intent of the writers. so, you know, president trump was the most for like president we've ever had in terms of what he did. and that is something to praise. as regards president biden, he says he's a catholic, it means everything to him to be a catholic. and i'm glad to hear him say that because it means everything to me to, to be a catholic, but you don't get to define year old version of catholicism. catholicism is taught authentically by the church, by the hierarchy. and in the catechism, the catholic church teaches quite clearly, abortion is the killing of an innocent human being. so any catholic who is in favor of that has distance himself from the very thing he claims to believe in. that's living in a contradictory way. and in the case of prison has more deadly consequences for the board. then, contradictions that other politicians might have and other issues. second, only to abortion, among hot button issues the same sex marriage also legal here. but when asked pope

civil law has an a duty to uphold the natural order. you know, marriage is defined not by the government but by mother nature and mother. nature was created by god, male female, the union resulting in children. that's what marriage is all about. so what the pope says is true. the catholic church loves everyone, including those have a problem with the sexuality in their lives. but the tough truth that they need to hear is don't pursue that lifestyle because it violates god's law. and it is in no way equal to marriage. so you're really entering into a pseudo marriage. you can give a piece of paper, says 2 men are married and not married. that's just not true. and it's no help to them to think that they are so we have to guide people in the path of god, nature, what is intended for human flourishing. and that indeed is what the pope does poll . i think though, he's made a mistake in saying that civil unions should be recognized by civil government. the catholic church has never taught that. it's not helpful at all. this recent visit
