look at you like a monster or someone bad or you chose to be there most of the time it's not to see how it is to be in the world's richest country. allegations of electoral fraud and error and rights of legal action to help the ballot counting and i'm great crowds in the streets that's how the 2020 us presidential election is going so far with both candidates and saying that winning . we discuss with america's 1st and 4th place to political concious the libertarians and greens on how people are given no real choices from the republicans and democrats. i don't know if libertarians or other 3rd parties or it will ever consistently get high enough to win a national election we have both who are all the winners single member districts
12:01 am
when you take all system. which encourages people to vote for the list real. states go back to lock downs with coronavirus cases reaching new highs. a very good morning to you and thank you for joining us as we continue to bring you the latest on the race for the white house. america is a spy on easy anticipation as ballot counting enters the final stages in most states don't miss out on our special coverage america decides. thank you. thank you. so far it's been a very tight race his how it looks at this point democrat joe biden has the backing of 264 electors while his rival donald trump has secured 214 votes the
12:02 am
threshold for winning the race is 270 votes and to have a crosses the line 1st will get america's top job but one thing we can already say for sure is that the 2020 vote has been marred by allegations of electoral fraud and errors the charm campaign has filed lawsuits in 3 states pennsylvania michigan and georgia demanding that absentee ballots which arrived after the election day deadline should not be included meanwhile in the state of north carolina the ballot counting will take up to 8 more days according to the local election commission well nevada officials have postponed ballot counting until thursday delays are expected elsewhere across the u.s. as well. with the votes mobbed by electoral fraud allegations hundreds took their anger to the streets demanding all votes are counted some of the protests have turned violent resulting in clashes with police patrols have been stepped up amid tensions in new york. thank you thanks
12:03 am
thanks. thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks. thanks thanks. well there's just gone to 9 pm in a city hall in the state of oregon and then crowds of poured onto the city streets as you can see on your screen from the live pictures that bring you now at a rally is comprised of anti trump activists who demands that every vote be counted let's get more on this we're joined by in the studio now thanks for coming in. good morning bring us the latest on how the counting is going in the remaining states
12:04 am
while i can tell you that it's been a while since the polling stations closed and the country still doesn't have a president elect and like you were saying it looks like we're going to remain in this limbo for quite a while with several states announcing delays in the counting and as you can see like you were saying protests are breaking out in different parts of the country with the left side supporters pretty much challenge to chanting make sure every vote counts then on the other hand the pro trump protesters are screaming stop the vote stop the vote now what's that if not an indication of a lack of trust in the system i can tell you and remind you that ahead of the november poll donald trump called on his supporters to vote in person warning of potential fraud with absentee votes and mailed in votes now at this
12:05 am
point while the ballots are being counted and while we still don't know the result donald trump is pushing on with this idea banging the alarm over fraud and here is what we're hearing from his camp. not a single republican has been able to look at any one of these mail ballots they could be from mars as far as we're concerned or they could be from the democratic national committee joe biden could have voted 50 times as far as we know with 5000 times. the ballots could be from camden. philadelphia unfortunately and say this about my own city has a reputation for voter fraud you have a reputation with dead people voting and we're going to go look at just how many dead people voted here i don't think we have to do that but we will and you have a reputation of people being bussed in from camden voting here. so the president's side has already filed a lawsuit in georgia to make sure that the counting of absentee votes stops here
12:06 am
like you were saying that's already been done in 2 other states and this is being echoed by pro trump supporters in michigan that are saying that the votes from the counting must stop right here right now. to. us. in the yard. now at the same time it's worth having a look to how both candidates are behaving a little earlier we heard from donald trump that he's ready to proclaim victory now at the same time joe biden for instance was saying that he's sure that he's on track to do the same thing at this point though the democratic candidate is calling on the nation for unity so have
12:07 am
a listen to what exactly he said in one of his latest remarks once this election is finalized and behind us it will be time for us to do what we've always done as americans to put the harsh rhetoric of the campaign behind us to lower the temperature to see each other again to listen to one another tweet to hear each other again respecting care for one another. to unite to heal. come together as a nation so if we listen to joe biden does seem in a sense that he's talking as if he's already become president elect but that is not the case and it does sound a bit awkward when he's calling for unity and this kind of manner given the fact and just after remembering what the democrats were saying about. supporters in the
12:08 am
build up to this election and so again with both sides ready to take the counting and the reports of errors and they're going to go to the supreme court with protests breaking out in different parts of the country and with this limbo that is definitely go into law for at least a few more days we're in for some very tough times and of course we're going to tell you all about it here on our t.v. as more updates come from the u.s. currency appreciate that everything is turning out to be the most extraordinary u.s. election in history i think thank you for coming in and we discussed the situation with a guest some of whom think developments point to a wider failure of the u.s. system. there's an acquiescence to that in fact biden has won the presidency i would say don't think that whatever the court challenges are going to change anything with the possible exception of wisconsin where you have some implausible numbers that are coming out and i've seen a lot of
12:09 am
a lot of convention on line about these strange amount of turnout which seems like you know beyond belief level of turnout and so there seem to be a lot of mystically manufactured votes in wisconsin i'm not sure that actually change the outcome of the social media has been manipulated in this election banning accounts that are not quite to their liking pushing people to do this to do that i mean it's with been the most manipulated election certainly in my lifetime there's no question about that and we all know which way the manipulation is going so this is this is not a mystery right this is not we all know which way the social media giants were leaning the way the major media was leaning so of course you know if biden ekes out this little bit this time in victory with a couple of states that swing swing states where there's some suspicious ballot you know biden comes it becomes president with with on almost you know with very little the gentleman say and certainly no you know serious consensus so there will be no
12:10 am
mandate for biden and this will last for 4 years this is a tremendous failure of the american system i don't know what else to tell you usually after every election people like well we argued a lot we debated things a lot but now the system has worked this year. that is not happening there's nobody in this country who thinks the system actually worked it was either rigged or it's broken or didn't work or something so this in a strange way at least at the presidential level election really settled absolutely nothing because i think that there's a lot to contest i mean this is a election unlike any other with all of the mail in ballots with all the early voting we knew it was you could be chaotic from the beginning unless it was a massive landslide in either direction everyone were sort of expect that this was going to drag out and maybe drag out until december but by law we have to have a winner by december 12th i believe it is and this river is probably where this is
12:11 am
going to go no side is going to give up easily and i know we have all of these incredibly shady stories popping up 100000 ballots here for joe biden 120000 ballots in pennsylvania recently per job i'd offer joe biden what is this venezuelan voter fraud is a big concern we see this public now you know you know a little anomalies popping up here and there not statistical errors but we're seeing instances where people. got a mail in ballot and then they decide to vote in person so how we should ensure that they didn't vote twice all those ballots are canceled out we are seeing instances rigged or not being allowed to look at signatures on voter rolls not be able to verify voters that there are some districts that are being very close about how they're recounting the ballots why would you do that why would you want anything but transparency but yet where did this come from and i wouldn't put anything past the left of the democratic party look at the fraud that they have perpetuated on this nation blessed for years they still haven't conceded the 26 election no one but they're going to concede this one so it's well worth looking
12:12 am
into i would not put it past the democrat party to pull something like this. and that's 102016 candidates lost it despite the winning the popular star into the electoral the country's electoral college system. my colleagues tell us spoke with representatives from america's 3rd parties the libertarians on the greens a whether the current tea party domination gives americans any real alternatives
12:13 am
the one percent that libertarians get does play a significant role i don't know if libertarians or other 3rd parties are or will ever consistently get high enough to win a national election maybe not win in elections but impacting policy debates and reaching out to voters is what we do how it's going to pick up on something that was decided to go he said you know we're talking about a single percent support for thought party town today that's right it's kind of spread quite even 4849 for the republicans and democrats so it's almost sad to say that the republicans or democrats at this point represent the will of the majority of americans do you think that as you know you disagree with that absolutely i mean look at public opinion polls majority of americans want a green new deal which is what the green party is for to do with the climate crisis get the economy going again majority of americans want medicare for all in both the democrats and republicans oppose those houses the problem is our electoral system
12:14 am
we have we're only winners single member districts when you take all system which encourages people to vote for the lesser evil the most people are voting against the other major party rather than for their own party so i think if we can change the electoral system in place the electoral college with a national popular vote is the right choice voting for presidential elections. i think the greens will move way up and in the boat we get currently the state in the us is kind of how how it hearkens mentioned it's people for trump and people who hate trump that's what they're voting about and they're there strategically choosing one of the major parties not that they necessarily agree with the platforms of those parties and was that there is a lot of white hods criticism voting for a party actually can create problems more problems and build and just wason the
12:15 am
defense and because that essential steaming quote you know folks from parties that would actually when for example the republicans or the democrats in this particular case why it is so close and those states that were saying i sometimes even less than a percentage point how would you react to people who say that if i had to choose we want to any one of the major parties i would flip a coin because i equally dislike both of them. the difference between the republicans and democrats is mostly about personality and style when it comes to the substance of the issues they're both for the deficit spending they're both for spending and taxing too much they're both for continuing the wars and those are things that libertarians oppose and even grains oppose some ringback of that stuff as well so i actually like it when the republicans and democrats get mad at libertarians because it causes them to focus on us and it gives us an opportunity
12:16 am
to say hey here's why you guys are wrong and here's why we won't vote for you this is what we stand for what we need real political parties that actually have members i mean what we have now are 2 major parties you tell the state which party you're in in order to vote in primaries there's no local organization no local chapter of the party no you don't agree to a set of principles and they do sort of party the join and you just tell the state which party you're in so the electorate is adam honest and disconnected from the political process. well donald trump's received unprecedented scrutiny from the us establishment and mass media during his 1st 4 years of pres presidency with some even calling him the most dangerous president ever walk downstairs reports however it ends the election trump will go down in history is vowed to drain the swamp build the wall and make america great again they'll remember him
12:17 am
what they'll write about him will depend on the book the author the perspective if they loved him or hated each the greatest failure in the history of the united states the worst president is america has ever had. the worst and most dangerous president where were you in 27. when we had the worst president i would even argue that he is the worst worst president in american history he's the worst president the country's ever had 4 years of trump was 4 years of bitter conflict at every level he and his opponents 40 it was a time when grown ups behaved like children in the white house and congress in the streets when democrats and republicans seem to put aside everything that they agreed on and focused entirely on everything that they despised about one another.
12:18 am
the $252.00 congressional votes under trump's presidency $104.00 resulted in disputes and clashes some of the initiatives that congress voted on would to block trumps initiatives they voted to prevent votes on things that trump wanted and we're not talking here about things like the wall or deporting illegal migrants we're talking about politicians who supported trump's ideas like pulling out of the iran nuclear deal when he was a businessman suddenly reversing their positions when he became president seemingly out of spite i believe iran will not change and under this agreement it will be able to achieve its dual goals of eliminating sanctions well ultimately retaining its nuclear and non-nuclear power at this time and this place for so many reasons pulling out precipitously without our allies involved does not achieve any of the goals we need to achieve and hurts americans in different ways but politics is
12:19 am
politics right they fought under obama too if a little less nothing new about the media then specifically them losing their mobs and throwing away any semblance of balance out the window. digging up tax records or leaking calls to even investigating trump's foreign ties it's journalism that's what journalists do it's normal no what they outdid themselves on is outright and somewhat petty smear campaigns about how awful trump is for drinking too much diet coke about how much of a cheat trump is that golf about how bad he is at it about how his own wife doesn't want to hold his hand all cheap all dirty and for trump easy to dismiss you are shake do is we are fighting the fake to use people in your profession that great fake news you do. and the resonator your fake is the net result has been
12:20 am
a collapse of trust in the media the news it isn't news when the publication has an evident interest in maligning someone. never in living memory has the establishment tried to sink a president elected by the american people from before he took office with sabotage with leaks with set ups they did everything to make people believe in the trump russia collusion sham the kumi investigation the steel dossier about prostitutes and urination the mueller report all to make impeachment possible the impeachment of the president of the united states impeachable conduct impeachment nonetheless we should begin proceedings to impeach the president move forward with impeachment on this president there's partners on impeachment this impeachment process cost a reported $11000000.00 trying to impeach trump $32000000.00 for the mueller report
12:21 am
countless man hours wasted and they couldn't pull it off at the end of the day trump will be remembered if differently he was a tyrannical megalomaniac a man who drank too much. who sucks at golf and whose hands even his own wife didn't want to hold he was also a man of the people the underdog who rules to drain the swamp that is washington and cost down the corrupt elites whatever version they read in the future the agree on only one thing it was a long and savage fight with the ballot counting extremely tight let's take a look at how it stands at this point and democrat joe biden has the backing of 264 electors on his rival donald trump house 214 the threshold for winning the race is 270 votes and whoever crosses the line 1st will gain the presidency. but
12:22 am
one thing we can already say for sure is that the 2020 votes has been marred by allegations of electoral fraud and arras the truck campaign has filed lawsuits in 3 states pennsylvania michigan and georgia demanding that absentee ballots which arrived on to be election day deadline should not be included for me won in the state of north carolina the ballot counting will take up to 8 more days that's according to the local election commission while nevada officials have postponed ballot counting until thursday delays are expected elsewhere across the u.s. as well.

e.u. members are returning to lock downs following a record in covert cases with in some instances earth 43 percent rise in victims and guns are imposing restrictions following the examples of france and germany in order to slow down the spread france says more than 40000 new cases a day italy is introducing curfews from 10 pm same time there's a growing public anger at the moves let's go live to our europe correspondent peter all of the good to see you good morning apiece it was a situation like there or into day 4 of what's being called lockdown like here in germany this was the plan put in place by the government here in berlin to basically sacrifice people's social lives the expense of keeping open schools and as much of the economy as possible that means that all bars restaurants theatres cinemas gyms they're all closed right now
12:24 am
kindergarten schools any business that you don't have direct physical contact with people they're allowed to remain open with a number of restrictions that are in place the plan was to try and get infections down by 75 percent that's the aim over this month long lockdown late so far though it's been met with mixed reaction by people here in berlin. and even people in my opinion the measures come too late and i think they should have been different shutting down businesses at 10 pm i find absurd it looks like the virus only comes out at night during the day you can do whatever you want but then at night you have to close because the virus comes to those farms they find in justified partly i'm sad about the restaurants but overall i find a lot down necessary for the money it's dark if you have no savings or support it isn't enough in berlin as a freelance musician suddenly everything is gone there isn't enough help at all.

well on wednesday germany recorded 19990 new cases of covert 19 that's over the doomsday scenario that was put forward by angela merkel previously of 19200 a day it's also the 6th consecutive day that germany has seen over 15000 cases another german chancellor has said stick with me on this one lets talk it out through november and then perhaps we can ease some of the restrictions over the christmas period. he said so i don't think toughen up this decision depends on what we can achieve in november so if we have very sensible now then we will be able to allow ourselves more freedom for christmas but i don't think that there will be lavish new year parties we have to wait and see but it will be christmas and the chronic conditions but it should not be a lonely christmas. for. looking over the

border to the west and in france this bleak statistics coming out of libya around the the french health minister telling us that there was one new case of covert 19 in paris every 30 seconds someone was being admitted to hospital every 15 minutes. he paints a lot less. christmassy christmas time for french citizens saying that they are going to have to make plans around the coronavirus because the coronavirus won't make plans around them but earlier this week we did see demonstrations by high school students who were on happy with the level of love the level of social distancing the level of anti coronavirus measures that were put in place in their schools tear gas was used by the police at those demonstrations the schools in france went back on monday.

elsewhere around europe in sweden which had been held up as an example of how to deal with corona virus without having to impose restrictions on people well it looks like they may well end up imposing restrictions on people staff and often the leader of the government saying that they're looking into doing just stops in greece they've taken strict new measures in thessaloniki all non-essential flights have been stopped also there's restrictions on when and for what reasons you can leave your house in portugal the prime minister has ushered in a new state of emergency and in italy a new curfew has come into play as all of europe focuses back on to just how to deal with corona virus how to try and get these numbers down which continue to rise

some some health issues or have some of how this trick about luck the whole time he's paying for a place to live and missing just a month's rent can get you with victims of gunpoint if anything bad happens to any thing that just throws your budget off slightly. better catch up real quick or you're going to have a judgment of possession against you and get addicted anyone that's homeless is treated like garbage people look at you like a monster or someone bad or you chose to be there most of the time it's not the case see how it is to be in the world's richest country. if you can save someone. by the small and direct save. you can then save your thousands of other lives well my response is that the way we should think about what is just is that just as there's a child in a store experiment full of you in this burning building you can say well also just thousands of children around the world millions of children and the world you could

potentially save it way it's lightweight in this situation being facing a burning building just all the time. sputnik 5 has the world. just like its namesake the original. the forest craft of off to leave. orbit the world. who knows what they were. when he made 3 with. his own one. which is not of his immediate all right this is happening. we go out and the reaction has been exactly the same as it was way back then. the world reaction is made of green cheese.
