for present text, we're gonna see how the math lower and now he is in need of the stories we are going to cover on today's news is used right here on our t america. ah, thanks for joining you on tuesday present, joe biden headed down south georgia with a vice president. com or harris all to push for change to the senate filibuster rules to pass voting rights. now, stacy abrams well known georgia is among many of those that are not there, as well as many activists who even boycotted the president speech and protest of the lack of action. so from where we bring in our to correspond paxton boyd paxton, scotty, president biden spent tuesday afternoon in georgia, pushing for a change in senate rules to pass voter rights legislation. setting up a showdown with republicans. president joe biden, using a speech and george on tuesday to endorse changing senate filibuster rules that
9:31 pm
have stalled voting rights legislation. the president saying now was the time to choose democracy over autocracy. this was to find a moment really, if were on the judge or were they before, were they after the vote actually got a judge. it was that got the question, biden voicing support for changing the senate. filibuster rules only to ensure the right to vote is defended as it stands. now, filibuster rules requires 60 boats to advance most legislation. a mark, senate democrats can't meet on the road with a thin 5050 senate majority republicans unanimously opposing voting rights measures . while not all democrats are on board either. senator joe mansion of west virginia being one of them, calling the rules, change a heavy lift more so ongoing conversations as far as on voting. because i think the bedrock of democracy is making sure that you're able to cast a vote assure your legal of age, and i say citizenship of cash to vote should be counted accurately. so we're
9:32 pm
talking about those things before a speech on tuesday, president biden visiting atlanta's ebenezer baptist church and placing a wreath at the crept of doctor martin luther king junior and his wife coretta scott king paying tribute to civil rights battles of the past. senate majority leader, chuck schumer, setting up martin luther king junior day as the deadline to either pass voting legislation or consider revising the rules. some civil rights groups choosing not to attend and protest of what they call administration inaction. clip albright co founder of black voters matter saying we don't need even more photo ops. we need action. democratic gubernatorial candidate, stacy abrams, known for her voting rights work, also skipping the event. president biden downplaying her absence on tuesday. i spoke with stacy 40 for good relationship. we got our scheduling mixed up on. i thought that earlier this morning on the same page and every client,
9:33 pm
president biden, a former long time senator, who largely stands by existing rules, is facing political pressure from democrats to come up with a breakthrough. it's got a voting rights advocates on stand by waiting to see what will happen and 2022 and beyond. after republican push laws made it harder to vote after president donald trump's loss in the 2020 election and his subsequent efforts to overturn the results of that election. scottie, now there's a lot of discuss from pac since package as so let's talk about the president's trip . going down to georgia and bringing the best subjects to discuss doc and tegler, a former georgia state representative. emily can drill, who is a conservative commoner, both of you from the show. thanks for joining me. thanks, scott. ha. okay, let's start with george john d. i don't think anyone needs an excuse to visit the peach state. but what? another state actually like arizona have been a better choice i think it depends on the state. i think we need to be
9:34 pm
there since we've heard that message from president bon over an hour and we need for him to do. ringback so today we double now and now i want to see actually, so i, we were kind of was actually freedom out. i was the action you, i'm still politician president by me. sure. not to say for all time, you know how to will go with next more direct was interstate. he bring that up because at the same time, when president by them went down to georgia, the leak. how do you read? you know, stacy roots as a scheduling mix up, i mean, as the president of the united states and other civil rights that are saying they were protesting that obviously they think there should be action. she think this has anything to do with more importantly in a, in a state like georgia that the latest national poll numbers have both the president and comm layers, the vice president at their lowest levels yet go into this very important election here. i think it's a mixture of both, but at the end of the day, you know, as, as the saying, oh, you could put lipstick on the piano. but at the end of the day it's still
9:35 pm
a pig. and what we're finding with the binding administration is really simple, what illustrated what the same thing that we saw during the campaign. of course, they realize that the polling is bad on this. but because the guy that a campaign chose to really push this notion that you know that we are voting rights are under attack and make no mistake about it. it is a snow stacy angrily with one of the most popular politicians in georgia. if not the most popular one, she snub joe by now personally, i think it's very disrespectful. i think she should have went ahead and met with joe by it, because at the end of the day, the issue isn't with joe biden. the issue is with congress and it's intellectually dishonest for these politicians to really keep this on jo, bite it. and of course i would love to do that as a conservative. but at the end of the day, congress is responsible for this, not job by what's your members of congress to do it? if you really want to do something, when it's interesting,
9:36 pm
you bring that up more because to get this, these rules change in the senate with regard to filibuster. you gotta, you can't just be democrats. there's going to be, have to be some republicans that cross over. so was it smart? this is the 1st time that president bite has come out and endorse this idea of changing the roles in the senate. wouldn't been better if the present just stayed out of it and let the, the city politics take home. because once the president got involved, republicans are not going to hand the president a win regardless if they like the bill or not. there are a lot of people who assume things about how government hurts and it doesn't really work that way. so a lot of this cost or nature mosquito bought job, joe biden, for the reasons that he can't, they don't do it. the campaign make no mistake about it. joe biden can't pay that. he would be able, with his, all those 15 years of washington experienced be able to actually move the country and work on the other side of the aisle that has not happened in large part because congress is in the way. it doesn't matter if it's a republican or democrat, the white house, this is how our system was designed. so don't blame joe,
9:37 pm
by porch blame the members of congress because they are the ones who are not getting these things done well. and i want to switch gears a little bit because of one of the reasons why he did go to jordan was obviously we're about a week away from the holiday that makes us remember doctor king in the service that he did to this country de. however, one thing about dr. king is that it's something that should a regards of political party lines, everybody should unify behind his message because that's what doctor king was about, obviously. but when, when the president was there 1st of all, shit, he waited till actually martin luther king day and taken the time out on that day to go down and hit these play and go to these places, visit these places and lay the reef on actual martin luther king day, but also does it not make the the legacy of doctor king more politicized? is that actually good for the long term message dr. kinney needed to resonate across party lines possible. it doesn't matter what they would have come because it all goes together. we celebrate king murphy and he's in georgia for
9:38 pm
a week or 2. and so i just, i'm glad he actually came down to georgia on to go back to what i said. i don't think it's not president buying, you know, she had her baby, the scottish and book there. boy, she's run it from alex. but she probably had some type of conflict. now, in regards to the messaging, i think we have to work on this message, especially for our private advisor because there are some things that he really can't do it. and so it's a key concern. he push for good and right. you know, he was a stalwart. * provider that's why many of us know is because of the civil war her time. we have a conversation, especially in georgia to how many people such as i got the job lowery job. congressman john lewis. i'm so mean it's going to write me this is georgia is the heart of the voting movie for america to watch. some people like to say it's not about what his, george, it is written. so i'm glad you came down to the peach state to do when you well
9:39 pm
lake and all right, mulligan day of the interesting to see where it goes. and if this helps actually biting, getting involved in this actually helps or hurt concerning. this is an issue that if they do want to pass this voter rights, legislation is going to require some help from republicans. it doesn't look right now by making it political. that's going to happen. thank you both for joining me. now when we return at the havoc reached by the quota virus on our nation's help actually given credibility tween nationalized health care system. well, we're going to discuss after the break i look forward to talking to you all that technology should work for people. a robot must obey the orders given by human beings, except where such order is that conflict with the 1st law show your identification
9:40 pm
. we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. and the point obviously is to create trust rather than fear with take on very job with artificial intelligence, real summoning with a robot must protect its own existence with oh, is your media reflection of reality? in the world transformed what will make you feel safer? isolation for community. are you going the right way? where are you being that somewhere? direct. what is true? what is great?
9:41 pm
in the world corrupted, you need to descend a join us in the depths will remain in the shallows. while our officers are facing and increasingly dangerous environments, we are seeing a growing debate about so called warrior cops. the term that i've heard in the militarization of believe this is an amber vehicle we acquired through the 1033 program and very free program with the government program that follows military property that is no longer use to local law enforcement. with building an army over here, and i can't believe that people are c a t i was in the good again, a feeling that hey, you have to deal with your harm. you wouldn't an immune pool. cook beds,
9:42 pm
isn't it from time? who's like moon it played through people mine? they think they got the bad news. but what was out the door? very bad guns worked on the good news. you have job security because the world desperately needs after raising taxes and drawing on emergency funds in 2020 in anticipation of a post pandemic, economic nosedive, california officials were delighted to see much of the extra revenue wasn't needed after all. a california governor gavin newsome is taking the opportunity to go full speed ahead with his progressive agenda. his plans even include health coverage for the state, a documented population at taxpayer expense. now the move would provide health insurance to 700000 previously uninsured. people never aggressive, nationwide or cheering newton's proposal. but critics wonder how california plans
9:43 pm
to keep on providing health care for all when the time comes that there isn't so much money for the state to throw around. julius, now to discuss his attorney and a candidate for congress in california 26 district. rhonda kennedy. thanks for having me. okay. stay for the health care for undocumented migrants aren't even paying into the taxpayer system completely all the time. dream come true for democrats, but this is also gavin newsome's dream, who can put the brakes on new seems vision for california. i mean, is it a one party state in this? what he says goes, this is definitely a one party state. i mean, the republican state legislator is going to stay at home because democrats can pass bills without republicans votes. that's how bad california is. we are one party state, and democrats are ruining the state yet so many you supposedly, according to the budget, there's actually a surplus ride, hence why you cannot use this money to spend on so many. but i keep wondering that
9:44 pm
has so many people continue to move out of demand out of california into other states. is news news i'm using this spending spree. do you think to put democrats permanently in control of the state? and what does that mean going forward? yeah, well i know california has the 2nd highest gas in the country 2nd to hawaii, and we actually produce gas here in california. yeah. and you some doesn't care about the everyday average citizens of this state. he cares about votes. this is just the way for the democrats to get what boats, because here in california there's no vote protection. everybody builds in california even if you're not legally eligible to vote in california because you're not a citizen. people vote here and i think this is just another ploy, a california for democrats to, to get down to stay in power and get books. okay, so the recall last year did not work for him. at the same time. do you think it had any effect on his governing style?
9:45 pm
yes, if you can call it governing and you have any some, you know, he doesn't have, you know, 1000 dollar dinners. keep says he keeps his friends businesses open, but yet he tells entire state and other small businesses they need to close. this is more of a dictatorship here in california, rather than than a governorship, gavin newsom and nancy pelosi, they do whatever they want to whenever they want to. they don't care about the voters, they don't care about the people of california. i. so gavin newsom sits on his throne in sacramento and, and just you know, gives out free stuff right when you look at the crime rate. so high here, a california, particularly los angeles, los angeles, look like gotham city. it's so bad with crying. you look like you're walking into a 3rd world country mean, go to downtown l a. and yet gavin needs and wants to get health care to illegals, and he will continue to get reelected. you know, get new. it's not all bad news over call for a tax players because guess what? he's going to give them and tax cuts. but how do you square?
9:46 pm
i'm trying to add at the math here. you cut tax a taxes for those that are actually paying them, but you're going to fork out a lot of those that really aren't necessarily paying into it. how does the math work out? and is he being over optimistic about the future of his state by proposing this? well, i think i will do some math and everybody else's math is different because, you know, after all democrats, they math is racist. but i don't the only the only thing that he can continue to do is to raise taxes on the middle class. i mean we, we pay it, we may not pay higher income taxes, but we pay it when it comes to the sales tax, gas tax. they tax everything and that's how it's being paid towards be paid by, by the middle class here in california. well, and we'll just see how long go actually handle it. wonderful to talk with you. and we're going to see how this all turns out. because like i said, whatever happens in california will more than likely be watched by several other blue states of the country to possibly spread. and if it works great, but history has shown it usually doesn't go too well. thanks for joining me. they
9:47 pm
for me, and you keep coming back to personal attacks on me that have absolutely no relevance to reality. ok, so while we're on the subject of health care, the leading doctors in america charge with handling the corona virus appeared once again in front of a senate committee. all to answer questions regarding where america stands in the fight centers for disease control and prevention director, dr. michelle lensky, as well as the white house chief medical advisor, dr. anthony valgy, were joined by the acting food and drug administration commission. dr. janet woodcock and they were all asked various questions regarding the multiple mixed messages previously made by previous comments made regarding the numbers of victims and the court team time. but the way this ministration rolled out boosters was a disaster. you created skepticism and mass confusion. i have heard from so many
9:48 pm
people who find the latest, c, d. c. isolation in quarantine, gains confusing. well, they're not the only ones, but once again, there is really only one senator who really push back on the panel. and of course like always directed dr. valgy, do you think words like conspiracy theory should be an a scientific paper? senator, i never use that word when i was referring to it. you're distorting virtually everything you communicate with the 5 scientists who wrote the opinion piece in nature where they were describing oh this. there's no way this could add on for was on the web me what i need you to talk with any of those the i'm describing. sleep that you keep to still do the truth is you don't know how you do talk to the ongoing saga. maybe no, be good friends by the end of this, but until then we're going to continue city to you discussion. i would actually discuss what the doctor said and bringing to rick meta, who is a former f t official georgetown university health law professor and current us
9:49 pm
house candidate. thank you so much for joining me gentlemen. why are we just now being told one of the messages that, that has actually been kind of changed or not change is kind of evolved. has vendor just now being told by the cdc director that 75 percent of coven 19 death, had 4 or more co morbidities to it? isn't that a major detail? and should we be looking at the individuals with these co morbidities separately than without at this stage? absolutely, the cdc cannot keep their stories straight and their narrative continues to unravel . you know, you saw that dr. rossi was challenged when asked even by c n n, a mainstream media about whether or not people that were hospitalized with coven infections, where they there because of cove, or with co it. and then she finally squirmed an answer. well, they happened to test positive with coping so they weren't necessarily hospitalized because of the coven. and so i think the american public is now waking up to see that the narrative is being skewed. in order to create government, overreach,
9:50 pm
control, and fear monitoring. should we be looking at antibodies and should that start to beat play a factor more and our policy decisions is obviously there's been some major decisions made about society and where people can go, what they can do, based off of one thing should we start considering antibodies the entire totality of the armamentarium of options to tackle call that should be looked at, not just that things are mandatory vaccine, but antibodies and other treatment protease inhibitors, and other treatment coming down the like one of the administration that like tropic ministration note operation works to be the main treatment option available. so yes, of course, we should be looking at creating assets, monoclonal antibody, or effective code, looking at treatment options coming down the pike to make that. but also look at more specialized testing. anybody, those that have been exposed to coven, and have developed antibody? not just this one size fits all,
9:51 pm
testing to say that you're positive and then create fear. because you're on the positive until we change our language, our epidemiological jargon around this, and stop calling it a pin, demick call it and demick, and admit the fact that many americans will be exposed to almost crying over the period of time and start looking at that and it's only dead, or we're going to finally get past this big covey narrative that's being pushed by the see who can keep up with their talk when. well, that's kind of all over the place, but i think you actually are seeing a lot of harm being done. because as for a society that we work so hard and that message has been unity and everybody inclusiveness and lets everybody be creative, be treated fairly, you know, dr. lisky today actually said that exposure, guidance is the same for vaccinated and unvaccinated at the current time. therefore, do you feel like that would be this unvaccinated? the vaccine actually deserve the targeting debut entreated. right. and the treatment like 2nd class citizens that we're seeing, the demon ization of and back like we're seeing not only by governments,
9:52 pm
but trickling all down within our school system for kids that are under 18 who not been vaccinated yet. to kill americans against each other is just despicable and sickening. the truth is, you know, when you look at the new treatment options, you see the visors, new product backs of it, 90 percent affective, to keep people out of whole or developing serious infections, even vaccinated and unvaccinated. so again, they're pushing a narrative to try to coerce and force people to become vaccinated despite the ability for them to talk to their doctors and assess the benefit risks for themselves. it's government overreach, it's government manipulation, their narrative is crumbling. and is that exactly the kind of harm they've already done to the american public? more importantly, they've created a significant amount of distrust in our administrative health agencies, of which many americans use the old and very high regard. exactly, and it's interesting to see that people that are actually following along with it
9:53 pm
just lock. and stephanie, wonder what their agenda is, what they're trying to do. but this latest one has come out is this idea that everybody and we're, we're hard to having to deal with it here. everybody's trying to get tested. they're having to go find tests. i have to tell you, it's a lot like hunger games out there these days trying to find tests, whether you're going to buy them. i had somebody in my building selling them for a 100 dollars a piece, and yet people can't go into work sometimes without getting a test, even with no symptoms. why does the cdc characterize as possible exposure? i want the technical definition and with the shortage of testing right now, how smart i don't want to say socially responsible for either at this point to be forcing people with no sense to get tested when they actually need some people actually need to be tested because they're showing symptoms and they actually need to know if they have the corona virus or the flu. big difference. yeah. well look, when you start to treat all americans the same and you basically erased individuality and individual liberties. and this is what you get. you get chaos, you get confusion. rather we should talk about how we're stratifying those that are
9:54 pm
at high risk from the virus. and there are those that have co morbidities or other health conditions, obese and the elderly rather than talking about that and treat all americans the same, enforce them into the same. what i call chinese thing across dr. battery has us and the chinese feeder cups where you don't, you want to go to work, but maybe a systematic. you've tested positive. now you have the warranty. and instead of 10 days, maybe it's 5 days and they say it's based on science. and then here it's based on economic considerations and then you have to get tested to get out of warranty. and you can't find out what is the average american supposed to do. how can they go to work with food on the table and live their life to normal? see again and you can because of this mixed messaging that everyone is being commandeered. that's why biden himself admitted that there is no federal solution. let the state to handle it and we got to move away from cdc and these top down bureaucrats that are not accountable to the political process and start working at
9:55 pm
a state level to get people back to work and back to normal. and you said you think people are finally waking up to at the same time with eric about how math these cloth mask that we've all been wearing around for 2 years or, or the blue mask. those are pointless. and yet the math mandates are still in place . what is it going to take is, are we going to have to have more people from the medical community stayed up and just even use comments and to say, this is what works. and this is what does it, even if that goes up against the cdc saying, broke like 20 seconds? well, i think more doctors are finally stepping up. you know, i'll tell you how professional they're more scared of not complain to the rules than they are of the virus. when they start to look back and do their hippocratic oath to take care of their patients. we're going to see more more physicians and epidemiology, stepping up and saying the right thing. thank you rick. you know, that is offered a show, but i want to continue this conversation. let's do it on twitter. the question i have for you after 2 years, who share your opinion about the virus, the doctors on the hill, or what you have observed on your own,
9:56 pm
your neighborhoods with your own family. to me your answer at scottie and youth and use the hash tag team in vh. and for all the diverse programming here at r t america, make sure you download the portable that the app is free on your apple or android device. and most importantly, until we see each other again, i need to say happy to healthy, stay informed. ah, ah, while our officers are facing an increasingly dangerous environment, we are seeing a growing debate about so called warrior cops. the term that i've heard in the militarization of police. this is an app vehicle we acquired through the 1033 program, very free program with the government program that funnels military property that is no longer use to local law enforcement. with building an army over here, and i can't believe people aren't seeing those thing an agency elder a me because it began a feeling that hey,
9:57 pm
you have to deal with our practice who you putting in immune pool beds is a powerful thing in from tab has like money in play tricks and people mind they think they go bad knows the wolf is out the door. very bad. johns are telling good news. you have job security because the world desperately needs that you have to check in with, in
