is really to maintain the relation of colonial dependency on the west of that country. so that they want to deploy enough just enough troops to keep the government just about empower the afghan government just about in power and to keep it dependent on western military aid for its existence and its survival but not enough troops to actually to defeat the taliban or indeed isis so i think what we're seeing here this pouring of more troops into afghanistan is actually just readjusting the balance to maintain the this kind of balance because actually what we're seeing is increasingly afghanistan turning to friendly and deeper relationship with china. china for example last year opened up a major plank of its one one road project in afghanistan major railway link it's been investing heavily in and so on in the country and february this year really
