more of this to have additional space for example we have the world cup. coming soon and maybe we should remove some of the regulations regarding alcohol and tobacco. well not just to back about alcohol for example. we need to give additional herdsman to the crime in why it's. the most of those lives in this is you know this is just gravy. but better. and we need to use this to give us additional. fuel and energy. released. as. small doses our goal is positive for your body and then the amount. well i grew up drinking my mother's.

milk well anyways so when you see a situation like this you just want to help so can you help us mr burton. listen surrogate first of all we've already lifted some of the restrictions because we allowed you to advertise beer we love. to advertise wines. domestic wines but. as long as they use it to grapes and we did this after one of the meanings i don't remember if it was the same meeting as today or expanded meeting but it was my meeting with the media and this is a proposal that you came up with and i did this i talked to the government and we did this we allowed you to advertise russian wines made with russian.
1:32 pm
russian grapes so what else. do you want me to do you said this is good for a what good product are talking about whiskey. and what i say is that we should go forward beyond what. we should stop before it's too late. well why not just talking about some benefits some tax deductions and so on and so forth. what we're talking about is a way to make money through advertising. snow and i know what you're talking about then you do have a point here because your advertising revenue dropped by fifty percent the show had to return the market is shrinking. that's true and your revenue fell by almost fifty percent.
1:33 pm
even though we. tried to maintain some benefits for you for paper for customs. tariffs for i think it's five kind of. we have the reduced customs. tariffs from twenty to ten percent i think and the you also have other kinds of benefits but as regards. hard liquor it's basically bought whiskey that you can. no i don't feel good about. what about cognac. ok we've just been listening in live to president paid saying answering questions from journalists that so much covers it during that conference we'll have all the highlights for you at the top of the hour.

is an amazing story because now we're seeing real political impact on a g. twenty country g seven countries actually the spending power of the culture the rise of big going in the millions of people about buying it in japan multi billion dollars that they have appreciated in value is causing a genuine effect in their economy and this is going to be the year twenty. currencies have this geo political influence. the. breaking news here on t.v. international ecuador grant citizenship. a song in the country's embassy in london for over five years. headlines the us all he wants to

help develop software the following of social media accounts and he would respond to the. fight for power in the world of big sports just american officials were allegedly pushing for the world anti-doping agency and its for one of the chiefs so they could unilaterally apply to use of measures. swat teams national live from moscow just eight pm here in the capital one thanks for joining us this hour. door has granted citizenship to wiki leaks chief julian a song she's been holed up in the country's embassy in london for over five years now morell not. going to shed some more light what's been going on to see it was a bit on and off for a while was that the information coming through seems official now what does this decision mean for a song. well it down unfortunately for julian assange continues to be quite
1:38 pm
complicated as this long winded saga continues if you remember the rumors were spread last night following him tweeting a picture of himself wearing a t. shirt with the ecuadorian national colors stirring lots and lots of rumors online and in the press about the possibility of him potentially having received ecuadorian citizenship now tonight we have got a confirmation of this from the foreign minister of ecuador following a press conference where some of the details but not very many were laid out for the understanding of all of those following the case of julian the son cheer is what the ecuadorian foreign minister had to say. this naturalization was granted on the twelfth of december twenty seventeen they quit or in government is empowered to crunch national to status to the protected. well so the latest that we have is that the founder of wiki leaks julian the songe does now have ecuadorian citizenship in

terms of whether or not this is actually going to open any doors for him remains to be the big question here of course as we all remember he has been holed up inside the ecuadorian embassy in london fearing coming out onto the street and leaving the place in fear of being extradited to the u.s. and the big question remains what happens in terms of the british officials reaction's who have been clear over and over again that if he does walk out of the embassy they would still arrest him because of him having breached his bail conditions at the time of when he initially went into the embassy so we do know that ecuadorian officials have requested that britain allow for julian assange to have diplomatic immunity or diplomatic status that would lead to diplomatic community and this has been a big no from the u.k. who said they're not going to go ahead with this kind of plan we did hear from the officials of ecuador that they're going to continue and have been negotiating with britain still to try to find a solution as we know also the foreign. has said that the situation with julian
1:40 pm
assange has become unsustainable and it's time to move his case along now we here at r.t. have spoken to the people in ecuador about what they think of his case let's take a look. from if you're not political he does need human rights and i think that's what the government will give him there is also a health issue because we know he's enclosed in a very small space there are many things that cross my mind is he healthy enough to stay there. a supermodel in a level of the best is to use a refugee policy and support him in this way. well so with this latest development being granted citizenship the all eyes are now going to be on what seems the outcome of these talks between ecuadorian officials and officials here in britain is going to be because again as we said he still does face arrest if he does leave the ecuadorian embassy obviously the biggest fear for julian assange continues to be possible extradition to the u.s. where of course he is wanted for all the works that we can leaks have been doing in terms of exposing the actions of the american government and all of this of course
1:41 pm
despite the fact that the initial case carried out by sweden and followed by sweden in terms of sexual allegations made against him has been dropped so the reaction there would be that that would potentially open the gate for him to have more freedom ability in this whole case but that hasn't happened obviously of course we saw what he has such as the united nations say that has been holed up inside the ecuadorian embassy here in london could be seen as arbitrary detention so certainly it's a very complicated case of course that has been going on for years and years but it seems that this is a step forward so we're going to have to wait and see whether this particular latest step ends up leading anywhere rawdon as a reporting from along with the latest on the julian song song. now the u.s. army is looking for help to access and respond to foreign social media platforms with a system so sophisticated it can even understand

a new slang are to discover the ad online for more details let's cross live now to a little more put in a tale of thanks for joining us what else do we know about the potential software for this operation. well it was posted on the website of government opportunities in the united states and the advertisement essentially asks for someone to create software that can determine the negative or positive tone of the facebook and social media posts and then from there create replies in the same tone now interestingly it's vociferously says that it's looking for software that can read korean farsi and if i'm not mistaken russian and now the pentagon wants replies to posts in the original cho now the advertisement specifically says that it's from the united states army intelligence and security command now this is rather important if you keep in mind that for many months there have been
1:43 pm
accusations leveled against russia the allegation is that russia has all kinds of quote troll farms that are trying to influence the united states on social media with posts it appears that if we look at this advertisement this is a very public confirmation to the fact that it looks like the us armed forces the us army and security intelligence and command they are looking to do roughly the same thing now we have reached out to the pentagon about this advertisement promoting and calling for people to make software to engage in this kind of social media activity they have not replied to any of our inquiries we have not heard back from them yet we have repeatedly reached out to them but it's quite an interesting interesting advertisement essentially calling for people to create software to interact on social media on behalf of the u.s. army intelligence. is kind of bring us but many things still not so well.
1:44 pm
told my colleague mckeown earlier she's not surprised the u.s. might be willing to develop such software if it hasn't already. the most obvious interpretation would be that this is a pushback against the allegations that have been made consistently for the last eighteen months about so-called russian troll forms influencing elections across the west and it's interesting to see that the languages that they're advertising for are a blend which of iran and of course north korea and russia so that would be a bit of a sort of give away about which countries they want to be targeting having said that though the timing is interesting because for sure the west has been running these so-called troll farms against other countries as well for a long time and so are they just trying to expand their operations by developing this new software or are they trying to disingenuously suggest to people that actually have done it before only the big bad russians the big bad chinese have run
1:45 pm
troll farms and are beginning to develop this software that's a big mystery isn't it where there is such software would be a threat or whether it would be snooping it's one to try and influence people's attitudes certain issues of course so that can't potentially be a threat i mean that's what america has been saying about the so-called russian hacking of the american election last year but yes it can be used for snooping too and interestingly it was only a couple weeks ago i think that we can leaks revealed a program. from d.c. h.q. which is the u.k. government communications headquarters are listening post which was actually doing the same sort of trolling and developing the same sort of software between the years two thousand and nine two thousand and ten so britain certainly has been doing exactly the same thing for almost a decade as well. or.
