tv   Keiser Report  RT  October 24, 2017 3:29pm-4:01pm EDT

3:29 pm
she does the ground she did the militia. it is the tone of this not some of the. but on the. look. gets delivered on what. i am x. kaiser this is the kaiser report. from a kind desk paul nice guys are the most influential bitcoin are in the world we recommended at three dollars we've created thousands if not tens of thousands of millionaires around the world crypto millionaires we've done more to
3:30 pm
enrich the globe than the i.m.f. or the world bank. stacey. just so you know we're in new york now these are the buildings behind as we're done with our journey of the great american pilgrimage maxes here in new york city which means he's overdosed on this for us and. on the way here from radio city music hall christmas spectacular with the rock yes of course i used to work a recent musical guest relations or usher and rockets were there elevators on fiftieth street the chorus boys run fifty first street and you never get never mixed the rock gets with the chorus boys ever at all my god the sequins go flying just in case you notice you might have a little bit of red eye. yes i'm watching the price you know i have wealth influenza well flu when's a how do we deal with all this money i don't know desk is running the most
3:31 pm
influential people in the big point space you are one of the twenty names in the media culture bloggers fear. category mobley the richest that's kind of tacky and i just so we're in new york you're. you know last week we saw prices go up a thousand dollars in a twenty four hour period we also saw the dow jones go up a thousand points in the month which is the fastest ever that's four times this year that we've seen that the price rise of the dow by a thousand points so there's a melt up going on people are moving away rapidly from the central bank the central bank policy is certainly having a price impact on bitcoin i do notice that all the lists and the categories in that coin desk. the race to see who is the best most influential they do not have janet yellen who i believe is pushing
3:32 pm
a lot of these price their marial draggy which i thought was interesting jenelle's counterpart of the european central bank the east. the big day is when buying up all those trashy euro bonds like irish bonds i responsible for fourteen percent to two percent on the yield on the coupon and only by the european central bank because they played ball with the i.m.f. and they screwed the poor people with the water tax and that's ok in fact the euro junk bonds are trading at two point one nine percent versus the ten year treasury which is trading at two point three percent but we're going to get into that in a later episode i do want to say so we're back in the east coast we're off of our great american public image and i've been at the gym on the treadmill and up on that wall they have an m s n b c screen and a fox news screen and it is remarkable because here you have the elite class in america really wanting to shut down our tea and other news outlets and yet they can't see why people don't tune into them why people no longer listen to
3:33 pm
them and vote the way they want them to vote because you look at it and it's just filled with gossip is filled with nothingness is filled with no news at all describing the entire geo political and economic landscape it's all filled with gossip about various congresspeople and lobbyists and not even lobbyists of course they don't mention lobbyists inside political people that nobody nobody cares about this stuff is literally just gossiping trashy gossip is it gossip or is it propaganda and scapegoating true so here's rachel maddow not reporting on the hard news of corporate malfeasance and mal doings and so on we're doing this doings misdeeds. instead of talking about gossip talking about innuendo and scapegoating oh you voted for trump you must be
3:34 pm
in league with the devil there's no news on m s n b c there's no news on n.b.c. c.b.s. a.b.c. there's a little news on fox but not much yet like for example i had been on twitter and. tweet went through my stream from one of these you know these former cia run outfits now and it led to council trying to save the west save them ocracy and by saying that all of our problems every issue is about russia so they said that there was this congresswoman from florida that trunk got into a fight with i forget her name is like erica johnson or something like that she wears a wacky cowboy hat and she is apparently in a spat with donald trump anyway they said that it was trending because russian bots were trending this so i had never heard of this woman i don't know what it was about and then that's when i was in the gym on the treadmill and all they were
3:35 pm
talking about was this woman for at like ten minutes straight and i was like who is this one why they don't they see that they it's like a schizo phrenic sort of moment now in american history so the fact that you know italy's two richest regions for example this weekend have decided they voted for independence as a nonviolent binding vote but this this tells you what's going on in the world is that all of these bailouts like we were talking about all of these sort of wealth and income gaps emerge and all this theft and fraud going on as to what's happening in italy is because of the banks collapsing and taking all their money with it they're missing all of the big stories that the chinese communist party having their congress and. you know setting out their path for the next thirty years of how they're going to rule the world and all of you turn it into american news and what they're talking about is gossip gossip gossip and this
3:36 pm
woman's cowboy hat what's going on like none of it adds up to anything if you feel kind of nauseous and sad that they can't see that they're ill i thought it was like a gloria gaynor revival concert this woman with the purple cowboy hat hoo hoo hoo hoo like i thought maybe it was like a disco revival thing and only she's a politician somewhere and she's making ball dishes claims i don't know you know and we don't want to get into the gossip she's oh she's actually like a scientist or a doctor and then she became a congress scientologist nun and now she is actually like a very highly educated smart really talented woman and she just and i said it well but. you know some people say max wearing the same vest every day says something about him but brand awareness. branding again you know i want to call attention to this china congress yes that would let them do the news let's not do gossip
3:37 pm
because that was in the news you know it's not covered in the american news china has a congress well they have. every five years they do a congress that says like what the next five and thirty years are going to look like so here's how the australian press is laying this out while america you know descends into gossipy pit of of pointing fingers elsewhere china's thirty year deadline to rule the world china's leader has laid out his ambitious plans for a superpower in a three hour speech with huge implications for a stroll he said it was time for his nation to transform itself into a mighty force that could lead the entire world of political economic military and environmental issues the guardian reported the chinese nation has stood up grown rich have become straw. and it now embraces the brilliant prospects of rejuvenating and it will be an era that sees china moving closer to center stage and making greater contributions to man. so this is not reported on m.s.n.
3:38 pm
b.c. rachel maddow is not doing any of her dot connecting about any of this like. the world is just patiently adult like moving on and growing and moving forward while america descends into this weird political show he was speaking gloria gaynor in the sort of disco stuff i mean it looks like a cartoon it looks like some sort of satirical show it looks it's hard to tell which is a satire and who's more satirical like saturday night live or trump which was mocking who fall into place trump i saw tonight live is announce he's going to run for president and people are saying well what we would know the difference and it would be a great debate and entertainment is more valuable than political reality and i bet you hundred thousand dollars a regimental doesn't have a passport or if he does it's not up to date they don't know what happens outside of the bubble in secaucus new jersey or wherever they tape or show and they think
3:39 pm
that china is a country out there where they import a lot of i phones and tacky smoky pork bun well i suppose in the bubble of the elites they think that their propaganda that we are the greatest where the shining city on the hill like we it's morning in america all these sort of things they they don't go outside to the donna karan of news you know the arts donna karan famously you know defended harvey weinstein and her brand hit the gutter immediately so here's rachel maddow trying to pretend as though there is no world outside of secaucus new jersey and the nothing happens in china of this importance anyway and the rest the world is like treating us america like donna karan post harvey weinstein they're like who are these like brain dead you know non-working poor idiots donna karan defended harvey weinstein donna karan being a fashion designer by saying it was the clothes those women wore they shouldn't
3:40 pm
have it's typical you know blame the victim or all these women getting raped and the poor donna karan saying well they were the we're all donna karan outfit house not helping your brand it's. brand suicide america is committing brand suicide because the things that america supposed to stand for are being dragged through the mud by rachel maddow and other folks at m.s.n. basic and other media outlets that are reporting gossip anyway and nonsense and failing to report the news and so in the last minute that we have here i want to say because you won't see this on m s n b c you won't see rachel maddow talk about this you won't see any of their news programs opinion programs talk about this and that's just the simple tar and this only goes up to twenty ten and that's the wealth and income gap going back to for the top ten percent the top one percent how much of the wealth of the nation they control you see this is back in the teens in the twenty's and then world war two and this you know this period of
3:41 pm
you know more equality in america you know a world war two was a great equalizer if that's where we're heading back to a world war because everybody at the bottom of this list wants to get back into the middle they they do and you know when people when you tune in to see you don't see the economic aspect when people say they want to make america great again they just mock them and say oh it's all about you know white supremacy and i'm sure there are lots of white supremacists there but. there are people still alive that remember this is only in the eighty's that is starting to rock inequality again you and i remember when america was more equal and i thank you now anyway this is my observations on the treadmill wow treadmill journalism from the treadmill well we got to take a break don't go away stay right there by pitt cawing it's going to one hundred thousand protocol and vote for me i'm going to ask as the most influential cultural
3:42 pm
bit quieter on planet earth goodbye. apply to many clubs over the years so i know the game and so i got. the ball isn't only about what happens on the pitch to the final school it's about the passion from the fans it's the age of the super money kill you narrowness and spending to do the twenty million. it's an experience like nothing else not to because i want to share what i think of what i know about the beautiful game but great so one more chance with. one i'll go.
3:43 pm
is this and then i'm going to run. out of ok but i was going to come to church. yeah he was in the school some pro sometimes not but i was hoping to go much but if you have a lot of the behind of the out. she just hit the ground she didn't know. it is the speed of these numbers of these not to beat but i meet. the. kids they would come with.
3:44 pm
welcome back to the kaiser report i max kaiser time now to turn to kaiser report favorite randy bowler four time mayor of pittsburgh north carolina former chairman of the north carolina democratic party randy welcome back good to be back max all right we like to take the pulse of politics in america and with someone like yourself who has been steeped in democratic politics for the most part for many years and let's talk about three signature obama policies still playing out under trump obamacare banking and foreign policy so first on obamacare the premiums in north carolina were up forty four percent last year this year my premium is up
3:45 pm
twenty four percent many democrats are fighting tooth and nail to preserve this system why's that. well because if you eliminate the system we'd have an awful lot of people that wouldn't have coverage or their coverage would be too expensive so i think that this is a sensually the worst of all worlds it's what happens when you don't get a general assembly that endorses the programs by taking the money from the federal government when they could've and they have not actually tried to make this work again when i've been on the show before i'm for the public option i was for a more complete system for universal health care and this is something we predicted would happen and of course right now bernie sanders and others have signed on to going toward universal health care right now in d.c. ride right right this idea that we're helping people who would know and then they get health care or getting them out care if falls apart for a few reasons for it in my case i'm playing paying close to thirteen thousand
3:46 pm
dollars now a year and healthcare my my i got a seven thousand dollars deductible and i spend maybe four hundred dollars last year and i actually on health care i wouldn't i'm never going to make a deductible. so i'm never going to actually participate in this in the scheme and i want to touch you wouldn't pay them to universal health care but that we're not universal health care but just by saying that we hope to have universal health care doesn't mean we're anywhere near universal health care in the meantime we're experiencing what you call crypto fascism which is more to the point now is care industry are fascists they have aligned with elements in government and corporations to loot i'm being looted i'm not offering any kind of a service i'm being looted by fascists in america you call crypto fascism and we don't have universal health care and it's not unlike what happened in previous
3:47 pm
countries when corporations and government got together to loot the population right. well look my father in law is a retired trauma surgeon and when he got finished practicing in new york he went up to vermont. who is a pretty much standard issue conservative come to love and respect bernie sanders and his ripe old age you know the good dr russell he sees a major problem with the health care system and of course he left the system because of going to h.m.o.'s because it's going to the situation where you have a middle man between you and your doctor i mean really what we need is a family doctor for everyone this is an imperfect system we've tried to fix it and we can't get serious policy move forward in washington it's not really serious to repeal it and replace it replace it with what you have i mean that i mean it's not and i agree with you the system right now is flawed but would in the district we
3:48 pm
live in mark walker's for aggression in district if we were to pull the plug well over one hundred thousand people would be adversely affected so we have a situation where i guess you know you're correct max those that are financially benefiting from this have people where they want them in a noncompetitive market i mean the other aspect of this is we're not reforming tax policy where you have these catalog health plans that allow people to actually a business to treat it differently when they're paying for it right it should be a form of compensation like so i mean there's a lot of policies that have to move in order to fix what's wrong with our health care system if you can look at the health care in a vacuum because again if your objective is to help people who can't get care helping they. say the underprivileged in america then you wouldn't have the industrial prison state you wouldn't have cops and refining the asset forfeiture law to allow cops to steal money from people with no accountability whatsoever you
3:49 pm
would have education costs skyrocketing you wouldn't have transportation costs kyra . getting we just live as a standing rock reservation in north dakota and it's an open prison where once you step off the reservation cops stop you and they shake you down for money and everybody knows it now that's crap to fascism that's fascism so that's the bigger problem you know we have a problem fascism in america not a bad healthcare policy and when there are liberals in the left who are crying about a few people that are getting health care that wouldn't normally get health care are ignoring the fact that these people are being harassed by cops they're being raped in hollywood and they're being thrown in jail by the president state now when are we going to adjust the fascism problem in america randi you're a politician you know the score why don't we going to stop fascism when we actually start getting money out of politics i mean here's the here's the bigger question if you're a member of congress why don't you just change the law so you don't have to spend
3:50 pm
all day dialing for dollars and having to talk to these people and take money from them why don't you just change the system so you can actually make good policies that are affective and benefit all americans and the root is the root of what you're saying is is actually it's kind of a crony capitalist state or people actually taking advantage of others for dollars i mean the reason i believe that members of congress don't change it is that they feel like they're either stuck in the system they have and or they enjoy the access like i now have access to these wealthy people they make me feel like i'm very important and therefore i don't want to you know change the way the game is played now i'm a v.i.p. but if you really want to change for the american people max we've got to get rid of scissors united and change how we fund politics in this country. was that i just came from boston filming the great american pilgrimage of stephen baldwin
3:51 pm
will be airing on our t.v. in november and seven hundred seventy three a column this. it's decided in a brazen act of hostility to stage the boston tea party as an act against the crown set the stage for the revolution they tried every avenue to make some kind of compromise with the crown and with the monarchs it failed they staged a revolution how are we not at a similar inflection point in american history where we've tried every appeasement to the fascists to the monarchs to the entrenched aristocracy how are we not at yet again that point in time when we need to say enough is enough declare independence from american fascist corporations and restart hit the reset button do whatever it takes to hit the reset button and to save democracy or live like slaves to the corporate fascist randy that's why i'm saying when we get a man up well when people stop actually saying that corporations are people i mean
3:52 pm
that's a perversion of the fourteenth amendment it was argued pacific firstly after the thirteen the forty the fifteenth amendment were passed after a very significant inflection point the civil war and it was corporate interests that argued that case that got corporations the rights of people they shouldn't have the rights of you and i for one thing they can live on forever as long as they don't go bankrupt and dissolve you and i can't. so there all we all know that they're not people they can't love they can't feel pain the way we do they they can't have children they can't enjoy this beautiful day yet in a perversion of the fourteenth amendment they are actually allowed personhood and so if you take the personhood issue and connect it with the citizens united issue this is a key reason why we have the problems of our country and why i agree with you we probably are at an inflection point you know at some point the people are going to realize that yes they're being looted and it's not something that's the that's
3:53 pm
a republican issue or democrat issue it's an issue of certain elements in our society that have decided that they don't respect the masses and all they think of them as consumers and folks that we can take from us in other words rachel maddow m.s.n. may say she can't really criticize corporate fascist in america because under the personhood fourteenth amendment that you're talking about they can claim that they're being discriminated against and their feelings are being hurt well i mean it gives them the rights the rights to privacy so you see in some of these cases were corporations do things that are deleterious to the public good to the commons they come in and say you know we have the same rights as max kaiser so you can have one regional reasonable search and seizure or we have our own rights under the first amendment as if you as a person they have the right of the freedom of speech and person who gets to be a fascist because that they identify as fascists and would be politically incorrect
3:54 pm
to call them out taken to the public square and deal with them as historically fascist have been dealt with that let me move on to we have to go on also by and let's go live on to barack obama his department of justice allow the big banks to get away with mortgage fraud crime a new investigation from the nation magazine reveals that j.p. morgan defrauded the department of justice by writing off the loans they no longer actually own when does this crime wave stop suddenly were safe. morgan they wrote off loans they got a huge economic benefit on loans that didn't exist essentially phantom loans that jamie diamond just plucked nonsense out of the air said it was worth something committing massive fraud is a serial fraught series of financial terrorists as we've said over and over again he's a corporate fascist and yet he has protection under this personhood agreement to what is a crime wave stop when you know democrats i guess the democrats. you
3:55 pm
know here's a great issue to gain some political traction going after fascism is that a crowd pleaser stop fascism in america is that a crowd pleasers not a good idea well look in the past actually we have had the backbone to do these investigations we did it in one nine hundred thirteen there were the peugeot hearings we did it in one thousand in the early thirty's in one nine hundred thirty four there was a fairly famous prosecutor and congress actually got to the bottom of this for some reason we have decided to give you know white collar criminals a pass and you know that's one of the failures i think of the obama administration is that they didn't you know prosecute the folks that essentially perpetrated this fraud on the american people which which was the two thousand and eight meltdown now let's not forget though that the end of the bush administration when you know they came up with the bailout from what i understand you probably heard the same thing you know they all went into a room our treasury secretary and a lot of folks connections to very powerful firms like goldman sachs and and they
3:56 pm
came up with a very simple agreement almost written on the back of a napkin a three page agreement to distribute seven hundred eighty seven billion dollars. give or take a few billion and i thought my god you know the average consumer that goes in there to try to put down money and buy a house now has to go through a pretty rigorous process and practically sign away their life to actually get a loan on a house and. these guys are getting hundreds of billions of dollars that are of venture being paid for by the american people on agreements that are you know two and three pages long right just basically a handshake agreement and like we're all going to take care of ourselves we're in here with the leaders of the new york fed working with the with the banks with the investment banks etc etc to me that was a failure and i hope that if we get a changeover in congressional leadership either the republicans get a backbone or the american people put in democrats that we actually get real
3:57 pm
