it still doesn't explain why molly is off for the withdrawal of field trips goal setting to situate this situation. you will not stop the fight scene between the uh, do you, how do you see i'm a 1000000 so that's what's happening in my so for the mean for the populations you want, he's almost a big part of the problem because they never responded. wind is on a type of plans when they get some targeted by you. how do you improve this? you never do. it's just still when the problem is happened. that's you can see us coming and to a point to make a report of probably 2 people with uh, fluids, all 80 kind of for these guys. any kind of situation was any of the commendations or whatever. and that was the predictions. what expect to you from the you when? so say you got the smile, all of the i don't truth as, as the money now i was thinking we can foresee that the main thing is i the situation of jesus to bring. but guess do you think it's very, it's not real. it's all to get, i mean it's, they work

a lot. they were we can just do this uh this got to to, to do money for it. so not so the not so the union forces the appraisals, leasing money and government seem to be assigned for many spots to go. i think they know what they doing because they are, they want to invite him to use it in the budget. so which media and reduce the receive by himself. the full people are being killed. the another full wounded and an exchange of gunfire near and is really a settlement in the west bank. so this comes, i made an escalation in violence between is really the added cost in forces in the region. is there any movie says that a savings opened fire as a potential station on a highway near the settlements of a lead shot. one of them was before the chills i made his way. authorities are currently searching for a 2nd suspect. does that go? so i'm sure. let's discuss this further now and go live and see rafael flush

a space person for the is really medical service organization united. so rafael, thanks for joining us now. how much is said so that the shooting was a response to the is ready rate on the passing camp in the west bank? what are your thoughts about that? or any loss of life is, is really quite tragic. i the that's all idea of, of responding not responding political issues. it's not relevant. the government came out and killed 8 people in cold blood. and that's something which, which is always trying to our volunteers are 1st responders from all backgrounds and all nationalities here. and israel responds to the incident, created the injured, perform cpr and some of those who were unfortunately made or pronounce that at the scene and succeeded saving the lives of at least one of the seriously injured. and there were for others for motto,
5:33 pm
the injured and numerous other word shocked or psychological distress. we treated them as a seen as well before they were transported off the hospital. um we helped for them for these uh yeah, any, any type of violence or tax were, were people's lives are at stake. and as a pressure sensor in relation to or do you need to try and treat everyone equally this week and, and i something we did again or something i'm doing the always a very affordable think after sponsor these types of the thing seems a little bit more about your organization, but i believe it's made up with some volunteer medical. um, so this provides is that right? the right, the united i saw the completely volunteer organization. we have 6500 volunteers around the country, spread out uh from all the way. nice to have all the way in the north. uh and we provide treatment for free. um where it says windows and the corner is an emergency . we got the alerts, we alerts, a 5 medical responders through our dispatch system. um and they,
5:34 pm
me delete, drop, whatever they're doing in response to a medical emergency of hands. uh, that's what happened today as well. we have people who are driving on the highway on the way to home. if you think i prefer the after 4 o'clock in the afternoon, uh, somewhere on the way home, somewhere on the way to the other dispenser or even work. the issues in the nearby responded is the good to try and stabilize those were injured. yeah. and data assess, well, good job, really. so, you know, we've heard of this, the struggle between the 2 sides of being a own fit for decades. really, this doesn't seem to be any of slowing down and so we have volunteers like yourself uh helping the what people in need. but oh, there any other fun aids or any other phone governments getting involved in
5:35 pm
perhaps solving this situation as well. uh, i can talk about that uh some interest is uh, i'm not familiar with those. uh uh, things um, like as an organization, is it something it provides treatment in care of for anybody who was injured, who were in the area and that we can respond to. and i think that the, one of the amazing things that the organization does other organizations in israel, through how to as well as bring people together from different walks of life. and through that of the, you know, jewish christian muslim, everybody working together to try and say go ahead, which isn't f, o says supersedes everything, eating and religion, all religions value life. and that's something which we all have in common. we all share to be connected with enough commonalities, and hopefully we want the cvs incidents take place again. right. raphael prospect for us over united. uh so this. uh, thank you so much. you're welcome. good luck. we'll speak again. send that out.
5:36 pm
thanks. thank you so much. now, despite the escalating tires of seeing palestine and israel, the says in settlements where the 2 nations all working in harmony onto the middle east correspondence, maria phenomena pulls on location. this is rarely, communities truly unique. a village where is rarely jews and arabs around $100.00 families linked together in harmony and peace, that they can hardly find outside all the time. we just read about wars and hates and, and wars and killing and violence. us. and i think we have to put an end for these actions. that's why we have to be an example. and to learn from our own experience and how to bring this disparity to others. the village was founded in 19 seventies, based on acceptance and equality of dues,
5:37 pm
and arabs to form over 20 percent of reserves population and complain about unfair laws and discrimination from the states. the mayor says the village itself, unlike for example, is rarely supplements jewish only communities faces this injustice. when its population grew and there appeared a need to expand with people from across east. real. also willing to move in, locals officially requested extra heck, there is to build new residential areas from these really land administration. not only the request was rejected, soon after the state started at legal battle to plane part of the village. you know, we are not the quite a citizens and is van and land the issue and housing is another issue here where you can see the quality here. if you are not joyce, you can't buy states. it's not by, it's the east. you can even lease if they've done city toys in his rarely arab. the

mayor is of a village rotate with jewish residents, share her concerns and frustration like sante. he says he feels pain to see israel . the states predominantly made of jewish people who previously suffered a lot from race based hatred, like any quality into the. now there's the idea that when we have now the state towards this state tool will be used in or the to the discriminate model north. these non choose follow students for me. it's a, uh for me that's some biggest failure. it, it's, it, you can have, we come to the village when is really government prepared to approve the construction of 4500 new units in the door settlements across the occupied west bank. this controversial move was condemned internationally, including by the us. israel's crucial ally,
5:39 pm
criticism also came from we think from somebody's railing dues, including ones who leave in this village. these really do, i'm, i'm, i'm, i'm, i'm a single foot on what you're doing there with the bank and gaza, obviously. and for us is, is the opposite of what we're doing here for us. it's the, the, the other way around. it's not your society kind of so far side locals believe education is key to success of changing the approach and eventually ending the decades long conflicts. local kids learn arabic and a hebrew, and also discover each other's history and mentality. and rare example of peaceful coexistence. the village house various conferences at one such event that took place when we arrived. the kids shows a little presentation promoting piece or salon anatomy the on the ceiling. we still ventilation pipes decorated in the colors of these really in palestinian flags symbolically merged places of

peace, national and hebrew. well had a settlement at a bookcase, one of a kind, the phone or is in residence of this village would love to see the principals. they base, they community own, applied to the entire state of israel, but it was, the governments dragging the country in the opposite direction. these idea remains just them a raj, raising motion on how to you from never shut on how to set up the scandal brewing and the to next is some of the games in paris. police, a ranges the headquarters of the old, an icing committee amended investigation. and legit, nepotism, i'm embezzlement of public funds. oh, so you contribute to rachel mazda and brings us more on the so as we are aware that there has been a search by fall is of the various 2024 headquarters. today, we have been informed by parents 2024. they are corporate and fully with the authorities on this matter. and we would refer you to them for further information
5:41 pm
. that's interesting. we have a statement there from the international olympic committee. they must be wondering what is going on and who's in charge, because as it turns out, just to begin with the head of that french organizing committee and the sheets of each other. so she resigned just last month, kind of out of the blue and nobody really knows why there is talk of some insight in smuggling, but then it was kind of hushed up. so already there was a bit of a sign of trouble, but these raises that took place on tuesday by the front end to corruption. police in paris, took place in 2 different locations. one was on the, in the french olympic committee headquarters. previously the been committee and that was an investigation that was launched in 2017. remember that france won the bid in september of 2017 at an i o c meeting and through and some other countries that were bidding for the games dropped out. so i was kind of interesting,
5:42 pm
i'm the 2nd entity that that was rated was the entity in charge of construction sites at the games. so that investigation was launched in 2022. so just last year. so there's 2 separate issues and investigations here. now the prosecutor said that the investigations relate to quote, illegal conflict of interest, misuse of public funds and favoritism. and apparently the french and the corruption agency was chipped off. now they take public tips so anybody can take them off, could be a competitor. it could be somebody who actually knew something, who knows, but they tipped off the financial prosecutor's office about some of some deals, allegedly involving some consultancy contracts. so that's what we're hearing in the front of process. now, just to give you a little bit of context here, fresh world of sports has kind of been embroiled in quite a few scandals. recently, the french rugby federation president and former secretary of state for sports
5:43 pm
under former friends president equal south kazi devin alpha. he was convicted of corruption and influence peddling. last december, he resigned in january from his presidency. and that was related to a sponsorship contracts for the national teams of jersey that was awarded to a pallet his worth a few 1000000 euro self was he himself is also now involved in a corruption scandal that the french passengers are investigating, involving dodgy campaign, financing, and potential misuse of public funds in libya and we all know what happens in libya led by the french itself was these prime minister pulse which known was also convicted of misusing public funds for from hiring his own wife as his assistant. maybe all these folks can square off in a brand new events at the olympics, may be corruption of that, of some kinds of french actually got a chance to recommend some new events and they chose breakdancing but pay maybe they should reconsider and, and maybe choose a corruption as a,
5:44 pm
as an olympic event because it looks like they are well underway. the other issue is the olympics themselves have been kind of under fire by the french themselves because there's, there's, let's just say there's been some turbulence already. there's a lot of controversy over the fact that the french are well ahead of the you and introducing artificial intelligence driven video surveillance. so big brother is also going to be attending these games. he might be one of the few attending the games because the ticket prices are just so astronomical. now the french people were sold, citizens of france were sold on the idea of the games and supporting the games. partly by virtue of the fact that the government promised that there would be cheap tickets for french people. in other words, you know, for the price of a meal, oh, you can attend the big event. well, nobody's really seen much evidence of that was taken to the organizers say, well, they weren't really quickly. you wouldn't have noticed because there weren't too many of them. so people kind of feel cheated, but there's also another kind of scandal brain because you know that there's been
5:45 pm
a lot of protests and friends recently and unrest involving tensions themes and rolling back pension benefits and making people retire earlier, etc. well, a lot of volunteers are now starting kind of a grassroots campaign to let's all volunteer for the olympics. and the last minute drop out that was a french volunteers and they're, they're doing not just try to sabotage the olympics. and there's also a kind of the controversy around the security the olympics we saw when france hosted a big football match last year that it was just an absolute disaster. we had people climbing the front fence, locals climbing the fence at the same one of the same values of the olympics is going to be using for for football. and at the time french authority said, oh, well, those crazy british bands came over here and that's their fault. and we realized after investigation that wasn't the case. so there's also during, during co vid, when everyone was on lock down, french authorities organizers developing came up with this idea that, well, instead of having everyone in close stadium close together while we just have an

open air opening ceremony, which of course, now that cove is in the rear view mirror, create some security trust. perfect. so it's, i guess shaping up to be a bit of a challenge, but never boring. now so busy where so team people have died and thousands of in his face off of powerful sites of stuck southern brazil on sunday flights of being canceled and some cities remain without electricity. as the governor of the state side of the psych loan is closing, flooding lands and flies and for the cities, a comes off of a zillow has faced a series of catastrophes in recent years. i guess what say this may be the result of. 1 change and rising temperatures on the crate will become a new financial risk citizen of a that was originally intended for africa. but if all goes according to a plan,

concept is the un says is on tracks to reach a record high. the position of the government in the end is, is a disgrace. say it is a classical case of classic diplomacy way. it's and blake, me. i used a to achieve set in positions, meaning that the position of that country is take on the show and may not necessarily be informed by a nation. i was thinking of independence decision. but to me being pulled up on me and to as applicants, you know, coming in the heels of me, it should be cheaper, went off the opportunity that she went to crate in poland immediately of course, only days the view that part of the country is that the airlines to america is not a good fly for sense, and can only obtain the positions by boy to look into east to the candles and to

the a few of us. so the last, the. com and you look at the position of russia and china. if you started the fleet got, it becomes nature on a that definitely tends to be more inclined to look. it was these 2 countries in the west side is actually made an announcement to administer the rules that states and russia is going to assist us with fits to a set themselves into course on the the, the independence and test automation. so this kind of behavior by seamless and even by poland and the rest of them can fully push the oxygen countries as much faster. a towards russia in china, a file facile for me today. my colleagues will, the associate will be with you with this one with out. i'm not home. i wish you all a to reflect tuesday. the buying and ministration is coming. mexican border crossings are down by almost

50 percent following the expiration of title 42. i'm sorry now here's an on this edition of 360 view. we're going to look at the reality of what is going on at the southern border and where the continued debate regarding the united states border is having an effect on other countries foreign policy. let's get started. the hours before a ton of $42.00 ended, $2500.00 migrants can be seen at living on the streets in the border town of el paso, texas no garbage and feces, filling alleyways in line industries have turned this town of 800000 into a slum or national correspond it rocks on a solano spoke with a group of immigrants who entered the country illegally and were turning themselves over to border patrol about why they chose to come roxanna to scotty. this is
5:51 pm
a very different picture. then what was paying that for a group of young men who came from venezuela? they were told in their home country coming to america meant getting set up for life. most congress, great around the sacred heart church, where american crowds of blankets can be seen, stuck up everywhere. next to piles of trash make safety shelters lining the fence of the church. a truck comes to handouts for 3 times and the police set up a post to prevent the fight from breaking out as a full truck hand south max of sandwich and water bottles. 3 blocks from the sacred heart church is a border patrol station. you can see the border highway border will are just a few feet away noon, a backdrop to the station. over a 100 amy grounds who answered legally are standing in line, ready and willing to be processed by border patrol to use a biden. c. c fees,
5:52 pm
as we walk the line, it was mostly young main in their twenty's. only a handful where women or children may have left family and friends in their home in their country saying they want to get a job and send money back. the one told us there is no hope for this mother to join him, but she encouraged him to make the trip to america to raise him. but when ask why they didn't just stay in mexico, the entire group erupt. it was the only one who came from honduras said it's ok 50 base to walk to the united states and it cost him $300.00 to $350.00 to get a guy to bring him to america. many sold the injuries received from climbing over
5:53 pm
the yeah, but most we're giving these manila envelope signaling hope. i see it has the papers . they need to stay all there is were pacing of white band and send back to mexico . but even those who say are sent to cities who are not prepared for them, sleep reading, police patients in chicago for example. the streets of new york was done for a cities are no begging for the influx of immigrants to stop. not the american dream, they were promise. i'm broke center solano, for 360 view. we now want to bring in our expert panel to discuss the end of a title, $42.00 and migration across the globe. we have professor adrian pine, a visiting professor and department of anthropology and social change at the california institute of integral studies. and gabrielle yacht is a cuban immigrant and the executive director at the ready for ron political action
5:54 pm
committee. thank you for joining me both. thanks for having in a last our health care united states, the secretary of homeland security released a message tying to migrant do not come illegally into the united states. people who arrive at the border without using a lawful pathway will be presumed ineligible for asylum. do not believe the lies of smugglers. people who do not use available legal pathways to enter the us now face tougher consequences. he said, people who arrive at the border without using a lawful pathway will be presumed and eligible for asylum. do not believe the lies of smugglers. the border is not open. people who do not use available lawful pathways to enter the us. now face of the tougher consequences. meanwhile, vice president cala harris, who has been adult, the boarders are, is nowhere to be found or pressed. secretary was asked about this,
5:55 pm
this was her response. where are they in terms of communicating with people who are trying to hearing from a secretary. myrick is, is a powerful messenger. he was at the border. where are they in terms of communicating with the people who are trying to come in? i think care from secretary, my arcus is a powerful message. he was at the border. so i'm going to start off with you professor. uh, let's say professor pine. do you think the bite in ministration is currently handling the situation at the border properly, as well? the buying administration has implemented as what effectively amounts to as an asylum band, which in many ways is harsher then trump your policies. and that's why we're seeing right now. you know, we didn't see the rush to the border that everybody expected with the end of title 42 instead of what the bible ministration is doing on through it's quote unquote, circumvention of lawful pathways is preventing people from exercising their
5:56 pm
international right under, under international asylum often seeking asylum. what's interesting, gabriel, do you actually believe the body ministration? when they say there are less crossings at the border now with all of the restrictions type of 40 to put into place being lifted? of course, it's not just one. i think it's what we're seeing every day. we're seeing thousands of migrants lining up at the border, 4 year old girl uh, throwing over a border wall by and by these coyotes, l alternately, whether it's happening or not, people are not believing it down in south america. they're so coming into, into our, our southern border, they think it pours in, quite frankly, as forest. and that's what we're in the situation that we're in. well, and that's what i wanna ask you about professor prime. because do you think other countries should be doing more even including mexico, to stop these migrants at their southern border? and why are they not? why are they allowing them to pass through? why not try to actually keep them within your own country? if you, if you want to be of help as well. um, you know,
5:57 pm
there's 2 issues here. one is if we're just talking about people who are economic, my friends, but for the people who are asylum seekers, and they have an international right to seek refuge in a place that is going to in the country where they feel like they're going to be say, so, um, you know, and mexico is not responsible for the reasons why most people are seeking refuge. if we really look to the underlying structural reasons why most people come to the us border. it's because of us foreign policy. it's because of the worst that we have that we have sponsored in other countries because we have sponsored in other countries, especially talking about latin america or the economic warfare. and that's in the form of sanctions. so really, um, you know, if we're talking about mexico, is there anything mexico needs to do a better job of protecting the human rights of migrants. we see tremendous corruption and in the mexican immigration system, and you know, that's with
5:58 pm
a fire we saw, you know, just a few weeks ago, i think into that or a month or 2 ago into the products that killed so many, my friends from guatemala. we're seeing that mexico is not really doing what it needs to do to protect these people who are seeking asylum or people who are migrating for economic reasons. that's perhaps another question. but many of the people who are coming to our board or are, is actually going asylum because they are victims of conditions that are caused by us for our policy was the industry. and gabriel, actually, when i ask you that, because professor brown pine brings up an excellent point, talking about that, a lot of these folks are being displaced because of safety reasons taking yourself because of american foreign policy interventions that we're doing in countries specifically latin america. but others around the world that we're finding, do you think there should be more accountability and americans are going guess what? we causes problems. so therefore, why are you complaining about having to deal with it? yeah, certainly there's plenty of people have,
5:59 pm
might have valley reasons coming into the united states and, and who really might have a reason to fear for the lives. unfortunately, we're just not capable of processing all these people. we don't have enough resources. you don't have an affordable stroke, we don't have, and that's what i did you just as far as the judicial system, the process, all these people, it's incredibly difficult. actually. we do these folks and find out who has a, a viable claim and who does it? you know, down here in south florida, we see a lot of people coming in from latin america, even though the border now is getting a sort filled with people from all over the world. not just from south and central america. we have all these folks down here in south florida and, and none of these people believe it and all these folks are coming through cleaning asylum. how about that kind of asylum? we, we, we know people anecdotally, we've seen people who but we've come here from venezuela escaping their, their assailants. people who buy their kidnapped them or, or their families or, or, and 11 case, great them, they walk into an elevator who are here in,
6:00 pm
in south florida who walks in, their a silent and do you find out how to use your will to through some bogus claims that we just simply don't have the resources. and i think that's a very good point that is that you have to make there, but i'm gonna stick with you on this gabriel. because sure. do you think kind of 40 to have been made actually permanent? because considering it was all of the other diseases and viruses which are not immunize again. so many of these countries, these migrants are coming from. and this was a title put into place to for did to prevent future spread of disease. you know, and i'll tell you why, because i think it, i think it was a bad it, this is a failure of the federal government in dividing them restriction to solve a serious issue. type of 42 was always going to pay down to expire at some point or another. whether you keep the count that down the road another 6 months, we need to fix this issue. yes. since the humidity already an issue. yes, it's an economic issue for, for of people make that case with the problem. the problem lies with the federal government and no matter what happens and it was title 42. now.
