technology so i mean there's are the trade wars already been going on a long time is just now somebody in the u.s. wants to actually fight back now off fox com which is a huge factory in china they build the i phones and it's enormous they are apparently going to be opening up a factory in wisconsin is that true and what's the story there and is that change that balance at all. well that's a press release that's a press reports fox carney you know i know the company well they're mad they haven't you know city size industrial facilities they have areas that are like little foxconn cities where they have forty thousand workers fox on the actually taiwanese company i believe it will set up a facility the issues are the problem maybe after twenty years most of that electronic supply chain is all here and here it's not us so basically everything they have to be imported to us. it is the first side i think of the more assertive u.s. economic control seeing that you know china has their own policy called made in china

twenty twenty five anything left still imported like qualcomm chips they're trying to get made here they're trying to employ their own workers so this is not an unusual national policy so i support serious troubles elected all you hear here in china is talk more people oh we've got to go set up planes in united states so that kind of thing works in the somebody telling them look if you want to sell in america you better manufacture an american employed cloyd the people that are barred from you makes sense right so you mentioned mercantile ism and china's mercantile us policy is a little bit earlier it's actually growing their wealth at the expense of other countries and they have achieved this was a dollar pegged to make sure that imports into china don't. go up in value too rapidly so the effect in america for the average consumer is something i guess you could call adjusted real consumption in that even

though they are losing money on their wages the price of the stuff they're buying a wal-mart continues to go down faster than the rate at which their wages are decreasing so flat screen t.v.'s and clothes and these things made in asia slave made mostly are the give them be a fact of a rising living standards so the poor people in america live like kings compared to the really poor people in india china etc your thoughts on this. though that's absolutely correct i mean as a theory global trade is good we need global trade but we have to be realistic about it and we may have reached peak trade and we may have reached peak consumption as you mention as the dollar i believe starts to go down against the red maybe and other currencies globally those prices in walmart are get more and more expensive so what has been we are now at a cusp of over twenty years of this going and i've seen it as i've been here wages in china now i've risen so fast in wages in the us have been so stagnant that new

workers in china are almost roughly the same cost as a worker in the united states so a millennial chinese and a millennial american all make almost the same thing when you factor in chinese social costs and all these other things compared to someone and us making ten or eleven dollars an hour so there is a big opportunity for united states if they restructure the corporate tax system well that there's a big big opportunity for a lot of plants to start flooding back into the united states but you know what they have to get the structure right. and then we can hopefully start to employ people and people can start to re it to obtain skills that they used to have in the country. now let's talk about this one point five trillion dollars worth of treasuries that china owns and if the american economy continues to fall apart and the dollar continues to degrade china might seek to figure out how to square the circle what about allowing china to take control of america's fannie mae and

freddie mac. it's a multi-trillion dollar asset and china would effectively become america's biggest landlord as a way to pay off pay off china your thoughts well as you to as united states slips into from twenty some treated to thirty trillion in debt you know gap adjusted the united states is somewhere hundreds of trillions of dollars and as that process continues to unfold over the next four or five years nothing's off the table i mean this this week cheney's group buying group state owned begin are looking at to buy chrysler so u.s. is going to be down to two automakers g.m. and ford chrysler will be sold by fia within you know within the year so chinese buying assets in is states they've mostly focused on europe for politics they've stayed out of the united states but you know you could continue to see who knows what eventually go for say oh yeah why that you know warren buffett just sell berkshire hathaway to china for five hundred billion six hundred billion dollars and walk away from the table and having achieved the greatest heist of assets in
