5:32 pm
just lost one of their, their foremost tears. but it's a great show. this kid's great. he's a tv host broadcast or media personality. i see was acting in a soap opera which blew my mind. i think he is also got a new obstacle course competition show. can't believe he beat the craig kilborn not for this but kill them. they're giving a call frogger now streaming on peacock. i live in 2020, i live in the future when i say frogger is now streaming on peacock and everybody knows that. i mean, this is called brent. how are you just here for the leon crossway roughly. so i didn't know whether it's leon out of the box or dick has a mirror and cosmo jacobo ozzy, but i thought i thought i'd work my way. android. oh yeah. did heisman trophy winner back in the day. he's in the esteem club and you are in the esteem club.
5:33 pm
people get to talk about frogger and peak and that is a real english. believe me. i think it really is a quandary because the nights gotta go. i mean, you guys straight ahead. what st knocked off a year and i find nate infinitely. well, i shouldn't say, but i think he'll do great over there. he's on that broadens this whole thing. but are you going to stay with a try? are you going to look for a 4th? i don't know, it's like do we just do the full get a li like rush power tree. other thing i don't know if we got the pallet to do the fly by night thing, man. i think we need a new guitar. we're probably going to add the other kids good to the i always think of him as jason, like a foreigner, if he was being portrayed by errol flynn, he's got the dashing, sort of half. but the young lady kate, i think is their name. i would get a for so i just a you guys are so welcoming. i find somebody who could play and i think they could
5:34 pm
play in that sandbox. it's fun. you guys strode around beautifully and we're just so used to the 4th. and i'm a big fan, i watch it all the time that i hope you get a 4th, but you can't let it be anybody, but you've got to find a ride 1st thing because you guys have chemistry out the resume. well, thank you. yeah, we don't want to make the the gary sharon mistake we're, we're like lee roth and hagar. we can bring it in. anybody. eddie is the pallet. ah, did you listen to that van halem 3 album. neither did i trash. so we can are, there is your, on this thing that's going away inside on the references. i'm excited. i'm dealing with a fellow invalid over here and it's i listen dennis, i'm taking this thing over. i have to put my cards on the table. you or someone when i was young, who i thought was so cool because you did the comedy and you did sports and the movies. i'm like, i want to be like that when i grew up and i take a step further during the course scene, everybody's binge and this show and that show whatever. i went back,
5:35 pm
i started watching football games and i pulled up the youtube back in the fall of 2001 the jets and the dolphins played on monday night football. and it came to me known as the monday night miracle. you were in the boots and i laughed my ass off, man, i loved that era and i hadn't visited in years. but man, you talked a lot more football than i remember, it wasn't just wise cracks and these server references you were really into the game. and at the very end of the game, right, anybody listening. 8 over time games, great, come back and my football history, john hall kicks the game, wanting to go for the jets and al michaels, and all his gravitas says, and that's the greatest game we've seen. and monday night football, good night, everybody. and then it's got a start blow dry and couple of hair, and i just lost it. i laughed out loud and you said that an a, b, c, and you just killed it and they paid a couple. right. and you got, it was great. well that your brother, i appreciate that i got to tell you quick, i'll be in a story when you're al has rob a time we're doing
5:36 pm
a minnesota biking game one night at chris carter. but arguably, the guy who worked the sidelines better than anybody. the fred astaire of keeping his feet and hurts that i go on one of those sketches there, wrapping it on the sidelines. that a guy's bandage and the air out. who is a genius? a tv brought is like gary away or certain guys just know how to d t v. but if you make them laugh, you can gather himself. so i spent my whole 2 years there to try to get them all off the script and start to laugh and people will love that at home. so i said, you know, al, i haven't seen that much fabric used as they put the guys bandage on his ankle since the environmental artist christo rap the park, new bridge in paris. and now it's nice, but which cuts his voice to the home viewer? the looks of it, and guess what the are you talking about? all or omar is done in the truck, any self and artificial? not on my phone. i hear no al christo,
5:37 pm
environmental art is solid reference reference. 6 months ago, i thought if they could hear this of what the cow brands of the world would allow my guy, huge gold, gold they call those, you know, they go those easter eggs now and these d, v, d 's and stuff like that. i want to dvd dennis miller commentary on monday football games, i'll pay through the nose for it on. so that's very kind of tell me about these shows. it's funny. i've interviewed a couple guys who host the ninja war warrior, and i am so touched when you watch the info. they send you and you want to brush up on what somebody is doing. so i watch them. you know, you can kind of from a far be an intelligence you gotta disparage in this endeavor and then you watch it . and i was so touched by how much these participants wanted. i don't know progress going to be like that. but at least on that choice, i got these people, but i can't believe how hard they work. they get to the finish line. their kids are there, the wife it's might as well be the tour defrances. it's
5:38 pm
a little more touching. some of these competition shows that i would have thought yeah it's, it's like it's tiger hugging charlie on the 18th green at augusta and finally, winning another master. let there's some of that. i think dennis, i think you're all over. people are ready to do what we do now and make fun of things that just tear them apart. and then you watch it. and you're like, wow, this is a mother of 3 single mother and you know, all, my gosh, just competing, but then don't get me wrong. she's not going to jump off the head of a hippo and do a triple flip. and we're going to laugh about it, but look, you work in this thing long enough and you've been in the game for decades. you hope that someone ever comes you with a cool opportunity. and the moment i knew, i'm like, i think i want to do the show. they said to me, they're like, so here's, we're thinking brand. we'd love you to call the action like it's a football game, but go really heavy on the 80th movies references. and i'm like, you came to the right place, i am your guy. i will do monday night football. it's the breakfast club and if you want a payment for that, i got you and that's what we did. that's cool. and i've got a,
5:39 pm
i can't believe david juniors now host michelle because i work with david wayne senior. who is one of the sons of bitches. i've ever met in my life. and now his kid, the kid he used to bring does, is tell me about his jobs. the funny, like the old man. he's really good looking like the old man, really funny, really observational. it's a weird thing then. it's because when they 1st told me about the job, it came through and it was like, it's going to be you and damon away. it's like our, i love david way and you know, and that's blank man. and the last boy scout the living color like a little bit older than me, but i know all the stuff and i didn't notice the junior, so i showed up and i was like, you're not a dame. oh daemon with junior and i'm sure he gets that is all the time, but he's just like his old man. you know what i loved about it. we had a lunch, i never met him before, and we sit down and we're talking to the weight chairs, and we order whenever and is our get to know your lunch break the before we work together and try to create some kind of chemistry. and i just got to tell you right
5:40 pm
now, man, and i was a huge living color fan. i was all your dad movies. i was all your uncles movies. i love the movie white chicks and. and he could have been like, yeah. and he was like, i love what just do the movie as well. and it's like, i was like, that's great. so i may do it. and so he was so cool and so laid back, you know, it's like you go up the cooper man. and like, i love you like it is like, yeah, i know everybody does and he's cool about it. that was them. when junior listen tv insist you develop chemistry and there's nothing more petrifying if you sit down at that 1st lunch. and it's like lead right off the bat, chris, now we have to contrived chemistry. if you actually have a rhythm with each other right off the bat, i guess she just got a lot easier. you had both. yeah. we're going to yeah, but sure. and alyssa, that i'm like the old oakland a's when they won 3 championships, at some point it's about wedding so i can walk either face or if it's going to be somebody you know, don't really like in the locker room. i can make that work,
5:41 pm
but it's always a little easier if it's more convivial than we are family. yeah. pop star joined the boys. you know it's, it's always easier to do it that way. then we hate each other. but we're going to do is we're talking to calibrate and he's got this new show called frogger. it's over on peacock, you should give it a tumble, but the money show for me is this good morning, football thing. he also sees, does soap operas and i believe a princeton boy. and i'm just trying to think when you know you're talking about einstein, when you 1st went to jail shows on your vide, was that it or what, what, what was in your mind when you press when? yeah, i mean listen, most of my friends are economics majors that are now on yachts right now, watching this on their phone and they have strong, why fi and their yacht? so thanks for watching. i would have english major dennis, i, i went, i went that route and you know, it's funny that you mentioned the hollywood thing and einstein,
5:42 pm
he's got his whole history there. the big deal when i was in college was remember when ron howard and russell crowe made that movie a beautiful minor professor, john, now he was actually there and he's died now, but he was there and you would see him walking around campus. and he was just as eccentric as you think. and i remember that was really cool cuz when they came, when i was a senior in russell crowe's on set, shooting the movie like right on campus. and i was an extra in that movie because i was a student, i was around and you can see me behind russell crowe. so the 1st professional set i was ever on was ron howard set with an academy award winner wrote it wasn't, you know, some the world perkins lamps. yeah. i got like the champagne, se, so i'm like, i think i want to do this. and then a couple years later i was on the nbc on days that it was not quite the same but a little bit. all right, we're talking to cow bread and the new show will come back and we'll talk more about the football this season coming up. but the new show is an obstacle course.
5:43 pm
competition called progress over on peacock, which is one of the cesar i remember for a while disney, when they wanted to do a film where they showed already all of a sudden it over dimension films. and i'm sure that sure. with nbc state, yet a thing that they consider to be the staff tributary and putting it over on the way to mention was the aureole, the subsidiary. i don't know that stuff. give me an example or a movie or in that arial that had to go to talk about it during the break. this isn't a good because i need to know that we have over here right up to this. dennis miller plus one. the ah ah, the
5:44 pm
ah ah, working room or should she popped in? she said, well, i'm getting ready to go shopping for christmas. and we, we said there was a good device to another, shooting another safe part of american life shattered by violence. the gunman was armed with an a r 1570 automatic rifle. when the issue comes home, it's time to act when we're silent on this issue. the other side wind by default,
5:45 pm
lady that lives over there. i was walking one of the dogs. she said, why do you wear again? were you scared? doesn't i took it off and i think the people need to take responsibility in their own hands and be prepared if those kinds of weapons were less available. we wouldn't have a lot of shootings and we certainly wouldn't have the number that i the folks welcome back to dennis miller plus one, having a good time with cal brett. he is a tv host broadcast. you got a new show over a peacock called frogger. it's like an obstacle course competition. he is on the best t v show on the air or the best football show on the or my mind. good morning, football on the nfl network and they, they had a cortez. now they have a trio looking for a 4th, but i guarantee it's an entertaining way to set up the weekend football. let's talk
5:46 pm
a little football. you know, i was thinking 17 games. it's so funny. i was listening to the nfl network as i drove in today. and they were talking about records, they're predicting just so funny to hear somebody say, i think they're going to win the division at 9 and 8. and i'm thinking, geez, the times of change from when i 1st started watching 14. and it makes me laugh at them a say shot in billiards that good dallas pulled off. he over hugs, kids draft night. all they ever say to them is listen brother, i can't play thursday. get my kicked on thursday. i've got a heal up and then they said 16 game school. maybe keep it there though. who is the big go? i'm paul. love them on thursday, 17 games people are careening into each other like tron, for god's sakes. i was just thinking, i think 17 has to be it. i know they want to make money, but they're going to get these kids beat up at this point. your thoughts and i know you can't say anything. he gets good. it's reached pick,
5:47 pm
pick time. i think i and yet dennis, i don't think they're done. they're still supposed to meet on that bone. i really mean that it's, if we're going to do 16 moved the 17 is the really that much of a difference between $17.18 personally, i'm with you. i have spent my whole life same. maybe a tenant 6. they can get a playoff. wow. they were 13 and 3, and every time i participated someone's record. now i have to say i 9 and what the hell is it now? 8, it's a tough. it's stumbling blocks for me. and you mentioned the thursday night football thing used to be and i know i know a lot players and we tax and communicate that the 2nd, the schedule to come out. they look for their by week it, did we get screwed up the week for buyer to be get the late one. it's not that anymore. they look and they say, when do i have to be on the dam thursday night football game? they look at that before the by that tells you they're more concerned about the short week than they are being over the water cabana, wherever they're going on the by we, that's where we are right now. yeah. because you know, there guys,
5:48 pm
you get kicked out a month's sunday and they need to be in a whirlpool with a slip for the next 6 days. just to get it out there the week after. now they're not allowed to have the pot, which many of them say, listen, i don't want to, i don't want to take some of the anti and florida laboratories and the things we want me to say. i just want to kick back and get it together way, but they're going out 3 days later. and like i said, that was pulled off. one of the great mr. x of all time, extensively being the carry of carrying avuncular grandfather. but having these guys know the 17 games and some more players that you know what i was a kid, jimmy bryan game, 1700 yards one year and 14 game season. you talking about $130.00 per, you can gain a 1000 yards of the 17 yards season at 60 yards, a game which is complete. that used to make your 2nd string here. if you got 60 it is, it's screw the record book up in some ways to it reminds me of, you know, my grandparents saying that they bought their 1st home for $20000.00 a night. does that sound like all that? so romantic, that's like you're in for a 1000 yards by what we savvy like what,
5:49 pm
what are we dealing with? we're going to have a, we're gonna have a 6000 yard passer maybe this year than it's, it's ridiculous. but again, we're going to get some more games. i'm so i don't think is that far off like it's never underestimate the reach and those hugs they pay off. ma'am, those dr. my hugs are know, are now, you know, i watch the 247 show or whatever it's called. and, well how can i say this? if i was a football player, there seems to be a certain guys have schwab, the v about football. i remember cow or had at the tune, i had it. i remember when that kid from ohio state came up, terry glen, and its 1st season he played for the tune up in new england and they said, how was the kid today? and he said she was ok, i remember they all, my god, and then glen on the back end of the career, comes around, he's a free age and he can play wherever he wants. he goes with the tune down and the big di, because he wanted somebody to get his face and do the great santini and challenge
5:50 pm
him. and i think the guy should play a role bus brand of football. i think listen, these guys are putting themselves in harm way. they at least want to feel that they're like sort of in a rough sport. they're rough guys, when they over think it and i watch somebody shows where the coaches are correcting them on technique. after every play, and i'm thinking maybe the coaching staff a little less is more sometimes it feels over managed to me for such an innately violent game, your thoughts on the current state of pro football. fascinating and i are the storm right now and what you're talking about is new york city because we got both. we got the union, the yang, this guy jo judged for the new york. jive there coach. he will give you your pat conroy pick, pick up basketball and the driveway taskmaster. i know i love conrad. i love santini. i love them off beach music. however, just guys retiring because he is what i call a touch the line coach back when you're in high school and you're running gas or if you do not touch the damn line, we're going to run another one. i don't care if you're making 13000000
5:51 pm
a year. he's dentist, joe judges. they keep the tape on coach, either coach back in the day. we're after our practice. we practice like crap. he storms in the locker room and screams, keep the table and keep that safe. i'm. we're going back out when we go back out and do the dumb practice again. that's joe judge. he's going to have the right or die with that in the same market in different colors. you have robert sala, robert sol as a beautiful, bald headed man who has a fascinating background and is player friendly. i don't care if you touch the line . you can have a cell phone break if you want to, and i and we're, it's piece planet perfectly because everybody is in morning about judge and roberts, our commands that, oh yeah, we had no pads the day light practice. the guys feel really good about their bodies . watch the new york media 2 sides on this because you got your old tune up there. and then you got sol, who's this sean midway, cliff kingsbury and type player friendly dude. and we'll find out which one works. i haven't done, it's going to be the new guy folks, if you're not watching that show, you saw perfect in capsule,
5:52 pm
asian. why this kid's the bus? the football announcer to the times. we live in cal brad. he, he, you mediately located where it's right in the same city across the bridge and delineated it perfectly. that's exactly it. and well, that's why maybe they don't need a 4th host over there. maybe they've got to give you more time to read because that was a brilliant insight into that. now listen, i was reading about the sean watson. they're kind of in this weird place now where, what did i hear the phrase hold out. it's now hold in where they can, they can get all the, you know, the, the benefits of it. they're not holding out, but the team itself is stuck in an odd place with it. i think they even kept them on the roster. when they talked about the sean g watson, having a contra tom with the front office for the houston, texas, does anybody stop to think? i never hear anybody say, maybe the sean watson knew what was trying to get out of houston. maybe he knew that there was no happy ending to be had there because he paid for every happy
5:53 pm
ending in the city over 2 year period. maybe whenever they think, what could they have said that the sean watson got him. so i think he knew he had the blow dodge, i think he knew he had burned a lot of bridges. they're not in place here. i like cali, i'm happy got the shot. i mean, they talk about the rooney roll good for him. this is a life or the guy didn't thing. i hope. i hope it goes. 7989, something that's respectable and it's a glorious story. there. i get watson out of town. the more. what do you, what are you going to do? he's not going to play for you again. i got him marchers outside the stadium. so i would move on from your thoughts on the show there. listen, i'd love to do that to a and that they're saying hold on a 2nd. we're not going to get our clock cleaned on this one. if we're getting rid of this great, great player, we're getting something for it. and everybody else is saying, we're not giving anything for because we don't know what the hell the guy did criminally. everybody's pair, likeness and dentist. fascinating in the sports media, wherever is lining up to have the spice your take on everything. there's crickets
5:54 pm
on that because no one wants to totally vilify him, and no one wants to totally exonerate him. no one knows what the hell to say about this, but here's the strange curve on this is why to watch the texas this year. why the father on watson? so he's on the team is under contract. he's healthy. he's there. but they won't play him. what happens if a couple days before the game or the night before the game, they're starting quarterback, gets a close contact is cold, but he can't play. they're going to start this rookie davis know. he's turned his ankle on the 1st quarter. he can't play the sun. you gotta get in. you have that. i'm not going in. yes. you are. it's like they've got a dragon by the ear lobe. i've never seen a stand off like this. and this year of all years, the quarterbacks are done. you find out that i, for the game, you can't play, you need watson. he uses the play. it's so bizarre man. and that's up every alarm. and the universe of the sean watson is called in to replace the starting quarterback because of a close contact incident. irony alert, irony alert, irony alert deep. let's talk about a few of the games here. well,
5:55 pm
let's go right to the super bowl because i'm running up against time. listen. if you put more homes, his own man wasn't that comfortable on the mound you put in the homes in the pocket and give him time and they've loaded up on the offensive line. he's strawn for 400 . again, my thing. and the only thing he can do to upset the apple car to scare me all human beings. it's clear, clear flag and you get around his knees. and that's jack lawson did. that's a no contract, no dime, a consumer did linebackers a b stand there. i see it be in the same super bowl i think. and until somebody freaks, because idle at all, and my homes looks fearless, but like i said, anybody gets scared when you're done around the ankles. i don't think anybody stands a 10th chance against them. who do you see in the super bowl moms and she's sexy. is how of course and this is not dennis, but all 5 of their office of wyman are different from last year. all 55 for 5 different guys. you don't see that on anything, let alone and when in a f c,
5:56 pm
which is why i don't think kansas city is going to make it. i'm going to take a ride. i missed early ninety's flashback memory to western new york. i think the buffalo bills are the one the super bowl that quarterbacks that good. the team is that well built the coaches and no b sir, is kind of a little bit of a keep the tape on while also being let's have yoga method practice. so it's like the perfect then meeting and i think buffalo, yes, buffalo is going to win the super bowl. it's crazy. well, listen, i love that pick to brother. it's just shut me up so many times. but i can see if they do make the super bowl, i guarantee you they're bringing tasker and to give the pre game speed. at that point, it's all about not ball or task, because again, not everybody's jimmy kelly, not everybody's thomas or andre is you'll have all those specialty kids jacked up. they'll be running down there on the 1st kick off and just unloading. so i can see buffalo, it's just more holmes is shut me up so many times now. right now, certainly a kid can't be that's good. but i got to go with them,
5:57 pm
but i do like brady and the tab over in the. yeah. like what's dumber right. now, betting against brady or betting against the homes. you take your pick. it's like back when it was tiger the field on the pga. yeah. you always go the own. go with some other maniac. you go. but i'm going with the field in this case. yeah. with brady now over there, it's like the teen photo of dorian gray, where he just at this point he just never came f for ages what the label app laid. listen the kids the best over their cobra. and i don't want to put other names. i just don't know names as i know the young lady's name is kate. what's her last name? k. adams. peter straker, and t p. d. in the for the chair. who the hell knows, maybe you dennis. we'd love to have that. i. if i'm ever done at all, i'd like to come in and say hi to you guys because i'm a big fan, but the show is called good morning football. so on the nfl network, if you're sick of the today show and all this anxious jesus, every day i'm trying to start my day with some fun. these people are still doing it over there. and now host
5:58 pm
a new show called frogger obstacle course competition over on the peacock kids on the come line. they better he'll be over there with nate burleson. they'll both be doing that show eventually you'll be like bryant and young man over there eventually. good to meet your brother. then. like i said, that has been watching for years of always admired your work. thank you so much for having me. i'm thrilled to be your plus one. all right, brother. dennis miller plus one. me. oh right now, there are 2000000000 people who are overweight or obese. it's profitable to sell food. that is pricey and sugary and the under the victim is not at the individual level. it's not individual willpower. and if we go on believing that will never change as obesity epidemic,

that industry has been influencing very deeply. the medical and scientific establishment, ah, what's driving the mac? it's corporate, me. ah, i don't know. i mean, there's some steps in there were rescuing the food that they were scabbing or where were rescuing resources that are still good. this is best buy march 21st, which is in 2 days. all of these potatoes, power panels, onions, all of these came from waste round sources. this is great for me because i'm always looking for a way to give things away. dr. because the tax laws, you know, definitely do benefit the wealthier people in our society. so that makes sense for them to throw it out right off rather than give it to somebody who could use it,
6:00 pm
then that person is not going to buy it. the the ah katelyn separate. his leader colors pushed him on this release from custody in italy. what is expected an extradition hearing that next month that follows his detention over night after almost 4 years on the run from the spanish government as european lawmakers brown, the arrest, a disgrace that's been in office, but jo biden's approval rating slumps following a raft of divisive policies for the us president now less popular that his predecessor and possible future arrival totaled front was germany set to to, to the next chancellor this weekend after 16 years of angle.
