south china sea every year connecting markets in asia and india goes a china japan south korea and taiwan through the south china sea for energy from the middle east and ultimately for consumer markets in europe and china salami sliced tactics over the last 15 years 1st saying that they have some defensive concerns in the south china sea then the same for president obama they'd be no militarization of these. artificial islands the chinese have built that militarizing those islands and now firing missiles into the air well we have very important consequences we're concerned with here how and because this is 1400000 square miles of international border ways in international airspace and the chinese are essentially claiming this as the sovereign chinese lake so it's very dangerous for the global trading system it's very harmful to china's neighbors i threw out east asia and into south east asia region but also i think in terms of an international press it in if china is able to essentially subsumed the south china
