how many quarrels clashes and conflicts can even a superpower manage at once and is it not time for the united states preoccupied with so many crises to begin asking why is this our problem john this that this administration this white house seems to think that it is god ordained that they must solve these problems oh by the way problems that they've created themselves what's going on here go ahead jim. well i think this idea that. the superpower is responsible for every country in the world is obviously ridiculous but it's even more ridiculous in view of the fact that trump under trump has indeed under a 100 minutes other administrations but under trump these various attempts to as it were solve problems have failed we've seen the failure only last week as well or where of course the americans wanted to have a military coup and effect room to regime change by a coup which they would have supported if it had succeeded but it didn't succeed

and this failure to effect regime change in venezuela comes on the heels of other faith as where the wizards of oz in washington have similarly not managed to achieve the outcome that they wanted the most obvious other examples being syria where of course regime change was the initial goal but where that goal has now been abandoned some time ago and more recently ukraine where their candidate for regime change in 2014 was as we all know roundly beat in the elections by a joker and this shows that this determination to run the affairs of the world is in direct proportion to the inability to do it and so we're in this crazy situation where people keep on thinking that they can manage the world but keep failing to do it and you know i remember once in 2004 in iran a very intelligent iranian minister saying to me america creates new scandals and

new crises in order to cover up the existing ones exact that i think is a very perceptive of american foreign policy you know let me turn to deem we haven't mentioned iran here i mean if you look at the administration's policy one would get the impression that they're talking themselves into a conflict here and it is so patently obvious to me the only difference maybe between this in 2000. 3 is that they're just getting more sloppy and more arrogant well it's true and just how quickly it all changes you know in 2003 you remember for 2 years they were raided the troops you know heating up tensions now i just love that another article by a pair buchanan in the american conservative boat on this war we suppose sounded more like battle cries and the beginning of the article. last week it was in america's gun sights but by sunday night it was iran that was in our crosshairs we

a deep level which you don't and trump does believe a number of the things which the neo cons believe in particular he believes in the necessity of absolute domination of the international system by the united states of america he believes that very strongly and the other thing that he should there's in common with the neo cons and this again is a major problem for the world is a very deep attachment to the military industrial complex whose profit since he wants to increase when he talks about deficits with germany and ponying up 2 percent in nato and so on what he means is buy american buy american american weapons means american jobs so he is hand in glove with the military industrial complex in exactly the same way as the neo cons are and so all the hopes that people like you and me may have had that he would somehow diverge from the neo cons i think have founded on these 2 major convictions which are genuine beliefs by donald trump then any old team or trump may rue the day that he did he doesn't keep
