and susan rice were trying to take out the president the transition of power if you want to talk about the threat to transition of power i think we should i do think that the mail in ballots and destabilize this fall election that's what the president mean look hillary clinton everybody supposed assessed kneel down and say she's wise she needs said joe biden should never concede donald trump basically said we'll wait and see no one in this country should ever think that we're not going to have a peaceful transition of power we will when the new york times runs that story and says trump said something is simply not true and but here i will say this we now have ballots found and there has been a new and we have people wondering if their ballots are being counted and african-americans are disproportionately having their mail in ballot wop because of the system this is the system the democrats wanted biden wanted drop it's been saying it's arrest me for chaos your word and i'm worried about it too rob your response you know what's interesting is that this president has made that the issue he's made there's never been an issue with mail in ballots until he wanted to make it an issue because he was worried about more participation and let's talk about

the blocking of the system in terms of voter suppression in this country voter suppression has been led by the republican party at least for the last 30 years you can look up paul white which please do it he had it and he had a saying he said i don't believe in good government everybody and everybody building government is not won by people participating we want the least amount of to people to participate who are people that's essentially what he said and it's been the strategy of the republican party specifically recently when robert reich obama got elected they wanted to figure out ways to pull it but there's nothing wrong with mail in ballot our system works fine the issue is you have a president who's trying to this trying to cause havoc as trying to make people think about it 2nd point when i notice on us wait wait wait wait you said at this point on the president what he said is he was asked a simple question will you will you leave it in a peaceful transfer. i'll have to wait and see because i don't trust the balance does not that's not the answer the answer is yes i will indeed discuss well no one

looking forward to and on this you know clash of words and ideology between donald trump and joe biden what do you think it's going to happen when the sparks start to plot and i'll start with you ed. i don't think biden will show up i'll make that prediction i said earlier this week i think by sunday or so they'll announce he has committed and that he can't go on from there and no i and i really don't think it will debate if he does debate he'll be better than people expect but he won't be clear coherent and look trump won't be as good as people think he will and maybe you guys don't think everyone says he's really even wasn't he's going to have ups and downs that's going to be bombastic i can shows up it'll be the largest you know people watching it will be a large highest ratings ever which would be great but i don't think that show up i really don't believe that joe biden will be there on tuesday i don't think there's an almost any chance. others say the. my republican friends and the president of the white house that done such a great job of lowering expectations that when joe biden which you will be able to

obesity crisis i guess it's time to have a coke a smile and a hush hush. party america's john harvey has the story. the exact recipe and formula for coca-cola is dark sugary soda may still be a secret but the company's tactics when it comes to spending public health perception is now becoming crystal clear a new report published in the online journal public health nutrition from cambridge university finds that the coca-cola company paid $1500000.00 to a nonprofit organization called the global energy balance network or g e b n claiming to study obesity with scientists from west virginia university and the university of colorado between 20142015 the nonprofit investigative research group u.s. right to know teamed up with researchers from oxford university and analyzed more than 18000 e-mails between coca-cola officials and g.e. b.n.

researchers they found that coke created the g.b.n. as a quote unquote friend to essentially downplay the role sugar plays in control of eating to obesity and instead blaming a lack of exercise not a bad diet or sugar for america's obesity epidemic. a report claims that coca-cola used several tactics and strategies to try and basically water down the links between sugary drinks and obesity. among them trying to obscure coax relationship with researchers minimize the public perception of its role and use these researchers to promote industry friendly messaging the executive director of us right to know gary ruskin said in a statement that coke used public health academics to carry out classic tobacco tactics to protect its profits while calling it a low point in the history of public health and a warning about the perils of accepting corporate funding for public health work

that's not all another study published in the journal of health politics policy and law found that coke succeeded in redirecting china's obesity science and policy to emphasize physical activity key to its success was the industry funded global nonprofit the international life sciences institute corporate tactics like what coke use are nothing new for big business and the potential bad press for coke according to industry analysts a multi-billion dollar global giant is unlikely to stop the millions of people who continue sucking down the caramel flavored sugary sweet drink in the years to come from watching the hocks john hardy. wow coca-cola just take about a page right out of the tobacco industry place if it works for their why not if you don't like the science and get your own scientists to say otherwise if that's appalling then the lengths that which they went to promote this is hilarious to me

from transfer in california prisoners into the hands of immigration authorities and now members of the asian law caucus are demanding the release of couse a lee a prisoner who served his 22 year sentence and even battled wildfires wall incarcerated after serving 22 years behind bars 41 year old cow c. lee was scheduled to be released from prison while his sister was waiting outside a southern california prison to pick him up see lee was instead handed over to u.s. immigration and customs enforcement known as ice they put him on a plane to a detention center in the wheezy ena sealy is now in a holding pattern facing deportation to laos the only issue laos isn't home for say leave his family fled his native country when he was only 2 years old the mian people faced oppression in laos after fighting alongside the u.s. during the vietnam war after escaping to a refugee camp in thailand say lease family made their way to fresno california got into drugs and at 18 was kicked out of his house he was arrested after taking part

in an armed robbery as he served time sealy help fight california wildfires in 20182019 he thought maybe this could lead to a career one day and will governor new some just sign legislation to enable those with a criminal record to become firefighters saley still has other hurdles to climb governor newsome has sent hundreds of people to ice after they've served their prison sentences including. now a petition is circulating to release from ice back to his family in california but he's not the only one according to state records this year from january to may more than 500 people were put into ice custody after serving their sentences and we knew some released thousands of prisoners as a result of the krona virus at least 78 people were transferred to ice detention centers now safely as original release date was august 6th he's been in a holding pattern for a month and a half now a prison spokes person did confirm sanely was released after serving his full sentence but declined to comment regarding the ice transfer. absolutely awful on

every front i mean the man has served his time and then now we're going to send them to the concentration camps of ice over 2 decades and the other frustrating part about this story is that we all know that gavin newsom recently signed into law the action to ensure that people who had been incarcerated who served as firefighters trying to stop these wildfires that have existed across the state would be able to be employed afterwards so you know you have this guy who was hopeful for some reasons but also someone who came here at 2 years old a part for all intents and purposes america is whole that's that's all we know is any paid his debt to society and that's what the whole idea is and i actually know from family friends i actually know somebody who was a firefighter a female firefighter who was in prison in california who went into firefighting while in prison and those fires got out and it was very hard for that person to initially get a job at that time thankfully a fire chief kind of you know wink wink said look i'll help you through this

because i know you're good person but other than that that's why it's just it's so aggravating to see that new some on one hand does this but on the other hand it's like well i guess ice has the you know ice the federal authority should automatically get these people when they're doing a head terrible job of taking care of people they're doing a horrible job and the crime that he was accused of and certain for had nothing to do with his imprint is that if he has else i'm very confused as to how you know i feel like this is another grab for ice at this point also another grab for private prisons because they also are the ones who are in charge of regulating what happens once anybody who has it was in place with immigration gets out of prison. terrible stuff but my friends that is tragically the end of our show remember everyone in this world we're not told we're loved enough so i tell you all i love you. and i'm just keep watching all those hawks out there and have a great lady. as
