to browse, jingle bells, jingle all the way all on it is due. right. in a one hour or so. mm hm. all right. yeah, we did. good. yeah, that brought us. uh yeah, we got the christmas spirit now. who's got a cigarette for me. i'm dying here with this christmas cards are christmas. come on the we got here the you can do just as you're the master of your own destiny. i guess the same thing. angelo. originally, camp. he went to harvard for free law. yeah. yeah. he went to the most
5:01 am
prestigious school in america with our so just shows that, you know, anybody can be in these champs here. that we've had people that are familiar. there's in the past and i had big businesses, different things can throw you over the edge. so people shouldn't be so judge mental about the homeless because it can happen. i could have enjoyed, almost anybody seems like they're yeah, they're covering these pilots up and down this this guy is certainly around is there. we've got a nice camp here. everything's playing, everything's orderly. we're just afraid this guy is circling around here with a helicopter. yeah, he's jumper circle on around us. coming around and probably taking pictures or whatever. no government money, we're living simple, living, you know, living 3 and doing the right thing. you know, and the, tell me what you said,
5:02 am
you know, chevy engine will box and you got to jump through there hoops. you know, be there little service still going around. i don't know. it was hard to tell those police or what very, very disturbing industry. sure. i mean, we still got, we still yeah, from the front. well that's, that's normally what they do either. that's not written in stone that they've got to do that. you know, it's human. so they gotta give us a little time, right? i would, i would think so it'd be, yeah, you be a little bit of a heart. yeah. yeah. it's certainly a matter time. do you have a copy or came around today? flew around a couple of times, stage stationary on an angel over here to you know, to look down at the tab. so he was definitely up there to look at us. so we'll see what happens. right, right. steve, is the township found out that we are back there and then it wasn't long after the
5:03 am
police since a tractor down there to take pictures of us. and then the police came down and you know, came down for a couple of different reasons. so check on us. yeah. then they, they close this gate here us. so we could access the power lines here and i, i guess they figured that there was no other way to get onto the power lines. they might have figured if they shut the gate, we couldn't use an automobile to get in and out. that would be too difficult and people would leave, leave out of there. but um, yeah, we did find this other route to come in. so it's, it's a difficult flu, but we, you know, at least it's a way to bring in materials. brands, things that they need, we know for now water and different supplies, food, things like that to try to bring in suppliers for the whole camp by hand. would be almost impossible. so if you at least be filing that alternative route, we're not using government resources back there. you know, we're saving the government money that you would think, maybe the government,
5:04 am
it would, you know, try to make things easier for us since we're saving the money. first, the other stuff, the case. if i didn't have a, a good truck, you know, with 4 wheel drive, i couldn't go in the new way. yes. to personally i can't see any reason why they wouldn't leave that open. i don't, i don't understand. personally, i think the government needs to help all these homeless instead of sending money over to ukraine and all those other countries worried about your own country . my name's lisa lisa. we just just take care of the checks. here you go, see the checks. do you want to show some searches? yeah, these are beautiful check soon to the right to control. you know, so we're over there just about ready to go outside and start to start the job. collecting checks, then a little ways other hopefully with the list there, most them or females sort of started linux for us. yeah, they all,
5:05 am
i know. tell i the mouse. ok. this is snowflake. and the one that's on the box over there. that's jag, he's a male, but these are my baby. this is what keeps me going. the idea is just sad situation. it makes me cry. there's little kids that are homeless, but i'm finding out they're taking kids and so on for us that really come on now. life is too short, painful, too short and sad. it makes me want me to start. i'm sorry. i just wish we had a president died cared so we don't have
5:06 am
5:07 am
the, [000:00:00;00] the, and of course now that i hear that he's with china from what i hear, we're going to be taken over and about probably easier. and trump, let me tell you, he was an idiot. from the day we took, he took power. he was all down. and while i was over to see that boy in uh, in north north korea or whatever. and me and him are good friends and everything and. and he was 2 weeks later he was cute missiles in the
5:08 am
year. i mean, he doesn't care about us to get shoes to 0501 like, you know, it goes you. oh, the engine like sneak or no. okay. yeah. yeah, certainly. yours. uh let's see. so we've got a one girl moved in last night yesterday and then we've got 4 people moving in and about 4 days. and then there's another 2 people that might have to move in. so it's, it's growing. and so it's, it's right around 18 right now. so it'll be over 20, you know, in a week yes. or she was over in the or all with no place to go. so somebody is given her my number to is very chilly. last night sleep outside with nothing would have been there. i had no place to go. nobody would help me. i go to services
5:09 am
. i get all kinds of stuff. i made 15000 phone calls, and nobody would help me before that i was at a motel. they did for me up the account for a little while, but they wouldn't extend my motel stay. and then without the street again, then i had no place to stay and that was the very 1st day i was actually out on the street where i had no place to go. and then he helped me. i mean, i'm old. i don't, i don't want to live by myself somewhere. and this is my biggest thing. i didn't want to be in the woods all by myself. you know, and, and be scared here. here. i have, you know, there's people here who are so nice and everybody's kind to me here and, and, and this is a great, you know, it's, it's, it's a good thing to have. at least you have this, you know, you're, you're very vulnerable and susceptible to the whims of the government. they can come in here and shut this down for the girls. for any reason they want to dream up, you know, and create, go because it's a good chance that people there, you know,
5:10 am
they take their garbage in the bag it up, but i take it out of here. it's a clean champ. it's an award. the camp, it's just a good chance. yeah. and the good people there. so you know, there should be champs like this around america. people can afford housing, this gives them freedom, it gives them community. it gives them all kinds of aspects that they need as an individual, you know, and we're complicating things and we need uh, we need a complicated type of system to live in my practice. good god, i have a really good morning at least to pine trees here, straight ones. these are in need of to this area. rockefeller had all of the street pine trees imported in planets in this, in this area here. so we're in ocean county park, also called rockefeller's park. this used to be j. d. rockefeller's the stage. you
5:11 am
know, he was normally stationed in in new york and then when he decided to retire, he lives here. i think for about 20 years. lakewood was an extremely prosperous town. it was the playground of the rich and famous as i would say. a lot of billionaires lived in lakewood around the turn of the century. 1900. you know, he had a very rich and famous the original man that ever lived in the history of the world lived here. and, yeah, now it's, it's one of the poor as towns in the area. in fact, uh, i think it's considered the poor is town at ocean county right now or. yeah, we're all on route to the main camp, but uh, there's uh, a couple man and a woman who's living in one of these a band and buildings right here. been in houses. there's about 4 of them in a row right here. and other, they're spending the nights in one of these houses, so they call me every so often for some water, and then uh propane, they've got a small propane heater that they put in a room to stay warm. and they have
5:12 am
a little propane stove that they use to cook on. you know, i get a lot of calls from people that are an adverse situation. is that are living in their car that are uh, either living in somebody's house on their couch or in their basement, living in some adverse condition. they need some help. so the property owners, if they find out that people are living in these houses, i'm sure they'll be checked out. but so they've got to be very quiet. they got to leave early in the morning, come back late at night. and they've got, you know, they can't have any lights on it where it would shine through a window or anything like that. they've got to stay located, but everybody has a right to have a place to lay their head. that's a basic human. right. and so, you know, the problem is that the government in this area at least this is withholding that basic human right from the people. and it's is morally wrong is ethically wrong. it's, it's constitutionally wrong, as you know, is just wrong or across the board. but it goes up, it happens all the time. and so,
5:13 am
you know, it's, it's, it's a, it's a crime against humanity is what it is. this is jill with an oxygen down there. you know, especially the generator need the generator, you know, 247 around the clock is kind of a life and death situation for 2 of the women down there. right now with the price of gas the way it is. it's already $600.00 a month to keep up with the costs of the gasoline that it takes for these generate this generator to keep going. price of gas goes up is going to be more and more expensive to keep these women alive down. and we can actually get machines. yeah, for a seal pd. so this is the machine here for an s the machine. okay. and you, you've tried other places with your social services and nothing. right? no, because i have a dog. my dog needs a lot to make sure that right it's, it's important. yeah, no, that's right. yeah. the animal can be part of the family for sure. don't ask for
5:14 am
larry, where's on? yeah, they shut down surface room and ram or. yeah, it was low and some, some movies november they. yes. shut it down. and it's not because i didn't write it because they sold it right here. 00 less affordable place to live in the area. that's right. yeah. no, i had a trailer on my own. all, this is the last resort. they all try to make it as comfortable as possible, but just no, no other options. me. 60 for angela, i just ordered it's heirloom and it's organic don chemo. everything's going to be
5:15 am
non g hmo. you know, i got 50 seeds of a plants health because people i gave plan here. i don't want to be under around to be over. we have an abundance we can give to others. i can cook 3 or a child in a plant like a plant farm i can make, or i can make the 3 gig plan where you put it in the flower and you put little chunks of garlic on top of it. this is page and we get some span of cobra. there we go. ok. that. yeah. above which spanish, so spanish and uh let's see. what else do we need to see? uh kind of cheese for sure. really. well, we're gonna that right. we're going to do it. we've got a big area right here, right? right here is a big area. it just swell is tremendous with this area in jersey is not known for good story. i know, but whatever reason why? because i think this, this is one plan and so i had
5:16 am
a lot of bio matter rolling in the change here and it created a very, you know, the cold, much soil twice certain areas and which is fantastic. and so we, we just happen to be bless another god. since we're blessed with good soil right here. we've got a plot of land and see if we go about 20200 yards over here. oh wow. yeah, $201.00 at a football field. football field with the uh too far. so i think 200 maybe a 150 yards. 200 yards. so yeah, we'll put this down with a lot more and then we'll get the router chiller, finding the winner silver mitchell this soil up here. and are you going to your, the seats on order? i got them on order. i got to now i'm going to be ordering more, you know, because i'm looking at, i want to make sure it's heirloom, non g m o, you know, i don't want to become a genetic hybrids waiting for. the stream will tap into the stream for washing
5:17 am
water for showers like that. but the excess that run continues to run right? if was right there, past the tower and run most, the ones would just as little pond there now, but with 3 year old dig around, you know what you guys are taking feet deep? yeah, we'll create a box, right. and then was the generator in the poll, what company or did our, our guard why everybody has problems. i mean, both my children are living with people that they're scared. we're going to throw them out in the street any day. you know, i'm saying so here they can't help me because every time they try to help me, it gets them and jump trouble. yeah. so yeah, we're here and in the liquid industrial park, this is, i think, the 2nd largest industrial parks in the state as it's a very big industrial park. these are more manufacturing type jobs or service type
5:18 am
jobs. and you know, typically don't pay real well. and so you know, lot of times people that are working here, they need to jobs or they need their, their spouse needs to be working a good job also to afford in spain. and the problem is the costs of housing keeps on going on. cost of living keeps on going up, inflation keeps on going up, gas keeps on going up. so all the costs of living keeps on rising, but the salaries typically are keeping up. so it's a big problem for a lot of families. you know, i'm seeing it firsthand with families. i got another family coming down into the homeless camp this week. you will have 5 complete families living in the 10 city. yeah, i've done some research on the family history, thomas bring them to move. in 1635, my personal family, the brigham family had a key role in starting the revolution. guiding the revolutions and
5:19 am
participating a $117.00. brigham was born in the revolution hall related to the so yeah, this idea of equality is near and dear to my heart. and i can't see why these government agencies are doing, you know, what they're supposed to do in guarding the rights of the people in treating everybody equally. you know, that's part of the reason why i do this in lakewood because i see groups of people that are being discriminated against and just respected, you know, and it's just not the american way the
5:20 am
the, the russian states never as tight as one of the most sense community, best english, i'll send some of the same assistance to father speedy when else calls. question about this, even though we will then in the european union, the kremlin media mission, the state on russia today and supports the r t. suppose next. even our video agency, roughly all the band on youtube,
5:21 am
the senior said this was a request for check the check so yeah, this is by bed. i a, the seats, like i said, they fold down here. and so i put a, a table on the bottom. well, on top of the seats, and then i put about 3 sleeping bags on top of that. and then i have this 0 rated sleeping bag for the wintertime. and uh yeah, i'll call in there and. yeah, typically i'm toasty warm. i've got a space either here or a bed buddy. propane heater. yeah, you really don't need a whole lot. you know, it's a survivor. you just need your basics. and once you have those, you know, you can be happy as long as you're happy on the inside. so yeah, we,
5:22 am
when the government tries to fit you in just in this expense of box where you've got to pay so much money just to 5. i think they're taking your freedoms away, preaches, you don't need all this if it's, if it's all my needs and i'm completely content, you know, just to stay here really don't need anything else the the, well, it's kind of a sad situation. sad feeling here. this was a brightening community of homeless people and everybody had their uh, little area with their tents. and they were bigger tense. they were 10 man 10. some
5:23 am
were even bigger than 10 man tense. and uh they had heat in the winter. they had enough food. they had all the clothes that they needed. they had all their basic needs met. it saves the tax, pay about a $1000000.00 a year every year. we are here. if they were the house, the county or the government was the house. these people that hotels like they normally did, it would have it would cost the county a $1000000.00 a year. so how's the people? yeah, this camp here and this was, this was a group to about a 122 people. that's at the peak. i started it pretty much from the, from the get go. i moved in realizing that i needed to be here to protect the homeless from the outside and also to manage the, to make sure that things were organized. we had no place to put our garbage. you know, a place for a bathroom and you know, just the basic and,
5:24 am
and the people were happy ellipse of the people that lived here were very happy news. and this is public property. it belongs to the public, you know, which should have been accessible to the views of people. but what was happening here was the media, the press were coming down here and they were showing this. uh, you know, it's, it, so the world basically the and uh, what was happening is the township didn't like the publicity didn't like the light shown on lakewood. so they did what they could to close this place then we'll, we'll we'll so close down on july, 3rd, 2014 day before the 4th of july independence day, they shut this camp down and, and told everybody they had to leave. and that was the last day of just beautiful
5:25 am
camp. the, the, you are heading down to the champ, richard for the senior champ, most of the people there are seniors over 55. and we'll jump off a few things to the chance me a matter of a couple of years. i've been living in sheds buckboard was constantly getting more disposed. i could go into a home depot and lowes and tell them what a great carpenter i am. and i always get higher and they kind of a way this, people don't have money to spend. all, all contract is cutting the price. so there's no profit in it,
5:26 am
and it's tough to get the job. i do things get worse this year. the general definitely got worse because of the economy, but it, when i was i was in florida and somebody had given me her, her vehicle and she said, i gotta get it back. i said, how do i get the the back? she said, bring it here. i said it cost me a $1000.00 from gasoline to get but minus $1000.00. right hander, bank the car wasn't the bad luck. i wouldn't have it but, but i never lost my face a couple of times. i question it, but the face of the lower in this guy right here. i'm just watching with what now and everything that donald trump did for this country and everybody hates and the status of the democrats is wrong. it's just wrong. all these aliens cummins millions,
5:27 am
coming into the country. it shouldn't be here. she gather more, ship a mountain now of the but that's not gonna happen as long as the democrats in the white house commander in chief he doesn't mean always own name. sometimes he flies around on air force, one choke people help me out in this truck right here is a major example how people you know, can be very generous and helpful. somebody met me, you know, at the dealership and they gave me this truck. it's a 2022 and it's brand new and they just gave it to me. and so this is, this is the kind of stuff i need to continue to do what i do for the homeless and the 4 of this because every, yeah, every day is, is busy, especially this time of year. it's the, you know, the holiday christmas season. and i'm,
5:28 am
i'm running all day long from the time i wake up to the time i go to bed, which is late. i'm continually doing something you know, busy to picking up donations, to bring out to the poor and the homeless, or i'm working in the camps dispersing up a tense or putting up a tense, bringing down heaters or whatever is needed. i how far around around 50 homeless, between uh, osha, the mom with kelly. it's. it's around 50 people. so you victoriously did on the bench outside of the library and then yeah, there was no cushion on this village at all. this was a hard bed since he was there for weeks sleeping on his bench. oh, it was horrible. so there is no show that you can go through it just now any in this county ever going to the whole community center which was there for decades in lakewood and then they made it into
5:29 am
a shelter at least at nighttime. so the homeless in the area would come down to the community center and sleep nice. seemed like about maybe 6 months. they close it down. they close down the shoulder and then they uh, the tour down the building altogether. the yeah, so we picked up from the, um, one of the drop off locations i have about 10 people that have said that it's okay to use their house as a drop off location. so there's centrally located in different areas are around here. so people from that area can go and drop things off at that house. and i go around and i, once or twice a week, i go around and i pick up at that house, then you know or give to the homeless in their camps. or i do a program twice
5:30 am
a week in the town square in lakewood, where i give out to the, the homeless and the poor. they are in lakewood. somebody here. what's the cost of living right now because of housing with inflation going up. everything is very expensive and there's just a lot of people can't afford the costs of housing and the cost of the subsidies on top of that food, clothing, and whatever. very, very difficult for a lot of people who are good god bless you for everything that you do. really the great 0. my name is marietta and i'm not the camera shot to raise the grade is great and you will have to know, you know, the cost of living going up this year, inflation and i've seen an increase and people calling me asking me for a place to stay uh, did you get chance?
