the new chair would be a political appointee even though they are not a participant or participate in a political party but the republicans are going to choose from the general assembly who now runs our state elections certainly the general assembly now has the power to be able to overtake a local board of election or remove an election director of their choosing for whatever reason and the standard does not outline the law because it was very ambiguous there now they 'd would be able to overturn. decertify elections and ultimately change the the will of the voters that is not only undemocratic un-american it's contrary to the values that they believe that they mean that they claim they believe in and so this is what happens when partisanship overtakes the power in the will of the people we begin to the public policy decisions may not on the basis of what's good for people but what's good for political interests and that spells the end to this democracy and ultimately to this united states of
