their radar signatures with this plane or could this have been an intentional maneuver by the israeli jets knowing full well that they would put this larger russian aircraft in harm's way. well i think what's happened we've seen there's been a very sort of intrinsic diplomatic moves to try and defuse this situation and it is looking as though it is a tragic sues of circumstances which has led to this you've also got to realize that different organizations have different systems and they're all going to be keyed into different c'mon. if you like. no one overall control and is controlling all the movements in this particular area now this is in the conflict zone but also there's civilian commercial traffic as well and of course with all this going on they'll be conflicting messages going around and it is for the skill of the people on the ground to try and make sure that the right

messages get the right people because they do actually target the right targets and the russian military also said there was a french frigate operating near by off the coast which according to them made it harder for the syrian air defenses thems to work how how could that happen how would that affect the whole thing and i mean do you do these add offense systems not have some sort of way of telling friend from fro in order to stop this sort of friendly fire. where you've got to remember that they're operating at breakneck speed and so instant decisions have to be made now if you go to some time and you can actually leisure look through all the data that streaming through the great rate of knots then the calls you can that you make a very considered an informed decision but there might have been a scenario i don't. no the scenario you see this is pure speculation whether said oh this is a this is a viable target if you go for it now the french naval frigate and i understand also has radar arrays and of course it will be emitting signals junkin the airways if

does actually have the skill of the facilities to retaliate but he wants to make sure first of all that is that the right action because the point is these are they have a relationship and they're fighting what they think is a common foe so you don't want to be out she's stirring up minor skirmishes on either side and so they have to examine this very very carefully and if there have been a series of mistakes then of course the command and control system will have to be overhauled and they'll probably how develop new codes new ways of doing things possibly retrain some people possibly bringing in new advanced equipment to try and make sure this doesn't happen again there's a whole sea. of operations could be done. but obviously all of this is very expensive but then again human life is priceless it's not the first time of course that planes have been shot down in and around syria during this conflict from from

various factions and if you remember a couple of years ago there was the downing of a russian jet by turkey in an incident that certainly had massive diplomatic fallout and putin today drew a line between that saying that was intentional today's incident is more of a chain of tragic tragic events a chain of events which led to this is that an assessment you agree with. i think i think is on the money there because the point is that he is that you look he's been briefed on both scenarios and clearly something wasn't quite right with this one because it's not the normal protocol you might say and so obviously there's been a lot of behind the scenes diplomatic to try and find out exactly what did happen and he's taking a work out of the taking of you but he is leaving his options open because if other evidence does come to light and there's been a lot of new evidence being released lately then of course he has the facility in
