a similar situation thinking well, what happened to to, to my father, my relative, where's that just as what happens? know? well, we're not giving up. we're requesting a meeting with the manhattan da to find out why he dropped the charges because all we hear about is that, you know, there are credible witnesses and there is troubling evidence and not what we've seen in a lot of the state investigation. so we want to know why that was dropped and why that wasn't, why they didn't go forward on that. we still have an f, b, i investigation to look forward to. and we also have a couple of bills on the table. we have one federal bill which will improve life for senior citizens and nursing homes going forward. and we have the state bill called the justice for nursing home victims act, which would raise the level of care in these homes and would raise the fines in these homes. so maybe these care homes would be less inclined to treat the elderly or in a bad way. if i may then, as mentioned,

this issue is particularly acute for you having lost your father in a care home. what was his experience like there? what was the situation like? he was in a nursing home for rehabilitation after next surgery, so he had all his mental faculties. he was scared, he called me up on the phone and he said if you don't get me out of here, i'm going to die. because he heard ambulances coming and going, people coughing, and he described chaos and commotion. so he was very scared, who knew something was wrong, and we did everything that we possibly could to get him out. but it was too late. he already killed him to contact with cove. it the whole unit came into contact with coven, they're all over 70 deaths in his unit along, so that the protocols just weren't in place. that that's essentially what you're saying. you know, they didn't have a plan at all. they felt forced to take these, these elderly people in that had called it listen, we had a ship, we had the u. s. s. comfort, there was
