9:30 pm
now i am an american a while so that's what went on when i was president there is a civil war going on a very contentious a lot of anger but every soul now so you can correlate that. as far as the liberals and conservatives just want to win a little bit of us some political disputes of knowing north korea a little bit of russia also all right what's going on leisure they were national player back on monday night yeah will pick up currently we're all from the girls on trying to sit we rigged election to get trump in office the liberals are the russian liberals in and we're cool russia is not right and then russia pissed because they did not treat me like shit right and then now they're on our other well i had top blanket with my son to school them from time to time for stealing an apple i know i retire at a. young tot he died tragically young and it's points of mind that really upset my
9:31 pm
life i have ever lost the serval. so some liberals are saying that russia has something to do with the election yet but yet they think that hillary didn't win because they bring new life it really doesn't make sense doesn't. it stephen heads back inside kathy pino to meet with a regular customer who's running for the senate from the state of affairs. and. stephen baldwin preacher abu from. arizona is. in my heart i did a t.v. show called the young round of the west a.b.c. family t.v. show of the pony express so i thought we were going to shoot a pilot and there was no way this thing was going to serious three years we did it and it was a blessing it's really cool and i stayed in tucson the other side. and you need to
9:32 pm
watch them. and what's really horrible so i'm here for dinner we should still. early want to tell you. there's a difference between if you were born a muslim or so tell me that story. of. oh no this is how you know it's just my brain to calibrate what i want to ask you because it would be very different if you were born into the muslims than if you married muslims so i don't know. me there. grew up in arkansas and the first thing i learned about islam was in the sixth grade social studies class and learned about world culture and i learned that in the middle east all the women were property and walk two steps behind the men and then in seventh grade we learned about world religions and then after every chapter of my teacher would say i was in public school but my teacher would say and they're going to hell and because they're not christian they
9:33 pm
don't believe in jesus and so when we got to islam it was it was muhammad is. seriously so in college i started meeting people who were middle eastern exchange students and i was and still am a minister and would go up to them and tell them how awful they were that they beat their wives and they didn't believe in jesus so i was trying to convert them to christianity and they would explain to me well no that's not what islam says i mean some people are bad to women but islam is and and we do believe in jesus in fact we have an entire chapter on the mother of jesus of how he was born and all of his miracles so then i started learning more about islam and the more i studied it the more i liked it and it spoke to me. before that you're a christian now. that's amazing that's an easy testimony. and for me. i didn't change religion means i expanded on my
9:34 pm
understanding of my relationship with god isn't chilling overrating so you. know but it's very important profit and teacher in islam. because what's fascinating is here sits two individuals from two totally different walks of life i'm a guy that was a dumb jock from long island new york whose dad was a public school teacher and football coach i grew up on a friday night lights fighting every weekend drunk thing and yet there's things i know about your face now. and things you know about my face and the things you know about your faith based on the fact that you know things about my faith and yet. you choose. to try to get to a place just interpretation a lot just means god in arabic just like
9:35 pm
a law is not the god of the christian god if you can read the koran it's all the same prophets i mean look at abraham and absent the same god everybody so they got the message right so the almighty. is the same father. only called according to the most the same god that we don't believe that god had a child and that jesus was a miracle birth but that did not make him these eight on the sand dead on a child of god anymore they made the rest of us that were all children of god. and then put it out to be the same entity yes we believe it's the same entity the same prophets this isn't even the same stories just as some details changed. you know i bet you were a lot more similar than we realize while steven is being schooled on the second largest religion in the world. max is swell. fellow yes big. imam blanket he's not
9:36 pm
a blink in. my driveway i five five ok but the american dream is still alive i i don't know what to say about that honestly because it's just american dream it's so to me subject and honestly my parents. were there. and you know they give me an education and to them i suppose that's. an america i feel is still you know went off truly but you know things are changing. just says you know the u.s. is prospering so in a country and third world countries are slowly becoming more and more you know to take on psychologically develop yes exactly and so with things i doubt honestly i feel like you know the world is a lot more. you know has made a lot more potential no matter where you go. you're in arizona you are in fear of the federal state see correct us that you're running for the u.s.
9:37 pm
senate. where are you now in your journey. of empowering women i have been on that journey of empowering women a very long time when i became a a civil rights and social justice advocate here in arizona basically i was running organizations going around the state telling people you know about misinformation about muslims or bringing groups together to work on civil rights issues and i think that that's very empowering to have a woman in leadership in a woman taking the lead then you know i decided to you know run for us and so for me at the old bat that one is just that i have the. personal presence to what i do and that i'm willing to do when and i'm not asking permission and i'm not waiting for a pitcher right. and soon is giving that same thought process matter when it. and
9:38 pm
how you came with those folks still back in arkansas that that say to themselves. but i'm ok with asking for permission are you ok with that i'm not going to judge somebody that's not the same place in life that i'm not some yeah you made jeremy go now i think they're dumb down in the wake up and i looked him in the head with a loaf of bread you know. everybody's on their own journey all i can do is plant seeds and hope in a beautiful flower grows i'm not responsible for the flower. so much has changed since i was president of the united states. i know some of the students. very dark and funny. and a blank and to god can we chat for a minute can we chat a little bit. now your friend can wait we're after is talk serious business this is a serious business there is nothing serious when a man is dressed like that. yeah i'm
9:39 pm
a blink and we have to chat it was or lose your other friend reports of a one thousand century stocker are currently rolling in. oh no there were no windows up the new president took my office at the white house there's a new guy he's got people upset you can't is that what's going on that i have personally i mexicans and i i don't really i don't like not find a. good little problem on your border. now i'm going to say. what say you but. my ears start getting mitchie cousin here and some politician. you know usually now she's better to reach over and go politician this . you know arms that. lets the politicians are at the top which are hard. so first of all first of all tell you what. do we need to.
9:40 pm
it. should. be first like when you all know it's coming to inspect our property if somebody would invent told me that i'm going to spend my life for the plank of it as i'll talk to stroke over some of the salt it was clear to see. every night all we were attacked will attacking them it will extremely shocked and saying but that's not possible oh i'll make those movies on the cinema house with all the presidents in the on call. it was like a lightning bird to be able to live together. credit is one of the basic instruments to drive an economy but it can also lead to
9:41 pm
tragedy i did it i took the how to start can be god and meant that the debts tie came to god and it was fire not. many lives have been broken by excessive test the banks got you into trouble on the only big bankers come. on the goldman the banks but very few ordinary men who lost money through the back under don't buy creditors people see no future bad face from happening you know you become ill you know into a job no relationship breaks down you become a casualty is death a lifelong trap or is there a way out of those actually come to bed hungry know of the right to ditch them from so much risk and come with. a plate for many clubs over the years so i know the guy even so i got some.
9:42 pm
football isn't only about what happens on the pitch for the final school it's about the passion from the fans it's the age of the superman each of. us and spending six to twenty million fly a. book it's an experience like nothing else not to because i want to share what i think what i know about the beautiful guy great so what chance with. the piece it's going to. in america. you have a little problem on your border. do we need a law first of all tell you all. the walls that we have have it worked as well as other technology can do we need. to know that we need a law as an immigration attorney i will tell you we do need to monitor it but a wall all it is is a cost or it's an ecosystem a disaster because so many animals pass through there there's drones and other ways
9:43 pm
that we can make sure and monitor that border much more effectively than spending money on an actual structure like you know we're making a chinese wall. and so you're much to see i tell you you how far out there on second generation and states so immigration is a very big issue in america of course so what is how do you feel about it do you feel like it's being handled well or not and i feel like building a wall really would help. i also feel that you know we have roots here and they have rules there should the person who is here a certain way that wasn't correct. should be receive funding from my taxes. for somebody who is a citizen. i feel sorry for the families that have already made a made a living here and you know get kicked out or whatever is going on should this administration salo through with its promise for
9:44 pm
a wall. the day that politicians should follow through on a promise when it no longer makes sense for the country is a day that we should definitely regret as americans you should do what's best for the country you can explain why it's differentiates from your promise that you hopefully made in sincerity and thought was the best solution at the time but as we get more information as we get more technology as things change we should be able to move forward to what's best for the country instead of having to say i got to do this because i made a promise. even if it's wrong decision that's the effect of leadership. so when you speak to your friends or family back in mexico you kerns folks to still come here or you're saying maybe you know what i don't like most people are like handsome to them now with the new president because it's so harsh and it seems like it's a lot harder to get your presidency like it was hard before and now it's going to
9:45 pm
be even harder so i think a lot of your previous one of those crazy wall things. as a result shows mexico's going to pay for that's going to happen probably down. to you know what would have a hundred percent turnaround overnight. if decisions started being made that would be better for everything. you would have instant approval ratings all over the even people who hate with a passion people who have the hash tag of not my president if you created a health care system that made sure that everybody was minimally covered major that no one was left behind if you made sure that every veteran was taking care of and not left behind if you made sure that in military decisions that you didn't have civilians with no strategy telling the military what to do and you actually listen to the military experts about what they should do because they're on the ground and no more never mind if they're the experts if you had if you did the wall and you did the technology to make sure that that was secure without hurting the eco system
9:46 pm
without hurting the environment and without the necessary money if you did all those things that's a win and everybody would say wait a minute that's better than what we were promised you would get the people who want your promise because that's what they had their life staked on and you get the people to hate you with a passion because everybody wants what works so well that was educational. i learned from those students. under the birth of her situation everybody would kill us. spot on. what's been going on in the country since i left civil most political discourse is gone ok well who's discoursing out like i'm like when i was president there were the abolitionists right then the issue of slavery you know today what is the issue and who is fighting exactly i'm not. caught up with who are you from taliban or for you for years you surprised like when you got
9:47 pm
here and you're like wow that's what i did never expected that what it was anything about like surprise when you came here.
