implementing these these body camps they're supposed. prevent these things but it's still the same time the race is evil energy that is just like these guys take out into the streets with them when they put lease is no way no one in a right mind should ever or whatever treat a human being like that but you don't see a human being you see you know a living and breathing punching bag and it's truly tragic i mean and thankfully the you know the viral the social media the all rage over this like you know help everybody jump on me even like le bron and steve kerr of the war the coach of the warriors even so this is ridiculous what happened this kid. when you look at that case and you kind of also touched on it in your in your book you know how social media helped give voice to agents of change that would normally be ignored due to their socioeconomic class so it's crazy because this is

a situation where it could possibly work video is going viral everybody sees it now is putting pressure on politicians in the high ups in the police department to do something about it so big they got a chance to get on top of this before it gets really really really bad it's a good way bad way the bad thing is you know the trauma that comes from seeing your family or friends or yourself having your head rammed against a curve of rest of your life you know is going to be talked about for a long time some people are sharing their video for support and then some people are sharing their likes and their like being exploited because this is what everyone's talking about so it's like it's a double edged sword it can be great and it could not be great one another example is the case of a police officer that williams in baltimore everyone shared a video where he walked up. so a guy made a shot and he literally just starts punching them in his head like they have say

a couple of words back before and i guess maybe like some part of his training he didn't understand and learn that freedom of speech was something that we are supposed to practice yes in this country but you know he was able to get it get fired and have charges pressed against him well you know you you you are an embodiment of the freedom of speech because you know the books that you write in the. social media you express your you know you have someone i think people can look up to for being something truly practices for human speech and i say anything exactly you know if your book also looks into the issues of things like you know proximity to the issues and how many i going to ask you is how many of the most popular leaders and activists they. you know live in the metaphorical gated communities in ivory towers far away from the blight that they rail against. can an activist and a leader lose credibility through success. yes no because it

depends on what they do what they're success so if you get this success you use that success to lift as you climb to elevate other voices elevate other people get resources and support over its causes that you know actually work in the adult on the right if you just elevate yourself why using the stories of the people pushing . higher levels. you know. you just you know that activists you just. you just paper activists you know you're opposed and that's that's what we've been seeing a lot in that a lot of business there is you think there's more of that kind of paper activist than actual people out there with him or trying to change a community so. i'm not the person i'm not a voice i'm not the voice. i've been in a lot of circles which have been some people who do great work they do great work and i know of big name activists who are aware people to do this work but they

don't use that platform to try to elevate that i'm not saying you supposed to jump out and be somebody for i'm just saying that it's like you know there's a space where i think social media has been. has created. given a lot of people who really understand how social media works to create these huge platforms and they talk a lot but like if there's no direct service if there's no action if there's nothing . type of quantifiable goals or examples that we can see that matches that rhetoric then it's just it's just rhetoric you know that's one thing is interesting too is one of those you know when there's raising awareness when is that not enough because it seems like right now everyone's aware like you know everyone's aware right everybody keeps talking to me about microaggression and my people walking up to me and telling me about the privileges they like tackle ministry like hey i know i have privilege as well as you know and i'm like thank you you know. but
