a man who have a lot of respect for a man who's been extremely nice to me were happy that i did the whole thing with jerusalem and the embassy which by the way we got open in four months. for less than five hundred thousand dollars and the budget was over a billion dollars right there so we saved let's say a billion dollars that's that's a bit and it's open and it's beautiful by the way jerusalem stone one of my favorite stones. i will tell you the question somebody said today well this is the first news conference in a long time i said what you mean i did like five today every time i sit i take a lot of questions from people that are screaming like maniacs in the back of the room meaning reporters and one of the reporters i want to say that it was john roberts that said that i received but one of the it was but that's ok don't feel guilty but one of the reporters that was screaming asked about the one state to state and i said i think the two state will happen i think it's in one way

more difficult because it's a real estate deal because you need meets and bounds and you need lots of carve outs and lots of everything it's actually a little tougher deal but another way it works better because you have people governing themselves so they asked me about that i said well i think the two state will happen i think we're going to go down the two state road and i'm glad i got it out and jared who is so involved he loves israel he loves israel but he's also going to be very fair with the palestinians he understands it takes two people to be happy to groups of people to be happy everybody's got to be happy and that's why it's so tough because there's been so much hatred and anger for so many years that's what probably the number one ingredient of tough this is but they asked me i said i think it's going to be tuesday and you know what i did today by saying that i put it out there. and if you ask most of the people in israel they agree with

that but nobody wanted to say it it's a big thing to put it out it's a very big thing to put it out now bottom line. if the israelis and the palestinians want one state that's ok with me if they want two states that's ok with me i'm happy if they're happy i'm a facilitator i want to see if i can get a deal done so that people don't get killed any more when we had in saudi arabia we had one of the great conferences in history many of you were there probably all of you with their one of the most beautiful two days that in china two of the most incredible events i've ever seen i've never seen anything like it and we had i believe fifty eight muslim countries the leaders to the kings the me years the the absolute leaders from every there was nobody in second place they were the leaders the leaders of the whole thing and unbeknownst to anybody else people would come up

to me individual wasn't a set up they'd come up to me and say sir you can't have peace in the middle east without peace between the israelis and the palestinians i said why what difference why does that matter so much they said it just is impossible to make peace in the middle east or less you have between the israelis so i heard that from one the king of saudi arabia was a great guy king solomon and then somebody else came up and he wasn't told or go up and say it i know where they're coming from and i must have had twelve leaders say it. and they just said and i started to realize that peace between israel and the palestinians for the middle east is a very important thing and we're trying very hard to get it i think probably two state is more likely but you know what if they do a single if they do a double i'm ok with it if they're both happy if they're both happy i'm ok with

position that are in the oval office another way of saying it allowed them to get away with murder allowed a lot of countries to get away with murder. i think we still probably have a very good relationship but you know what in honor of you i will tomorrow make a call to him say hey how you doing ok can i you know minor and billions of dollars a month i just send terror to small follow ups one is how would you compare the level of interference you see today from the chinese to what russia did in two thousand and sixteen well i think it's different. if you look at the des moines register they have ads that are made to look like editorials saying about oh you've got to stop trump you've got to stop him you've got to vote against him i farmers are so great these are patriots you know on a network that doesn't like me very much which is most of them but a network that didn't. doesn't really treat me very good they interviewed farmers.

and they got hurt because you know all of a sudden china steps by the way they've started buying again i don't know if you have noticed and soybeans are going up and things are going up and we've had very little hurt from what i've done in fact the markets have gone up and the farmers are going to do great but ultimately but they had farmers and these guys are amazing i love them and they voted for me and they love me and they said we don't care if we get hurt he's doing the right thing and you know a lot of people it's a complex game a lot of people don't know exactly what it is they don't know how to define tariff they don't know it is really different than a tax although it's getting close. but they know that for the first time in many many years they have a president that's fighting for them that's not letting their jobs be taken to other countries that's not allowing the kind of abuse that we i mean when you look

at what happened as an example with nafta and for years because it was never changed nafta was a defective deal that it was signed you know why because they had a vat tax of seventeen percent and nobody from this country knew that and by the time they found out which was about a week later nobody went in changed it so you went many years and they never changed it there was a vat tax that mexico got so we were seventeen or sixteen points behind before we even started now after was a horrible thing so the farmers and by the way the steel workers you know i stopped the dumping the dumping was horrible and now they want to dump that's ok but they've got to pay the united states of america twenty five percent on everything they dump that's ok but as i told you before steel is doing phenomenally well but the farmers say. this man's fighting force no president says if a fought for us before and you really have to study what's happened over the

a very dangerous period in our country. and it's being perpetrated by some very evil people some of them are democrats i must say because some of them know that this is just a game that they're playing it's a con game it's at the highest level we're talking about the united states supreme court this can go on forever i can pick five other people at a certain point people to say no thank you this is the most coveted job probably in the world and you know what i would honestly say because i interviewed great people for this year he's great but i interviewed other great people for this show i could conceivably imagine going to one of them and saying it's too bad what happened to this wonderful man but i'm going to choose you number two

i want you to go and i could conceivably be turned down by somebody that desperately wanted this. two months ago so this is that this is and this is beyond supreme court there's nothing be a supreme court this is beyond supreme court. this is everything to do with our country when you are guilty. until proven innocent it's just not supposed to be that way. always i heard you're innocent until proven guilty i've heard this for so long and it's such a beautiful for us. in this case you're guilty. until proven innocent i think that is a very very dangerous standard for a country with that being said i look forward to what she has to say i also look very forward to what judge karen has to say i think it's going to be

opportunity to leave the so-called and when you know the deal hours and it seems that instead of trying to diplomatically convince other countries which by the way this time were represented in many have a neck case. as palestine israel shall we start with what it was dominated by i think the cap in the case what did you make of that . that's the story that is dominating the u.s. said lines and it will continue to do so throughout the week through the weekend so this is a big domestic story that the u.s. media love and they will devour every single aspect in nuance and detail of the story and exhaust it like they love their legal cases in the united states because . does give the media

a little bit like in some ways that they don't actually have to cover any of the really important things that are going on in the world but it's it's going to to end up into a political circus as most of these do it's a kind of a tradition in america for these sort of situation yeah i mean if he had a lot of a couple scandals salacious yeah he had to fend off a lot of questions about it then and there he did talk about the politicize sation all that particular case didn't. yeah it's completely politicized i don't think anybody can really argue with that and it would go the same way with the kind of star hearings with bill clinton that was a hugely politicized as well who knows what the true that is to any of these alec allegations certainly there should be a presumption of. innocence till proven guilty but this is and doesn't mean to do

with. the fight is going on for power in washington yeah and just our connections not great patrick so we hope that it holds up here ok so let's move on shall we there wasn't a huge amount of focus on iran which is surprising really considering. he he did dish out a tirade of stuff on iran didn't he at the u.n. general assembly the security meeting but washington's u.n. envoy nikki haley attacked the foreign policy chief earlier of the blocks decision to circumvent u.s. sanctions on iran she said the ego and pride was behind the move why do you think he decided to criticize this and do you think it's because she was trying to. she was involved in negotiations it was a very personal attack wasn't it. yes yes it was.

i think a lack of community. between no i think the investor healey state department and the white house on some of the sort of finer details of the policy but at the end of the day the break what's important is that the u.s. is breaking from the p five plus one so they're sort of making a concerted effort to go the room way and if you really look at this small print in the talking points it seems to me and many others that washington on iran is getting their talking points in a look to a large part from from israel because it doesn't serve any of the interests of any other allies so. if you're part of the problem yeah well one of the things that i found quite interesting about trump is that he he spent an olfa lot of time talking about the good things that he had done as u.s.

president with with north korea and you know his brilliant relationships even mentioned russia didn't study had a great meeting with president putin the two allies and they discussed everything so i suppose the question is is he willing to do that with iran do you think is that on the cards despite the five things you such strong rhetoric we're seeing a pattern here only. if you listen very closely when somebody says address the president trump gave he said he talked about economic pressure on iran and he said i quote or will follow end of quote it's around the middle of his thirty six minute speech so i don't think a lot of people paid much attention to that but certainly i did and so i need a chance of any kind of a sane dialogue between the united states and iran given the sort of people who are running foreign policy right now and while watching to and and given the amount of pressure that israel is also putting on on this president on the white house and

certainly they want to do a deal he said it's jared cushion want to do it a two state solution deal they'll try that deal but that there's going to be a quid pro quo israel's expecting them to press are going to iran and israel will maybe give some concessions on palestine or and say they will to washington there's a lot of that going there. i'm sure in the scenes but all the accusations that donald trump made against iran are pretty much chapter and verse patently false or if you really drill down off on all of the charges whether it's funding terrorism.
