what would be expressed he's disagreement with america's demand to include china a new nuclear pact tough to draw in from the i.n.f. treaty china issue was a monkey reasons behind america's decision or so used to show you the loose russia in the us remain the biggest nuclear powers in the world but if we include china in the negotiations why just china let's include from the u.k. then and other countries which are officially acknowledged as nucular states but which aren't keeping their real nuclear states a secret but just as break some that takes place in bass part of the globe obviously there was a question about a series of violent protests that show several countries here in south america and as well as chile and just recently believe it i believe it by the way is among the biggest challenges for brics countries and a big dividing force as their positions on what's going on there and resignation

all the newly elected president there different dramatically with some saying it is a legitimate democratic process or not there is including russia calling it a coup d'etat like reporting said that the biggest danger in such situations is chaos. can you imagine there's no real leadership in the country everyone has given up power it reminds me of the situation in libya even though there's been no direct foreign military intrusion but the country is on the verge of chaos it's a worrying sign it was a rare chance for russian journalists because they were allowed to ask any question and open. the conversation went far beyond bricks summit speaking about syria vladimir putin has praised the success on the ground thanking russia turkey tourists fishel damascus for that but also emphasizing the role of america in countering terrorism in syria. will start to fall but if talking about washington's

contribution in fighting terrorists in syria we should admit they have contributed however the so-called international coalition didn't do much until russia moved into syria but in terms of the operation led by donald trump the u.s. has contributed to the joint effort aimed at defeating the terrorists even though every independent observer could see the role of rusher in that taking into account our operations and their results journalists also wanted to know when white men put in to meet donald trump the russian president said that the american leader is invited to take part in celebrations next year in more scale related to 70 steve's anniversary of the victory in world war 2 and the meeting potentially can happen there. bolivia has been hit by a fresh round of violent protests and this time from the supporters of former president evo morales he has resigned after days of rallies demanding his departure his supporters however are now on the streets calling for the new government to

bring him back. as long as you are in the couch next to the government residence tear gas was used against protesters demanding the immediate resignation of the government bill should remember the expulsion of congressmen so come on show from the country you can see the grass crown behind me this seems to be an endless story judging by what is happening now the army is also next to the police including tanks that support them. even the rawest fled to mexico along with many of his party members he stepped down on monday all the week the violence triggered by claims that last month's election victory was rigged morales has described the events as a coup and violence looting and vandalism followed and some of his supporters now say they're fearing for their lives are not i don't like that they have carried out

a critic of her socialist predecessor more alice who was forced to resign several days ago after the army dropped its support she evoked the constitution to justify getting the top job and is called for new elections but i guess herself wasn't actually elected she was just next in line after the president vice president and head of the senate all relinquish their posts even the legislature itself didn't really elect her because morales supporters boycotted that session now the real people who put her in power there are a colorful bunch. meet mr camacho he was part of a gang that wasted little time ransacking morales is former home. but these trespassers weren't just a bunch of thieves they were searching for a more spiritual experience here's camacho and his buddies praying with

a bible after breaking into the house one of their supporters praised it as christ's return to the bolivian government the bible is returning to the government powerless never again will the touching moment go to this return today christ is returning to the government powerless to live is for christ but you don't see that 2nd coming but then again come on shows long had a unique take on the lord's work he spent years leading a religious fundamentalist organization called the santa cruz youth union aside from its reputation for p.t. it's also a purveyor of right wing ideology how far to the right well it doesn't get much farther than this when you. get. a sizable number of the oppositions activists may be a bit unhinged but it's the political arm that is far more presentable carlos mesa was president before moralists and lost another election to him in october the

a classic you know media manipulation situation the chance you know wrote about meaning their true concern where you know our courses mean the us is our allies when they take power we playing with democratic even if it may be a right when dictatorship we claim that morale was undemocratic even though he had been elected a number of times democratically but again those who we are poles require undemocratic in those who are we are supporting freedom and democracy even if their star. tragedy struck in russia's far east on thursday morning a college shooting left one person dead and 3 others injured a security guard on duty at the time has been arrested on suspicion of negligence and 19 year old student smuggled a gun into a construction college where he was studying this is the classroom where the

tragedy unfolded investigators are still working at the scene the attacker who is described as calm and quiet for the teacher out of the room before opening fire on his classmates he then turned the gun on himself here is what witnesses told us shortly after the incident. 5 of us went to the toilet i was the 1st to enter and i felt how he put a gun at my stomach and was going to be kept silent for a while or your kind then said get out of here studio there's no good for us gunman quotes he somehow managed to work through the security with his gun things like killed. most of the produce i wanted to see what was going on i couldn't even imagine that something like this could happen in our city. there is this when you we've tried to call our children but no one responded and then we received the names in syria names of those who died and who were shot we've got to be careful in the aftermath of especially in the immediate hours after an event

a tragedy like this there's a lot of rumors that spread the changed and a lot of misleading in our private think information but according to what the police have said bits and pieces and reports i would miss testimony in the media at 10 am local time in blagoveshchensk a city in the far east of russia the shooter a student at a construction college arrived late for class the teacher asked him to leave and he did he came back carrying a shortcut to the classroom he told the teacher to get out she was forced out and then he turned the gun on his classmates who. just got a. little spill it. was . all he continued shooting after that

years old the firearm was licensed the other he had a permit for the. legal obtain. as i see investigation underway now to establish the details but according to witnesses and some of his classmates the could have been animosity conflicts between the students apparently he may have been the victim of bullying which in no way excuses what he did but it certainly flushes out the circumstances investigation is under way already the security guard at the college has been arrested on suspicion of criminal negligence apparently the company that hired him a private security firm there also in hot water because he wasn't licensed to be a security guard at this college. nevertheless the investigation continues well as more information comes in we'll bring it to our viewers what the i must mention though is you know being there in the aftermath of

a school shooting i was encouraged last year there were fortunately many more casualties there. but it always leaves the mark you know the shooting at the school with society's moved vulnerable. when america's a.b.c. t.v. network quietly shelved a bombshell news report on disgraced billionaire jeffrey at 18 years ago a network probably expected that that was the end of the story however recently launched by one of its anchors off the air but caught on camera has brought i gave a cover up into the spotlight and heads have rolled as a result daniel hawkins looks now it how a.b.c. and other channels have handled the whole affair. say you're a top media organization facing scrutiny over a controversial leaked video in case you've forgotten it makes for interesting viewing it was unbelievable we had we had everything. i tried for

3 years to get it on to no avail and now it's all coming out and thinking well of revelations well we had it was unreal there were no back to you know. years ago now you could work to improve your credibility apologize or make amends or just brush it under the carpet and direct your efforts at finding and firing the alleged whistleblower to try to ensure they never work in news again the executives at america's a.b.c. network have been busy doing just that the person calling themselves the whistleblower claims the company has been searching staff e-mails and logs to find the culprit grilling employees and encouraging them to turn in the snitch instead of addressing this hat on like the company has in the past it has spun into a mission of seek and destroy innocent people that have absolutely nothing to do with this are being hunted down as if we were all support the audacity of that guy or girl 1st leaking the video then criticizing the company's methods but he or she

is right about one thing there has been a hunt actually bianco a new hired producer at c.b.s. was fired after just 4 days when her former employees at a.b.c. the term in that she'd leak the footage let her new bosses know did you make the tape i did not impact depleted i didn't know what he had done wrong it wasn't even given the professional courtesy to defend myself i mean why take any risks right and the epstein scandal and cover up probably wasn't a good enough story to start with at the time not all of our reporting met our standards to air but we have never stopped investigating this story now we've asked both c.b.s. and. a.b.c. for further comment the latter have already said they never stopped looking into the obscene story and will release a 2 hour documentary plus a podcast sometime next year of the high standards of mainstream media are admirable so high in fact that even those who cover well media didn't find anything
5:22 pm
interesting untoward or newsworthy in the a.b.c. would love story npr's on the media funded partially with taxpayer dollars hasn't mentioned the story neither have many others in the days following the scandal there seem to be almost no mention of the story on m.s.m. b c c.b.s. america's a.b.c. or n.b.c. news it's like him never happened or the facts were simply reported from a.b.c.'s version of events like the new york times did but meeting standards seems to be a bit of a pattern take road and pharo one of the journalists who broke the harvey weinstein story and works at n.b.c. but the network was very reluctant to air it and why after 7 months without one victim a witness on the record he simply didn't have a story that met our standard for broadcast nor that of any major news organization thank god for media standards making sure only the most newsworthy stories make it
5:23 pm
on air this wasn't really a political story necessarily it was simply a story about corruption and power and some very disgusting crimes that were being committed the problem is that it looks like there's no other competing network that we just we see them all basically invent to gether and protecting the same people the mainstream media is a sort of incest us old boy system where one kind of looks out for each other and covers for one another this seems to go well beyond that into looking more like a cartel you know they are really doubling down they're going out of their way to make sure there is no one in their ranks who might make them look bad. as relentless protests continue to paralyze hong kong china is calling on the united states to pull back on a bill supporting the protests and says it plans to reassess the special economic treatment that washington afford to the territory. if the us side must immediately

growing ultra-orthodox population that's at the heart of the problem here's our middle east correspondent paul asli. israel's survival depends on its ability to deal with external threats right wrong a new study by news radio think tanks suggest cities radio does have been barking up the wrong tree when it comes to questions of existential crises one of the biggest problems to face this country in the coming years will come from the country's ultra orthodox community certainly changes the character of the zionist jewish state as we know it. will towards the dogs on the whole are not scientists but they don't serve in the army today 9 percent of israelis are ultra-orthodox in the next quarter of a century that figure will almost quadruple because of the high birth rate so that by 2065 some 35 percent of the population will be ultra religious the implications are huge but lima is issue thank god the number of religious people is

growing in this country and more jews want to be religious people are realizing that they need to take care of their souls not just their bodies so they're turning to religion so there have to be afraid of anything still the effect on israel's future economy is clear only a tiny percentage of ultra orthodox male high school students study subjects like english math and science and with more than one in 3 i'm educated in 6 or less subjects israel's future economy looks bleak some little chores in the us are actually unemployed board builds and they are exempt from core curriculum they don't know english is adult if you don't know the word injured you can't operate a computer so israel if you leave here 2020 a quarter of our student body will be kids who are not study these basic skills and will become unemployed dulls this is a major threat to israel's economy and its israel's future yes come is that it may look like religious people are not working and they're not providing for their
