a way that allows local jurisdictions to make decisions like this back in the bush here. or they invoked 287 g. a provision in the law that allowed a local law enforcement to act as ice agents and detain people. it was very effective. i argue a lot of people should do it and more and more to a local jurisdiction should do it. i think this is a good example of people and elected officials in certain areas are going to make decisions about their community. they should be held accountable at the ballot box . i think it's wrong. i think it's a major mistake. i think he's ignoring that there are lots of crimes that come from people who are here illegally, not every one of them, of course, but i think it's, it's obviously politics where he is to get to be elected. and i look at, in other parts of the country, the sheriffs are gonna be a tougher on the law. they're not going to ignore the law. and in this case, i think it's okay. the bigger problem is we have a range of prosecutors and sheriffs in this country that don't want to enforce other laws of violence and others, and that's a bigger problem than this one at this time. her and alan,

what do you make of the timing of the sheriff's comments as more care of and are heading toward the us border? right. so those stores are not linked together in any way or fashion, right. what someone does locally integers, dixon for people who have been here in documented for years has nothing to do with arriving immigrants coming to the southern border. as a matter of fact, thousands of iraq every day at airports. and we also have a large survey sorted out those individuals or that the people who are robbing to apply for a file or a visa or committee a crime in or criminal. so people who are coming to the southern port are coming to apply for be those they are not criminals, per se. and you know, as permanent, i'm just saying if they end up do committee to crime when they are in fact in this country, what does that mean? i'm just asking you about the timing. if there was a coincidence, i wasn't making a, i don't think, i think they're totally unrelated stories every fashion. i think it's someone who understands republican party well as a member of local jurisdiction,

a warrant from the federal law enforcement when there's an actual violation. but what alan said is exactly wrong. we're not talking about a textbook in a law class. we're not talking about something in a library. we have millions of illegals coming into this country, whether you think they're seeking asylum, or v says many, many, many of them become law breakers when they either overstate their asylum claim, or they never get one. and that's the fact we now have a problem. 50 years ago, this would've been the same problem, but today it's a problem. and the idea that we're not having every local jurisdiction come up with an approach that says the cost to be here illegally is higher, meaning the social cost, the legal costs, so that they actually don't come. it's impossible when biden says, come on down, everybody, but it gets even harder when you can commit crimes and know that one of the things that won't happen is you'll have to worry about your status. that's what we're saying. we're saying commit a crime. you may have a problem, but you won't get in trouble for your status at a certain point. we're either

idea that president biden is saying will pay them something for $150000.00 or some other amount. it's just wrong on space. and by the way he was asked by was asked, how much do you plan to pay legal immigrants? and he said, well, nothing. why would we pay or his spokesperson did? and of course, that's the right answer. i mean, people that come to america, we're not paying them to be here. if they come legally, ok, but if they come illegally, we're going to benefit them. and by the way, let's be clear. this is classic government handouts. if the a c, l u, opposite the department of justice, they'll give them lots of money. the lawyers will get paid and who gets policed. we the people get, we were paying for it because of the bottom. and last thing on allen, i was not being genuine support, you know, maybe more people turned away because they might be black people because barton is a racist, is what i think. but the real problem is they've admitted by their numbers. we've never had as many people pouring over the border in our history, so they may be turning more away. but that's because we're the 1st you need to sort

a remarkable achievement for the attorneys that got a lot of money? was a remarkable achievement for them. i mean, there are some people that are going to get like, you know, maybe 1500000, those people that have lost their lives. but there are a lot of other people that lost their lives as well. most of the money, 600000000, is coming from the state of michigan, which was accused of repeatedly overlooking the devastating risks of switching flints, water source in 2014, without treating the water to prevent contamination. at least 12 people died and dozens more were sickened. i know what i said long time ago. this is not gonna happen here is going to happen with lead my life flint managers appointed by then governor rick snyder and regulators in his administration. allow the city to use the flint reverend 20142015 without treating the water to reduce corrosion. as a result, let an old pipes broke off and flowed through the taps people worked for me that

this fair settlement? certainly no amount of money is going to be an option and say to a child who has been basically poisoned by lead for years. no amount of money is going to be able to compensate these people who thought that they were drinking water or actually being my terrible talk then. and from the outside, looking at $600000000.00. looks like an incredible settlement, like an incredible amount of money. but when you divide that number by the amount of people who are affected in michigan, it's going to equate to somewhere between 428-0000 point to $600000000.00, significant amount. when you divide that up, you're not going to see the amount of compensation that a lot of these people deserve. and so that's why this, i don't have some drawbacks, but there's a whole lot of positive aspects to how it was designed that i really do appreciate . i really do appreciate that. 80 percent of the settlement is going directly to those children who were present with the lead. it's going directly to the children are going to suffer comment and learning different abilities for years based on the

water that they're ingesting. while it might not be enough to make these people or to compensate them fully, it does have a lot of positive aspects to do really appreciate it. now do you think the attorneys are taking advantage of the situation here looking for a large portion of the settlement? so the way this works with plaintiffs attorneys is they all work on what's called a contingency fee. and that's $33.00 and a 3rd percent. and what a contingency means is that the attorney doesn't get paid unless they're able to recover for the plaintiff in the end. and like i said, it's on that 3033 percent contingency. so this is what we call them, that a find a mega settlement where we have a big pot of money that is said to be divided amongst the plaintiffs. and so what we're looking at now is, is right, $33.00 and a 3rd percent by what the judge is able to do with a mega funds like this is they typically reduce the amount of fees between 10 to 30 percent. so i,

i do anticipate that the judge is going to reduce but naturally the attorney started at the highest level, but it's ultimately going to be the judge's decision in this case, to reduce that amount based on how she sees fit and based on the work, the attorney put into it and based on the points of injuries and so i don't, i don't know that it's gonna stand at that moment. i think and does it surprise you at all that the former mirror is speaking out against this partial settlement? you know, we can't wait for speaking out. of course, she's passionate about the people who are affected here. you have 80000 people who are drinking contaminated water and they're not going to be made whole from them. that's just the basic truth. this is not enough money to make them full, but at the very least, we have to look at the justice that is being served. right. we've got criminal and civil penalty that we're in this case. and so we know the very least that there is some retribution that there is just people accountable in this case. of course we would like to see people compensated following. and i don't know that that that's
