from the information signed the order the museum's director says the vandalism wasn't the reason for the swap but instead they say to recognize changes in society despite this the british marine industry federation says their organization will continue with the centuries long tradition. now referring to but says she dates back to at least the fourteenth century some historians believe say listen femininity with motherhood protection but the struggle to keep up with modern times is sparking heated debate in society we took to the harbor city of portsmouth to get reaction. i disagree actually i think nation day is it all to do it history and things like that i think quite important to keep our history so i think would be a shame i think the boats are beautiful things and therefore they ought to be friendly there for sure. the royal should change you can just see the change for the sake of change i mean if it's historically the bridge. pre-marriage

and the ships and already don't see any particular need to train you personally. because we have a queen and if we have a king then the ship would be what do you think was. carrying. this a spoke with a former submarine captain ryan ramsey who believes generations of sailors will be angered by such a move. it is a safe haven school so many scientists and actually they see that they see that capability because the thing about this is not so much that it's now you know a man or woman but actually some of the ship's name just sees the names of the everything but especially while the ship purple i guess for the site is that it's speciation for a moment and we lose all history and tradition is. in the military. take a break of about with that they sleep in half an hour.

greetings and sally. war is hell so the helicopter door gunner to private joker after shooting innocent vietnamese farmers in stanley kubrick's epic vietnam war film full metal jacket yes my friends war is hell and that hell is the heart of this latest news concerning the prosecution of cheap special warfare operator edward eddie gallagher the navy seal who according to the may be times is accused of committing multiple war crimes including stabbing to death an unarmed and seriously wounded islamic state prisoner of war during a twenty seven thousand deployment to iraq plus shooting an old man and a young girl that violent spree that prosecutors contend might have claimed hundreds of lives in the war zone according to witnesses the islamic state prisoner

was only fifteen years old. but it's not just the bronze medal winning navy seal chief's actions that are coming under fire but the chain of command around him as well you see the new york times is now reporting that according to a confidential navy criminal investigations report seven members of gallagher's platoon who tried to report the murders allegedly being committed by gallagher were told by their troop commander and his senior enlisted aide both long time comrades of the accused platoon leader that speaking out could cost them and others their careers. not to mention the fact that cheap gallagher was also allegedly threatening harm to any teammates that spoke to authorities about his alleged actions warns brown and the retired navy captain military lawyer told the new york times quote the willingness of an institution to turn a blind eye is common it's especially true in warfare communities and in the seals you don't just keep it in the family you keep it in the immediate family. my

friends if war is hell then peace is heaven and silence is purgatory so let's break down the military industrial walls of silence and start watching the hawks. like you that i got. that we. would. welcome everyone watching the hawks i am fire open target joining me today to discuss this wall of silence and the horrors of the military industrial complex wars as the host of the world according to jess the former u.d.t. c.e.o. and governor of minnesota jesse ventura always a pleasure having you on. thank you tyrrel i'll state this this isn't an
2:35 pm
easy show for me to do today because after all they're talking about my military unit and what i was when i was in the united states navy and that makes it difficult to talk about it many ways i'm sure it is and it's a difficult story to read too because these are the best of the best and you hate to see if you know if this is all true you hate to see these kind of actions being perpetrated by our men in uniform you know as as you said as a member of the seal team was there a code of silence that. this did in the teams and the arm forces as a whole when you served in the vietnam era and and should soldiers be covering up lying or staying silent to protect their own even when it comes to potential war crimes or crimes against humanity. well it's something that each and every soldier sailor marine airman would have to judge for themselves because it falls to
2:36 pm
me under something that's called honor and the only way you have honor is to tell the truth a liar does not have honor so all timidly anyone involved in let me state i know nothing about all this i know only what i've read lately i wasn't there so i don't want to judge who's telling the truth and who's not but it comes down to honor and that means that night you got to go home and look in the mirror and you have to know did i tell the truth did i have the honor much like the great movie with cuba gooding and robert deniro men of honor about carl bushehr the black diver navy hard had divert the same thing honor and it comes down to that in situations like this. are you going to be honorable and tell the truth are you going to be dishonorable and why you know it's interesting because it feels like we've seen a lot of accusations in recent years
2:37 pm
a really horrific accusations come out of these crimes of some very much proven to be true where you know you see soldiers like gallagher or even chris kyle and you hear these stories of you know sniping women and children indiscriminately in this case gallagher alleged you know allegedly stabbed a p.o.w. a prisoner awarded death he was fifteen you have to wonder why our military you know is producing or at least attracting individuals who many would say are committing psychopathic acts why are we seeing that. well it's a perfect place for a social path to go i mean if you if you're a sociopath going into that type of work i would judge could be a perfect thing for you you'd really enjoy it the thing to remember i face this because in my thing with chris kyle the american sniper he wrote a lot about me and that it required his platoon to come up and attempt to testify in court and they were dishonorable because they knew it didn't happen but they
2:38 pm
tried to create a scenario where it might of backing their body and so i the vietnam veteran was thrown under the bus and it went further than that even one hundred seventy u.d.t. seal members wanted me thrown out of the u.d.t. seal association i have done nothing i was merely trying to clear my game but that's the way it lined up even against me so they will devour their own the dishonorable ones and i hate to say it but many many seals are so on rebel you can't find better but in any group that size that's put under that type of thing there are going to be dishonorable ones too it's interesting too because in march. the one and only president trump commented on the gallagher case tweeting in honor of his past service to our country navy seal eddie gallagher will soon be moved to a less restrictive confinement while he awaits his day in court process should move
2:39 pm
quickly now gallagher is facing alleged crimes of murder and premeditated murder those are the charges the spacing and you know should the president be getting involved in cases like this tweeting about them or you know saying all we need you know to loosen his pretrial confinement and things of that nature. no i don't believe so i think that you have to let it you have to let the system run its course he will have his day in court that's why it's all coming to light now and you don't need a president talking about the case go back and look what happened fifty years ago when charles manson was on trial and president nixon came out and said he was guilty it almost caused a mistrial because there was a headline in every paper paper in america how could man some men get a fair trial when the president already deemed him guilty when they hadn't been convicted yet so things of people making comments before it happens should not be
2:40 pm
happening let the day in court happen and the president should not be weighing in on nothing because he doesn't know anything after all here's a guy who couldn't even make it through one day a boot camp very true very true of them bone spurs are hard to get over but you know playing golf i guess gets rid of them. no nothing nothing gets rid of them and i'd like to see the bone spurs otherwise you committed a felony exactly exactly you know it's interesting part of a lot of this i think gets back to that idea of why you know the wars that we are fighting and i think when when you're fighting unjust wars you unjust acts are going to happen to me like a sub war is how why do we have such a hard time with the count. betty in this country when we're when you know criminals wear white collars or criminals wear uniform it's hard to get accountability when you when you see that over and over again. well because take a look at the ads on t.v.
2:41 pm
now where they're asking for warriors to come forward they make it look they make war look like an exciting video game and that you want to take part in it because you're going to go running around i mean i think in these ads on t.v. right now to try to get people to join the military are so pro-war it's horrifying to look at these ads and believe me you know i've been around now for sixty seven and a half years and in my lifetime we haven't fought a just war yet i wasn't alive during world war two but all the war sense them were colonial wars they were wars for oil they were war like give you the example right now what happened in sri lanka right these bombs going off why won't they take it to its core isis would not exist if bush and cheney had not invaded iraq overturned the government had no plan of what they were going to do there and
2:42 pm
that caused the bath party and saddam's military to create isis we are the creators of isis and then we cry when they do something the hypotheses amazing it really is because we never take account of the blowback that we see from this kind of war machine that we live under. you know what what do you feel desert is the best way for us to stop this is it does it come from voting in people who are going to be against this or what is the best way for people to buy back against this kind of unrestrained war machine. well i think the best way yes is voting but you can't vote for a democrat either because they're onboard with it to notice that nobody votes against the department of defense bill when it comes up they could raise it how many billions of dollars more and everybody is right on board pretty well passes with no trouble at all until we start leaving this war culture as a society in america we start reading history people read about the romans
2:43 pm
they got a ball watching football games like the super bowl while they conducted war throughout the world it was the recipe for disaster everybody tonight's going to turn into the n.f.l. draft and they are going to worry about nothing happening in the world good point jesse always a pleasure having you on thank you so much for coming on and talking about this very sensitive subject matter and will see what happens with this case as it moves forward always a pleasure. thank you so as we go to break cork watchers don't forget to let us know what we think of the topics we've covered on facebook twitter and you tube. dot com coming up we delve into the latest developments regarding the ongoing political crisis. and then conservative commentator steve malzberg joins me to discuss the latest political politics going on washington d.c. to stay true to.
2:44 pm
that you run a blood bank. in one room are dead patients they've been dead since two thousand and eight j.p. morgan goldman sachs deutsche bank b.n.p. societies generali just b. c. etc and in the other room you have living middle class people and the point of blood bank is to take blood from the living middle class people and to transfuse blood to the dead banks next door as if they've been dead now for more than ten years the people that are in the middle class are going to start to suffer and suffer horribly and many of them will die by the way they won't be getting any of the blood from the other middle class people to keep them alive all the blood all the plasma goes to the dead.
2:45 pm
watchers of the fight over the future of the political soul but his way was found its way onto the streets of washington d.c. once again this time with the by the way one embassy here in the district where. dedicated group of protesters of essentially taken up occupants of the embassy since april tenth when the last of venezuelan president nicolas maduro diplomats left calling themselves the embassy protection collective and organized through activists organizations code pink and popular resistance the occupiers are there hoping to prevent diplomats representing the u.s. backed self-proclaimed president of venezuela one weibo from taking over the embassy meanwhile one of the architects of the current u.s. policy of regime change in venezuela president from special envoy to the south
2:46 pm
american country elliott abrams spoke to our good friends at the atlantic council on thursday outlining the conditions for a post in the girl by his way of joining me now to discuss is r t america course one of the show greenstein and watching the hawks oceanview producer devin springer thank you both for coming on. devon i want to start why didn't. i doze people immediately move into the embassy like the day that my like the moment but there are those people left why didn't those diplomats what i was people just run in and take over well it's a really good question because if you call last month they did take over three diplomatic properties between d.c. and new york which that itself could be considered sort of breaking international law in itself but essentially outlined in the vienna convention on diplomatic relations is that embassies and diplomatic properties are essentially off limits meaning that in times of war or really year round that the u.s. has the u.s.
2:47 pm
or whatever state the embassy is and has a protect it in the vienna convention they even said quote the premises of the mission shall be in by a liberal and the agents of the receiving state may not enter them with the consent of the head of the mission mission being another word for embassy use and technical terms so essentially by the u.s. appointed regime change the leaders entering into it without the permission of this whaling government a legitimate vessel a government of the duro then they're breaking international. now if you recall the their own government has been recognized by the un as one of the african union and several other countries around the world so they probably haven't already done the full force easing of the embassy because they know it would be just a very brazen breaking of international law at the end of the day too especially for what they're trying to do you know michel you were there at the embassy on wednesday talking to the activists or essentially occupying it i think the first question most people have is do they have to do the activist while they are in
2:48 pm
support of the bureau and his government and keeping the status quo there or do they have permission from the government to be there and what are they planning to do when why those people arrive because essentially you know they're going to show up right so firstly yes they do they're there with the permission of the venezuelan government the diplomatic staff from that embassy we're giving these organizers that are occupying this building key cars to move in and out freely so they're not breaking any laws on the other hand if u.s. law enforcement is to enter these premises without the permission of the venezuelan government like you said they would be in violation of international law because that's been as well as sovereign territory to your second question they're there for the long haul they say they're there to stay as long as it takes to defend venezuela sovereignty they don't want this could move forward they see this as an illegal takeover this embassy takeover both under venezuelan law and under international law and i did speak with a number of these organizers yesterday so i brought you some footage of that let's
2:49 pm
listen to what they had to say. inside the embassy we're very tranquil we have a very wonderful collective that works really well together and we are prepared if they come tomorrow that many of us will not. leave we will risk being arrested we do see this is a very important stand i don't has failed in venezuela propping up his united states and what they can do outside of venezuela. and when they do outside. make it make this dress this government up and give it an embassy. and so given this building to why dose is a hope to build momentum for a failed coup i'm extremely worried that if the us gives this embassy to the opposition people that this will set a bad precedent the united states has attempted a coup failed president maduro is still in power he still executing his duties as president of venezuela but the u.s. seems to be pretending that that never happened that they succeeded and you know
2:50 pm
giving assets including the embassies to the opposition so what does this say that entries next. fascinating fascinating voices there doesn't so our good buddy ellaby abrams elliott abrams spoke today or thursday at the atlantic council what is what is the u.s. deciding will be the future of venezuela what it what is the u.s. decided is the future of islam does. a country that's a good question i mean certainly a friend of many i guess you could say but listening to him speak today it really felt like the ramblings of a man trying to recover a failed coup and that's the best way to describe it is sort of say i'm falling into the u.s. his hands at this point from the sounds of it he's spoken a lot of coded language but they're simply saying there's either going to be sort of a rationing up of military options or just the continued sort of economic strength of in a state with the u.s. sanctions now one thing i found very interesting is that he said it will get worse
2:51 pm
before it gets better and he said this in conversation when he was talking about sort of deposing of my daughter oh so. that's like very cryptic and almost scary to me if i was of in a swale and but the real highlight of the story and to me was more interesting than than his ramblings were that activists shut down the event activists from code pink came in they had signs and they actually sort of tried to stop and shut down the event so it shows there is pushback against this this show of us. militarism in venezuela you can see the footage on the screen right now and to me that's actually it's sort of now sweeping the headlines about this story and that's really fascinating it is very fascinating seeing the ins and outs of all of this michel i know you have something to from your time and then we'll see on monday yeah i think just to add to what you're saying of the organizers and activists that we're talking about now a lot of whom i spoke to yesterday they all see this as the latest chapter in a very long history of the u.s. government destabilizing and attempting coups and sometimes successfully
2:52 pm
overthrowing governments so they don't just see this as a problem but the trump administration they see this as a very longstanding m.o. of destabilizing countries making them suffer like elliott abrams you know says outwardly these days making the economy scream with the ultimate goal of removing any governments that don't cave to our interests in a very fascinating while i want to thank you both for your work on this today looking into this show and thank you springer thank you so much for coming on today . but my friends it's not just venezuela fighting against regime change here in the united states the trumpet ministration is fighting back against congressional democrats who are looking for a little regime change here in the united states whether by the ballot box or even through impeachment house democrats are investigating everything from white house security clearances to trump's tax returns to the obstruction of the nonexistent crimes of russia gave the butler report showed us you name it and they probably have a committee hearing for it and this week president trump announced to all reporters that he is fighting all subpoenas and what that and what if impeachment was sounded
2:53 pm
by the democrats and that if it was not about their rights he could be he would turn to the supreme court even though realistically the supreme court has no. jurisdiction over impeachment proceedings and that's congress's job joining me now to bring us the conservative side of things is radio television commentator steve malls burge steve thank you so much for going to your so steve right now the gallup poll show approval ratings for the u.s. congress both you know left and right around twenty percent. which is usually the toilet but congress is in trump's approval rating has pretty much hovered around forty percent for his entire term. they are split on impeachment right now but is that going to help anyone at this point the democrats went forward with it would help i think i think it motivated based if they need motivation by by then it certainly would galvanize the republicans and i think independents and people who have other concerns and i think most of america does have other concerns at this point since the ball the report didn't lead to any direct indictments or
2:54 pm
criminality i think they'll say oh please enough already and they'll never get a conviction in the senate so they'll just be spinning their wheels say we impeached him and who is that going to please and by the time that even process even gets finished probably the end of the election for addison anywhere was that they start this late yeah we've got to just move on and just if they want to mouth vote him out and that's what people like the low c.n.n. boyer and the rest of them with kind of more common sense politically speaking that's what they're saying. here's an interesting thing when it comes to the tax returns if trump is the shining leader that he says he is and claims to be why shouldn't he released his tax returns and then given the excuse that always being audited and all that the president should be open about that. we should be able to see a president's tax returns because that's how you know if they are having on the on to influence on them they owe money to things of that nature well i mean ok but it's not like he wasn't elected saying you're not going to see my tax returns or
2:55 pm
i'm not showing you my tax returns the american public knew this going in and they elected him and you know the other presidents have done it other candidates have done it they've done it willingly they've done it voluntarily he has bucked the trend on almost everything you could think of and he said during the campaign to hillary's face to everybody's face i'm not doing it anyone so why should he do it well i would make the argument that you should do it just. hey you know what i'm above board at this point and. i agree but i think at this point whether this is a case or not i doubt he has anything to hide but let's say he did at this point he could claim no you're not getting it because look what you're doing to me you know what i mean he could measure it all up in this whole. nonsense but now here's another subpoena another indictment another ordered so that's to his advantage against overreaching by the democrats that they had stuck to this instead of saying we want to subpoena every bank you ever did business with this every year sons you don't do that now it's all
2:56 pm
a mishmash and he could say enough going to the democrat side of things obviously thursday you know joe biden for vice president joe biden i. want to have a strong now on the matter then we still have a little what under a year maybe a year before the primary really starts really care of. the democrats is going to burn themselves out by that that seems like by now everyone's going to be sick of them by the time we get to the actual primary you know i can't wait to see the debates i know when there were like fifteen do republicans they had to two years you know now you might have to have three separate debates on the same night with three separate stand of the stage is going to be crazy i don't know about burning themselves out but i know that they're promising things like so many of them said yes and the someone as cory booker and a couple of others we commit to putting a woman on the ticket yeah ok out to the other one the good the mayor he says i'm all more interested in a person of color so like you know i've got all these boxes checked next to all these names just like those who eventually you to whittle down when they start
2:57 pm
getting one percent in the primaries they're gone so it'll it'll put all down who do you think is going to it's going to whittle down to. the early to the only one with a real legitimate chance i think to give trump the best run but i don't know if the radical left of the democratic party notwithstanding the fact that biden is in the lead now will elect him is anyone going to do think anyone's going to jump in and challenge from the sitting president. governor weld and all that but. you know it's winner take all in the republican primaries and there's absolutely no danger that trump will be defeated but steve i want to say always a pleasure having you on so my pleasure thank you. sometimes you see things you can see hawk watchers and sometimes you see things you just can't really explain and then sometimes you see things like this picture revealed on twitter by me lip one to the caption name one thing in this photo after that trip thousands of retreats and commentators folks were stumped and creeped out what one answer comes from
2:58 pm
jenelle shane an electrical engineer researcher told live science that the viral picture that you saw earlier was more than likely created by artificial intelligence these are the pictures that artificial intelligence creates you're seeing them how yes artificial intelligence created pictures is now a paying so much so that just last december an ai created painting auction at christie's for over four hundred thousand dollars wow and it's really creeping me out even looking out i'm now. not only is the winner auction dollars but they're also scaring the hell out of us with one creepy cat picture at a time you've got to check out these ai produced pictures literally an artificial intelligence motion pictures truly a first and truly weird that is our show for you today remember everyone in this world we are now told that we are loved and up so i tell you all i love i robot into keep on watching all those hawks out there and i'm a great day and night everybody.
2:59 pm
so the government just creates a diplomat film against this dialogue because that does not allow any compromise and then platform talks about the serbian crimes how serbia should play war iterations. being in the states simply things that and. this thing is already over when they wake up from their lucian's they will have to face a cerebral reality for.
