sides. but recently he's done some amazing things like, oh, i don't know a lot of school to open up really pushing all of the limitations that he'd put on. he's even sending checks, refund checks, or stimulus checks that are just out of california budget. so do you still feel that discourse in the streets of california today that you might have felt in 6 months ago when this kind of movement started started? yeah, the answer is no, i'm. i'm someone who goes for gavin newsome last time around 2018. i had nothing to do with the republican party in california, still don't. and yet i supported this recall, right. i'm pro recall, but like a lot of california, i don't like what's behind door number 2. and that's the california republican alternatives. and i think for gavin newsome has proven again, is he here the lousy leader is a lousy governor, but he's a great campaigner. he's great a politicking. and he has outmaneuvered outmatched and outwitted the california republicans who really are the gang that can't shoot straight. i would disagree with brock on one thing. i don't think there's any chance at all. the wisdom is

probably true. gavin newsome will succeed today. he'll be back this recall. i'm not saying he deserves to the republican party really bundle the execution of this campaign against them. and that's what i want to bring up for, because sometimes republicans can be known for not being too smart to give strategy regard selections because they split their vote amongst multiple candidates. one of the 24 republicans really 5 main ones that got a lot of attention. so did you, do you think the fact that there were 5 main candidates on the ballot help or hurt the mission if there was just one person running against? do some, do you think would be a better situation for the republicans going into election day and certainly would be a little bit better. but it turns out i really do think this is a binary election and even avenue some seem to understand this. he said, if you do recall me, you're going to have larry elder as the governor, larry elder is for all intents and purposes, the choice for governor, at least among the republicans, and certainly among those who are fighting against loose. and i think larry elder

is a fantastic candidate. i disagreed that he's not a good campaigner with your other my other guess here. i think he's fantastic. i happened to know larry elder, he's a good friend of mine and i think he's almost exactly the right issues. he's speaking to the issues that the people are very concerned about. and the very thing that cost them to seek a recall 1st place, we're going to wind us, i feel about it and i feel it's very much like the breaks it ceiling where it went off. that was going to lose. but sure enough, one that might be very well the situation here. ok, well let's look over though to brock. you to ruben's point at this point, right. i mean to, to room, to brock's point president biden came in at the in and campaign. now he treated even out today, so do you think that either he was coming in because of desperation that he said ok, i need to get some push that or be is it coming in to say i want to take claim because i know he's going to win over, well, and i just want to show the foreshadowing and 2022 of how popular democrats still are with people. which one was it caused biden to go to california

a lot. it takes a lot to be able to never run for office and all the time you're running for governor. i mean, give politicians and both party a little bit of credit be the republican or democrat. there is a game here. and the people who've been doing it for a long time, i gather, nuisance and doing it for 30 years. i mean, you're going to be better at it, certainly than some novice and off the street. but get some novice out the 3 did get elected in 2016 novice fear was a business span, non politician. i think that's what all those politicians look like. that kind of gives them that hope that dream on both sides the aisle. that being said, i'm going to give you probably the last word to you on this one, brock bigger picture. regardless. they win or not. do you think that this is actually going to be something if let's say gavin's able to hold his seat, the democrats are going to go into 2022 and go look, see we still have momentum. republicans, they're not as popular as they make it out to be. do you think this is actually going to be used to be more of kind of a to push both sides going into 2020 to the spring board? almost. yeah, i think that's a great point. scotty and i do think it's going to be yours to the fact that you
