a much needed deal to increase production of the commodity in order to bring down, skyrocketing prices are t kellum up and comments now on how the tour ended with biting, taking flag on the homefront. now, many americans were hoping that by going to saudi arabia, the u. s. president could convince the country to increase oil output and thus dropped the price. however, that has clearly not results. it gas prices remain high, and oil output from saudi arabia remains pretty much the same. important to note that the crown prince of saudi arabia mohammed ban solomon and joe biden exchanged a fist bomb the new york times reporter referred to it as a chilly fist box. now many in the press are noting that this seems to be quite ironic as joe biden did promise to make saudi arabia a pariah state. in the aftermath of the killing of jamal shoji. and while he was running for president, so it seems like joe biden is now bist bumping with
10:08 pm
a government that he claimed he was going to make a pariah. in addition to that, the foreign minister cited the crown prince and responding to how they felt about joe biden, challenging them around the issue of jamal, because shoji it has not worked when the u. s. tried to impose values on afghanistan and iraq, in fact, it backfired. it does not work when people try to impose values by force on other countries. the american people are not happy as the gas prices amazon down. the press is criticizing by 4 5th bumping with the government. you want from us to make a variety. and on top of that, the saudis themselves do not appreciate joe biden, challenging them on the killing of jamal shoji. so overall, the trip is not a success for the bike administrate. they believe also while on his visit to saudi arabia been trying to assert us leadership in the region, noting that washington would not leave a vacuum to be filled by moscow or beijing. but saudi arabia's top diplomat says robs relations with the u. s. and china are not mutually exclusive. we want to be

able to deal with everybody in china is our largest trading partner we've built purchase with people. we don't see one exclusive of the other indian foreign service at veteran m k. bob come up says washington's, at latest attempts to drive its rivals away from the middle east, or too little, too late. kind of a binding to a. so the policy would be track as in the 1980 to be the basis to an extent to cut in russia going forward. i didn't know that we know was there can be the final freeze with the soviet union. know that he was intimating by getting the sodium to break up the i think we probably said this is,
10:10 pm
this is probably going to great fish because i think the naturally of this would be that it's been not dying before so that it starts grading, its oil, china and we already have seen that. so let's just see from russia and any addition on that so we can bring it in on the basis of reach in from russia. in other words, it's what brings us we should see in the middle of the machine that the connection. so it's interest by the nations and to be bad in some way that we are missing there.
10:11 pm
more than 100 refugees and social workers have gathered outside a reception center for ukrainians in paris, demanding equal rights for migrants from other countries, while accusing french authorities of favoring white asylum seekers. little yet there is a whole group of migrants who come here from various countries to denounce the existing differences in treatment. there are only 30 ukrainians inside. the rest of the facility is empty. the question is, why, and we know the answer. it's the racism of the state which leads to other people having to go stay on the streets, put on okay, come here. and every euro for people there. good, given close to him. not all 3 got unlocked dog gone as a nod to another thing or not do it on not another one. we'll have also like him problem, he often like them. we demand the same rights as ukrainians, neither more nor less housing and paperwork. some people come here from many
10:12 pm
countries, have several nationalities from sudan to eritrea. taff janice dan. and we all form a collective of people who fight for equality and against racism. and that means obtaining housing and documents for everyone, no matter the color of their skin or their nationality. the protesters also say refugees fleeing from africa are risking their lives by traveling across the mediterranean sea and often fall prey to human traffickers. those who make it end up facing discrimination and a denial of basic rights in europe earlier this month, african refugees already cried foul over what they call double standards by french authorities in dealing with migrants from different regions. we heard from political analyst nicholas medical ritual. his france has no real strategy or program for a greeting. refugees coming from countries other than ukraine just shows the negligent and incompetent of the french authorities to tackle and immigration. it's
10:13 pm
also showing how politicized the whole ukrainian immigration and is going on around from trap as open standards for ukrainians, which are apparently empty, where they're not enough to create is there where they're talking about. there's something on mainstream media say that transfers open doors that it's helping ukraine and we're finding out that these 2 centers are half occupied. i think what it shows essentially is that trance has no strategy, no problem whatsoever to greet the immigrants coming from abroad. i think ukrainians is a small, tiny bit of the map of the great numbers of immigrants coming over to france each year. but it show immigrants coming into france have no housing. some of the people in and coming in to the centers. don't speak french. there's no courses for them, there's no jobs waiting for them. and it just shows that the past year, the governments in france, whether they be from the left or for the rights have no program, have an open door policy, but have nothing western sanctions against russia are bringing,
10:14 pm
suffering to 3rd world countries like sri lanka, that's according to the impoverished south asian nations in term president speaking as an international form for preventing hunger and famine that does look at the sanctions that are being impose. and i thought says in this bad study, he sanctions been russia, believe me, the wrong being russia, believe me. but in the ring that i saw, the dog would needs as long as gripped by it's worse to ever economic crisis. crowds of people are trying to flee from the country for a better life are to correspondent rule. jo sharma, reports what is bankrupt, ireland coin to its worse economic crisis due to its people. since the beginning of april, thousands have lost their jobs. desperate and hopeless with the system, she lumpkins now want to leave their once beloved country, but to do that,
10:15 pm
they need passports. and for that they require printing material, which is now in short supply. just like everything else, with the demand so high, the weight seems endless. you feel long to the doctor often cars i'll type at old stations mature at the department of immigration in columbus. these people have queued up, trying to leave this country to wherever they can to find whatever job they can either go on day. go in and look at maya, i leave my asthma and my kids. everything i live in going there was yesterday game . and then today to you, i one money i need money because i have 2 children. i cannot go to her their gandhi, but i want to go because my children, all these she was outside gas stations, petrol stations,
10:16 pm
all the department of immigrations are one big cry for help. it remains to be seen in the weeks to come, whether the new government would actually listen. roonan sharma in columbus reporting for arte it transgender woman has been removed from a female prison and sent to another detention facility for young adults after she reportedly impregnated to female inmates. now she says she has being unfairly treated as a man despite identifying as a woman and says she is being bullied by guards and fellow prisoners. new jersey department of corrections have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual harassment by putting me in one of the most violent g correctional facilities. while living hair at the garden state correctional facility, i have found myself under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant towards a person like me. to me, minor has been serving
10:17 pm
a 30 year sentence for manslaughter, and was placed in the female only prison in new jersey. she was transferred after the impregnation claims merged. the new jersey department of corrections says it cannot comment on any active investigations, but has quote 0 tolerance for abuse. and the department has also said it's operating under the states policy for housing transgender inmates, but is currently reviewing those roles since last year in new jersey has allowed prisoners to be housed according to the gender that they, i, dennis fi as having that policy was part of a settlement from a civil rights suit brought by a transgender woman forced to live in men's prison facilities for 18 months. there are an estimated $5000.00 transgender individuals currently in u. s. presence. from on this we can cross alive to paul, right, founder and editor of prison. the legal news, thanks for being with us here on our international. so it's very on the on the show . do you think it was justifiable to remove me minor from the female prison?
10:18 pm
even though she identifies as a woman, was it a violation of her rights? well, i think one of the things, the, the lot of the personal systems are so grappling was after decades just not longer of kind of routinely violating the rights of transgender prisoners and not housing them in inappropriate housing settings. it seems that you know, they, they seem to go back and forth between one extreme or the other. but i think that rather than the reality is that you know, prisoners despite i think the best claims of the state or the realities of procedures do have consensual sex with each other. and i think the news reports all indicate that whatever sex mis minor had was, was consensual. and that should really be impacting what, you know, what prison, the person's house that you know, male preserves, have sex with other men and men's presence. likewise, women prisoners have sex with other women and women's prisoners at the same time
10:19 pm
and it was prohibited by the rules. it's not a thing of bouncing them to you know, to another prison as a result of that. and i think it's one of those things where we've, we've seen, there's been some progress in the united states toward the treatment of transgender procedures, probably within the last 10 years or so. it's got a little bit better. but i think there's still a lot of prison officials are inclined to routinely violate the human rights of transgender and, and homosexual on lesbian printers as well. you bring up a good point about the concentra quality of the sex. now, regardless of personal opinions of the law states that they can be housed in whatever a prison they identify as. so what needs to happen in order for her to be sent back to a female prison? well, literally the workers are held as literally up to the pretty much unbridled discretion prison officials. the us supreme court has held that once
10:20 pm
a person is convicted of an offense and sentenced to prison, the person has no right or liberty interest of where they are housed. in that case, the, the, the u. s. supreme court upheld the transfer of a hawaiian prisoner to the mainland, thousands of miles away from his family. and from where he was sentenced and, and prisoners originally held, you know, everywhere from, you know, all over the country to, you know, places far away from home. and just as the law doesn't say what prison a person should be held in. and we've seen cases where, you know, women, when a deserves have been held in men's prisons when they've been deemed dangerous and vice versa. so there is no code law one way or the other dictating where prisoners hell based on their gender or their gender identity. and rather one of the problems that we've had, i think, at the united states for literally decades, if not longer has been that prison officials want to sign the would assign
10:21 pm
prisoners to a gender based present based on their gender tail yellow. or if a person had male at a penis and testicles if you remember prison regardless about 8 and a 5 or any other factor. and likewise, women prisoners who identified as, as mattel, route, were kept in in male prism. so there's been some change on that or some progress on now from in recent years, most notably, new jersey, california and one or 2 other states. but even though that is still far from the norm of the united states, now the current 2nd supreme court makeup is controversial at best. but if we go past the supreme court, verdicts that you just mentioned, is it acceptable for convicts to be sent to a female, only prison based on the gender that they identify as having or does there need to be further stipulations on the extent of that individual's transition i think generally what we're seeing is actually more in the way of how the individual has
10:22 pm
transition. and it also literally depends on the state where we see some states, notably, that are governed by democrats, for example, democratic governors and such are a little more accommodating than more, more conservative states, especially those in the southern united states. but a lot of what we've seen though, is, you know, until recently there's been wholehearted opposition from prison officials across the country. any type of treatment or accommodation towards transgender prisoners. in fact, one of the things that's got a remarkably little attention in this country is carmella harris. before she was vice president, when she was the attorney general of california, she vigorously opposed any type of surgical treatment or, or her model treatment for transgender prisoners in california. that get the spike that when i'm to get elected senator and then vice president. so, and this is recently, it's not like the distant past year. we're not talking about something that
10:23 pm
happened ages ago. we're talking about things that have happened fairly recently. so i think now that to me except that we're seeing, you know, some accommodation and treat appropriate medical treatment towards transsexual prisoners. as of right now, it's still sporadic and it's still kind of geographically isolated. it's far from the national norm here in the united states. right, certainly an interesting conversation. it certainly in need to be discuss more thanks for coming on our international to help us wrap our minds around. appreciate it. all right, founder and editor of prison legal news. thanks for having me on the show. ah, now the u. s. has threatened to, to impose more sanctions against iran if care from delivers combat drones to russia . that's despite moscow's denials, is that the military hardware would be used in ukraine. russian president vladimir putin is scheduled to visit a ron on tuesday for his meeting with the running president. it will be the russian leaders 1st trip outside the former soviet union. since the ukraine conflict
10:24 pm
ruptured in february, russia has also provided a draft agreement for comprehensive strategic cooperation to iran, with the kremlin, saying it expects the deal to be signed as soon artillio. katrinka isn't here on right now. with more details about the upcoming summit, president pu doesn't leave russia that often these days, so every foreign trip is always a magnet for attention. the choice of destination speaks volumes about moscow's priorities. so there you have it shortly after joe biden, towards the middle east. mr. prudent is visiting terror on together with, and that's also very important. turkey's leader, ty bardon here at the russian embassy and to iran. we heard from the ambassador about the diplomatic game of chess that is now, and it's crucial stage. we're seniority, move to europe, and worked visible quite recently. tehran has literally turned into a mecca for numerous foreign delegations that are coming to iran. they're coming not only from asian countries, but also from the ca. yes. from

a number of european countries that are looking for ways to strengthen bilateral trade are still there. but it's much more difficult for europeans to do this because they're forced to keep an eye on the americans. going back to the trilateral format, despite the immense contrast and interests when it comes to the syrian conflict. it was thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the 3 nations, russia, turkey, and iran, 4 years ago that syria. so like at the end of the tunnel ahead of another summit in 10, ron, the gremlins spokesperson cold, the trilateral agreements, the only international format that is keeping serious stable. here's what else we heard from mr. pess. gov. in his latest interview. graham, i'd say to give you the new choice to the main purpose of the visit to iran east, to participate in the summit of the ascent troika, the guarantor countries of the syrian settlement process, russia, iran, and turkey, which was this is
10:26 pm
a very important format that has shown its viability and is the only international format that is currently contributing to resolving the searing conflict. russia and the ran are now the most sanctioned countries in the world. but the latest efforts by the western european countries to isolate russia only lead to closer ties between russia and the islamic republic. russian and iranian companies apparently have nothing to lose now. trade in national currencies is picking up pace, ties are being expanded in so many areas from space, exploration to joined car manufacturing. the 2 countries are now expecting to sign a major strategic partnership agreement. yeah, almost 4 percent of the 1st of all, we need to further increase tre turnovers in our exports to iran have increased by more than 50 percent. and total trade turn over by more than 30 percent. since i hope that by the end of this year, we will break the record that we sent last year by more than $4000000000.00. so by
10:27 pm
the end of the year, we will have many more business missions, representatives of russian businesses will come to iran and vice versa to rush out of the more stores. and i think we will successfully resolve issues of banking cooperation, which is very important for switching to national currencies. earlier this month, turkey cemented its role as a key mediator and the ukranian conflict talks in est amble, paved the way for a potential compromise on the issue of grain experts from blocked ukrainian ports. latimer hooton's upcoming ted i said with ty beardon followed by an anticipated press conference, could shed light on a possible agreement. this could spell the 1st success in setting up direct talks between moscow and key of in months. we're expecting to hear more about that during vladimir putin trip to, to iran. political uncertainty has been escalating in pakistan with violent clashes between rival political groups reported after contentious local elections

in which ousted prime minister, him wrong cons. party one in the country's most pop was region a cons movement for justice party gained a majority of 20 seats in the punjab assembly. the vote has been seen as a key indicator of how next year's national election could proceed. khan was asked by parliament in april and the pro western rival was appointed in his place. con has maintained that he was the target of an u. s. orchestrated crew. meanwhile, the south asian nation has been struggling with economic turmoil facing his highest inflation rate. in 13 years now, despite his ouster con, has been campaigning throughout the country, calling for snap elections that could bring him back into power. meanwhile, washington has adamantly denied cons, accusations that the u. s. pushed for his removal. geopolitical analysts have found a slum shod, says the current election results show that pakistan society is looking to determine its own future without strings being pulled by

a foreign power. so it's come back us to see in those terms. it's unprecedented. it's unique, it's significant. it's transformative and it's in plastic, the problems that be in boxes, that the bible study society is not going to accept ins, the politics and they are going to be determining the future. so lead to their own initiative. behind every event there is a, there is a reason, there is a cause and it gives me a significant, you know, reason to believe that it runs out of was definitely the result of some sort of displeasure that the u. s. had with them run on and i believe that one of those reasons would be his statement made last year, i believe in june when he said in response to a question where the box on would give a basis or overflight rights to the u. s. and he categorically said no, and that became the famous absolutely not statement that he has been using to
10:30 pm
really is support based in bikes. that does it for me, this hour i will be back in, let's say 30 minutes with another full and fresh look to share with washington's unipolar moment ended years ago. unfortunately, and dangerously. the foreign policy was refused to come to grips with this new reality. this explains the increase tensions in europe, the middle east and asia and the biggest loser is the way for me.
