eyes off that prize is retrocession. which is to bring the district of columbia back under the auspices of maryland because it used to be a diamond in half went back to virginia and the other half remain the district of columbia but it was originally maryland's so some people are saying if you're going to get us back to maryland i don't want that either it doesn't i don't like that idea the crab cakes here are much better they can't be conflated with maryland crab cakes that would be an outrage. but it also denies us 2 senators right and that's what they're really afraid of is because that would be a basically a permanent senate majority not for not the republicans the republicans would never get the control of the senate again it's a lot easier to see is like 93 percent democrat it is and it's a lot easier because it's a small city to elect progressive people who would not do things that the republicans would be very happy about so the excuse is they they've given over time in the willing out again it's a crime laden city it's corrupt marion barry was corrupt every city is corrupt
