a busy morning for many of us in new delhi, with the indian as steel presidency ushering in some new approaches to asian or eurasia and security. at the tone for this conference was said by the bilateral meeting between the defense ministers of india and china beach, in and of itself, was a pretty remarkable event because it's the 1st meeting of such kind after border clashes in 2020 and the ministers trust the frankness of their discussions and really showed that the spirit of this particular conference and the new spirit emerging here in eurasia, american dominance of western germany was particularly a theme of russian defense ministers. litigation, roy, good. who accused the united states of trying to saw disc worth of trying to so violent for the sake of protecting its own privileged position, or live cardinal dynamic,

an irreversible changes are taking place in the process of the formation of a new mall type polar world. the collective west who actively opposed to assist in an effort to maintain global dominance. the united states and its allies seriously eroded their global security architecture and their initiative of the process of breaking and dismantling agreements on arms control and competence. the building was large structure, the actual private cell phone being the world's largest regional organization covering are roughly 60 percent of the ration landmass. russia, india, and china, the central and south asia as a huge, any potential, a region that could provide many synergies in economic development. but it is also quite sensitive to various security threats coming from non state actors like terrorist organizations, but also state actors and the western particular russia in china, mainly concerned that the united states,

often rather disorderly withdrawal from afghanistan, may now seek to create instability in central agency as a means all undermining its adversaries in beijing and moscow is something that russian defense minister in particular, paid attention to because russia believes that what the united states is trying to do. and central asia is pretty much exactly the same. what it already did in your crane militarized country, trying to make it increasingly antagonistic towards russia. russia's defense minister also made a point. the regional powers have a lot to gain from their corporation in military to your end. you particularly singled out a couple of trajectories that can take, for example, the exchange of military information joined exercises, both as a way of increasing mutual trust and as a way of increasing combat readiness. he also said that russia could share its

expertise on how to produce all parade to defend against the use of drones. this is a particular theme emerging out of the ukrainian conflict. the or a priority. the versus the fundamental start mentioned is conflict resolution. now that's one in particular is crossing for russia, reaches engaged, involved in confrontation in your brain. and it's also something that both india and china are looking at with great interest. as you perhaps know, china has been pretty successful in bringing together our tribals, like saudi arabia in iran, india, as a former member of known the line movement and representative of the global south would also old for some new perspectives on how to conduct international relations . and how to conduct diplomacy in a way that actually falster is piece rather on demising rations defense

sides, putting the blame on the other. it's just one and a series of scraps that dates back decades. but with the chinese defense ministers visit and pakistan's foreign minister joining the meeting. it looks like diplomacy is on the agenda. that despite decades old sour relations between new delhi and islam of odd and wide spread opposition and india to the participation of pakistan's top diplomat in the summit. but india has not back down on its invitation. and that's a move. beijing is more than happy with noting the china and pakistan are all the weller strategic cobra to partners and close friends. the weiss, chairman of china's central military commission, said that no matter how the international situation changes, china always gives pakistan priority in its neighbourhood diplomacy. the shanghai cooperation organization consists of 8 member stay 42 percent of the world's population and 25 percent of its g. d. p. formed by china, russia,

and for central asian countries back in 2001. the organization was and is still intended to counter western influence in the region with the ukraine conflict in full swing and multi polarity growing throughout the world. groups like this one are more relevant than ever. the u. s. has seen before is to disclose full information on its military assistance to ukraine, along with the number of special operations troops deployed there. a resolution introduced by republican congressman mat gates one initial approval earlier this week. the biden administration and other allied countries have been misleading the world on the state of the war and ukraine. there must be total transparency from this administration to the american people when they are gambling in war with a new killer adversary by having special forces operating in ukraine. the resolution come several weeks after an alleged leak of classified pentagon
5:11 pm
documents shedding, like under wrecked us involvement in the war with washington having deployed 14 special operators there. however, congressman gave isn't the only lawmaker raising questions about joe violence, foreign policy, 19 house, and senate republican lawmakers on a joint letter to the u. s. president. calling for him to stop providing military a to crane as tender with russia are only escalating former pentagon official miko mo loop believes that the by ministration is reluctant to disclose any information over its military support. ukraine, despite the concern of thumb in congress, is increasingly is that the whole effort in ukraine and u. s. participation is, is causing great angst and increase in angst. and it's also calling into question the need for accountability and, and the desire for that accountability and the administration doesn't appear to be
5:12 pm
forthcoming. and consequently, the congress, at least the house is going to do something about it with this resolution, as you pointed out it as past initial favor and it could go to the full house and that will force the administration to make information available quickly. that comes is going to be another matter. this administration has been very reluctant to respond to the republican dominated out on anything. and, and i think that they will try to drag their feet on this as well. they don't want that accountability. it made public this probably much more going on a cranium official has revealed key information is being handed to the f. b. i to help catch people on social media who could be suspected of being under russian
5:13 pm
influence. saying that key at coordinates. it's quote hunting efforts with washington. once we have a trace of evidence of disinformation campaigns via facebook or other resources that have from the u. s, we pass this information to the f b i. along with writing directly to facebook, we asked the f b i for support to help us with meta to help us with others. and sometimes we get good results. with that, we say ok, this was the person who was probably russia's influence for laura on this less cross live now to your former c i, officer and host of the whistleblowers john kieriyaki. john is great to have you on the program today. so i guess the initial question is how big of a deal is this revelation? i think it's a big deal because it, it essentially confirms the information that we had from matt tb and others that the same thing was happening at twitter. it's not just that you have elements of federal law enforcement and the intelligence community working alongside or along
5:14 pm
with these companies. you have federal law enforcement and intelligence making demands of these social media companies and the companies are doing as they're told . so i think this is, this is very dangerous. it, it really offers up a direct constitutional questions as to freedom of speech and, and freedom from interference. right? and now in there is that kind of the back and forth saying that there was always going to be a war, fought on more than just the physical front lines. so what do you make this approach to go to social media to look at what people online are saying, and to target that or even to judge that is saying someone who goes on facebook and makes a post, may be questioning what's happening between russia and ukraine. in a way that isn't approved to by the mainstream narrative that they could then be under russian influence. what does that mean exactly? i think the allegation that somebody who disagrees with the mainstream narrative is
5:15 pm
under russian is influence is exactly what is dangerous. in this scenario, this is the government, whether it's directly or indirectly, clamping down on a constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech. if i want to support the russian narrative in the conflict as an american, i should be free to express that opinion on social media. i'm allowed to believe anything i want to believe. that's the american way. so to, to not only try to squelch that but to squelch it through the use of federal law enforcement. i mean isn't that really what, what fascism is? yeah, yeah, exactly. and you would think that they would make that connection there, but i guess in some cases they expect that people just want. now another interesting comment here, the head of the ukrainian security services says that anything that goes against
5:16 pm
this country on line can be considered as fake. once you make of a statement like that saying, if it's something i don't like, then it must be fake news. i know we've heard a lot of that in, in recent years, but what is the precedence set by that kind of mindset? yeah, the precedent that it sets is a precedent of censorship. and again, this is, this is a anti freedom. it's anti constitutional. this is exactly what we're supposed to be fighting against, at least in the west. this is what we say that we're fighting against that. that statement is, it's so ridiculous to tell you the truth that i, i honestly just can't even take it seriously. this is, this is a representative of a country that the united nations has told us, is one of the most corrupt in the world. and he's going to tell us what fake news is, i think not allies corruptions unlike goes out the door when it's convenient. now
5:17 pm
some of these accounts that are being looked at are those of people who are in the u. s. so i guess the question is, who are they trying to route out here? i think that they're trying to route out. well, there are 2 answers to that question. first, they are trying to route out legitimate propagandists, people whose job it is to try to change the narrative. i understand that i get that every country does it. but the, the 2nd part of the answer is they're trying to root out anybody who might be influential in changing the outlook of the mainstream. the government has told us what the official view is. the official view is that if you're american, you support ukraine and you support the efforts that the white house is taking to arm and to equip ukraine if you're an american and you disagree with that. and many of us do, many of us don't want to spend billions of dollars in taxpayers money to, to arm ukraine. then the idea is to silence you. and they can do that overly,
5:18 pm
which is a little bit dangerous, or they can do it covertly by trying to effect the algorithm on the social media platform that you're using so that nobody can see what your opinion is. now i want to get into that a little bit more because we've heard recently from facebook that they apply to limited sharing penalties and a quote unquote false information label. to links containing journalist seymour hersh, his story, alleging washington's involvement in the destruction of the north stream pipelines . so when it comes to labels like that, i mean, what really is the president sat by facebook going in and saying, hey, we may allow you to make this post, but we're going to limit the reach and then we're going to slap a label on it. anyone else that sees it will automatically question whether or not you are sharing legitimate information. yeah, this is a very dangerous development using seymour hersh as, as an outstanding example of this. this is one of the most highly regarded and most
5:19 pm
widely awarded investigative journalists in the modern history of the united states . certainly over the last half century, this is a man has one multiple, a pulitzer prizes. he's one half a dozen, polk awards for investigative journalism. this is exactly the kind of journalist that all the rest of us should want to be like. but the fact that his investigations have led him to conclusions that are outside the u. s. political mainstream. that is a threat to the empire. and so look, we all know that side her she is telling the truth, we all know that sy hersh has extraordinary sources inside the american intelligence community. we know from 50 years of his writing, that when he writes something, it's true. the fact that some faceless, nameless bureaucrat at meta is deciding that we don't get to hear that opinion that
5:20 pm
we don't get to see the results of his investigative journalism is, is the threat. it's exemplary of the threat. facing americans to day in terms of controlling the flow of information. absolutely, and it's a reminder that if they're going to go after seeing more hearse and they're going to go after anyone else, it doesn't matter the accolades that you have earned throughout your career. now i guess the final question here is, what do you think that the increase in control over content on social media will eventually lead to well, on the one hand, i think that i think that things have turned around to twitter at least in fits and starts what you on musket, whether you like you on mosque or not, he's a free freedom of speech, absolutist which he very proudly says, that's good for all of us. because we can exchange ideas and exchange information and not have to worry about being banned or having our algorithm adjusted so nobody can see what we're doing, mana is different. you know,
5:21 pm
you can start with vaccines for example, and then you move on to ukraine. and the next thing you know it's, it's going to be domestic politics. this is exactly what we should be fighting against. we should be fighting for more information not to be exposed to less information. yeah, definitely some important lessons to be learned there for marcia officer john kerry . ok to thank you so much for your time and inside this. your thanks for having the ah, are on, has ordered top us officials and entities to pay more than $300000000.00 and compensation to victim of a series of attack several years ago by the terrorist group known as dash. or i saw the court ruling said the us had provided support for the group, and was thus liable for the blood shed. the reasons for attributing these crimes to the us have also been stated by the investigating branch among others as follows. statements by hiring can officials,
5:22 pm
including the former us president about the central role of the government and officials of that country in organizing. and direct inter is groups including isis reliable news and information published in the american media books and speeches. but american officials about the role of the cia and create inter is groups including isis. the court rulings visit will reach targeted, former us president george shelby bush and brock obama, as well as the ca and defense contractor lockheed martin. the terrorist attacks occurred in june 2017 in central to ron, and the national parliament building and the model of the country. former supreme leader, 17 people including m. p. 's were killed about 50. other people were wounded. isis immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. political analysts into iran university professor siad mohammed mirandi, discuss the significance of the court's ruling with my colleague earlier. there is a long history here because the united states has taken iran to court inside the
5:23 pm
united states on many occasions. they've even taken the iran to court over 911 if anyone can believe that iran has been regularly punished by a u. s. the u. s. government and u. s. courts. but and the iranian, since they have had assets are frozen in the united states. and in europe it's, that's always been a problem. iran doesn't hold us assets. so in immediate future, there really isn't much that can be done. but the world is changing rapidly in the americans are withdrawing from the region and who knows what sort of opportunities will be around in the coming months and years. but i think at least for the moment it is a political response to the united states. it's sort of the global south speaking back to power. right. and the iranians are saying that remind or reminding the
5:24 pm
world that the united states created isis from famously admitted during his presidential campaign. and he knew that because michael flynn was his military and intelligence advisor and we had other officials admitted and in the media and books come out. so this is basically a reminder that the iranians have been suffering at the hands of the united states . and this is just one chapter, let's move on to a little bit about iran, on it's relations with russia, china, in the south of the bricks. how do you see in the outer, on moving in, in this direction? time is not on the side of the americans because as the world changes, iran relationships with countries like china and russia in india are evolving. and now that iran is a member of the shanghai cooperation organization that has also benefited iran
5:25 pm
relationship with these countries and russia ever since. the war in ukraine and the war in europe. the russians have been very keen on establishing the north south transport core door with iran, so you roms, you economic relations. political relations, of course, are significant. have said big significantly improved as well. but he wanted economic relations with these asian powers. and with the global south are evolving and that is making american sanctions less effective. and i think the united states and europeans have to keep in mind that in the world they are a small minority. latin american countries are converging whether the americans like it or not. asian countries are converging. we see the same sort of trend in africa and then we have these broader groupings, like rick cit, link all of these different continents to one another. 2024

democratic presidential nominee hope for robert kennedy has fallen out of this sensors overcome as he may about coven vaccines in interview with a b. c. news. i should note that during our conversation, kennedy made false claims about the coven. 19 vaccines data shows that the coven 19 vaccines prevented millions of hospitalizations and deaths from the disease. he also made misleading claims about the relationship between vaccinations and autism . research shows in vaccines and the ingredients used for the vaccines do not cause autism and clean multiple studies involving more than a 1000000 children and major medical associations like the american academy of pediatrics and the advocacy group. autism speaks, we've used our editorial judgment and not including extended portions of that exchange in our interview. whether or not one agrees with what our f k had to say or whether or not he's correct. these were his words as a candidate for president of the united states. but yet we have media outlets determining that they are simply not fit for public consumption. and he's by no

means a fringe candidate. i mean, this is, this is a relative, a very close relative of a former us president. this is quite an interesting situation. we understand that the twitter outlet on social media is also involved in these kinds of activities. for particular, we had a situation where the world health organization had actually called at one point advising that children to not be vaccinated. and then the recently removed from the airwaves, radio and tv housed in the united states, tucker carlson. he reported on this and then we had twitter moving in to shut down this claim and to silence the fact that was indeed reported that the. busy house organization was calling for children at that point to not be vaccinated. as we see, the exchange is revealed about twitter. they argued that this back should be shut down because of political risks. here's what they said. while reading and then the
5:28 pm
see of twitter files. one request to since alleged covered misinformation stood out . tucker carlson. tuck actually cited the world health organization's own website, which stated that the w h. i was not recommending children. get the cov id, vax after twits. it began reviewing tuckers all paid full, alleged coven, 19 misinformation, and employee e mails that they would take action by labeling any tweets linking the article. now the very twitter employee who over saw this action against tucker carlson's op at this very twitter employee had previously worked for chuck schumer, a member of the u. s. congress to add a strong disagreement with tucker carlson. so there's a political edge to this. now, this raises even more questions because robert kennedy junior was running for president, says that he intends to prosecute to those who prevent it accurate medical information from getting to the us public. and that if he were to become president,
5:29 pm
he would make sure that accurate medical information was available and he would oppose censorship, done for political purposes. and this comes at the same time that 500 vaccine injured individuals in australia have fired, filed a lawsuit, arguing that they were not provided with accurate information. and that they would like to see big pharma and those were engaged in censorship on its behalf. held accountable for the fact that they were injured. so it appears that the forces in the united states and elsewhere that have been censoring social media and determining what the public has the right to hear and what the public does not have the right to your art. so that's all for now. be sure to check out our t v dot com for all of the later.
