the much anticipated. report into a russian collusion is finally released it concludes that was interference from russia but no collusion. and they're having a good day i'm having a good day q. no collusion no obstruction. as his legal team celebrates the democrats demand testified to the counter intelligence investigation. and in the news described as a historic and moral duty by the greek lawmakers in athens. demanding. reparations.
3:01 pm
watching all to international law from all the studio in moscow with me and welcome to the program off to a two year investigation the four hundred page plus and have the redacted in the report on russia collusion is finally in the public domain and we're going to cross live. in new york now kaleb plenty of anticipation leading up to the release has it lived up to expectations in the us. well it's well over four hundred pages that we have from the robert muller report and if you look over at the conclusion seems to be pretty clear we heard from william barr the attorney general of the united states and he concluded that it seems to pretty
3:02 pm
clearly conclude that there was no collusion there was no collusion between the u.s. between u.s. president donald trump and russia during the elections let's take a listen so that's the bottom line after nearly two years of investigation thousands of subpoenas hundreds of warrants and witness interviews the special counsel confirmed that the russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the two thousand and sixteen presidential election but did not find that the trump campaign or other americans colluded in those efforts now trump has given comments indicating that this seems to be a good day for him this is donald trump reacting to the release of the bob muller report any second and then having a good day i'm having a good day to who's called. no collusion no obstruction. now democratic leaders are taking a look at the report and seeing something quite different they are saying that the
3:03 pm
report shows that some obstruction may have taken place and they now want to hold the president accountable there are calls now for testimony from robert muller two congressional committees about the report itself and this is been the reaction of democratic leaders in congress as we continue to review the report one thing is clear attorney general barr presented a conclusion that the president did not obstruct justice well miller's report appears to undercut that finding. even it is in complete form the report outlines disturbing evidence that president trumping gaijin obstruction of justice and other misconduct now at this point we see in the report arguments from robert muller laying out why i converse legally has the ability to investigate the president the united states in the case that he has broken laws are engaged in obstruction now top democrats at this point are calling for bob mueller to testify before
3:04 pm
congressional committees about his report now the house judiciary committee has requested that special counsel robert mueller appear before them before may twenty third we have also heard that the house intelligence committee is also calling for bob mueller to testify before them regarding a counter intelligence investigation that they will be launching so at the moment we have trump coming forward and saying no collusion we have the u.s. attorney general coming forward and saying no collusion but democrats are saying that the report opens some questions that they want to look into so it appears that talk about russia will continue despite the fact that we now have the four hundred page report from robert mueller and the attorney general saying that it pretty clearly shows what trump has said from the beginning that being that there was no collusion between trump and russia during the twenty sixteen presidential campaign . and that reporting from new york. and then the i spoke to senior correspondent on the details of the much anticipated supports. the report itself i
3:05 pm
mean we heard about four hundred pages let me show you what those four hundred pages many of them look like this is it's almost modern art this is how much was redacted from the report and you can goof pages and pages with nothing legible really there's so much redacted in this report that it is honestly very difficult to get a picture of what they were saying at certain points for example they seem convinced that there was russian meddling yet they say no collusion. the russian government interfered in the twenty sixteen presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion evidence of russian government operations began to surface in mi twenty sixteen in june the democratic national committee on its cyber response team publicly announced that russian hackers had compromised its computer network releases of materials hacks not public reporting soon attribute it to the russian
3:06 pm
government began that same month additional releases followed in july through the organization wiki leaks with further releases in october and november the investigation did not establish that members of the true campaign conspired all coordinated with the russian government in its election interference activities now the report makes many accusations many allegations about russian hacking it describes our russian military intelligence units and troll companies troll firms factories meddled in the election the problem is i went through the report the first sections detailing russian hacking there's almost no proof no evidence this is incredibly light on details and technical aspects pacific's it's just very very general the russians did this russian the russians did this take us at our word there's also contradictory information at certain points they say that two
3:07 pm
aliases that the russians used apparently d.c. leaks at another what the russian military intelligence officers communicated with each other apparently meaning delish over twitter which is very strange to think of this was the russian military intelligence director at the stand up and shout to each other no not in this case. that the russians had all sorts of things nevertheless they also admit that they never actually got their hands physically on the d n c servers that hacked on. and where clinton's emails were leaked from which is very strange they say they got copies later on the f.b.i. is all sorts of little snippets contradictory information that you know is worth picking out but it is impossible because so much is redacted it's page after page that is barely legible and the russian the russians have said largely the same
3:08 pm
thing the kremlin has said statement they looking at the remulla report but they say there's no evidence is no proof there's no sort of information that they can address talk about it's all allegations in suspicion at certain points they say the russian hackers appear to something so even they aren't convinced the russians are saying what they've always said that there was no state sponsored meddling and their hands are clean of this and i had to repeat what i've said several times including in a personal contact the russian state never has and never grew into fear in internal american affairs nevertheless a number of russian companies have been targeted as legal action against them number of individuals as well a dozen military intelligence officers have been indicted. russia boom to give them up. if any way you look at it but. it is an interesting thing as well one
3:09 pm
specific company that there's legal action going against it isn't being told what the proof the evidence against them is because apparently that sensitive information is remarkable situation it's like accusing someone of a crime and then refusing to tell them what they did wrong. and it's especially strange because they're apparently concerned that the russians will find out what the russians did it's very strange but again and might be in the redacted sections that. we haven't seen that the public isn't being shown nevertheless there's a lot to get through and i'm sure they'll be more talked about yeah i mean you know you talked about the confusion so despite the confusion the unanswered questions the redactions it is still a very comprehensive report isn't it was huge twenty five million dollars they spent putting this report together. fifty or f.b.i.
3:10 pm
agents working for two years they looked at more than a million documents financial receipts e-mails invited you know stage two thousand five hundred interviews two thousand and eight hundred subpoenas thirty four indictments it was tremendously huge but they looked at three things one russian meddling which again they were incredibly light on the details they also looked at whether from colluded trump or any of his associates colluded with russia and that they were pretty categorical that there was no collusion something from preserve boasted about and the last thing they looked at is whether trump tried to obstruct justice by firing the former director of the f.b.i. when the investigation. in its infancy but here we've got a little bit of confusion because the report says that they haven't decided either way there's not enough evidence it's all very difficult. trouble stake in this. as
3:11 pm
a victory says that there was no obstruction no collusion the house u.s. house democrat majority the house judiciary committee is now saying that this report condemns trump it says that there was obstruction a promise to look into it nevertheless the report's been the release but i'm sure that there is plenty more drama plenty moodie those to come. straight to jennifer braden international law and human rights attorney jennifer the program now. we'll start with the no collusion conclusion surely not something the democrats wanted to hear what you think the next move is going to be. well i think they've already started their next move in fact they started their next move the first day william barr came out saying it didn't appear miller hadn't found any evidence of collusion they said their next move by want to financial statements and all of his tax returns and getting his taxes making sure all of his finance statements tax returns
3:12 pm
everything else could be in their hands so they can continue to try to find something else wrong with trump i mean and that's it you know we saw within twenty four hours of finding out there was no collusion weeks before this entire reporting came out that their next move was already in play with demanding the tax returns not only that we also saw we seen the arguments and all last night we had chuck schumer saying that well how dare william bar you know come out and speak before we get the report what kind of report would this be after that we're going to start hearing about how the redactions are the way a way to hide the real truth and it's really never going to end despite you know national security concerns and being legally allowed to do redactions that implicate national security issues for the u.s. we're going to continue to see one thing after another with trump but they went immediately from russia collusion to trump taxes trying financial statements and william bars obstruction so i mean the arguments haven't stopped yet they're not going to stop but we do have what seems to be a very conclusive case of absolutely no collusion yeah i mean it doesn't you said
3:13 pm
it doesn't look likely to stall does it and if you look at some of the statements that are made in this report there's one here that says the evidence we have about the presence actions and intent presents difficult issues to prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred the thought is left wide open isn't it. it is it's left wide open i mean a lot of these legal documents will end up being like that and i think on the same view what should be a very simplified statement of there is there was not collusion we have not found evidence that there was any collusion by the trump administration what should be a simple statement really is drawn out to statements like you just said because again this is this is a pretty big deal what we're also going to start seeing as now the republican side is how did this happen if there is no evidence at all of collusion i mean even if there was some evidence they could still conclude that trump's not guilty there is none so now we're going to start looking at then why did this investigation even
3:14 pm
begin i mean was there wrongdoing there was there you know falsification of documents to get pfizer warrants and we're going to start seeing that a lot more from the republicans i think we've seen a little bit of that because there's a lot of embarrassment here we're talking about millions upon millions of dollars of taxpayer dollars of time wasted if things happen for something that legitimately had no basis in fact and any evidence that might have been presented to start this investigation was likely either fraudulent or not based on any kind of evidence or facts so this is a very big deal i'm going to continue to see that so it's not surprising that this molar report would show that some statements seem to be well we can't really find anything there are some you know difficult facts that will keep us from seen this because really it's embarrassing for the united states government to show that there was this is a grievous of a failure of our law enforcement investigative powers yeah i mean there's no tool because jennifer the congress is able to investigate and take action against
3:15 pm
president trump over the obstruction of justice how likely is that it's going to happen. i think it's going to be pretty unlikely but while there is a separation of powers there's a separation of powers between the executive judicial and legislative branches which would legislative being congress the legislative branch is not able to indict they're not able to truly go there they have investigative committees they can bring people in for questioning in terms of anything involving legislation but at the end of the day congress cannot truly enforce the judiciary or the executive branch or the department of justice or the just area itself come against trump and make sure that he's indicted on these of the counts and again even if the obstruction charge was less as clear as the no collusion charge there was still again not enough evidence no evidence found not enough evidence found to show that there was obstruction of justice and so that would have to be again either another
3:16 pm
special counsel or something else but that would again have to be part of the department of justice. to do that or congress having to convince the american people in their constituents that they should get another robert mueller to again open another thing that robert mueller himself did not find enough evidence to indict on. the democrats also demanding that robot testify before the house judiciary committee what exactly do you think they want to hear him say. they're going to try to get out of him likely what was in the redactions are going to try to get out of him anything i would imagine just like most of these congressional testimony that their questions are going to be the democratic questions are going to be so pointed so leading that robert mueller basically isn't going to even have to answer or they're just going to say well isn't it true that you can say this in this what they're going to use that for is just another horse and pony show anything to the show that that there was something there that robert miller found something there because robert mueller used to be the hero of the
3:17 pm
democrats being the one investigating trump and russia collusion and now that it's wrong they're going to paint him as an enemy so they're either going to try to paint him as an enemy or to find anything they can with leading questions and some kind of show just to show the american people that either he's an enemy or he was a friend and was forced by the trump administration to stop this both of which are lies and but they're going to try to save face because right now it's all a saving face game ok dennis i will leave it lots and lots to talk discuss jennifer agreed the international and human rights attorney thank you very much for coming on to the program good to heal views on this thank you. you too. know greece decided to step up its demand for germany to pay world war two reparations to the sum of maybe three hundred billion euros since has long been seeking compensation for the nazi iraqi patients but berlin says the debt has been settled all your correspondent peter all of us has the details. europe could be set
3:18 pm
for the reopening of some painful historical wounds the greek parliament has asked germany for billions of euro for the nazi occupation of the country during world war two the demand for german war reparations is a historical and moral debt for us it will help us build a better future in our relations with germany today therefore we have a duty to give our two peoples the opportunity to close this chapter athens as next step is to send what's known as a verbal note to berlin that will be seen as the starting point for negotiations to kick off from now back in twenty sixteen agreed parliamentary committee put the figure that should pay is reparations it well at least two hundred and ninety billion euro that's as compensation for the deaths of tens of thousands of greeks at the hands of the nazis as well as the extortion of the bank of greece by hitler to finance his war machine however some greeks aren't confident that this appeal
3:19 pm
will lead to anything the germans are of the opinion that it has compensated the issue with the payment of one hundred sixty million dollars marks to the victims and the admission of about four hundred twenty thousand guest workers as far as the german government a constant that payment back in one nine hundred sixty of roughly around two hundred fifty million euro in today's money settled the matter once and for all. we are aware of the great guild the attitude of the federal government is unchanged the question of german reparations is settled legally and politically in the treaty which we unify germany in one thousand nine feet it's no for the reparations were planned but what do the people of the land and athens think should happen next. we have a very very big. responsibility to two world war two but how long
3:20 pm
are generations of generations having to pay for things that they didn't do as a country we have a responsibility to react now they should have come a little bit earlier now would still ate their broke and trying to see where they can get money. to of course we should claim some things not only because many years have passed but because of german intolerance to step do you think we have governments that can claim in a sane i think there is no political will from any government to claim german respirations. germany looks after its own interests what are we looking after one of the darkest periods in european history still echoes today and ideas about what to do when it comes to reparations for wartime atrocities still fairly displaced peter all over r.t. . a group vanity fracking protesters in australia have come up with
3:21 pm
a novel way to get their message across. need to listen. to me i want to. use what we really need this is. killing their country. critics say fracking has a huge impact on the environment including possible earthquakes because of the high pressure used to extract the oil and gas from rock below it also increases the risk of all spills and pollution something that can lead to various health problems
3:22 pm
australia is a northern territory announced a moratorium on fracking back in september twenty sixth but that ban was lifted last year with the government investing over eight million australian dollars which is about six million u.s. dollars to accelerate the development of the industry they say it will create thousands of jobs and help the country's economy however environmentalist graeme sawyer has significant doubts about those claims. bizarre whole range of respect is and that's one of the problems the us additional is really concerned about is that it's the war that could be directly impacted in the short term but this is fracking not only threatens their livelihood and their ability to drink water it also threatens their cultural knowledge and information and their cultural practices but the northern territory government is in pretty bad style that a lot of its economy and so the thinking that might be able to use this is a way to increase activity but the evidence would suggest other was the jobs question is really an interesting one because research at
3:23 pm
a coin shows that for every ten jobs they created us recognize three they lost twenty four jobs that are just receiving the area so there's some really big questions that need to be answered around those things as well as the environmental concerns. in this week's champions league football for my manchester united boss chose a marine you know has been given his breakdown of all the action including on the controversial system you can watch the latest episode on the touchline and if on this channel here's a preview. i've never seen again knock it yeah i do with. shoes off sides.

in the. pool in a consensus. only the via is the controversy i think they got it right i think in the world cup final they got it wrong the view you have should be to take some pressure from the referee in the us to the keys they put in his hands a big decision i look also to the coaching perspective always it possible at a champions league level so many mistakes together in the short in a short period of time so many mistakes come on they cannot feel pressure and that's the level we are speaking about the best players in the world the best clubs in in the world a player that they absolutely love phenomenal eriksson makes a mistake that you would never forget the news live here for play against. in the
