with my own kids as well. i think that it needs to be a scale. right. and not everyone gets the same training. the elementary kid don't need the same training, they can, you can call it whatever you want. they just need to be told to listen and then all the way up to high school where, where it does change a little bit. but the concepts of ours are pretty much spot on. there's different names board, there's different different concepts. but basically, what we're trained in our, my old profession counterterrorism is we're trying to get off the acts and we're and basically survive. and that involves a lot of the concepts that they're talking about there, which is assessing what's going on, getting away from, from, from the situation as fast as you can putting time, a distance between you and the shooter, the attacker. and then assessing next step, what the goal of being getting out of there and of course, living to fight another day. so i think that there's great concepts there. i think that you can do it in a different way. that's not dramatic training. there's it, there's a huge difference between someone who's been trained and somebody is on train. you gotta have some form of training, but you can do it in a less traumatizing way. no one's going to be trained to be an operator like we were overseas. do you just need to have these kids aware of what the situation is?

how important it is to understand the basic concepts and then hopefully live to see another day. and yet, wendy were also in nor versus the psychology the conversations happening from kid to kid. and very important part of this is children actually identifying, hey, this student, but doing it in a way that isn't considered to be bullying. that's, you know, it's not a threat. what kind of balance right now is happening within the class or within these students and the fact that they don't want to look at a friend when identify red flags, they're being told, identify. but if they pointed out, they could also be considered to be bullying. what kind of situations happening right now in the classroom? the same kind of situations that are happening out of the classroom, you have that same dynamic, that same fear with anybody that observes suspicious conduct, doesn't want to say anything. i mean, think about it. i mean, all 3 of us that seen interviewer so many scenarios were after the fact witnesses have come forward and said, i didn't want to be labeled as being a racist or jumping to conclusions or rushing to judgment. and therefore didn't report suspicious activity. so too, in the classroom,

and i love that we're all talking about this trauma informed nature of the way we have to conduct this training and it's age appropriate. that's important as well. but here's one thing that we always remind parents. parents often think, well if the children don't know about it, they won't be afraid, they won't be traumatized. they're going to hear about it at school or from peers. more often than not. that's really at now that everybody has a cell phone, even younger children. i think the goal and part of these schools is to, to break the news to them, to explain what's going on in the world in a way that won't make them freight in a way that is both age appropriate and situationally appropriate, depending on where they live in what's going on in their community are very great point from that. when did i tell you the new car side of stories, the prosecutors are considering charges against the shooters, parents arguing that they need to be held accountable for their failure to properly secure the hand gun that was used in the shooting. ethan father x, the reportedly purchased in just a few days later, we're finding out that the biggest element all this is the parents and the parents
