a friendly part of the community morphing into a militarized police you see today all right it's time to boost your news i. less than 24 hours after protesters were met with tear gas outside of the white house today president trump continues his push for tougher law enforcement against massive protest still happening across the nation those protests as a result of last week's death of george floyd an unarmed black man killed by a minneapolis police officer now for more on the new developments coming out of washington let's go to our to scare and fronsac who's standing by outside of the white house what's the latest. for it's a middle of we are right in front of the st john's church where yesterday there was that controversial photo op that donald trump president on the trump took yesterday but before we get to that we have an update now we have the protesters about to move over. to more of the left side outside of the white house because there has

been a national guard presence more over in the corner now lafayette park which is directly in front of the white house actually has now been taken over by federal authorities and it was just announced that arlington county actually pulled their officers actually from patrols who were actually here helping federal state and local police so the spokesman for arlington county said that they were not happy with having to use tear gas and flash bangs to move the crowds back monday as donald trump made his way to st john's church to take a picture here or as browsers said that they actually never called them in for help so she doesn't know why they were here in a for is in the 1st place an update on that but yesterday when we were here with the protesters we had young and old black and white all together protesting peacefully but once that perfect hit at 7 pm that's when things started to turn a little bit violent the crowds were pushed back again as i mentioned so president trump could take that photo op and that's exactly exactly what his critics are calling it a religious photo op in front of the 200 year old st john's church where we are the

day after it was set on fire protesters now before his photo op trump spoke in the rose garden condemning the rioting and looting that's in cities across the country that they've seen and threaten that he would actually deploy the u.s. military to major cities if it didn't stop with that here i am you know president of law and order and an ally of peaceful protesters. but in recent days our nation has been gripped by professional anarchies violent mobs are students looters criminals rioters. and. now overnight protesters took to the streets in washington with all things dying down around 2 or 3 in the morning stores and businesses they were broken into and you saw roughly the same amount of violence that was displayed sunday night but as each day goes on here in d.c. more and more businesses are beginning to board up their windows almost making it look like the city is getting ready for a hurricane now just moments ago the president 1st lady they were actually at the

in america and sights and sounds of the police and bubble up up up up up up and everything else though the people we the people should every day be rising up and well the difference now is that we've been locked down and that there's nothing much going on and the people aren't being allowed to go to work so so this and so there is a lot more kind of that finally there's an opportunity where there's these few kind of days so moments when they really maybe some of them have not a lot else to do but the agri these people are angry and so they should be i don't know really what else to say except that do not be sucked into donald trump's dumond's for an i meet cool on battle between you and him and the forces of evil because it's a battle you come when we have to do this in a peaceful nonviolent way and that is the way forward in my career right arm up
