of having meddled in that election since then there has been no concrete proof presented whatsoever but yet the claims persist and since then over the past year russia has been hit with a number of sanctions by the sea and it seems that the scales were just tipped too far for putin earlier this month when trump did sign off on yet another round of sanctions against russia and at that point putin did respond ordering that the u.s. embassy reduce its staff numbers in russia by seven hundred fifty five people so and of course today we're seeing the response that the united states saying that they have made the reductions that were requested and they are responding with having the russian consulate in san francisco needs to be closed down along with an annex here in d.c. and in new york closed down by september the second a very very short timeline and it's quite surprising given that for a long time we have heard from trump that he wants to improve relations with russia
