is an outstanding fundraiser for a party and i think that goes without saying larry that we need also new blood in the party and we have seen that we have won over forty state legislators races since trump became president we won a few important primaries on our side as democrats and we have seen many progressive candidates come out of the primaries so i can tell you that our party continues to reshape itself in accordance to or population of the people that join our party and we should continue to do so i am very optimistic that we can retake the house come november some of the latest polls that i've seen say that we have a little bit of over over six percent lead now we have we got to be careful we got to make sure the democrats mobilize they organize that's the way that we will continue to win come november. but i think i'm very hopeful number one because we have a president that truly doesn't care about the american people and we have seen time

issue in america and we should the white house apologizing should kelly said keep her job or have to sing about mccain he's dying anyway. that was such a crass and ugly remark for that young woman to make in the white house staff meeting and apparently she promised the mccain mccain family that she would issue a public apology i think she needs to deliver on that promise if you tell people i'm going to let the whole world know that i was sorry for making those remarks about your father dying of brain cancer then i think it's your obligation to do that but i also understand the white house point of view sarah huckabee sanders in saying look whoever leaked this information leaked this remark to the press they weren't just hurting kelly saddler which seem to be their intention they're also hurting the integrity of being able to have staff meetings where people can speak candidly and at the end of the day they're hurting the boss that now the white house is you know being dragged into this because one staffer made this remark in

a private meeting and another staffer leaked it i don't know if that person had their knives out they've been trying to get this woman fired and this was their opportunity but at the end of the day it doesn't serve their staff and it doesn't serve the president and it doesn't serve the american people but getting back to kerry kelly saddler yes she owes mccain family a public apology just as she promised she would all presidents have said this but this week president trumps we did that leakers are traitors saying leakers are traitors and towers and he'll find out who they are i think every president has said they will find out who the leaders are and i have never heard in my years on earth one leader revealed. well there you remember during the bush years there was you know the manhunt for who leaked the name of the cia operative valerie plame etc scooter libby got in the crosshairs and it turns out he wasn't the leaker it was richard armitage not scooter libby's so these leaks cunts tend to be extremely

destructive but you know you should be leaking in the first place we saw during the obama years that the leak khan's became quite legal and journalists were in the crosshairs with the obama skinny the obama administration department of justice with with them going after james rosen reporters at the a.p. reporters at the new york times so this thing can actually really snowball and get people involved who were never leaking in the first place jose form a second date rex tillerson in a. in a speech at the commencement address at virginia military institute one of a growing crisis in ethics and integrity in washington talk to the importance of truth and political discourse and insists that a common set of facts was essential to maintaining a free society which he apparently talking about president from. he sure it isn't

traps far far apart and separate and away from the original mission of the investigation which is did the russians meddle in our election and was there any collusion which by the way is not a legal term but was there any cooperation with the trial campaign so most legal experts would tell you that mr trump sitting down with mr mueller is a very bad idea but getting back to the former secretary of state mr tillerson in his speech perhaps he was talking about the president hard to know he didn't say but he very well could have been talking about james comey or james clapper our former director of national intelligence or for that matter john brennan our former cia director who we are learning every day has not been telling the truth both under oath and to the american people when it comes to the russian vest a geisha in the steel dossier what role that played in opening that investigation all three of those gentlemen have been caught in some pretty serious lies and i think a lot of people are frankly sick of it. jose do you expect democrats to regain the majority in the house i am very confident larry that we can make that happen again

we've seen the blue wave come in we've been winning elections left and right since mr trump became president i think we can do it but we've got to make sure that every single democrat does not stay at home they come out they mobilize their organize and they and they continue to represent and that we continue to represent the democratic values we move forward i'm very optimistic that we can make it happen but we've got to work for it and media expect the democrats to get back to gun control is an issue. you know i would be surprised if they did but within the democratic party there is you know this tug of war you have the progressive left that wants democrats to run as as the progressive left and as the hash tag resistance anti trump anti trump but then you've also seen other democrats where they have had success in the special elections running away from the progressive left you saw in the pennsylvania special election in alabama those democrats ran as centrist they did not mention nancy pelosi stayed far away from all of that and

actually did not criticize donald trump as they were trying to gain those you know interest and possibly even center right on the i think it's politicians have to go their own way and me on the other hand there's a strong poll out that young republicans are turned off by john young republicans what do you make of that. you know that doesn't surprise me we saw in the last election cycle in twenty sixteen so many millennial is who love bernie sanders over hillary clinton and then of course in the exit polling democrats did very well with those young voters young republicans i think that there is a lot of conflict there in terms of what does trump represent is he conservative what is trump isn't and donald trump has his own shall we say flamboyant approach to governing that is not necessarily republican so that doesn't surprise me but come this november look it is an uphill battle for republicans historically it's

against them to be able to maintain control of the house they only have a twenty three seat margin so you know they're going to be fighting you know fighting very hard to keep it to that twenty three but if they lose anything more than that and democrats regain control jose who's your favorite candidate a democrat in twenty twenty. i can't say i have a favorite yet larry but i have a few favorites i think there's a we have a lot of great candidates i really like holy and pastoral cory booker's really great potentially martin o'malley former governor of maryland so there's a few camilla harris was also great so we got a great diverse portfolio so i'm excited to see what happens and media what do you make of this apparent or supposed risk between tense and trump. i think that's pretty overblown i think that we've seen the vice president handle his position very well actually that he seems to understand his role as vice president and he's building up the political infrastructure that he knows how to do we have to

gets his vote or her or she gets his vote and they become the next prime minister that makes sense that's where we are at seventy days on since italy had an election it's this is the attempt to try and get some kind of consensus government now that the preliminary versions of this agreement that have been leaked over the last few days well they were criticized in the media as being either you or pro russian we can now have a look at exactly what was in what is in the proposal so they will be no unilateral exit from the eurozone or the e.u. there won't be any referendum taking place on italy leaving either of those two they won't ask for two hundred fifty billions you're worth of debt to be written off but there will be a review of go see a sion that will be attempted we're also looking at potentially a huge overhaul of immigration policy within the e.u. particularly the dublin treaty italy wants to see big changes there the five star

and league ignored wanting to push that through should they get an ok in the go ahead on this government they also want to see the scrapping of sanctions against russia and russia to be viewed as a trade partner not as a threat now if we look at the the versions that were leaked previously the word immediately was in there it's worth noting that isn't in the official final version the team published on friday and there's also talk of. any universal basic income that would be seven hundred eighty euro per person living in italy that's going to see seventeen billion euros worth of public spending but also and ask for cash from the european union have to keep an eye on that but this is certainly going to be if it gets the green light a government that goes head to head with brussels there's going to be collisions here particularly when you look at the ideas that are being put ahead to scrap austerity and to get back spending public money that is not going to go down well
