great great wants them to integrate with the costs of us what is what if i don't know for instance as an option serbian access the northern part of costa little populated with. independence could that be a working compromise. we have our own proposals on how the compromise could look like. me and some christian i don't consider it necessary to even enter a compromise they don't want to discuss they just want to discuss that belgrade should recognize their independence and that is unacceptable for us we can have discussions on other issues we have an internal dialogue on how to arrange the relations but albanians obviously think it's enough to have recognition from some western countries and i would make it a fait accompli they're wrong here they have a false list of countries that have recognized them to speak of one hundred sixteen countries that record. and i'm sure it's in the interests of all to actually find

a compromise but if they don't want to compromise we shall continue our struggles when us through what is. the serbian compromise look like i mean first step for all bands to engage with you in a dialogue to be ready for a compromise and then what is your proposal of a compromise what would it be. it's not in the media it should be discussed i mean with due respect to all i wouldn't like to engage in this publicly we can discuss the several times but i mean i gave my own proposals and we didn't come to a point that they would actually listen to our proposal which. maybe they'll hear usually media say great now let me review it would be easier if i had to negotiate review but you know they won't listen to us at all they just say we're independent and you have to recognise us and that's all. it is not for mr we're going to take

logical matter of the fact they demand maybe not. the german foreign minister himself but the e.u. in general that's one of the demands that you have to recognize the independence what's more important for serbia session to you by twenty twenty five or recognizing. let me repeat once again no one has officially said this to us the european union cannot really stand by a position like that when it has five members that do not even recognize course we cannot expect spain to be more serbian oriented than the serbs themselves but no one can demand those things of serbia is humiliating obscurity of serbia six good relations want to join the european union but what they're telling us they should be telling pristina as well they should tell them that there is no european perspective no path to europe unless you reach an agreement with great they tell us

that there is no such perspective tell this to the other side as well say that there will be no european path for them unless they reach a compromise and so we'll see if there really double standards in their behavior i mean i know the answer i can tell you this immediately right now yes there are double standards but we're not going to fall for that this is my opinion maybe there will be some other government in serbia that will accept it but i think this is not going to happen in our generation you couldn't believe what's happening from the other side you want to see closer part of the union costs or sponsored feeling european union how it serbia feel about that if the cost of a membership of course on hours of the course of all cannot become a member of the european union let me point out that you should be reading carefully what the documents of the european union say they do have an agreement on

really bothers us the only thing that they're going to consider is whether or not we're going to accept some sort of concessions in dialogue with a christian or. because the e.u. strategy also says that none of the western balkan states can be considered as a functioning market economy i mean serbia has just completed a three year and left program with flying colors you actually the economic results exceeded all expectations if you're not a market economy then what are you. there were some proposals to form a joint market in the ball can be done with this but many in our region are allergic to proposals aimed at unit c. because it reminds them of former yugoslavia for example. montenegro and some other states were not willing to accept any proposals like that because they

see them as something where serbia will be dominant because serbia by size is bigger than many others combined together. would be as if someone in the european union. we don't want a common european market because germany would be dominant there so there are many obstacles that are not related to cost of oil here. but we should be working on those of course strengthening relations searching for resolutions of disputes that we in the former yugoslavia and countries and of course encouraging economic developments. and then there is also the serbian people and how they feel about entering the you for instance of a certain way from bridging the corporation council which says that seventy percent of serbs believe that the country will be part of the twenty twenty five and thirty three. point. you know this is joke that iraq what's the difference between optimists in the past and the optimist thinks that it's actually

not in that package perhaps not all of them will answer at the same time. the regards a principle. i have one last question about china if you don't mind that china has been heavily investing in serbia for the last couple of years and that makes the european union worried i think maybe that's why when they put forward a plan for the better west balkan states to become part of the e.u. in twenty twenty five but would you be willing to give up all those chinese contracts for your ear membership because they don't want conform even norms and standards. but some countries in the european union are jealous and opposed to the strengthening of our economic cooperation with china or russia for that matter but that does not mean that the same is true when they are involved with china look at it until america goes to china and brings along business people and

then signs a lot of contracts in china medical north and central europeans agreed to the russia project north stream so that's ok when they deal with it and when we want to do the south stream gas pipe then it's not ok we are not going to violate any standards any principles regarding regulating the economic deals but with china and russia we are strategic partners we have agreements we have such agreements with france as well because we shall surely continue that cooperation it was so far russia is a bigger investor than china and we like that welcome that we are happy as we are happy to welcome any other country which isn't coming to us by a military airplane or because there were any money on the foreign minister thank you very much for this and all the best of luck with everything and helpless.
