most of the computers in the world are already leaky by default when they come out of the box then of course the n.s.a. doesn't intervene to really have to hack them and use the kind of advanced technologies that jake showed last last month so that's really for extreme cases where people use high secure systems most of the systems when you take them out of books already leaky thanks to companies like microsoft i would suspect actually that by going to work with the u.s. government in that way a company like microsoft would get very lenient attitude towards them when they are say you know a convicted modernist so was once convicted well multiple convicted multiple police both infected predatory monopolist that exactly but they keep getting away with it and you have to wonder why and through snowden we may have stumbled on the reason is this about safety or about corporations just trying to get information for a competitive advantage or for marketing purposes i haven't seen any evidence that this is helped make anything or anyone safer and if in speaking to

a lot of intelligence whistleblowers so these are former spooks basically and they all say this is not how you you know catch terrorists or against evil people but it works really well for industrial espionage and good works really well for infiltrating activist groups you know whether it's an i'm going on mental activist or human rights activists those so it's really good for democratic repression basically of. those kinds of groups i have a question the kind of i've heard anecdotally from different sources maybe can shed some light on this that the payoffs to these corporations from the government to make it less obvious that they're just paying them off to hide the accounting of the payoffs they're engaged to some degree in click fraud so in other words if the n.s.a. is got a backdoor into yahoo or these other companies. they are generating billions of click fraud which of course generate ad revenue for yahoo and then their companies

based on a multiple of that revenue and profit based on ad revenue but is it is it true what my sources are telling me that up that there's a significant portion of revenues generated by government click fraud i i haven't seen that document but that would be a wonderful way for the u.s. government to award companies that are willing to help them i mean there are obviously all kinds of other ways such as not convicting them as a monopolist or not give them to super duper i rest on its own or most away start companies could be renumerated just could be one of them yeah google says they were unaware that the n.s.a. had broken into their systems to believe them. it's possible that there are people within google who don't know. is it possible that google's stock price as a multiple of revenue. is in fact the product of this quid pro quo between the government exchanging click fraud for information it certainly helps the us government that a us company is so dominant in this field so do u.s. government by making my maybe hoping google to become dominance create

a situation where they control the company does most dominant in that field so in addition have an interest. ok so it's a symbiotic relationship in other words without the surveillance that you've said and many others have made no one say for the revenues for of these companies would be cut in half potentially or more and the stock prices would crash but of course they are of interest and of course in congress it's legal for senators and congressmen to own shares in these companies so they're making money from the bastardization of the democratic process in america through click fraud through surveillance and through propaganda let's talk about yahoo c.e.o. . she said that for her not to cooperate with the n.s.a. was true is this your thoughts. well i had my lander in legal difficulties so you know and some legal term under the patriot acts he may be technically correct although of course you could have done a lot of other things over the last year such as speaking up about it and maybe

taking a pay cut or something but apparently she sold another choice would have been would have been better ok you're dutch ok. so you're not american in america they have the constitution the declaration of independence you know and it looking at those documents one would think that a statement like this from yahoo's c.e.o. would indicate just the opposite that to cooperate with an entity that is compromising the democratic principles of the population that would be treasonous she has committed treason overtly and now your judgment on america but from your observation that i point this out that you're not american but from the outside observing it would you argue with my my my interpretation or no sure so if you say you doubt the constitution and the spirit of the constitution is the highest law of the learned then clearly it's treasonous act but if you say look i know from a practical standpoint as a c.e.o. of a company and if i don't play ball with the n.s.a. they're going to do all these terrible things to me and to my company under the

patriot act and so i'm just going to you know go along to get along. i think i could i could understand how people would do it i mean i don't approve i think it's a really bad choice and i think you know later when you look back on it i think many of the c.e.o.'s what we would read it that they they they were part of the problem and sort of being part of the solution but but i would think i've seen that she owes who don't cooperate will be pressured maybe into bankruptcy by the very same government. sure but in the old days we would call those people traitors and then they would be executed yeah but now we have a kind of foreign to any more americans become a fat lazy going to jump in no good dick all right let's move on. tell us about turmoil in turbine and why anyone with dignity and self-respect would want to hide i guess is part of the question but tell us about turmoil in turbine so i don't even know all the details of those of those programs but these are. systems that are analyzing in real time stuff that people do on the internet. whether it's

social media or maybe even systems outside the u.s. so it's very multi-layered system of analyzing everybody's moved online all the time ok so we heard about last year a prism yes and then we heard about this is another one of the i don't know so they have they have well we now know of dozens and we've only seen a fraction of the snowden documents so it's much more to come what's going on in the netherlands ok netherlands is remarkably little in fact i think there's been no one letter from the government to do parliaments that basically says we have taken note of this situation we are following the matter with interest and if there's anything else would be informed so there is there is right now there is no policy position off the dutch government on the fact that all its citizens are being monitored all the time which is quite worrying and while it's worrying and it seems a bit unusual in that the netherlands has a reputation for being progressive and for civil rights and you know you could say

yeah so here is a clear violation of those rights so very clear what is it not only recently in last few years you know the politics has gone right in the netherlands is this part of that move and is there a movement do you are aware of a movement in the netherlands right now that can effectively push back against what appears to be a supine government is being rolled over by american intelligence agencies i think the political pressure out of the us on the dutch government is. very forceful and very effective apparently because yesterday do completely roll over and our media system essentially is part of the problem and acquiescence into not having to debates amsterdam is the we're being headquarters for corporations like. google and old the whole the microsoft of microsoft oh yeah no doubt if they're all so they all run bear accounting for through amsterdam and then run the accounting fraud through amsterdam you know through the intellectual property accounting fraud whether it's bondo over there you two are the other intellects there are about
