messages across but this wasn't really what we journalists expected because we thought a proper summit was going to happen. but didn't happen because of the cancellations and some people say that there would have been many more things for us journalists to digest if it wasn't for these cancellations because there was something else donald trump canceled right well that is the thing that first of all you're right i'm glad that you got to have a press conference because we as a part of the white house press call did not ours was canceled a few hours before granted it was for the name because we just lost our our beloved president george h. bush so i understand i respect that however there's a lot of questions there's actually more questions coming out the g twenty summit from the american perspective than we had going in and i think some of the interactions is what actually has a lot of us more curious about what happened in the behind the scenes more informal meetings now president on his way and just an hour before announce that he was going to have the meeting then i don't know who was sitting by him by the. the

plane or what he read or what he saw on television but the next thing we know the entire world including the russian delegation found out the president trump was canceling the meeting what i did find interesting and from the russian press conference a was president putin did point out that he explained what is actually going on within the current strait something that all of us who actually study it and besides just taking verbatim for what our advisors might tell us would do and i think it was interesting i'd be really interested to see the reaction the president might have had to because his normal perspective is that let a country take care of itself don't get involved unless on his perspective it's his advisors you say that stepped in and used to cause a little bit more of the drama but in the american perspective we have more questions coming out of it is very little information it's not just because we're not in our native tongue and in here in what is theirs but from our perspective we want to know going forward how is the relationship going to be with russia this was something the president tried to tease over and over again he always said there was one thing to invite president putin to the white house maybe that's what he was
