that's because a free and open process is critical to our democracy correct albus. role. in

fact the single biggest threat facing our nation today is the corporate takeover of our government and across several we've been hijacked lying handful of transnational corporations that will profit by destroying what our founding fathers once told us my job market and on this show we reveal the big picture of what's actually going on in the world we go beyond identifying the problem trying to fix rational debate and a real discussion critical issues facing america to find a job ready to join the movement then walk a little bit her. lip under will strong arm an ally should be making news all the face i think sometimes you know.
6:45 pm

6:48 pm

feel consumption a quart of fuel on board not good. when you've been here about the policeman every day make a pretty good. chance crab and see if they had a few other houses they usually keep some of the subs you know to get some. folks on. we look out for each other we get competitive some calls with the kids that somebody is in trouble or deal with always pull together and come together and help. everybody. sort of like off like a big family. thank you ok. we will yet be able to have. james and screech is the mayor is changing a. bit even though he's his name is james eskridge he is known even in the
6:50 pm
newspapers as. when james was a very small boy apparently they had a rooster and he could say verster but he could say. and that's where that nickname came in has stuck with him his entire life even the newspapers call him for eskridge one of the benefits here live and don't have to fight crime if you get oh oh. well everything is of learn here how to warm on the water and i believe this will help me in law a little on the time being i'll be working on the worst day oh. i was lloyd. just not enough money in it and i figure time close next best thing is to win the war. the government's trying you don't want to because the government saying we are kilo of crime it's not really stood still rock
6:51 pm
this population gets to put the wrong women on it now the third most don't the populated fish around and they kill or cry if it's not a we just be to blame for it. probably stay here a rest malloy because i love it here it's noisy she know everybody is a nice place to live. you. know you're so sweet. i love your. show you. i. f i f f f.
6:52 pm
f you. can. serious cause for concern where young people link the island because we're aware of it. what's going to happen to the population so it's come on the side because we know that if we don't have people staying here in the way of light is to somehow disappoint you and.
6:53 pm
so you believe we have a part of it that is more protected so what have you done to make sure that our her it is protected in the future or what have you done to ensure that we will get us to the wall right each of you have written letters that's right you've written to our president you've written to our governor you've written to our state and local and national officials as well and that of course is one of the greatest forms of patriotism not only is patriotism love for your nation or love for your state but patriotism is also for your small island tangier. the seawall that we're
6:54 pm
looking to get in the future in the next few years is going to be just across from this one this is the west entrance and your arbor and but it's such a great set such a wall and open and you're alone we get storms in wind from the west from north west swells or ways roll right into the harbor so we're actually trying to. make it a smaller opening here so it'll protect. right and using boats and dollars as you're coming in to the harbor here you can see over to your way off. off all the six that are crap shanties that stores have destroyed because there's no protection here. there's just a family graveyard. and this is. my mom and dad over here are just my brother in law are all. playing crocket a friend plus. addresses boat and made a murray. they always want
6:55 pm
a crab. but. some opposition who want to be buried here she said yeah. i was from a and i told her she better bara me and. not to say if i manage say i told her i'm a question tired and i want a horror every other night. so we're worth a place that used to be used to be up for the small community was actually it was another community called a cheese i hear in this direction which it's completely out in the water now. purges over here and yes now for more of the small mobile home is there was lots of trees out here and several homes on a small schoolhouse and. it was a thraldom community it went on. right here are some of the stones from the graves
6:56 pm
it were here and one of the graveyards you can sit in here. this is a true it's. one of the scenes from playing here. and there were numerous graves here and there was also another brick. yards farther out which went into the water a couple years ago. when they were burying these folks they were well inland and on very all the ground and now there are god into war. that's that's what we don't want to happen to change your all and we want to get some protection to make sure that we don't go into the chesapeake bay like uppers did in other communities.
