8:00 pm
free trade it sounds good doesn't it this is america we're all about freedom we'd sign up to have chris christie sit on our faces if it was just called a liberty lap dance right so we're predisposed to like free trade freeze it sounds good it sounds like it involves a world with sunshine and lollipops in kids a world with poor beer it cost a quarter and star wars never add its course track to the law and that bug was a factor with stars but in fact it's called free trade because it once is passed american workers will be free of jobs and corporations will be free of regulations and wall street will be free of restrictions there are currently three that's right three massive secretive trade deals being negotiated behind our backs the
8:01 pm
trans-pacific partnership the transatlantic trade and investment partnership and the trade in services agreement which taken together are the most boring sixteen words i've ever heard in my life dear god just saying that sense i want to punch myself in the face while yelling life is short we're not there long. boring evil is the worst because people cannot pay attention long enough to get annoyed with and this is the same premise that kept al i met your mother on the air all those years . to prepare. p. and t. i i say you are the most boring most evil things in the world right now there is so boring they come home with that guy's boring face next to them all right we've been mad that that's part of the font and without and without even getting into the details all you need to know is that these deals are being decided by the leaders of numerous countries including president obama and hundreds of corporate lobbyists and lawyers but they're being kept in. credibly secret from us the unwashed masses
8:02 pm
right generally things that are really good for the people are not kept secret no one ever approaches you in a dark alley and keep this on the down low but the government has given us free frozen yogurt. the. good things are not kept secret all right awful multinational corporate power grabs are kept secret and that's what this is most of what we know about these trade deals that give our national sovereignty away comes from wiki leaks not from newspapers or press releases public services international says that t.i.'s say threatens to allow multinational corporations to permanently privatized vital public services such as health care transportation and water in countries across the globe but luckily there is one man standing up against the sickening rotting animal carcasses of trade deals one man has the gonads to say no watch this clip from two thousand seven hundred trade agreements should not just be
8:03 pm
good for the street it should also be good for main street and the problem that we've had is that we've allowed this oftentimes involved in the go shooting these trade agreements but they fell silent has been a. working people have not been involved and we've got to make sure our agreements are good for everybody i don't know who the young whimper snapper is. i bet if you put them in a room with president obama and give him a piece of his mind. and that young guy there would tell the president that these trade deals even allow corporations to sue if they don't like a country's environmental laws and the lawsuits will be decided by an international tribunal stacked with corporate judges so for the average people winning that lawsuit to protect their own land would be like a salmon winning a trial in a courtroom a bears all right all we need to do is find a way to get that guy in the video elected to some kind of office where he can stop president obama and congress from passing these horrible dob secret trade deals
8:04 pm
with all of this right the last remaining shred of our democracy seen here stuck to harry reid shoe. and. and if we failed to stop them the world we'd end up in would make the liberty lap dance look like a vacation. coming to you from washington d.c. to bury the bases redacted to. welcome her back to the night out is everybody. already an audience of one angle would you like to take the news dare i say from the behind. first up third extensive study came out this week showing a connection between pesticides and autism this new study from u.c. davis shows that women who live near farms with pesticides while they're pregnant are sixty percent more likely to have
8:05 pm
a child on the autism spectrum these are children and they're ending up developmentally delayed or worse by the chemicals we're spraying all over the place like dirt diggler on cinco de blasio these kids are innocent victims let's move pregnant women away from farms and move people who are already developmentally delayed to the farms like corporate lobbyists rights and that way the children will have a chance to grow up away from better sides and perhaps more importantly away from corporate lobbyists and people say i don't give any solutions of the problems i talk about problem solved dr phil k. street with past asides are they not passed out twenty three corporate lobbyist for every member of congress and that's not an infestation of offensive proportions and i don't know what is. now out of the supreme court which has been busy this week handing down rulings on everything from mobile phone privacy to eliminating a buffer zone for protesters around abortion clinics but no one cares about that
8:06 pm
crap too boring what we all care about is television yes i like to learn about t.v. while one. doing t.v. while gently putting a separate t.v. . he's all we don't have much time left. but guess what the supreme court had a decision that may impact the way we all watch t.v. for more on this we go to televised reporter sam sachs who is on the redacted front front lines. this week the supreme court gave a victory to the t.v. watching the status quo ruling that a new internet streaming service is breaking the law the case the american broadcasting companies vers aereo a new york based technology upstart that gives subscribers access to networks content on their t.v.'s in mobile devices what aereo has done is disrupt a clever business model set up by the far more well endowed network broadcasters
8:07 pm
with their fellow corporate behemoths in the cable provider industry as newton's fourth law of thermodynamics in corporate greed states companies with monopolistic games tend to gravitate toward other companies with monopolistic games you see long ago the government gave network broadcasters monopolistic use of much needed spectrum on the public airwaves the networks took the deal and sent out their t.v. signals for free mainly it was just video of bob ross painting just happens with bush's live right on the page but all you needed were rabbit ears to pick up the signal the networks paid the bills by being in endless stream of advertisements as you heard free as well act now and will send you this cat with a rumor for free warning roommate eat your cat. but then as capitalism would dictate t.v. viewers were asked why watch something for free when you can just pay for it. and so people companies jumped into the fray promising more options and more reliable access to the free t.v.
8:08 pm
signals you just had to pay them a steadily increasing monthly fee from here on out there to do this the cable companies had to settle up with the network broadcasters by giving them a hefty cut of the profits made from t.v. viewers now paying to watch content that was completely free to watch as now most of us don't even realize that the major t.v. networks are still broadcast for free over the air in the air there's free t.v. in the air which is a just bob ross checklist get crazy everyone there's free t.v. in there and there's free t.v. you just have to reach up and grab it reach up and grab the free t.v. . three d. the other or. wait is it is a poison is to prevent tb oh they're going to fill it in coming in my. area i knew it was free so the company did is assemble thousands of antennas to pick up the network broadcasts over the air they've been rented use of those nintendo's to customers who then could use area of software to program the intent
8:09 pm
is to record the shows of their choice unlike the cable companies no where in the process is the area you are giving huge amounts of money to the network providers in order to gain access to the t.v. signals that are already broadcast for free that's why your typical monthly bill to the cable company is one hundred dollars by your typical monthly bill the area was just twelve dollars. but now the jig is up the majority on the court said technological differences do not distinguish aereo system from cable systems and the stereo is subject to the copyright act according to law under the copyright act only the owner of a specific creation in this case a t.v. show or another case it. has the right to rebroadcast that show or to the public. that's why the cable companies have had to pay fees to the networks to rebroadcast their content to subscribers and that's also why i'm still trying to collect these from my ex-girlfriends and a couple hollywood producers the defenders of air you argue this ultimately is
8:10 pm
a battle between old technology and new technology and of all people it was justice antonin scalia who took that argument to heart reading in the dissent we came within one vote of declaring the v.c.r. contraband thirty years ago driven in part by the plaintiffs prediction that v.c.r. technology would wreak all manner of havoc in the television and movie industries the networks made similar dire predictions about area oh does anybody know what if the c.r. is ok they don't know either ultimately the internet is changing the way people watch t.v. and technology has weakened the stranglehold giant corporations have in the t.v. industry giving consumers more options at lower costs which has the potential to break up the broadcasting and cable cartels but the roberts court has never really been interested in shaking up the existing power structures well the case i'll just stay on hold one representative will be with me shortly to help me address the
8:11 pm
problems i'm having watching content that i pay one hundred bucks a month to watch me with that i can also watch for free or technically but don't worry because that would be socialism in. washington d.c. same stuff just huge production to put this in its sand sacks every neuron. for we go to break we actually tracked down a commercial you need to see as you know mcdonald's has come under fire for a lot of things in the past few years we found the outtakes of a very special mcdonald's advertisement. oh well first thing i just want to say i'm so excited for this opportunity of love mcdonald's my entire life i remember when i was a kid my parents and that's great we're just doing this for legal reasons let's just get this over with. me it's mcdonald's chicken make maggots all white meat boneless factory farmed chicken treated with vaccines and hormones not just read the ingredients don't tell me about the factory farm stuff. yummy it's mcdonald's
8:12 pm
chicken egg nog is chicken in water and salt rich flour yellow corn flour bleach we've flour baking soda corn starch we'd start modified food storage dextrose riboflavin folic acid spices and i mean my nitrate which can lead to severe liver damage hot. chick acid reduced iron calcium lactate sodium phosphate sodium acid pyro phosphate sodium aluminum phosphate mine no calcium phosphate all of which are linked to chronic kidney disease weak bones and premature death on it was you can just make it out object them all the lies east extract which is basically m.s.g. natural flavoring which can mean anything saff flour all oil vegetable oil and hydrogenated soybean oil with tb h.q. a chemical preservatives which is
8:13 pm
a form of butane was linked to stomach tumors diet and finally die meth. which is a silicone that's used in cows maddox and breast implants and silly and a treat had. me mcdonald's eat like a champion. ok now take a bite of the big nuggets. i marinate joining me. for kinda impartial and financial commentary for news and much much. only on bombast and on.
8:14 pm
the no c.n.n. the m s m b c news have taken some slightly but the fact is i admire their commitment to cover all sides of the story just in case one of them happens to be accurate. that was funny but it's close and for the truth of the might think. it's because one whole attention and the mainstream media works side by side the joke is actually on here. at our teen years we have a different brain. because the news of the world just is not this funny i'm not laughing dammit i'm not how. i feel about. you guys sort of the jokes well handled in the sense that i've got.
8:15 pm
welcome back. old come back the water the water getting shut off in detroit for hundreds of thousands of people who are as little as one hundred fifty dollars behind on their payments the water the city of detroit is shutting off the water people can't survive without water that is so much worse than shutting off the slurpee easer the sunny day it the astro glide. on second thought i'm not sure astroglide is a public utility but it should be. now i don't know if you caught this but detroit is not doing well all right on a scale of one to ten detroit is that total recall level. and dilapidated homes litter the landscape no one has good jobs their pensions have been raided there's only two people left in the entire city who can even afford tickets to the movie
8:16 pm
theater it's eminem and kid rock all right. they don't even sit together so so now the water company has decided to start shutting off people's water and mass this is unconscionable all right this is disgusting it is a continuation of unfettered corporatism run amok we should care enough about our fellow humans to want them to survive whether they have money for water or not is there a parable about a guy who sees a man dying of thirst and yet drinks an entire gallon of water in front of him without giving him any most people believe that god with the water has still committed murder or acted very least he's a total baggage all right so so people running detroit you have to ask. be the nation's new baghdad. because i'm here in washington d.c. the traditional epicenter of baghdad to us and your handfuls of all right and i have to tell you it's not fun so just give the people some water if you want to help by the way fight for a better detroit go to detroit water brigade dot org if you want to fight for
8:17 pm
a worse detroit that's not possible. now we go to germany where they're dealing with bigger problems than detroit literally bigger problems such as giant vaginas or u.s. exchange student in germany got trapped inside a sculpture of a giant alrighty he had to be rescued by scores of firefighters. i'm sorry there's too many punch lines to choose from all right most of them revolve around analogies for marriage but i could also take the route of climate change of mother nature getting her revenge or where we could go the more literal path you know and just say it's a bad idea to foot statue even if it is under scavenger hunt checklist or or perhaps we could talk about how maybe the guy didn't even get trapped in there maybe the giant gave birth to a fully grown man all right we don't know what a massive stone vagina is capable of the testing has been done yet. maybe that's not it either maybe it's an alternative power source germany has been working on we
8:18 pm
know they're good at that they recently announced that fifty one percent of their energy was coming from solar power fifty one percent why the hell are we doing that i'll tell you why we are doing it because the fossil fuel interest in history has their hand so far up our political system everything tastes like burning a recent a recent graduate thesis from the technical university of branch showed that the amount of the sahara desert needed to power the world with solar panels would be negligible i mean look at this this is the actual map the big square is all that would be needed to power the world the second square would power the entire e.u. and the third square is all that would be needed to power lloyd blankfein battalion a but massage i'm germany has given up trying to get its gold back from us germany has the world's second largest supply of gold and much of it is housed in the new york fed in lower manhattan they've been trying to get it back
8:19 pm
for years so what about having slimy conniving wall street bankers who don't mind foreclosing on millions of americans to make a few bucks something about having those dude's just feet from your massive gold supply made them a little anxious i can't put my finger on what it was but so germany said we'd like our gold back please and we said a funny thing about your gold into. spoil assaf to die days yeah so we're going to throw it out and the german was like no no it doesn't and we were like no no it doesn't but. if we give you a gold back it's been in new york for like seventy years the culture shock of going back to berlin will kill it all right so and then the germans said well fine at least let us see it and then we said shorts or shorts or no problem here's a bar of gold and your gold looks just like that. you would think at this point germany would start going think you'd like to tell us. don't make us go all die
8:20 pm
hard three on you and steal the gold back. more bring on following all wave of undocumented minors coming across the us mexico border federal authorities plan to convert a fifty five thousand foot warehouse in texas into a processing facility but i think if we really wanted to stop undocumented immigration we should replace the border fence was something that would grab the people as they tried to get through if only there was something i'm fed sig giant vagina i the answer was right in front of my face the whole time i am and there was a snake it would have bit me i guess i just couldn't see the forest for the trees. what listen don't complain about the problems if you can't handle the solutions or stone vaginas or the future. i will now move to jeremy meeks the man deemed
8:21 pm

8:24 pm
a crime against humanity people are serving life sentences for nonviolent drug offenses how is that allowed. go on i absolutely agree but i'm a little curious here what was the third strike something involving a planetarium and a baby pool filled with wishing well pennies i don't want to talk about it. we don't have to talk about look these privatized prison corporations are making money off of putting people in jail they're becoming strong investments on wall street citizens are investing in the hope that the prisons will remain packed with inmates some of them sad to say. it doesn't matter whether sex or not locking people making money off of locking people up should be illegal fair enough plus the state sign contracts mandating of these private prisons will stay between eighty and one hundred percent for at all times so the state needs to arrest people to fill their side of the deal and some of the people there as their sags say i agree with you on all these points put it it doesn't matter whether people are sexy or not that's
8:25 pm
