the far right, the national government will stream our nation's international reputation for generations to come. the fact that the president, by the means that he did not even ask for a ceasefire, and there was in conversation with it on there who speaks volumes about the administration's heartless and immoral approach to the genocide and gather. meanwhile, father knowles b is really on full, says have left blissful, bought destruction, no corresponding must, with somebody has moved from a place now considered uninhabitable. beneficial but you hear from the people here project in northern garza, we managed to reach this area after these really occupation forces we drew the level of destruction is indescribable. the armies using a new strategy that involves destroying houses. this is the market street is really forces rick and demolish this house is not to mention the, all the air escaped by the doesn't so can seem very bombs and fierce air strikes. the widespread destruction is evident in the face. and unfortunately,
4:05 am
all the houses in this area have been either bombed or completely destroyed. we must unfortunately rebuild all of this area. do arabs approve of what is happening today in this region? almost every house now has bodies beneath it. and people we haven't been able to rescue yet, remain trapped on to the rubble. do people see the tragedy and folding and the gas to do they see the state into which the people of guys that have descended the surface of the situation. you see before your eyes, we cannot describe the destruction as comprehensive destroying everything. houses, people, trees, and animals. no one has survived. unfortunately, almost all of the world sees what is happening in gaza without intervening in the matter. no one has been able to stop the war. it's not even a war anymore. it's just a slaughter. this is conflict and it's of this form. unfortunately, the region has been destroyed. the region no longer even exists, as it did before. only ruins remain. i cannot describe what i see and i cannot
4:06 am
convey how i feel. until today, we have been unable to save people and help them. unfortunately, the situation is catastrophic, very catastrophic. let me get the book, i mean, nothing remains of the memories and the buildings and the streets reduced to these images. this has nothing to buy in north and gaza. well, let's look to see what's happening in the south. sophia enclave specifically in the city of hong eunice, where a recent idea of strike kit, a residential block, resulting in multiple casualties. just to warn you that is some disturbing footage at the the children in short can covet, didn't lodge all taken to the mass of magical complex, local forties report that i have 20000 palestinians have been killed since the war opted into october local john, this brings us this report from hong unit,

diesel drop off, i looked at this 3. so can you what is that also down the streets of the printer, you will see thousands and thousands of people walking in the street. some of them are not able to stay in a tent or sleep, they make their children and stay in defense. they make the woman stay in the defense and they end up sleeping in the street. people that have a general sense of loss of addiction at o. m and a date and they understand that it's a matter of time for them did. one of them is entered focus, new the adoption board, and the city of ross, i. local hospitals are treating palestinian detainees who have been reduced by the idea they were arrested by it's very forces in rates and spend felt 30 days in custody. we had from some of them i know and basically like, it's like a level sitting with my family, my daughters and my daughters know when suddenly easily tends and a bolt those i hid the house out of it fell on us, raise their hands and the jews entered into the soul. they asked us to take off our

clothes. we wouldn't make it, they tied our hands behind a box, go down, rise and took us to the forms. they beat us with sticks, kicked us with their feet. how do i go there? we spent 30 days in prison where we were again beaten, even a female soldiers, 2 quarts and assaulted us. there was no dignity, and we were insulted. a lot. a female soldier even beat a 72 year old man. i feel like my back is totally broken as our my shoulders, as well as my legs. a nice our eyes were covered and we were tortured. we slipped and woke up with our hands in handcuffs as a result of the inter, addition and insults everyone his age terribly well since the beginning of its ground operation and called so the idea has failed to disclose how many people it has detained or indeed on what legal grounds,

israel has allegedly admitted earlier that only about 10 to 15 percent of those held were in any way linked to the medicine group. how much on the eve of christ, bob says, ready? prime minister benjamin netanyahu offered equipment science to questions around the world. for the support of his nations was the dog christian friends around the world. merry christmas christmas was supposed to be a time of goodwill to all men and peace on earth. while we don't have peace on earth, not on our part anyway. and we certainly don't see goodwill to all men were facing monsters. i want to thank you for your support. i want to thank you for your prayers. while at the same time, as he assured that some of the message and the tip of tea, seeing featuring baby jesus lying and rustle watson failed to charge and back to him. here's what a local posts that have to say about the conflict. we are tormented by the silence of the world,
4:11 am
the depths of the full cole tree lined up one after the other to give the green light for this genocide against a captive population. and yet another layer has been added the theological cover with the wes them to stepping into the spotlight hid in palestine . the bible is what then eyes against our very own sacred sex. somebody who will be in front of us. i never, ever want to hear you like shut off on human rights or the international law again that, i mean this we have not like, i guess it does not apply to us according to your own logic. well, to delve into this a bit further, let's close life now to a from pon africanist mendoza, joining us from zimbabwe. but thank you very much for taking the time today. i was
4:12 am
thing i want to ask you, you know, i remember when the whoo, in ukraine broke out the initial reaction from a lot of west and media was hora. and a few times people said yeah, but these are the loan and people with blue eyes who are i will now it's just wrong. that same west and major is not saying the same thing obviously about the palestinians. so i do want to talk is that we're racial under tone to this was the pasta right. what you think august august i think the the, the vision of the killing, the genocide in, in qualified by the band that has exposed the contrasting responses. the on the one that to the ukraine with the, with the load was, was outraged. and the,
4:13 am
the genocide in front of the thing about which the width is quiet or mute. oh, improvement. or the bigger not to mention the feature, but they do it in the, in the concept. so yes, today, so at least you know, the racial and cultural and historical i do want to ask you to want to start what i mean. the west obviously has of a long history of colonialism and a kind of underlying constant. and i've replaced that it has engaged in very lucky practices, is that those nations have people who don't look like that. i'm out of some point. does it don't being a statistical coincidence and does have in fact become a stand it was with it's done that is that in that you thought it could be the, the, the jewish question is it'd be that they call it. it would be,
4:14 am
instead of being the collision, the creation of it would be a problem. s s, the creation of the public unit of the really states. you could have been the problem, you know. and then what, what they're doing now is precisely a continuation of what they've done under pulling and do to, to that see what we have in the, in the, for the send me the quality of listing for data for that. let's see what happens over the last 2 weeks. it's helped both, both the, the know the middle of with the money to the lives of christian morality. not to mention the extent to which the this christmas in particular with its phones, the furnace or the christian religion itself. i did say what you told me about christmas. i mean obviously there were no passivity is taking place
4:15 am
in best. they have a very simple pace for christianity. i mean many weston churches have called the peace hops, most enough, but they thought you done very little to actually facilitate to it. so my question to you is, is this a case of thought to signaling or is it know that these charges on this down but they have no power to stop and much law just force and play? no, it is the case. so we see this tab raising, see that's from the diction within the 2 of us the you see, i'll put you on to just look for the mention of the fact that by the bible has always been at a use it for the colonial enterprise. so there's nothing new in this case, but what i'm saying that is super simple to or choose not the method goods. and on the books of uh, on the date,
4:16 am
on the day when the people at the wants of the sets of jesus christ. he said it's a queen, it's only going to make it's really to the to the, to the with was the kitchen. was that at the method that that happening in the same such a a very point and, and very tragic and renee, we do really appreciate you coming on the program discuss it will with us. that was all. so i'm just, i'm panicked for goodness at the montage. thanks for it. but thank you. the shelling had on a daily basis, has watson official at the united nations in twin, falls in less than and says that she deals with she part of the peacekeeping operation on the as waiting for to an all to had a chance to speak with hi and this extended into the nfl is a peacekeeping mission. we've been present himself lebanon since 1978 in 2006 after the war between israel and it has the law. our mandate was confirmed and extended
4:17 am
with resolution $1701.00, which is the core of the mandate that our peacekeepers now implement and resolution 17 o one obligates us to monitor this. the cessation of hostilities here in south lebanon, and to support and work with the lebanese armed forces were deployed here in that, in the south of lebanon. when unit 4 was 1st established in 1978. it was in the wake of these really invasion of 11 on following attacks launched by palestinian groups and israel. so israel invaded 11 and protested to the security council and the security council established unit failed to come and to restore peace and security here in the region. and so obviously that, that occupation remain for some time and you wrote the eighty's and ninety's means really military was present here until the withdrawal in 2000. and in 2006,
4:18 am
we had the war between hezbollah and israel, and the establishment for the adoption of resolution. $17.00 oh, $1.00 which expanded on the mandate that we had in 1978, which is based on maintaining international peace and security, but gave you and i felt additional tasks in terms of monitoring the cessation of hostilities between is real and has the law working with and supporting the lebanese armed forces and at the time helping to ensure access for humanitarian actors and the safe return of the population that has been displaced in the 20064 i we've been here for a long time, but there is a, it doesn't mean that people know exactly what we do, people don't read the security council resolutions. we do, we live it, we work it every day. so you know, we know our role. we know that the limitations of our role of, and of our mandate. um, you know, there may be some expectations, for example, in terms of the situation now and our humanitarian. well, we're peacekeepers. we're not humanitarians. part of our mandate is to facilitate
4:19 am
access to humanitarian workers. you know, the red cross or other, you and agencies that are providing aid. but we, as peacekeepers we, we don't view humanitarian work, although we do things to support communities when they need. because again, these are the communities that we live in, work in. and we have been living and working in for 45 years or peacekeepers under say projects to support and to support their local communities. but we do not provide humanitarian assistance in that sense. so the reason that you feel is here and part of the core of resolution, 17 o one is because it was known after 2006. there were weapons and armed elements that were present in the south. and part of unit those mandate is to support the lebanese armed forces and ensuring that the area south of the tiny river up to the blue line is free of these armed forces and elements. we always, you know, we've never said that this has happened. this is why the resolution was being implemented. this is why we're here. we haven't accomplished that yet. in terms of
4:20 am
the relationship with the lebanese army, we work very closely with the lebanese army to implement all of our tests under resolution. 1701. it's actually part of the mandate to work with them to support them, to coordinate with them and everything that we do because part of the ultimate goal of resolution, $17.00 and $1.00 is to hand our security responsibilities and back to them. so they can take over and you know, that would be the mission would go home at that point. that would be the ultimate success of resolution $17.00 and $1.00 for that to happen. we use those unique role is that we are the only for last year that talks to both the lebanese army and the is really army. and so we have a very robust liaison and coordination mechanisms that go through all levels of our peacekeeping mission from the leadership down. and we speak to military officers on both sides of the blue line to resolve different issues that may occur and try to reduce tensions. try to encourage each aside to stop the fire that is coming from
4:21 am
their side. just, you know, to stop the escalation that may be taking place. and we have a mandate to monitor the cessation of hostilities and our peacekeepers are deployed along the blue line. to do that, we have different mechanisms to observe. you know, often it's just a visual. we hear things, we detach things on radar. for example, all of this gets reported to the security council. it goes from the secretary general's report that comes out 4 times a year. everything that we observe and monitor is recorded there. obviously with the current situation is getting much more difficult to have is comprehensive of monitoring, as we've had before. given the fact that some of our positions, especially the ones right on the blue line, are sometimes caught in the fire. there can be active exchanges of showing nearby and over the positions which puts peacekeepers in danger. and so obviously we have a concern in making sure the peacekeepers are safe. we have safety protocols that in some cases, if it's not as dangerous peacekeepers will be limited to the camps,
4:22 am
which of course stops their patrolling and monitoring activities. that means they can't go out and see what's happening on the blue line and harsher scenarios when the change in the exchange of the fire and much more dangerous. in fact, peacekeepers will go into the shelters and that really limits what we're able to do . fortunately, those periods don't last too long. sometimes they do though, sometimes the peacekeepers may be there for several hours and that does limit their ability to monitor. they may still be hearing things and reporting it, but it does, it does limit the ability to create that kind of record. although we've never said that we are for heads of monitors. we don't have the capacity 247 to watch in here and record everything, but we do try to monitor as much as possible. and that creates a kind of records that, as i said, goes to the security council and it, we can see trends in the way that things develop in, in terms of the cessation of hostilities and the violations of resolution, 17 o one. so the blue line is uh,
4:23 am
the line of withdrawal between 11 on and israel, if the line that we monitor and so line of withdrawal essentially means that the parties have withdrawn from the line. they're not supposed to cross it. so it's a violation of resolution. 17, a one, if someone from one side crosses to the other. the blue line extends a 120 kilometers between 11 on and lebanese and is really territory. and we have at the moment about 10000 military peacekeepers and 800 civilian peacekeepers are, who are here in south lebanon at our headquarters and about 50 you in positions that we have in south lebanon. the blue line extends between 11 east territory and is really territory. there are 13 areas where the lebanese authorities have said they disagree with where the line has been withdrawn, and the in their belief be, is very laser occupying those territories. at the moment it's obviously quite tense. the situation has been escalating since october 7th. it
4:24 am
hasn't gotten to the point of an open all out more, which is what we are working here as peacekeepers to try to avoid. but the sentiment here is quite tense. we here showing on a daily basis even from here in the core, are peacekeepers are deployed along the blue line. are seeing and hearing exchanges of fire every day. you know, there have been a number of civilians in the towns on both sides of the blue line who have obviously left for their safety. and so the situation is tense and you know, and it's quite dangerous in fact. but this is some things that we are working as peacekeepers to try to find a solution to bring the parties to a place where they can find a political and diplomatic solution to this. soon as october 7th, we've seen a gradual and in some days it depends day today there can be, you know,
4:25 am
we have days that are quieter and then we have days that obviously there is more happening in terms of air strikes, showing in cross border exchanges and the goal is a conflict is obviously important con contacts for what's happening here. either the exchange of fire and 11 on started the day after the october 7th gas, a conflict began. and so that is important contacts that we operate within. but of course, the situation along this line were subject resolution, 17 o one. it's a very different situation here. unfortunately, the exchange the firewall, they have intensified, have maintained. in general, they've been generally controlled and happen within a very close $5.00 to $6.00, columbia range within the blue line for peacekeepers. so by nature, we're optimist. we do think that there is an end in sight. we do think that eventually
4:26 am
there will be a political and diplomatic solution to this overall crisis, but hope to this overall conflict, but hopefully to this immediate crisis that we're facing as well. we do think that there is, there is a possibility this will happen. and this is why our peacekeepers are continuing their work, you know, under these very difficult circumstances on the blue line, under these exchanges of fire, working with the communities, working with the lebanese armed forces. because we do believe that it is possible and we won't, we don't give up hope we're not going to a band. and we've been here for 45 years and we will be able to stay as long as it takes. and finally, the russian foreign ministry has slammed west of nations to be over night and rest can stop. yeah. saying that the power allows with the 2014 q and ukraine up to the attempts of the collective west to shake off the situation. and serbia, using the techniques of a made on crew were obvious what thousands of demonstrate just hit the streets on sunday evening, protesting the victory of the ruling party combination and recent parliamentary

elections. since the opposition has been making accusations over elections for wharton, i'm to government force or even quoting for an enrollment of the results. the well, it's not just the server side, the sub you move forward, he's themselves humble. so tune the comparison with the tails from the st. solved kids back in 2014. the 1st thing, all right,
4:28 am
that's to infiltrate the state institution in this way and try to reach any goal. proves that what i said 5 days ago was not my whim or to attempt to political marketing. if we allow ourselves to fight for political goals with violence and tearing down the state very soon, we will not have a state. now you see how true the term modernization is. well, just a few days ago, following the elections besides the and p. m. warm to the opposition forces on and chose well watching behind the scenes trying to stabilize the country. now one of those mentioned was c r t a, all the sudden tough to reset transparency and accountability to be an entry are found in 2002, it subsides, monitor the recent elections and look at its website. you can see that will show that it's partners and patrons, among others, all the rockefeller brought the fund usaid as well as the british and german embassies. there we spent spoke to set up an american john this the boy shot not

actually he is of the view that the west of infiltrate to the opposition has influence over there is active as the storm to fall. grades that he who a lot of the people who are involved in these protests or professional activities at all. these western organizations that essentially have a bought and paid for come out of civil activist, serbia who again don't have drops and they pretends to be the representative to, to representatives of the working class who, who are trying to you know, deliver democracy. and it's absurd on its face. i mean if they had some sort of respect for the electric fort for the actual working people for the actual citizens, i would understand. but they go around all of these, went pro western media outlets insulting everybody and then say, oh, we're entitled to because here the democratic democrats believe in democracy. these parties, these activists have spent the past week insulting the serbian public into serbian people. it's certainly not democracy. the whole concept here is that this is
4:30 am
a call from within pre being presented as a legitimate genuine popular revolution. and the whole thing has been scripted up again by american activist funded and organized for the national endowment for democracy of its branches and various and yellows. and this is, this recipe was used to build grades in 2000 in georgia. 2003. you have in 2004 and again and 20132014, which escalate done. and many other places, including throughout the middle eastern europe, all the 20 less. and as people have gotten wiser to it, it's gotten less and less effective, but that hasn't stopped people to try it again. and again. while that is good bye from the studio here in most codes this uh we all had to go over to should were tons tape on subbing underground. he told that should be when the coming 2nd called home with professor richard the sidewalk. enjoy the
