5:30 am
cost of living right now, the costs of housing with inflation going up. everything is very expensive and there's just a lot of people can't afford the costs of housing and the costs of necessities on top of that food, clothing and whatever. very, very difficult for a lot of people knew also good. god bless you. thank you for everything that you do for the really the great 0. my name is mary, i'm talking, i'm not the cameras for the great. great. and you were the don't you know, the cost of living going up this year, inflation and i've seen an increase and people calling me asking me for a place to stay. i need to get tense. i've seen an increase in that. i've seen an increase in people coming out to the town square here to see if they can get
5:31 am
something that they need. yeah, it's really wonderful how the broader community is, you know, contributing to this program here. oh, this uh, hold on. i tried to call you yesterday, i couldn't get ahold of you. yes. have no money down. really. that's yours. yours. oh, wow, good right, good to pass or we say we're having to go to the car dealing with know what the said because the little guy, let me show you what i have, what i'm about through my housing. ok, i'm fixing these out as the l. tap yeah, yeah. see the problem this will give this and the put you on the list was how was impossible to buy the house. so good, good. i'll you bet. i'm good night, a voucher over the summer and i was unable to find housing to there's no for the housing in lakewood. oh, i know the rate that we're going now. i can't in a few years. i can't imagine what's gonna happen. let me just look at the court
5:32 am
records of how many people are going through. they are being evicted last year. if you remember, they put on a 1000 vouchers just just for the heading was throughout the state of new jersey. we got 9 of those vouchers here. the problem comes in is that, i mean it's ways for them the rate that the vouchers are and that that's, that's a crime. you don't like as far as the rent is in a voucher is a way down here. it doesn't matter. so it looks like you're doing a great job, i'm putting out vouchers, but the people can't get in the houses because the vouchers going around to get there. they, this is sort of the united states of america. i renamed them to divide states of america like and unfortunately the united states is still segregated races the, the african american population was 12 percent. now it started going to sort of did those ones that were present great over 20 years later because of the government funded gentrification. you know,
5:33 am
legal government funded to get us the politicians that are allowing this and the government agencies that are allowing this and this is a major uh, deal legal, you know, it's, you know, it's a, it's a major problem in america. it's it's, it's at times and um it's going to get it's going to get worse unless the governor, you know, steps in and put a moratorium on his try raising rent. because mr. steve, right now, you know, later you're going to start dealing with the, with the families and they're coming. the, i look forward to talking to you all that technology should work for people. a robot must obey the orders given by human beings,
5:34 am
except we're so shorter that conflict with the 1st law shows alignment of the patient. we should be very careful about visual intelligence at the point, obviously is to makes a trust rather than to the various mean with artificial intelligence. we have somebody in the, in the robot most protects this phone existence with alexis, the,
5:35 am
[000:00:00;00] the people say there's givers and there's takers this, you know, pretty true. some people are just natural givers and want to give and go the extra mile. and we don't want to help and feel good about it. and there are some people that are, you know, takers that you would like to take advantage or whatever. and getting a lives a balance. you know, this makes takes all kinds of make the world go around. yeah,
5:36 am
it's going to be like me for sure. thing. it's gonna rain all night. it says a 100 percent percent, all night the winds are going to pick up. it's about 15 miles an hour now it's going to pick up to about 50 support. this is. so you really gotta get this thing ready for this new fellow coming down into the camp tonight. i called from the hospital. he's got to leave the hospital tonight and so he is name is angela. and so we're going to be picking them up in about an hour from the hospital in an order of neighboring towns. by summers zillow. did you have some of the? yes. of your stuff or something. burger j roy. oh good. yeah. all right. what's the version here? all right, thank you. are 5 there are doing like 0. you know she went to the hospital. you
5:37 am
heard right. yeah, i heard to trace alone. yeah. to her hips, so i have yeah, i haven't seen or heard from her since then. so you the, the the, the,
5:38 am
the new fellow angelo. he says that he's coat with his goals or with the 1st night it was relatively warm, but the temperature dropping and so he's getting cold. so we'll hook up our propane heater for our thing. and so they say 8 degrees to them with the windshield factor . like 10 below 0, windshield. so yeah, yeah, angela will definitely need he tonight or he'll just breeze today. i think in some ways the world is getting colder people colder towards each other. in some ways, people are more distracted with the all the distractions we have of the age these days. so, but i think as things get worse with our economy and everything, i think maybe people will start getting closer. sometimes it takes a crisis to bring people closer together because people are like, well, it's not in my backyard,
5:39 am
it's not happening to me. so they may be sometimes are short sighted and only think of themselves. if you're rich people, a lot of people will catch your but, but if you're for people, some people will stand fold for you. i think people do things sometimes only if it benefits them with something, not everybody. i mean, you're some wonderful people out there that will surprise you, you know, but there's no greater satisfaction than helping out your brother helping you out to sell them. and the harder times reveal people's true characters. sometimes i say is just like clothing, the best way to stay warm is the layer. so we layer the 10s over a couple of times with times and the really holds in the heat. nice to angelo. best . all right, so many for you. right?
5:40 am
yeah, just a lot of goodies in there. yeah, i think there might even be a gift card in there for $30.00 for awhile. why? oh, why that's the beauty of your name. here's the head for you know, all. yeah, sure. the, the other guys, this is great, you know, you really need a lot in life. yeah. it's a shame because i try to force people into this expensive box. you know, the people gotta pay all kind of money. this is iris. i mean, all of that. yeah. was making somebody, well the but is that the freedom of america? you know, well, you know, if you're really, really rich, are you really free? because you gotta watch who your friends are. you gotta watch who's going to assume you. right. exactly. you know. oh yes. yeah. the bible says, don't ask for too much and that you know, and pray for me is that you don't have to live, you know, just have enough to survive. and you know, that's the best. that's the best place to be. a man. yep. beautiful. all right. there's also a prophecy,
5:41 am
a little later on today. okay. okay. yep. okay, so yeah, this is where steve in here of been camp. they were closing this camp over here. the township was steven. we're asked for attend. i gave him a small test that they could hide back here because they've tried just came back here before and they've been kicked out of these woods so by the county is public property. steven vera weren't doing anything wrong. they're very clean and very nice. you know, was their camp, but they, they were checked out so i don't, they weren't discovered, but it looks like a tree. maybe the last storm that we had a few days ago fell on their tents and a branch hit 0. while she was in the 10th and fractured her hip. so she's in the uh,
5:42 am
in the hospital right now. yeah. i know she must be in pain and it's a shame, you know, it's terrible shame the crime that there is no shelter for them to go to, you know, is that they have to sleep out in the woods. it's kind of stuff that can happen when you sleep out in the woods. yeah, she is either tray. yes, we were sleeping name of girlfriend mirror. and 3 in the morning. treat she's way right here on her face and that way. and i think that was the trees boy came right out of the brown room. all thinking of daughter came over. oh yeah, let me tell you. yeah. not any. it came down, hit right here, here. and there's a hole right here that's pull this up and hit there when i went down and the pressure made it snap on or. yeah, that's not the point like that. here. anyways with come through with, with the well right now,
5:43 am
very well. oh really very as well. thank you to her beautiful to the other. me. that's beautiful. thank you guys. and i have cuz there's a merry christmas eve. that's what god bless you. this 1st, what is it for somebody else that's beautiful. right? that's that's nice isn't good. as you know, you're when he wants of somebody else to be less like yourself, that's middle air. see the what's left of it all away down the corner to the flowers. yes. so there was a homeless couple and it was out adam and cathy. they were staying in his old hotel here. i put them up in this hotel. it was a fire, a set of woods near where they were living. they were living in the woods and it was in spring time. and the wind was blowing ard and what's going on fire that anybody staying bags that would've been killed and that are so i put adam and kathy
5:44 am
up in this hotel for a little bit after the fire, since their stuff is all burned up. and jesse had gone out to the store and she was coming back. and some lady in a mercedes didn't see her crossing the road and hit her in, killed her. a very sad, very uh sweet trouble. uh, ad was a hard worker working almost every day to try to make ends meet, you know, try to feed them and you know, give them the basic necessities. uh, yeah, but that's, you know, it's one of the tragic situation. so the homeless, so the way most of the diet early there. hi, how are you? good. we met a long time ago. oh, here's the 20 years. i'm
5:45 am
doing good, i'm good. so good evening. my name is angelica, i'm an advocate and social worker here in ocean county. and i'm very happy to be here tonight. this is a very important thing to honor those homeless lives that have been lost over the years. very like you and jessica, it's an honor to be here to represent the homeless as low as in county. my father, we thank you again for all that that was done for us. father, we thank you for this time tonight where we have gathered together to honor the lives of those that of past in ocean county. this year, i was homeless for 2 years, beginning in the pen damage. when i was forced out my mom's house for my older cousins, i had jobs that were hard to get to. i worked for financial services company while being homes and pretty much spent $800.00 an old. there's
5:46 am
a month just to get there. they ended up helping me by my 1st car. the one i slept, i ended up losing that same job because i was falling asleep at my desk because of a lack of sleep. i was getting the clock. we're heading over to the cold though. that's something said governor prestige instituted this cold blow, which means that when the temperatures drop below a certain temperature, which is 35 people that are homeless, couldn't go into these warming centers. so right now in ocean county, we have 3 of these warming centers. so we're, we're headed over there now to yeah, i've never been inside of the one the center yet. you know, i know the people that go there, but i haven't been inside myself. so we're going to check it out. so let's check in here. ok, but you know,
5:47 am
the hey, how you doing good. how you doing this stuff to drop off is officially from already. ok. all right. doing all right, let's go here as long as you've got a warm place to sleep as a big one. okay. yeah, i don't know if i've got one with me. i'll check. okay. yes sir. okay. what would be of the squared tomorrow? i'm sure. 2 o'clock. yep. let me check if i get some blankets, you think i might have some you know, given these presence here, let me open up this and we'll give them the bags and see if we can find some blankets back here. just one more moment before. so
5:48 am
the what happens in libya and in human specifically told at least a segment of syrian people that this is not going to need to any, any weird. because we can see that there was going to be on our, in both places. so this is the police, some syrians to stand by their state and keep it
5:49 am
a filter. the one thing on the page to collaboration graphic, what is the best timing on which way the identified them? this is the purpose of it fits and complicates the victim moody news. please note our to school for carbonate for backwards by some excitement. i certainly must give me a port for new car door. the steps are, these are most of their last week old. we live gardner, so can skip by the next day or 2 to send us to just so i use the menu to one that you don't to be come loose until you come to somebody and p comes you to the thief, come i said to be the definitely not does all like supposed to be set up like you, so i'll fix it to only out of the show any media with us. that's and disclaimer, but i'm steve with industrial cleaning right now. the weather, even to posters,
5:50 am
looking at them what to do with this summer because now we will be presenting. i will shoot you a copy so much, but if you do, we have kind of crazy will. it was, it was the 1st one was a and then a bigger semester so that they should have subscriptions that i just noticed the chicago that were still at the bus stop getting those things done and proud. those were not even though you were in the middle of 11. i think it's an open some of the when it comes to social media, people in developing and emerging countries are continuing to increase their use. this is necessarily a good thing considering we now know social media companies have known about the negative effects and their platforms have on the use of today. and they've done very little. i'm scared now. he's on today's edition of 360 view. we're going to look at whether advancements and technology might cause
5:51 am
a drawbacks for the use of 3rd world countries. the . the gap in internet usage between emerging and advanced economies over recent years has narrowed. however, there are still large parts of the world we're citizens. don't have access or use of the internet. according to pure research, only $1.00 and $4.00 indians use the internet on a smartphone with selves to her africa being the least wired part of the globe. within those countries, the digital divide persist, income, education, age and some areas gender still defines who does have access to the internet, and those are most active on social media. and this is fairly a bad thing. so the internet opens up doors for education, commerce and cultural interactions for younger users. social media can have such
5:52 am
a negative effect that some parents often question whether the drawbacks outweigh the benefits disrupt his sleep, concert, distraction exposure to boys, rumors easy to spread unrealistic view of other people's lives in peer pressure, or just a few of the problems which are brought on by social media for those in their teenage years and younger. a globally among younger people between the ages of 15 and 24 years. suicide is the 2nd most common cause of death. the number of youth you choose to take their life is thoroughly increased and it's very hard to think the rise of social media is just a coincidence. therefore, are those less developed countries with limited access to the internet and social media? actually doing the next generation. a favor during me to discuss and help find the answers as well as saying mark, waiting to king video journalists and a community mental health activist. thanks for joining. yeah, we know a social media has a strong confluence and developed countries. but what about those lower middle
5:53 am
income countries? what social media platforms are available? and how much influence do they carry for leasing center, advertising, the intention. and then we have all of this or something just from that, not every other way. well, i know typically facebook twitter instagram used to main see what uh, and picked up which is great. the most popular ones i was how, what mental health impacts do they have? i've seen that more and more social media for us to do what's it's going to get to that stage so early in the line and the positive aspects, mental health issues. i've been trying to run the session with discipline by a non profits and we have to disclose the online. so for example, i know something, but it's like uh the foundation many oh, that's cool. right. so reports of people are mental health challenges. and also we
5:54 am
have a plus one, so my question is something called wasp 2 weeks ago. and so, and so you have a question. so what are the questions online? what are you writing? she simply so you can be able to, to keen and some say dumps on one on one. so successfully. i mean it is provide support with this, what kind of grades for mental health settings. i just need someone i could bring to talk to or to connect with that is a positive aspect. how and were on the negative side then and show me that has coach. it was not a praise show on the younger generation because it see people leaving fast like it's when says and the work, so it'd be like them. and so the have, these are, was really that it seems to show me that i'm the attempted to take me what's being done and that it's been a lot of fragile and sightsee at least to depression because they're not able to be taught. once you use a new test phones,
5:55 am
the ones who is leaving the service life fly on the world, but that is not possible. and so that's, that's next another event i just, i right see impression here. and of course of what i can, she's coming to the also there's a lot of science i believe online because some press is somebody since i've been targeted june like, i'm not going to keep coming after you to what is shame you when do you ever day for the 1st and the 2nd, the language i meant the scripts in person not mean to any which just wasn't sure that the people in our community sometimes that's been updated just to shop either where that was on the phone. you know us thing with your family and everyone in the form, and this goes a long way to fix the mentors of individuals because somebody being on your phone or do you have a normal conversation that you probably members have in the chart over the spring
5:56 am
and so on and so forth, it goes along with this trend family relations, she said size and the long run the girlfriend and so depressed during that, the do not in the do not spend another 40 to time with the parents or someone they love. and it's just a week and you realize i need to be in the dream world. why that person wants to come in present day. and you where, you know, i told that lies also that's left to uh, normally nice, you know, could probably come withdrawn. somebody watching desktops needs making a big on social media. i've seen people, you know, given that on the left me and the middle middle to withdraw from that. so click on the cycles. and that will be the $29.00 because the rate on as she said, they cannot be able to make the idea age and so on. i suppose until we're also there was an issue. no. so it seemed like i mentioned before,
5:57 am
social media activities, the false reality, or at least an expectation. i'm so those who seem to be cannot be able to make it work and they don't want me to light snow. so it didn't with the kind of interact with the days that kind of go out good that to class or goes to show me that being said this name and finding that even one of the, the i do want to so you have it around if you go aside, you probably know self esteem. also there's over information also something that you know keeps, keeps coming and you sometimes find yourself when sleeping felicia and so people go from the hotel to use my community to talk about it on my contract at the moment. i think one thing is just keys of he's afraid. yeah. well then that will be the other issues that come into play when we talk about mentoring here, but it wasn't aware of. and so i think that so we need to, you know,
5:58 am
improve one reason what is the problem? what's new tile? well being and what are the people face? because what we know that there are different types of been types of issues. then we can be able to address the, the better way. does this affect the young men or women more? actually i think that is the minute it was a big change in my opinion because we didn't, i didn't was to have that phrase shot to one to leave and approximately no one will decide about bullying or what i'm wondering if it's in depression and anxiety. you see their friends, i'm going fast. i meant to have that one level of depression. oh that one thing that go to like, well, enough courses for everybody, but just for me, mean that's like the minimum i'm of pre does this for the most one reason when it comes to the issues that we mentioned before. because 1st of all,
5:59 am
the women who are the ones who are looking at this. and finally i leased a good shape. it's too much, i'm going to show you and that goes my company's the way they see the into way. and some of the i called the driving because leaving the fast lane, it's a one to 2 and the end up in finding themselves interesting. better way not. this is renee for no galaxy or finding themselves, no dating the guy returning to afford these things. i'm finding themselves the seat by uh, people on the phone. so many things the like you said on. ready that's really to make a lead to called the magic bullets. this one i fits mostly the young guys, web i, as in mary o. s, it's quite my company and see i'm from from miss you a lot of money. if you contact somebody, it might be one of them, one of the one didn't want to apply for one night that one that and so many young when i would that be for these are the so let so many life,
6:00 am
no mental health issues, something for a good, a map, it's really because of these. so young man and women in different ways. but generally i would say more, we made a more vulnerable to sy lovely to big speech. and also to that more expos, i've done that it was easily gullible, the easily these things i have that is easier to set up or show me there. at the end of it, did they find themselves in the meantime, their prizes? do you find the parents and governments trying to react to this problem? let's say an advocate for example. yeah, in my country right now i'm the government, the government is expecting a lot of options to use. 2020 window is colby and see if there was like this influx of the information on the we definitely everybody was home. there was a government community that came from the east europe or something from education.
