the intellectuals of our time speaks about the modern civilization the america. of the school hoops it has been absent a new baby this sense of behavior that appears even in death and dying babies even if you've never heard of. tickles by parents. and then we learn how to use this in a more complex way i am one of the things that we instill has joined in with love to contagiously to love and somebody else loves even if you don't know why they allow things. greetings and sally you take. this week well most of washington d.c. and the rest of the country is eagerly anticipating the main event title fight that is the congressional democrats versus us president donald trump over impeachment
1:31 am
there was a fascinating undercard battle taking place between 2 former partners now apparently best the venom use the buys a corked and the federal bureau of investigation yes thanks to the justice department's report on the f.b.i.'s investigation of donald trump's 2016 campaign the f.b.i. and the fives a court of been brought to the brink after report revealed some very disturbing truths about the f.b.i.'s blatant manipulations of the secretive court and b c news reports that according to the report when it came to former trump campaign advisor carter page yet the eyes submission to the court made assertions that were inaccurate incomplete or unsupported by appropriate documentation and given the f.b.i.'s long notorious history you can bet your bottom dollar that those that these are the tories carder page submissions were not the exception but the rule this led by the courts presiding judge rosemary collier to order the f. . to explain in writing how it intends to remedy all these problems and guess what
1:32 am
they have until january 10th to comply and why is this why is this important to the rest of us besides the justice wonks here in washington d.c. well because xander see mccarthy observes on the hill within the buys a court system the only due process an american can ever get occurs in that secret meeting between the judge and officials from the justice department and the f.b.i. if the f.b.i. s c cannot ensure that intelligence officials under the code abide standards of integrity and transparency the system fails. my friends the system of secret courts and secret evidence should never ever ever of been created in the 1st place and it is one of the many important reasons why we must always be watching the hawks. that's.
1:33 am
what they like you know that i got. to. welcome on the watch of the hawks i am tyrrel them for joining us today is r.t. america correspondent rachel blevins who's been following this new battle between the pfizer court and the f.b.i. and you discovered some very interesting wonderful things for us to talk about today and i want to ask you 1st the justice department's inspector general testified testified before congress today for a 2nd time about the f.b.i.'s wrongdoing in the investigation of donald trump's campaigns was operation her operation not a hurricane but. the rolling stone song. what were his latest remarks what did the
1:34 am
inspector general say so inspector general michael who are its testified today he once again call out the f.b.i. and he called them out for using false information in order to go after carter page and he noted that there were 17 and accuracies foreign missions that were involved in those surveillance requests based image of the foreign intelligence surveillance court and you raise the question of why if the f.b.i. knew that there were 17 inaccuracy and they still went on with this investigation and you also question why the foreign intelligence surveillance court allowed that to happen and why they didn't check up on it so he's calling for a completely new review into this relationship all together. and crossfire hurricane. friend you know my rolling stones song and i know my really lame f.b.i. investigations they were hard on the title they did they did now this is not the 1st is a good song this is not the 1st time the f.b.i. the f.b.i. has actually been called out by the fires a court correct because i mean it feels new to me but it's not the 1st time right
1:35 am
so this letter was a big deal of the files a court was coming out and that they were specifically calling up the f.b.i. and they were saying essentially if they were able to pull this off in this case then how many other cases have they done this but at the same time last year the pfizer court actually ruled against the f.b.i. and they were told that they were guilty of violating americans privacy rights by not only lying in order to get warrants but at the same time that they were also using that surveillance database to do searches pretty much whenever they wanted to and that involves doing searches on their own employees on their relatives friends ex girlfriends you name it but at the same time what came out of all of that was that the f.b.i. essentially said our bad we're sorry and they promised that they would behave moving forward and we didn't see any consequences out of it and now we're here today it amazes me when you when you see you know in the surveillance courts that we've built up know over the years which was so bad but you know what's what's a credible to me with lies and things like that is. basically this is like the
1:36 am
rubber stamp court saying hey stop using this as a rubber stamp really blows my mind it's like you had to kind of know that you were going to be a rubber stamp and i mean i know they put these things in there saying oh no no we won't do you know we'll we will make sure the evidence is good and we'll make sure it's just and and take our word for it because you know hey why not the f.b.i. we don't lie but at the end of the day i mean it just blows my mind that now suddenly they're like oh let me close my pearls is this case finally i hope going to give the public some insight into the world by the courts and how they can actually be abused i mean i've talked about on the show many times but is this case going to get high profile enough that people are going to start paying attention well that's the hope coming out of all of it because i think people are finally starting to see oh wait a 2nd if they would do this with this presidential campaign case then maybe they're doing this with the average joe who's just walking along with the f.b.i. wanted to get information on but at the same time when you look at the pfizer court specifically of course they were justified by the u.s. government and they always are justified by saying well it's national security and
1:37 am
we have to have this in place in order to go after terrorists but at the same time this is a secret court we're talking about and when we're looking at what the pfizer courts allow when we took the justice department's own records from 1979 to 2012 they had nearly 34000 requests and the number of those that they denied was just 11 so not only is the pfizer for allowing things to go on but they're allowing it and that number so we have a case here where all of a sudden the court is coming forward and they're saying wait a 2nd the f.b.i. completely lied and staged all of this they submitted whatever information they wanted to submit and then withheld the information they wanted to withhold the 5 for the same time as not doing their job due diligence in order to really follow up on that and this is something that is supported by both democrats and republicans going right along and they continue to justify it by saying that something that we have to have in order for our security you said let me get that right you said 3003434. and were rejected and that that's the justice
1:38 am
department's own record. i know that you have said earlier. that had the judge in the 5 know that she had said they have to like january 10th is it actually reasonable or conceivable that the f.b.i. is going to be able to pull that off and bring all these in for bring all this information and prove that they weren't lying and all the other cases that they brought right is even more so like they're trying to save face in all of this which is this say that hopefully maybe this will die down by january 10th because right now everybody looks bad in this situation right by the court it looks bad because they didn't follow up on this the f.b.i. looks bad because all of a sudden they're calling. these inaccuracies so it'll be interesting to see if they'll actually make an attempt to follow through thought and of the 5 the court will finally hold them accountable for it or look at the other requests they've submitted because that's a pretty big backlog of requests that they may need to go through an order to realize that i wasn't telling the truth all the way through it is it is and to me this is a far more fascinating fight at least. as i said it's the under card watching the
1:39 am
big fight of the democrats but also the undercard has spies the court it's fascinating to watch and i definitely will keep up on it and definitely keep reporting on it because it's always nice to have you on the show rachel thank you so much for giving us that information today always a pleasure thank you. genocide act of war tomato tomato that is the nature of the current war of words taking place between the country of turkey and the united states congress the world war the word war started when both the u.s. was sense on it in response to turkey's recent moves against the kurds in northern syria passed a bipartisan condemnation of the armenian genocide at the hands of the ottoman empire going on the way back to world war one in that era a move that the modern day nation of turkey takes offense to claiming that the killing of 1500000 ethnic armenians was just part of the horrors of war was an actual genocide. right or to the americans sir.
1:40 am
despite the fact they a resolution recognizing the armenian genocide was passed by both the house and the senate the u.s. state department says terms policy hasn't changed spokeswoman morgan ortega's released a statement where she said the position of the administration has not changed our views are reflected in the president's definitive statement on this issue from last april but this isn't the 1st administration to complicate the matter we've seen this before back in 2010 then secretary of state hillary clinton told reporters that the obama administration strongly opposes a resolution that was passed by only one vote in the house committee and we'll work very hard to make sure it does not go to the house floor and in 2007 a similar bill nearly passed before the bush administration where they said it deeply regrets the armenian suffering but they blocked up bill. we are all in
1:41 am
agreement that the passage of this resolution would be very destabilizing to our efforts in the middle east a very destabilizing to our efforts in iraq and afghanistan because turkey as an important strategic ally is very critical in supporting the efforts that we are making in these crucial areas we just say that if this is not because the united states fails to recognize the terrible tragedy of $915.00 we believe that there is some improvement in turkish armenian relations so this is it's not to to ignore what was a really terrible situation and. well last week the senate voted unanimously and passed a resolution that recognizes the armenian genocide turkey disputes the events and claims a lack of academic consensus now in response to the senate's bill turkish president rest up type to want war lawmakers his country may recognize the deaths of native americans as a genocide during american colonization during his speech on the pro-government
1:42 am
news channel or to one said we should oppose the u.s. by reciprocating such decisions in parliament and that is what we will do when we speak about america without mentioning native americans it is a shameful moment in u.s. history this all while the u.s. senate committee is calling for economic sanctions on turkey over its acquired russian as 400 missile defense system and over military often send north eastern syria turkish president responded with threatening to shut down u.s. military bases in turkey. if it needs to be closed it will close in truly if it needs to be close to close as you current chick the whole issue of bent measures and the sanctions against certain hereon out i only exist in the necessary way within the brain of reciprocity yet the us sees turkey as an important ally and while trump has praised earn a long time and time again this does put him at odds with pentagon leaders here who
1:43 am
have been critical of arda wanting his leadership to go to record watchers don't forget to let us know what you think of the topics we've covered other social media be sure to check are watching the podcast is now available on spotify apple music and everywhere you listen to your favorite or not so favorite. coming up it's simply it's ruined day here in the united states of america as house democrats bring the impeachment playing to us for the donald trump and former congressman alan grayson joins us to discuss states in. argentina love it this country is phantasmagorical the people are extraordinary the government and the central bank maybe not so much because of the central bank
1:44 am
but let's get into this a little bit more data. all right welcome back hawk watchers and i wish to you a depending on your political for. leaver a happy or not so happy impeachment day happy impeachment day to you that's right presidential speech when season is upon us in order to america's for problems that has been following all the pomp and circumstance in capitol hill and here is her report. tyrrell it's going to be a long and lengthy and rather cold day in the houses democrats and republicans are
1:45 am
taking up 2 articles of impeachment against president trump abuse of power and obstructing congress now president trump has condemned the impeachment inquiry calling it an abuse of power by democrats tweeting earlier this morning can you believe that i will be impeached today by the radical left do nothing democrats and i did nothing wrong a terrible thing read the transcripts that should never happen to another president again say a prayer and this morning's tweet comes just hours after sending speaker nancy pelosi a 6 page letter blasting her in the democratic party over what he calls an unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power as far as what happens today both parties will spend 6 hours debating the actual articles of impeachment and whether or not to approve or reject them the trial be split evenly between both parties but republicans could introduce procedural obstacles that would stretch the proceedings later into wednesday night whatever i'm so over there will be a vote of whether or not to impeach the 44th president donald j. trump now tuesday night tens of thousands of people across the country marched in
1:46 am
support of impeachment from a demonstration through a rainy time square 2 handfuls of activists standing vigils and small towns around the country now liberal groups organized more than 600 events from alaska to florida following a familiar model of mass protests that is coming to find the left turning the trumpet ministration of senators reacted to majority leader mitch mcconnell rejecting the democratic push for fresh impeachment testimony against president donald trump minority minority leader chuck schumer wants to call top white house officials for the senate trial mcconnell and most g.o.p. senators however prefer a swift trial to move on from and teach men trump wants a relatively. broad perhaps we send a proceeding to not only acquit but vindicate him of the impeachment charges so he instructed officials not to appear in the house but republicans senators say the impeachment trial once it gets to the senate if it gets to the senate it will be dead on arrival now as far as wednesday night president donald trump and vice president mike pence they're going to be in battle creek michigan a swing state so you're probably wondering why battle creek though well even though
1:47 am
it's a small town of about 52000 people back in 2016 the votes went 5050 democrat republican and trump is hoping to secure those votes for the 2020 election for watching the hawks i'm fair in front that. all right joining us now to discuss the moves to impeach president donald trump by congressional democrats is the former congressman out of florida and author of the new book high crimes the impeachment of donald trump the one and only alan grayson i always love having you on alan thank you for joining us thank you the book said impeach bush impeach booked all right we will mess that up by allen and. we've just heard various report on how all things impeachment are playing out in your old stomping grounds of the house of representatives today has has there been new twists and turns that have surprised you are things going as they should when a congress aims to impeach a president well what's interesting to me is that i was unrepentant which is a word that he can't spell. if there if ever there were proof that should be
1:48 am
impeached it's the fact that he doesn't even understand why he's being impeached which means he would do it again which means he has to be stopped from doing it again that's the point he's the only one of the world who thinks that it's ok to pull $400000000.00 of congress appropriated foreign aid to a foreign country unless they go ahead and investigate and perhaps indict his political opponent and remember all this happened 3 weeks after joe biden entered their presidential race so the fact that he doesn't understand with zoe is the best argument of all for removing him now al and i. you know i've read a lot of the book and you make a really strong case for the impeachment of trump in this book you actually compare trump to the worst of the worst of us political figures and found his presidency surprisingly actually upon his presidencies and actions to be the worst of all time that's what you state it's a bold statement especially when you think about compared to the likes of say a woodrow wilson a nixon a george w.
1:49 am
bush so how do you kind of back up that claim what do you point to as saying you know what this guy is the worst of the worst from all the previous presidents we've bad well look at what people have been actually impeached for in the presidents of presidents the 3 vice presidents who faced impeachment governors every governor who has faced impeachment is one that's mentioned in the book and referred to in the book judges as well what you find is that there's certain things that people get impeached for and frankly is guilty of all of them when you talk about corruption or whether you're talking about obstruction of justice or abuse of power or for instance tax evasion or sexual improprieties whatever it might be trump is guilty guilty guilty and the evidence is on the record right now i'll give you one example 2 years ago the governor is very faced impeachment proceedings for sexual improprieties with one woman what we have seen now with donald trump 50. but that's also before he took office not to depend on a trump please don't get me wrong. but you know it's also interesting what i really
1:50 am
kind of thought was really great and reading the book is when you pointed out some of the as it was just some of the historical corruption that many i think probably have forgotten like the fact that 3 vice presidents of this country have been accused of bribery that that blew my mind you know was there anything when in your research in putting this book together was there anything the really jumped out to you that you didn't realize about the corruption in our nation's history and the corruption of donald trump that you didn't know before going in to writing this book i literally could not find a single public official. impeachment who had the continued record of abuse of power that trump has and it's gotten worse since the miller report came out because he thought he thought that the report exonerated him so therefore it's now no holds barred we're seeing impeachment impeachable offenses coming roughly at once a month that's the way it's been for the last few months and that did surprise me there was a governor of texas a pretty bad guy ferguson but he's the only one who even comes close to abusing the
1:51 am
power that with donald trump did he should down the entire university of texas because his opponent in a political race happen to be on the faculty he cut their funding dead to 0 and got impeached and removed from office over that that sort of like what we're seeing from on every day basis now while that is really incredible now there's going to be the naysayers so i want to i want you to clarify why is this impeachment important and needing to take place because i know a lot of people 'd are arguing i've heard the argument that it's just a publicity stunt ultimately for the democrats we have a presidential election less than a year away why don't we put it in voters' hands you know make the cases and call them out for the things that he's doing wrong and then leave it up to the voters why is impeachment something that needs to be done mal well as i explained in impeach book to come this is the only device we have for holding a president responsible for holding him accountable while he's in office this is it this is all we've got and how many people are going to feel miserable if he escapes
1:52 am
all accountability for the high crimes and misdemeanors that he's committed and they've no mistake about it this is a high crime this is not just a misdemeanor this is a high crime only the prez of the united states can hold back $40000000.00 of foreign aid until foreign country indicts his political opponent only the president could do that that's what makes this a crime it is interesting too because it almost felt a little bit to me when i was watching it because i didn't you know seeing everything with the russia gate you know and going into that investigation and then the malo report. it almost felt to me he felt kind of felt a lot to me like the guy from the how to catch a murderer where you know he got exonerated from the one crime and then went out and commit of the century the same crime over again with different players you know is there anything that you expect look at them or the republicans are probably going to squash this in the senate but what do you see happening wilder's the impeachment play out 1st definitely as the o.j.
1:53 am
mentality just can't help himself he's going to beach been removed one way or another even if he does have to go on 5th avenue judy people that's probably would know what's next but the the answer is that mitch mcconnells in a tight spot just this past week a democratic governor was sworn in in kentucky and he kept his promise to restore rights to the 27 percent of african-american men in that state who cannot vote because they're convicted felons that creates a whole new electorate for mitch mcconnell to face next year and he knows that have dealt troops on the ballot that's his worst case scenario because kentucky was won the state the drum won by 30 points and then promptly 3 years later elected a democratic governor. yeah it's interesting to see how this is going to play out next november because that to me is where the ultimate test comes in is you know whether you know where it goes through does it make it through the senate if they squash it there then what happens trumps on the ballot he's going up against one of
1:54 am
the democratic contenders will find that out i assume in july you know where does it go do you see a shift in the political feelings of this country i don't know that the impeachment isn't true high on people's lists of what they're behind you know that they get about their jobs or think about their health care but do you see a shift happening in this country in terms of you know putting your thumb in the air and seeing where the wind's blowing and politically yes just look at the polls and i'll give you 2 good examples from the book 1st when richard nixon was actually chased out of office 58 percent of americans thought that he should be impeached and removed from office we're getting pretty darn close to that poll. after poll after poll showing 50 percent or more think about that have we ever had a president in our lifetime where you could scrape together even 20 percent the electorate and say that he should be impeached and removed from office now we're at 50 plus another example is andrew johnson people don't realize this but although he escaped impeachment a rule from all of us by one vote in $86086.00 weeks after that effort failed he
1:55 am
was before the democratic party shows its nominee for president that year and he got 15 percent of the vote at the democratic convention that year 85 percent support other candidates because he had been exposed as a bad president and those of peace from proceedings you know they failed to remove him from office well alan i got to say thank you so much as always coming on definitely have everyone go out and check out this book it's a fascinating read it's a quick read and you'll definitely be informed by once again that high crimes the impeachment of donald trump definitely check it out on the dot com thank you so much alan moved in thank you dot com thank you. and finally today just when you thought things couldn't get any weirder out there as lead as we leave one decade into the next it appears that earth's magnetic north pole is moving and has now actually crossed the prime meridian in fact research tells us that the north
1:56 am
magnetic pole has been rapidly wandering for quite some time now at a rate of roughly 34 miles or 55 kilometers per year for the past 2 decades for those of you who didn't pay attention in geology and science back in high school remember that the earth's magnetic field is created from a massive churning of the planet's iron our core which then produces a complex but largely north-south made medic field well that field is mysteriously currently in a period of weakening which is causing the north magnetic pole to move in fact some scientists and researchers say that we actually could be headed for a flip flop of our make medic poles north the south south and north in the next few years. wow like there is enough on our plates today from impeachment to pfizer vs the f.b.i. to the north and south poles potentially putting a man electors goodness gracious are at a party that is our show for you today remember everyone in this world we are told that we love them up so i tell you all i love you tyrone but keep on watching all

those hawks out there and have a great day and night it. been the troubled 19 seventies a group of killers rampage 3 parts of northern ireland that was coordinated loyalist attacks on the catholic population in belfast tens of thousands were forced to flee their homes come up with strike and put these attacks was a p.r. you see the police actually took part in the attacks so instead of preventing they were active participants in the burning of coal streets in belfast at the time more than a 100 innocent civilians were. as the you can see in years and we found out more i was surprised about the extent and of the currents which the solution was involved in some of those cases that killers would later be named the beginning i think it

the headlines this hour u.s. tech giants are being sued for allegedly abetting in the deaths of children in kobold mines in congo parents of the children say the companies had all the means to prevent the deaths of us democrat she's the highest majority to impeach donald trump though his support remains high and the us president himself is bullish. this lola's partisan speech is a political suicide. put that number could put it underscored in the u.k. is under fire after the children were given a homework assignment on the manchester arena bombing in which they had to reflect on whether terrorists should be think given plus a record number of journalists will attend russian president vladimir putin.
