rescue workers sent in to help retrieve them. this follows the german government's recent decision to return to burning coal to reduce its dependence on russian fuel in ports o promoting fake tales of russian bolts. investigative journalists not tie b has said like on 20 eighteens alleged russia gate lies in the latest release of twitter files, claiming us democrats on the mainstream media ignored twit, his findings that, that was no link to moscow at a crucial moment in a years long, purer democrats denounced to report about flaws than trump roche investigation. sinned was boosted by russian boats, and trolls. twitter officials were housed finding no evidence of russian influence where food and congressional trolls. not any significant activity connected to russia. put in the guard before the horses. humans, propaganda, or boats. wall once again where barren tow that there lies and more and more it

lies when the comes to these claims about these russian bolts. so these latest switzer revelations, basically show that russia was not meddling in the u. s. presidential elections through twitter, it had nothing to do with manipulating the findings in the report. the subsequent report that are, that looked into the alleged ties between the former us, our present donald trump and moscow. and we can see some of the interactions between twitter executives and members from congress and what they have to say now, for example, these twitter files, all they do is show washington eagerness to paint russia as the bad guy too, even though there is no evidence to support them, that's what's what i was saying itself. hey, we cannot find evidence to what you're saying is happening. there are no rush and bought forms. let's take a look at the exchange that is produced from matt's i b and discuss this further. i
3:32 pm
think we can push back strongly on the russian component here. i just reviewed the account that it posted the 1st 50 trees with the release the memo, and while a few of them definitely look spammy, none of them have any sites have been tied to russia. i tried to wave him off of this particular sorry line because we don't leave these bots. this has become if he give a mouse a cookie with members of congress. nice as someone who's read if you give a mouse a cookie since this weekend, i'm legit embarrassed i didn't think of that 1st. twitter said that through its internal investigation, all it found was that this response to the release, the mammal hash tag, the response was organic. so basically, people support in that idea, want in the memo to come out. that memo, they claim dietz held f. b, i abuses and flaws when it was investigating those ties between donald trump and moscow. so they wanted it out. people were tweeting about it. and again, washington was saying, hey, these are all russian a trolls. they're bought farms,
3:33 pm
it's what i didn't find that's in itself. findings and it reported at to congress, but then twitter continue stating information like banning and suspending accounts and what was the source that they base their claims on? there was just 11 source and that one source is the hamilton. 68 dash board. oh, the famous yes oh yes, to that famous source, which by the way is under it was created by a former f b. i counter intelligence official and this under the auspices, by the way of the alliance for securing the democracy. twitter itself called that a combs play, so that to everyone, because this, when, as we know, western media got that story and all the headlines were russia interfering and all u. s. affairs. and we had western media outlets reports in this as a fact that russia was meddling not only in the presidential election, but also in the reports. looking into the alleged links with russia. nothing was
3:34 pm
been done about it. and sort of continued issue and statement saying that a we're fighting misinformation and they meant of course, russian misinformation. it's important to note our work to fight both malicious bots and misinformation goes beyond any one specific election event or time period . we spend years working to identify and remove spammy or malicious accounts and applications on twitter. well, in a well we can say that now with all who the real trolls were because we have twitter saying to congress that, hey, these accounts i have nothing to do with russia whilst continuing to suspend and ban russian accounts. so there were following along with what washington wanted, but internally we can see that there were discussion saying we can't find what these as twitter calls or congressional trolls won't from us. we can find any evidence to back that up. but okay, we'll continue suspending abandoned accounts many thanks for keeping his company here in our t international. we're back at the top of the,
3:35 pm
our season. ah o, former u. s. secretary of state condo, lisa rice, and former secretary. it depends. robert gates never the smartest people in the room worn, but time is not in ukraine side. they're actually right. but for the wrong reasons, they are perfectly happy to see the conflict and ukraine. contin. ah .
3:36 pm
with ah, what do you know about russia? i mean really know about this place. hi, i'm sean and when i came to this country, 13 years ago, i was lost in the land of expectations and the stereotypes and really i didn't know anything. what i discovered here was a place with deep culture and rich heritage and amazing people who had amazing
3:37 pm
stories to share. our goal is to make real connections with extraordinary people and those with global ideas and talents that we can all benefit from. and then quite simply give these hidden gems a platform to share their humanity with us. so we came here to news enough good to speak to hockey legend, go to a lady on us. now, you might be thinking hockey, it doesn't get much more stereotypical than russia and hockey. but what if i told you hockey was more than just a sport? maybe even an art or deeply philosophical. he got a lot of those nickname is the professor. and we came to ask him, why, when you have a piano, we have a piano. i want everything, the hockey national for the game is incredible. it's all about creativity. so again, should be for everybody. when a blind bullet joined,
3:38 pm
i took his hands in mine and asked him to imagine that his palms with his feet. that's mine is what matters a sedation, gonna be a normal and going to be back. hello. hi sean, how are you doing? well, i'm sure you got a lot of, you know, thank you very much for having us here and showing us your facility and letting us kind of into your life to see what you do here. so tell me about that a little bit that you are incredibly successful man of the world. you have one amazing achievements in hockey, but yet you come here to nearly no good to take on a team that is not necessarily at the top of his game, not the, not the best of the best. what's your philosophy and what are your goals? let me start with the trophies so, you know, you mentioned they want everything, the hockey except to one. gotta think of something that's the team i like in this
3:39 pm
shortly. ahead. obviously, the challenge behind my hiring for the sick whopping decision to come to the city because of that the tradition of the church, of this plop and the and the history of the this team and also diligence. you can see her plato for varying the ga since 1946. and the to me this down kind of remind me of detroit to because of the auto industry and the blue collar people in fashion. the passion for the game is incredible. so that's that the young team, and i would say it's a lot of effort to make this kind of projects successful because we got to pass. i'm young talented players. so this has been the kind of reject it from there and up in like the last 2345 years. and they've tried to develop, they know, tried to buy. they know we tried to develop whatever we half and tried to build
3:40 pm
a club. it was able to compete against the top teams in the league and, and bring that trophy to usually. so i've heard you say that hockey is like feeder, in fact, even going as far as saying that this type of the game brings people into the stands. it's like a good play for actors, and of course i'm paraphrasing here, but in this idea is hockey less of a sport in more theatrics? well, you know what the fuck you want to go in the global stage and, and bring the younger generation of france and the people. now you've got to do something special for them. so in terms of develop the players, develop the game and make the game attractive. to envision of france and families to come and enjoy the show. so because there is a game of like, it's a game, you know, and i tell the players, you know, that when you have a piano. so what do you, what do you do your company at all? he said, no, you play piano hockey, you work. no, you play,
3:41 pm
that's what the game is all about. they gave us all about creativity. it's all about the values, and we put that on this wall, ambitions, accountability, creativity, and the unity. so that's it's all about the team. it's all about be successful altogether. so old in, in all out. so that's them. that's what we're trying to build and they're trying to build is gonna take some time, but they're not gonna take too much time because of that, the season, a flight experimental. because of that, more than that, i should station her on the blog. so, and we're trying to use every detail to make this happen. like a nice way to talk to me a little bit more about this philosophy of your team. i can see ambitions here, and you mentioned creativity, but also you have read a lot about stoicism. is that the right type of a philosophy for what's happening right now in the world? and also how does that help build a t?
3:42 pm
well that's, that's the, that's the plan. that's the plan like a to, to tell the boys, you know what it says and what will happen to know old. so we part of this kind of the whole situation, you know, but you know, the players in the city, the country, the fans, and also the a lot of people around the country. so watch and out, because of that, you know, we, what we can do, we can, we can play hockey or we can do any also the players, you know, they play the game the playing, the game. they have to give like a 100 percent effort to give that hope and you know, and kind of like a diplomacy wise, they could do some stuff on dice and i'll do bring some joy, bring some excitement like surprise. our school, which is so be the graduates goals and greatest system there. great play and then the courage also. so that's the, that's the plan. that's the plan like a to ring the team together. bring the players together, have a goal, and altogether trying to accomplish this kind of role law on the lawn like american
3:43 pm
season. cool. let's see what else we can find here, right? a with . so i'm excited to be in this place. we'll get to where we are in a 2nd. but 1st, can you talk to me about hockey? i q. what is it? and can it be improved like regular intelligence? well, how to me. it is a hockey player, former hockey player. the coach is so high q a, i would say it's a number one priority to have on the team player knows the game. who knows, like how to make the decision. you're in the game. what given the
3:44 pm
line give the boys and i had to make the right decision. so that's very important. so that we tried to kind of create some drill. so i did during the practices. so the players, when they got the limits for that time and the in the small area, so you, you got to read the game, you gotta, what's gonna happen, what's gonna the next move next play or next isn't making. so that's the, that's the key. so, and that was the player was like a separate from the good to the great because when they got some like a highest i q, when do you have, when did they unpredictable? so that's what that takes the game to the next level and also appreciate you some appreciation for defense to, to see little detail in the game. she's going to make a big difference in terms ofa knew the game right, boss, the right goal and the recitation. when you use this kind of like you,
3:45 pm
you are or are known to have been part of the red machine. and the name itself implies that it's one group of people working together as one team to make it happen. teamwork is what it comes down to. but right now we're living in error of superstar, it's like sydney crosby of yet can model can for you which more interesting developing a team working together or, or kind of raising that next new star that can pull the game along. well, it's how would say you got to have individual like personnel just, you know, so the good players we can make a big difference. so, but, but the main goal for, for individuals to play the team game. so, you know, and we told the boys that we got the number one, sorry for the game as a team. and for my own experience, to have a high quality players and the high i q players that want to play the team game. so
3:46 pm
give yourself like so many options for you to be successful. so that's what we create on the team. we want to have like a nice game history between smart players and, and the players who can, they can see down the road. so to make a huge difference and, and you've got some young players who was making this, your steps towards that kind of understanding of the game. and you can't really rush it so, but you can be patient because of that that how you got it from the safe. but that when you see really in play by young players, so basically you gotta encourage them to keep doing that. you mentioned, if you see a 1000000000 play by a really player, you have to encourage them. how do you as a coach, spot talent? and how do you find the player to come here? you know what it's, it's, it's a really good question because i know, you know, obviously you got the stats and the reports and the from the scouts and there but, but you got to see the player in the, in the action. so that's what i like to do, and i want to see like what will display or can bring to the see what,
3:47 pm
what it will display or can make that you'll, you fail during just like brought you sort of the game. and you can see if you see like things like go doing quick and smart than the in the right time. so you can develop that. you can, you can get more out to the player. when did you really freedom to goes from mistakes in there and gray, some place sometimes mistakes or sometimes like interceptions. sometimes we've got your notes but you know what? the young players they know they have to express themselves and they gotta give them a chance. like to do that, continuing to develop your skills and get better. it's essential for any elite athlete. and for you, soto, that is even more the case. he picked up his entire life and moved from japan to russia, to train with the best. for 1st of all, thanks for coming out to me. thank you. so yeah, you moved here from japan, picked up your life. is it just so that you can train with the elite the best of
3:48 pm
the best, or is there some other motivation happening here? yeah, it's k l is the best in the order in for, for she's here. she became the head coach of to atlanta. and yeah, he in here and i said, of course i played it for this is how can, what is the next step for you? i mean, what, where do you see your career going? you want to pay for the ent child. you want to stay in the cage. what, what is your goal? obviously, plane as well as my drink. well, my dream and the 1st of all i want to play in k show what i got, and i think of japan, i don't really think of hockey as one of the major exports. is japan big on hockey? and do you think that your example here can bring other young players to make
3:49 pm
hockey something more strong? yeah, and then of course i, one of the examples for young kissinger japan like i want to prove a japanese player, completing this lee. and so we're talking about the environments of a player is being important for their develop and talk to me and tell me more about that idea. well, well, when you, when you have a young player in the hands, so you know, you've got to get my kind of welcome to feel like a comfortable and environment. so because the young players say usual, they got off a shy and, and if you see the talent, you got to surround this value, the right people, especially people that experience who can help because the coaches, you know, we can talk, we can, we can guide them and we can give some a whole different advisors, but the same the same time experience players who's been nice and who's been in the
3:50 pm
base within the locker room. so that's where you want to have like the right environment. so that's because the young players so benefits from that to have around the answer on. so who's been around for many years and then we can go kind of tell them or show some details. she's very important to our overall development . what about the idea of inclusivity is hockey and inclusive sport? i mean, i know that playing at the most elite levels, you have to be a physical condition. but are there opportunities for people who might not have too many alternative abilities? let's say is, is hockey inclusive? well, it's a difficult question to answer so, but i guess in my mind, so a game should be for everybody. they know the gills and the voice and, and as i try candidates, it's a game or, you know, bring to the game of, i could bring some, my joy and the expectations. and also i kind of relief when you know,
3:51 pm
what do you, what do you in school when you are able to amish repairs here when you go from my work to the ice rink to play the game. so he's kind of like therapy. so when you enjoyed the game and kind of like a couple doors, those thoughts are on your side and then just go enjoy. so basically it's again for everybody with for, for thank you for having us out here. it's really cool to watch these kids train. so for these kids is hockey more of therapy, or is it also a sport for them as well?
3:52 pm
it's different for every child to for some of them it's therapy. others was planned to a big future in sports. each case is unique. some of the kids are already testing themselves against adults. well, continuing to train with you sites the rest continue the development. it really depends on each case and the disability. do i know? so this kids deal with pain and suffering in many cases on different levels. every single they ha, but hockey is known to be a very physical sports, demanding. it can be painful and sometimes dangerous. is that not a worry for these kids? not like a little boy, boy. well, like any sports. no one's immune to injury. jimmy mean m. however, the emotional satisfaction and thrilled that they get on the ice outweighs everything on our new streaming song as if i had more. of course no one wants to be injured. people say that i'm an law chimney mean,
3:53 pm
but you just have to be prepared. a lot of it get all because it's sport for so these kids they deal with pain on a daily basis as we've already talked about. oh, but for every athlete there's a motivation, what drives these kids to get up every day and come to the ice and do something so physical or vegetable? some of these kids will have a future in adult sledge, hockey. i knew that i would say at the both or others forward, it's just an opportunity to smile, to feel happy. i say forgetting because when they come here, they forget about the pain and their limitations on a venue i spoke with you a pretty active in your last, not just a sports club for them. it's a family, it's a place where we get together to train sex or if we join into club competitions. but i'm a bit, according to the middle, is what many of these kids live for to the point that they can't imagine their life without sledge hockey style associations of years ago. but from that, the nor sledge hockey is a very unique sport. i'm, you know,
3:54 pm
in your experience of any of these kids who gone on to a bigger level, i understand that there is a national sledge hockey team as well. and then, maybe, you know, of any cases of people who have overcome their disability and even been able to go on to pay professional hockey in the n h l, or kato, back at me with us. and you know, we're still a relatively young organization that groups which of nice me, but we've only been training children for 3 years. so nothing like that as happened here yet. huh. yeah. then yeah, but i know that it has happened in canada for example. rubbish for 2 cases when sledge, hockey players who had one leg were able to play ice hockey with able bodied athletes using a custom made prosthetic leg. and a movie that i promised we're starting new groups now are adaptive ice hockey for children with autism. it will be regular, vertical ice, hockey and snowbrite. we're currently signing kids up for that group now and about any of the fatigue. lynn, is that answer. then there will be a new ice hockey group. the people who are visually impaired, fell asleep when,
3:55 pm
when a blind boy joined, we wanted him to get a feel for the ice 1st. he touched the rink as the board, the glass and the net, so he could get his bearings. no one put him in, i took his hands in mine. i did so and asked him to imagine that his palms were his feet. but i'll your okay. yes. now i moved his hands to show him how to skate. and he tried to copy the movement with his legs saying, okay, that boy hadn't unforgettable and emotional experience. he was thrilled beyond words and cultural needs them a while. it was difficult, of course, as he'd never skated before. and he was exhausted, harassed, and wasn't looking for that. there was a smile on his face nor all through the training session. her inside that smile is what matters. little doors lead. you and i have touched on this a little bit in our conversations off camera, but i right now we're an incredibly politically driven times where politics are affecting sports and checking the players and sports. do you think that
3:56 pm
this is a problem? is this going to be bad for all sports in general or, and what can we do to move past it? you know, what you can look at this situation that got a different angles so there's nothing much i can do right now. we just are, you know, we play in the game and when you, you know, kind of like a situation, but going to give you some like a isolation from international hockey. so you still gotta do what are you into best . you know, you can enjoy the game, you can develop, you can work on different details, and then is the same time just hope for later solicitation going to be a normal and you going to be back. so that's that. you know, that's what we can do this or we can do it because, you know, we got to get in every game. we got full house, i got 5500 people are watching the game. and those people come into that, you know, to watch a game and forget about the travel you got about. so what's going on?
3:57 pm
i was out of this building so i just got to give it back to them. and they just kind of like any artist or go into the theater at the station. we don't know what they doing behind stage, but what they do in the station will support us. so that's why all the boys are just go out and, and show, show you best. and they give some, i hope, and they give some joy for that. oh i people who came to the gates. now you're called the professor, and i'm just an observer. is there anything that i may have forgotten to ask anything that you think it's important for people to know about what you do, your philosophy or just life in general? well, i'm not sure if i can give some guidance or what's the last of via i would recommend or something like that. but you know what it says when you do your job, when you come i to be a working place. i come to school, come to hi corinne, come to the tennis court. i'm to college, come to go anywhere. so you gotta,
3:58 pm
you gotta enjoy when you're doing so you're obviously you, you can have a lot of excuses. i like about the weather, about the politics about this, about that, but you got to enjoy the life you got to enjoy. you got to watch what you do and you gotta do like in a good corpus. and that's what you do like it. thank you for taking the time and appreciate it very much. thank you. educational and very, very impressive. thank you very much. thank you. ah ah ah ah, is your media a reflection of reality
