we have even today, kids in laos full victims of bombs dropped decades ago. this is the us making amends for the tragedy in laos built to the people in need. in that little greetings and sally, you take more than 11000000 infected and close. 225-0000 are dead from the covert. 19 pandemic here in the united states of america. globally, the number sit at a roughly 55000000 cases and over 1300000 souls lost as we enter into the final month of 2021 of the most brutally tragic bizarre and pivotal years. so far here in the early 21st century. but thankfully,
10:32 pm
it appears that help may finally finally be on the way as not one, but 2. too big. pharma conglomerates have recently announced that not one but 2. potential vaccinations against covert 19 are in the works. on nov 9th, the pharmaceutical giant pfizer in conjunction with its german partner, bio and tak, announced a new vaccine with about a 90 percent success rate against the virus. then just 7 days later on monday, november the 16th, modernity announced to the world a coronavirus backs the and that was 94 percent effective in preventing cold with 19 infections. these announcements have left many experts, health care professionals and big pharma executives like pfizer board member. dr. scott gottlieb, exclaiming to cable news host and talking heads worldwide that quote, the combination of the fact that a lot of the population will have already had coded combined with the fact that
10:33 pm
will be vaccinating the public with a highly effective vaccine. we could effectively end end of this pandemic in 2021 with our technology. but while ending covert nineteen's reign is without a doubt the best way possible for us to kick off 2021. that doesn't mean there isn't any controversy and whispers of conspiracies surrounding these vaccines and their potential implementation. for example, just days after pfizer's big announcement, common dreams, journalist, julie conley, reports that mass purchases of the vaccine by the world's richest countries have left more than 85 percent of the global population, namely the world's poorest. without any way to access this vaccination, then there is also the civil liberty issues being brought up surrounding the disbursement of the vaccine and the potential orwellian monitoring of its recipients. like the c.d.c.'s be safe program for essential workers that involves
10:34 pm
smartphone monitoring, a potential vaccination side effects, or mit's recent development of a new way of transmitting a patient's vaccine history. by get this storing the data in a pattern of dye, invisible to the naked eye. that the that is delivered under the skin at the same time as the vaccine. creepy. yes. but may be necessary. let the debate begin as we start watching the hawks. if you will, in a city street. that is so slick. see the prizes for you always state . i'll see you rolls royce, mass graves, see this least systemic deception is at least show, which is i would be so open the field as well. normal watching our entire over and i'm lisa and joining us today to discuss
10:35 pm
the controversy surrounding the potential vaccinations and their implementation is legal, media analyst lion-el of line. only always a pleasure sir. how are you doing today? just fine or thank you. so a lot of, well, no one will argue that a safe and effective vaccine against covert 19 is a bad thing. there are many, however, that feel that there are way, way, way, way too many unanswered questions surrounding open to a potential vaccination program. what are some of those major unanswered questions and some of the degrees of critique that we're not seeing these days around this vaccination? will to my friends of truth, i will tell you this much. this is not an anti vaccine or address. i'm not talking about advocacy of vaccines or anything. i'm talking about something which you alluded to. mit has announced that when the vaccine is going to be given to me. there is a device used called in my crew needle, which will deliver
10:36 pm
a quantum dot guy a little nano crystal, a little little molecule of sugar that will provide on your person. the ability for individuals with a, an application to a smartphone, to read by virtue of this invisible but yet iridescent pulse message vaccine information. now the purpose for this, my friends is for those countries that are unable to deal with the pay burner and direct and being able to keep track of vaccines. this will allow health officials or anybody to walk up with a cell phone or sometimes smartphone with this application and just scan to see when you have been vaccinated and it supposedly is good for 5 years. now, do i have to give you the implications of what this means without going full
10:37 pm
conspiracy theory to a term? which means nothing. let me explain. they're going to mark you. mark you like cattle. we have never been marked. we've never been tagged to. does this sound familiar? mark tend to serialize. i don't want to go full. god went on you here and you know, make it work. but nobody is even considering this when i'm talking about carry something in your wallet that says i have a driver's license. already been talking about something on your passport. we're not even talking about something that you carry on a smartphone. we're talking about something on your body that is going to be there and i'm going to also read this, my dear friends. i wouldn't suggest that any government is not going to be on the level, but do what i really know. what's going to be there for ever and my submitting
10:38 pm
myself? am i going to be in on star for the rest of my life? and i'm going to be trackable. i don't know, because nobody's asking any questions. people are asking questions. all i know is we don't know anything about it, leaving these vaccinations entirely in the hands of big pharma who as we all know from the recent opioid epidemic, almost always puts profits over people. going to create a vaccination gap between the rich and the poor. around the world. yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes and, but here's their argument. unfortunately, big pharma is the only body don't evil who can do big things to make big solutions for big problems. and it's always the way that is always. so we can get to that because here is the thing that i want and i'm so appreciative of shows like this. i want to spend time taking all of the issues and talking about nobody's asking
10:39 pm
anybody to critically think critical thinking has gone the way of, i guess, the spin tune or the dodo bird. nobody's asking this. and i'm not suggesting that we should not have a vaccine, but i want people to understand that. is this going to be something that could be hoarded? and also i haven't even gone into the testing efficacies. i'm sure you've known to the great work that bobby kennedy, jr and others have done many been talking about that. but i also don't want to go biblical because i'm not a difficult scholar by any stretch of the imagination, but i have heard mark of the beast my entire life, but i was never sure what that meant. but we are now again serializing, you're going to be walking around with this now, and you know, my friends, now ticketmaster and others are saying, if you want to go to a concert, you're going to be able to have to have something on your ticket that allows a stand to see, and that's one thing to scan your ticket to see when you receive the test or not.
10:40 pm
but what if you were in the scare and china, they've been doing this in terms of public transportation. let me ask you my friends, the following. we haven't even gotten into the fact of whether these should be mandatory and i didn't go into it not even talking about. but you could one day be precluded from entrance into say, a concert store, drugstore employment, unemployment being public, transportation, subways. if you are scanned and you are quite, i know it's not registering correctly, and we haven't even talked about malfunction or even of energy reaction. so this just slipped under the radar, so to speak. but here's the thing. this article is that in not since last year, this is going around, this is the date, the height is in plain sight. i'm not super. a researcher here,
10:41 pm
i just look at this. and this is a thing known forever. and again, the reason for this is to is to help those people who have trouble with paperwork. it's called on person medical records. what i think, i think the idea, nobody is even. yeah. i think the idea, i think that you bring up a lot of great point because i think the idea of like, you know, when you're using something like this in a, in a part of the world where there isn't a lot of good infrastructure, there is a lot of good record keeping it could be helpful. however, if you make it part of the national, you know, as you say, branding of getting handing out these vaccines that it can create some areas where you have to question that. because look, we all know human beings, governments don't have a good history when it comes to putting tattoos on people as anyone from world war 2, and before will tell you, you know, so i mean again, and these are questions that we have to ask as a society and have to ask, are we ready for this or are there other ways if there are better ways of doing this? you're one of those people who is always out there asking the right questions at
10:42 pm
the right time and maybe even the wrong time. but thank you so much as always we're coming on line. always, a pleasure having you on sir. thank. while u.s., president, donald trump continues to try and create a constitutional crisis in order to hold on to his presidency and keep his creditors at bay. other nations around the world are going through their own election crisis, like the south american nation of peru, which is legitimately plunged into constitutional chaos. after that country's interim president manuel moreno called it quits this past week and he stepped down following a priest clad police crackdown that killed 2 protesters and injured dozens of others. artie's alex mahela bridge has the story there on the other after less than a week in office, who is interim president. manuel marino has stepped down. i want to make it known to the entire nation that i present my revokable resignation as president

of the republic. i call for peace and unity of all peruvians, that protests which have been going on for months, hit new heights when meeting or came to power last week. after and teaching his popular predecessor martin discard his car as accused of bribery and mismanaging the country's response to the coronavirus. he pulled one of the world's longest and strictest lock downs. it made march a move. many say devastated the nation's economy. well, the death toll continues to surge. as for the interim president manuel merino, he has stated that congress acted within the law in making it chief of state. however, protesters say the move by legislators was nothing less than a parliamentary coupe. i am protesting against the institutions that allowed merino to assume the presidency. he is not our president proving authorities harshly clamp down on protesters who oppose the government's actions. accusations of police brutality during rallies are widespread,
10:44 pm
and there are reports that 40 people have gone missing since the latest round of demonstrations began. the violent actions of security forces spurred, prominent peruvians and government and the business community to demand that marino step down. the politician did just that after a day of unrest in which 2 young protesters were killed and half of his cabinet resigned and facing or maybe no, no please. mr. medina cannot stay one more minute in the government palace after what he has done to the peruvian people. i urge congress of the republic that today we fix this constitutional crisis is a move that well, peruvians cheered the decision on the street. that these leaders are preparing for what comes next. congress called an emergency session on sunday to find a replacement for but many view this as the worst political crisis for the nation in 2 decades. and some analysts say the situation has put peru's fragile democracy into a precarious position. parliamentary and presidential elections are scheduled for

april and hopes are a newly selected interim president can hold things together until then for watching the hawks, i'm alex my high leverage. and in fact, earlier today, peru announced that the country would choose french francisco as the next caretaker, president's agusta is the country's 3rd president in a week. hopes are that he can help end this crisis as it continues. all right, my friends, it's time for us to go to break for remember, you can also start watching the hawks, which are on the man through the brand new portable t.v. app which is available on all platforms. coming up, we delve into the accusations of rape and violence that has emerged at one of the biggest universities in the united states. southern gothic stay tuned for watching .

join me every thursday on the alex simon show. and i'll be speaking to guest on the world of politics. school, that's less, i'm show business. i'll see you then trump is facing probably his last battle as president will be tried over the generals and by his foreign policy pick up there with a neo cons again. back in control was always on the bull, but most national big city writes like you john, but you know, jesus and many dangers blatantly to it's also a city where up 230-0000 crimes are committed every other
10:47 pm
girl. the last one you did look at your mosque. it's still through the reserve least one police officer think every 200 residents in russia's capital lost on the english. i think it was due to my trip that they were not going to give up boysen. you know, it was them who would have to last me to the movement that swept america as women came forward, forcing industries to hold man accountable for their sexual assault and harassment isn't done yet. the movement made headlines, bringing down some of america's most famous faces. like bill o'reilly, matt lauer,
10:48 pm
and of course the poster child of me to harvey weinstein. but for every famous face that got dismissed, many more still lurk and pray from powerful positions. and i don't just mean hollywood illegal politicians. college athletes are also hiding their sexual misconduct in plain sight. case in point, the easy in a state university. ellis, you have had more than a few complaints filed against their prize running back derrius guys. in early spring 2016, a member of the ellis you diving team, told her coach in the athletic department administrator. big ice raped her friend after she passed out at a party. in april 27th team, a 2nd rape allegation against guys emerged. there are safeguards that are supposed to be in place to protect against campus sexual violence. but that's not what's happening in ellis, you at all. in every case, university leaders either didn't believe the women chose not to investigate or didn't even bother to call the police. so guys just kept running,
10:49 pm
running the football scoring points for ellis, you and running from accountability of the sexual abuse allegations against him. a usa today investigation found that things are a lot more grim and ellis, you, and not just limited to guyse. a pattern of ignoring complaints, denying the rights of victims and woefully leaving them in danger is the norm for the university. in fact, at least 7 ls, you officials knew wide receiver drake davis was physically abusing his girlfriend, a female fellow student athlete. and they did nothing in a separate situation, a fraternity member, sexually assaulted 2 women, but was not removed from classes he shared with one of the victims. and it's not just athletes that are getting a free pass usa today found 3 cases where sexual so perpetrators were not suspended or expelled in these student athletes at all. joining us now, some pakis devastating usa investigation and more is author and legal analyst.
10:50 pm
welcome agent. thanks for having me. well, adrian, you've written a book on sexual harassment in the workplace. you lecture on it and have spoken out many times about campus sexual abuse in the era of need to why do you think campus sexual abuse? like what we've seen it eludes you, is that being taken seriously. unfortunately, sexual abuse, sexual violence against women in particular isn't something that individual stakes seriously. even post need to, as we saw today, was largely about morphed into focusing on very wealthy prominent white women and experiences that they had with one particular individual or a series of individuals. and yet, when it comes to society at large and the world in which we need to live is just a common occurrence of every day. actually getting some kind of action to be taken on your behalf. it's very difficult, especially when our society does not make it a focused and sexual violence. you know,
10:51 pm
one of the many important questions here is what liability is there for universities that just sweep sexual abuse under the rug. i mean that schools like, you know, as you were so much money, years made from having a top football team. do you think that that element contributes to the reaction to the running backs case of him just getting away scot free every time? unfortunately i do think that definitely plays a role in part because it's not individual brings considerable power to the table even if it's just by virtue of their athletic skills. the fact is that they generate money for this school. and also when you kind of with that alongside the fact that our society is not focused on eliminating sexual violence, it's kind of a double whammy, and it largely be falls young women who are attending these institutions and our school or what eles new possibly has to luhansk before really gets trump administration came in with betsy, the boss and her kind of carving out title 9. was that in terms of ensuring that
10:52 pm
you have that federal law that prohibited sex discrimination in education. and the parameters that were set up largely by the obama administration and what they called the dear colleague memo and a lot of percussion or caution that i am different parameters in terms of how we interact with and handle media choose. and these kind of circumstances and unfortunately a lot of those have been rolled back and major and it's not just athletes that are taking advantage of women on campuses. how do you think rape culture plays into campus? sexual assault culture is definitely a problem. as we've seen recently with the movements we've seen on our society, especially those that are are right extremist, and we see them being based upon it's kind of very neat, toxic masculinity. we have in felt proud to wayne's, all of these individuals coming together that are essentially invested in subjugating women. and now particularly young people,
10:53 pm
all those that are on their way into college are unfortunate to be indoctrinated by that because we hear it being the association. me and when you gents, they see the pride in that and they want to be a part of it. so they bring that with them to a college culture. and when you do not have any kind or cautions in twenty's and also a student ministration, that is ensuring that it's taking sexual violence seriously. all you're going to continue to have is victimizing, stand without any kind of accountability. you mentioned earlier, your title in the trumpet, ministration member, but she did bosses department of education kind of point crossed and loose with campus sexual assault and the rules around it and how people can comply back against a common issues and sexual assault are under reporting. you know, the victim and perpetrator relationships and lacks a policy of force within the schools. you know, what can be done at a federal government level to campuses sexual assault and within the university
10:54 pm
itself there needs to be a crackdown. the need to be more investigation and also penalties issued. what we've seen with alice miller is that the department of education under the obama administration had launched a sex discrimination investigation into that school back on august 28th. meaning by, unfortunately, that investigation where he dropped the trump administration in july 20 5th at was because the individual didn't want to cooperate anymore. but the reality is that's a 3 year spanning investigation. that individual had probably graduated college at that point in time. because if you do not seek to render justice in an extent, in fashion, conducting these investigations in an expedient fashion, to make sure that you get the information you need and come to a conclusion, then you're just essential. and you know, people are going to want to contribute any more they want to move on with their lives. so actually having that investment where you have investigations and that there are penalties that can go
10:55 pm
a long way in terms of so topping this sexual violence, rape culture that is going on in the college campuses. and agent, is there anything that can be done in terms of empowering the women? because oftentimes we talk about, you know, what we want to see happen to the guys in the perpetrators. but there are still women who are battered and bruised and go through their lives, carrying on the trauma of having this happen to them, regardless of what ends up happening to the perpetrators themselves. what is your, or what one of you talked about at some of your sessions in some of your writings around what young women can do to help you know, move forward after something like this is tragically happened to them. everybody's journey and a friend, an individual and you need to band and they have to do what works for them. whether it's speaking out or in counseling, but definitely knowing your options and being cognizant of a side effect and how it can impact your lying. and being aware of that and thinking the support that you need back can go the distance. but i think the main goal is to focus on individuals or the rank ers, as they know they're the problem and not the women. and if you don't,
10:56 pm
it should not fall on them to fix the situation. could the group you more than other does, one of the biggest problems we see in the male side of culture is the word and you know that men are not stepping forward to police themselves at a rate that needs to happen in order for movements like me to and moving beyond what we saw happen at all as you are. and i want to say thank you so much for coming on today and educating our audience pleasure having you on and keep up the great work out there. thank you so much. i think that's a real proof of his of men have to start stepping up and really policing this if we're going to see this stuff because it comes from a lot of these cases come from them to begin with. no, you're absolutely correct. i think that's one of the failures of me to aside from it, you know, just being tossed to wealthy white women from the, the other. the other side of it is that men have to learn how to judge, how to showcase the character of what it means to be a man outside of sexual prowess. and we're still a long way from seeing that happen him in half to be able to assert
10:57 pm
a certain level of example for other young men about how they are to treat women and hold each other accountable. if you see something that you don't like that you know was sexual harassment, you've got to step up and grab a hold of your boys and say stop. this is wrong and teach them you know and hold them accountable. already everybody that is our show for you today. remember in this world we are not told that we are loved up, so i tell you all, i love you, i am tired rove. and george and i let me keep on watching all those hawks out there and have a great day and night everybody. the world is driven by a dream shaped by one person of those who

in a world transformed what will make you feel safe, isolation or community? are you going the right way or are you being led away? what is true? what is faith? in a world corrupted, you need to descend to join us in the depths or a maid in the shallows. a new gold rush is underway in ghana. thousands of ill equipped workers are flocking to the gold fields, hoping to strike it rich. here's a good day. oh, children are torn between gold. my family was very poor. i thought i was doing my

best to get back to school. which side will have the strongest appeal? well you give us a little, you know, we're going to avoid internal political upheavals holding early parliamentary elections is inevitable staring down. 4 the barrel of mass protests, the president of armenia, calls the government's for the government's resignation. it follows a week of public anger over the peace deal between armenia and azerbaijan, which halted the conflict in a garden a car. obama, meanwhile, displaced under the new deal. armenians tear down and torched their homes as they are forced out of areas now controlled by azerbaijan. they say they don't want to leave them for who they see as the enemy. and we had a good life, and now we are tearing down the houses. we build stuff so i know one thing for sure . i wouldn't even want my any means.
