facebook workplace and what it is is it gives an employer like wal-mart or starbucks those are 2 companies who are using this their employees can log into their facebook workplace and it's like a regular facebook interface except it's only for those employees so they can talk to each other about work related items they can you know talk about what happened on the shift and things like that but management and this is how facebook pitched it management at those companies has the ability to filter out certain words basically what they called content control by doing that by preventing certain words from popping up like in their presentation they said unionize the union i don't use those words they actually can control the flow of these conversations and almost influence the way these employees are thinking and speaking of this the you love this part of starbucks right starbucks of the they're they're the new progressive businesses young hip they're using the product ok you've got wal-mart

you'd expect that campbell soup yeah they're using the product but here's the point the ugly part of this story there's so many a good parts but one ugly part was they were using this they would get in a group of c.e.o.'s or whoever's make a management decisions and say look this is what we're selling you they were equivocal we're selling you this so you can spy people then they get caught right spokesman says oh no no no this was just an idea we haven't ever launched this well there's talk was well this is a feature only in early development you think well that's you know we already have companies that are currently using this fall with the intercept is the reporter here he knows what he's talking about he did a phenomenal job really an end to this as well as a brilliant reporter leaf and we did a story last week when he was victimized by survive on one of his coworkers because he said something that the coworkers. it was a politically incorrect this is

states is the absolute worst when it comes to protecting labor ok so here you have this organization that says hey we're going to make that even better one part of the story i think is really interesting there's there's the shake up this this war taking place it was described the walk but the word the wording it's a it's a shake up between the snowflakes censors at facebook and the new business types that are at facebook ok you got the way leftwing snowflakes versus the corporate types they're saying look we're a business we're not here for the fun of it where is that going to land. it's going to land on the corporate side 100 percent you know even if the people who don't like where facebook is headed and to be honest i wouldn't either you look at this it is turned from this you know hip cool social media company to just another corporate but he method has its hands in too many honeypots right now but it it's going to go with the money yeah i think it is a. they're going to be the ones calling the shots zuckerberg is going to either

continue to lose control over parts of his company or he's going to become just another you know faceless behemoths of corporate america and is is as unions disappear as workers' rights disappear our middle class disappears and it so goes the story where you have 110th of 110th of 110th of one percent that have all the money in the united states. from some reelection campaign is in big trouble and he's now turning to the experts to turn things around the democrats need to start taking this seriously ok the turd blossom is back the turd blossom of course is karl rove and he was given that name interesting way enough by bush the bush family regard him as the turd blossom and there's a reason for it is an ugly little character is that slimy little ways that he goes about it he goes all the way back to the southern strategy with lee atwater where they actually won by scaring the bejesus out of everybody so now the turd blossom

war i can even think guy's name looks like a loser marvel car yeah you know it's over that is so dangerous that it's just so dangerous so as we go forward on this here's the here's the here's the difference. you've always had something i go with my gut i know what to say i go with my gut call rovers say and i'll be damned if you're going to go with your gut you're going to go to the play book and you going to stick by the play book you've got to see some discipline and that's an interesting development. has destroyed one of the best policies from the trump administration i mean one of the few things drug did right my god you have an appellate court that always sides with big pharma always i mean i as you know that's what we do right day to day in this law firm we go toe to toe with big pharma and the courts always side with big pharma lay this story out for us health and human services but the trump administration a little over

a year ago came up with new rules that aren't big pharma you're not going to lower your prices here's what you have to do you have to in your advertisements put the cost of a 30 day supply of your drugs what you would charge somebody on medicaid or medicare for a 30 day supply of your drugs that's it just added to your advertisements and now this is the 2nd court ruling that says no you can't do that you can't have them put these drug prices on there because they are and this decision was headed up by an obama appointee and a carter appointee joined in on this ruling i didn't know the well ok order to go we talk about this all the time we talk about the fact that we have become people watching this program have become so tribal i'm a republican i can only think republican i'm a democrat i can only think about the democrat so now we're saying what the obama administration did with court appointments and we're seeing the result of that you realize this court actually said well we can't allow this because it's confusing

it's going to confuse it's going to confuse consumers it's going to be harmful to consumers it's a tenuous argument and what they're saying is the reason for that is is because medicaid and medicare sometimes. that prize to where they don't always pay that price we talk about drugs that have a 10000 percent markup and this damn court doesn't have enough sense to say that should be important for a consumer that you think this is exactly what consumers do need to know even if it's not the price they pay they need to know that there are people who have to pay that price or you know there's inhalers actually just had to switch off one because it was $500.00 a month breo which is what it was so i'll call them out right here by name breo almost $500.00 a month for me and people need to know that they need to understand because maybe their prescription because 75 percent of people take a prescription every day maybe there is a generic that's been out for 50 years and they pay $10.00

a month great these new drugs like like breo that has been out to long they're absolutely putting people through the ringer for no real number then they can trump when you ran said i'm going to do this i want to take on the pharma industry he also said i'm going to take on big corporations that are sending business out of the country they're sending work out of the country we have to stop that so he's trying to deliver this one of the few things i mean i honestly got i can't even think of anything that this guy's done maining full this is one of the biggest problems in america is drug company raping consumers 10000 percent of companies like fives are in merck in i could go on lilly johnson and johnson waiting consumers so all of a sudden the trumpet ministration says we're going to we're going to solve that we're going to it will make you put your price up there in this court tries to find a way to get around and i wonder sometimes we always talk about the politics of the

workers' rights are to resist antos joins me now to tell that story what can you tell me about the latest findings by the world's largest trade union federation. well the international trade union confederation has ranked the united states last among the world the 7 largest advanced economies when it comes to workers' rights now the ratings go from best to worst on a scale of one to 5 depending on compliance with collective labor rights the us has been given a rating of 4 which means that the government and come to. in gaijin serious efforts to crush the collective voice of workers and put fundamental rights under threat america is the only group of 7 nation with systemic violations of rights in the workplace other countries around the globe that also bear for ratings include mexico nigeria congo and venezuela all of which have fewer resources than the united states. what kinds of violations resister are the most common against.

right now what do you see is the true. what the global rights index has exposed is a breakdown in the social contract that governments and employers have with workers now this isn't only happening in the united states but on a global scale and in fact violations against workers around the world have reached a 7 year high with upward trends and restricting collective bargaining criminalizing striking and excluding workers from joining or establishing unions well it's not illegal to strike or establish unions in america workers who try to do so here are often retaliated against by employers you know back in 2017 a judge had ruled that tesla c.e.o. elon musk broke the law by threatening employees and retaliating against them for wanting to unionize another u.s. based company that does things like this is amazon you know they've been accused time and time again of firing workers who have letter participated in strikes. you know one story that we did awhile back of that was really interesting is that there were actually doing plants there putting plants inside around workers to act as

spies to figure out whether unions are developing to find out who who has a complaint it's really ugly process but the point to me that's important here is as we beat down the unions in the united states the american middle class is disappearing they're not around anymore and that's what that ends up doing is moving to the point 0001 percent of the economy of the mirror. holding on to all the money this is a really really ugly story with this federation says look we looked at everything and this is but i want to ask you this how has the corona virus pandemic allowed companies to even advances for their own work or agendas. well since the covered 1000 outbreak many companies have changed the rules to boost their own financial interests at the expense of workers now in some industries employees have even been asked to sign away their rights to sue their bosses if they contract the virus on

the job and the u.s. chamber of commerce is now lobbying for national liability protections but we really see violations of worker safety and health playing out in the meat packing industry thousands of pages of documents reveal how major meat packing companies like tyson foods national beef smithfield and others have failed to protect over 24000 workers from contracting the coronavirus emails and records show how meat packing plants were too slow to implement social distancing measures install protective barriers and have workers where masks meat packing companies have even used their protective their power to circumvent recommendations from local health officials and this has happened in other industries as well unfortunately coronavirus is giving these companies some sort of like permission to change the rules and they say that they're doing to protect worked or workers but they're really not. you know you've always resisted it's going to get worse before it gets better you're right thank you for joining me and let's continue doing these stories and talk about the beat down of the american worker thank you for joining me.

thanks mike recent polls have shown a widening gap in support for president trump in joe biden is the country continues to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and widespread protests for the police reform well he's benefiting from all that power the political tide shifting during this time of crisis with me as media analyst david lamb one of the best in the country we can usually you know we can count on what you say you know i totally lost 'd confidence in. in the last cycle i mean really they can defend themselves all they want it was a it was a it was a disaster so let me let's talk about this what to you as you see these trends taken place i saw a fox poll of 1300 registered voters biden's 50 percent trumps 38 percent a 4 point change what does all this mean right now so the what it means is the trump training is stalled at the depot while the biden bus is barreling down the

highway 4 percent bump biden continues that ascent he is even outpacing not only hillary clinton much more steady but as as his as his poll numbers continue to increase the question for trump from campaign trip supporters what has to happen to stall that that biden surge that continues to grow month by month ok karl rove turd blossom returned we know his we know what his game plan that a bag of tricks his get bag of tricks law in order joe biden's brain is fried right the dems are a disaster for the economy if the dems when the entire united states is going to look like the shadows up in seattle washington this is this this is his game plan yeah it is and so what what happens with this kind of movement fear tell me about the fear card how does it figure so here's what's interesting in the fox news poll what i found really is to know other than just the numbers is they were asked about passions and motivations take

a look at these numbers perhaps so when it comes to the fear of the other candidate biden supporters 63 percent fear trump trump supporters 31 percent fear biden which basically nonexistent enthusiasm for candidate 31 percent of biden supporters are excited about him 63 percent trump supporters are excited about him what has to happen is trump has to demonize joe biden make him scarier he's got to bring up the negative ads that are out of the net. it is on bod and this this game plan we will see it play out i thought it was really interesting you know this thing about the brain being fried and we've heard that it's just part of a talking point right now to handle that did you see the ad where they have biden and obama running them away like we're healthy there's no problem there and then we have trump looking just decrepid walking down the ramp so that is the that's that's part of the that's the beginning that is how about the burning of the united states

that the united states is going to look like chavez up in seattle if these guys when the numbers tell us anything fear is definitely fear that also really affects those voters $65.00 plus those voters are so important because they show up at the polls and they have forever young voters the millennial get all the attention but they're much less consistent than those $65.00 plus voters biden has a 10 point lead which last election cycle trump won them by 8 percent election cycle before that mitt romney won those $65.00 plus voters by 12 and so basically a $20.00 or they didn't like 61 percent of. it was the last december when ok so he has to pick up these voters in fear is the best card you know we've got this radical left that supported by the democrats and it's who they are they're trying to burn down the country there's tearing down statues they're burning up cities gold i thought was interesting trump says i'm going to let chaz play out to let the

american public look at it and understand that this is what this is what the dems want for america is that part of the karl rove plan that that is definitely the plan and the poll numbers actually back that up a survey by 53860 percent of registered voters you know we've heard this term defunding the police 60 percent of registered voters opposed to funding billie's democrats oppose 840-5234 republicans 8411 but get this another poll do you support defunding the police 34 percent of the country supports. that 7 percent of republicans trump has to stay on message karl rove is going to push him to do this a lot of time in tulsa was spent on a number of other things he was talking like a crazy may help if you listen to trump he was talking like a crazy man and the interesting thing is rove is already there rove heard him say look our guys actually said something like our guys right whatever that means you are tougher than you snowflakes and you don't want to mess with us this is the president of the united states and i'm off message he has to trump has to target

and be disciplined to to ratchet up the fear of biden link him with the radical left with the riots with the protest with with with a lot the looting and the rioting right now he's trump is spending his time on all over the map he's got a center that biden is still down in the cellar yet in his handlers are so terrified to let him out of the cellar does he need to get out of the cellar maybe not is it maybe not yet that but the biden basement strategy he has gained 4 points down and i'd only nothing ok so now trump wants more he wants to have more debates biden says 3 have you ever seen numbers change in as few as 3 debates will that move the needle with the clock is ticking and trump has to get more focused and more disciplined but a lot just think of what's happened in the past 4 months there's been

a great deal of change there's been a great deal of movement there is no reason to think a great deal more can change back the other way give me some comparisons isn't even is even appropriate to draw comparisons between the clinton disaster and what many people are going to say is going to be a disaster in any way to draw a parallel i don't know that there are parallels because biden's lead is more solid more consistent more steady and clinton's was all over the map clinton were from month to month she went 10 points up to 2 and a half points down biden has not shown that tonight. me but again everything has been about trump it has been about trump and the strategy just allow trump to sink his own ship and he's doing that ok so call rove has to get in his head he's got to shut up stupid he's got to shut out stupid dalan message i own message this is the message that in 6 points those 6 points i just gave that's the message that's it stick on it and then everything's going to be ok now his core is is trying to score stand winning they're showing some signs of weakness i inside the republican party
