10:00 pm
the the rick sanchez here. this is direct impact and this is the sound of what we're going to be talking about. the, what you're just hearing there is um, metal scraping against metal. what you saw as a chinese coast guard ramming the philippine coast guard, or was it the other way around? we're going to try and figure this out. it's an international squabble. let's see. i'm rick sanchez. let's do this. the . i'm going to begin today by showing you this uh scrimmage, which i just uh referenced uh, a little while ago with discrimination. see,
10:01 pm
it's taking place between china and the philippines. and what you're going to see here is what appears to be the chinese, cuz what that look like to me, i don't know. it looks like the chinese coast guard rams. part of the philippine coast guard cutter is this happening is the 2 nations continue to battle over the rights to the infamous and very disputed area known as the south china sea go of the did you see that there? so you can kind of tell where that that's great takes place, right. john is coast guard says the philippine ship was illegally stranded at the
10:02 pm
sabina show. it's uh uh that it was deliberately rammed the chinese vessel. the philippine says no, it was the other way around. you guys rammed us either way. why is this happening? all right? in the south china sea, there are series of about a 100 small islands. right. so let's take a look at this map. here it is. it is about a 100 small islands in there. they said between china, the philippines, malaysia and vietnam. see, i'm right there surrounding it. why is it so important? well, let me tell you why it's important for the most important military and commercial shipping lanes in the world. it also contains some of the best fishing waters in the world. oh and did i mention it's extremely rich in minerals and gas deposits. that's why everybody wants it. now, china has been pretty smart about this. we tell you what china has done. they've been almost very malcolm bailey and about what they've done in this area. they have been creating new islands and expanding the ones that are already there. many of
10:03 pm
you that didn't grow up around water, maybe don't know this, but a show is like an island that's under water. was like a coral reef. all you gotta do is pour some some, and on top and while i'm now you have an island now you can say, oh, but that's one of my territory i created. that's how the chinese have been claiming a lot of this, this part of this i'm calling it chinese territory. let's talk about this. scotty. frances is that award winning in their national war, corresponded geo political expert. she's good enough to join us now. she's scrolling in from another chat. so i've got a, what do you make of this ongoing dispute? and this latest between the philippines and china as well. uh, from my reading about this, it looks like as malaysian is being pushed to clash with a big uh, nation called china. and just as you mentioned, drake, it's a trillion dollar worth of trade sausage. so this is not you to see the west and the american media and the western head, giovanni's eyes are all around this,
10:04 pm
out of the do, i mean it's not like the coming to say people are really or really like make everything here. yeah. and justice china be really a grill and that's about it. i think trying to keep the ship. the attorney wants to be humbled by a fight with a much weaker adverse theory. let's call it like that. but if you look at philip, these internal politics instead of beans and what the mid term election is going to look like it looks like very me for this small nation and things are getting tense and then more day after day. and they get a lot of pressure from the west. there's no question that the brits and the us and the french are, are constantly and they're telling them, don't worry. we have your back. be careful when you're told that the west has your back learn from the ukraine experience. it's so it's, it's, it's an interesting scenario. okay,
10:05 pm
so here's another one with $61.00 days left before the presidential election. the us attorney general is now coming out and warning americans about election interference. and once again, he is specifically mentioning russia, china and iran as potential culprits. and then he goes on to name some influencers, allegedly connected to r t, who were secretly or surreptitiously, allegedly paid to propagate information that could affect how people vote in the upcoming presidential elections. that's what it is. okay, here's america. charlotte is the attorney general of the united states who caught a visa. we've been a supreme court justice by the way, and probably would have been a good one here is explaining it. the american people are entitled to know when a foreign powers attempting to exploit our country's free exchange of ideas to send around its own propaganda. fair point. he's absolutely right. nobody should try to
10:06 pm
influence us politics or any countries politics or us policies with money. and you heard me say on this show over and over again, how important it is to be honest and to be transparent, which is what we do here is what i do every day. it's not my job to show for donald trump or cobble i, harris. my job is to call them as i see them. i'm like, uh, like a referee and empire. it just so happens that recently as i'm sure you've probably noticed, i've been calling out mr. trump more because of some of the picket was statements that he's made about crowds comparing himself to abraham lincoln and martin luther king and talking about how come about here is, looks you see the script. this is my script, you know, wrote this, i did, i write this, i get up if i have to at 5 in the morning to take care of this. nobody whites my material, nobody tells me what to say. that a rush or any country pays people surreptitiously. they go on the internet or on facebook or something and to say good things about one candidate or one policy.
10:07 pm
okay, fine, and they should probably be called out for it. but there's something else here that needs to be said. if mary garland is going to talk about for an interference, damn man, shouldn't they also be talking about that to put an elephant in the room? i'm sitting there right in front of them. i mean, it's right there. i mean, if he wants to talk about a country interfering in our elections in our foreign policy, really talk as well about a country that is literally buying or politicians with money. benjamins, i mean this is not about facebook post. this is worse, i think. what can this headline us lawmakers receive more than $58000000.00 from is rarely lobby as last election cycle. how do you think they've voted against the cease fire? in fact, the article goes on to say, i mean, it goes on to the article goes on to point out. interestingly enough, and this is,
10:08 pm
this is kind of fascinating. it says that during the 1st 6 weeks of its war on gaza, members of congress received on average $125000.00 from pro israel happy groups. i mean, just to be fair, i mean if you're going to talk about interference, should you talk about that to does in consistency matter here. i'm just asking my job. got to you want to weigh in on this? oh yes i do. i mean, rick, when you, when you talk about country is interviewing in other countries election is, i don't know any election that's happened in the middle east. that didn't involve an american diplomats directly choosing and telling people who to vote for. i mean, if this has been branded and made in the united states of america,
10:09 pm
meddling and other nations and turn and politics is an american brand. and it is very serious to, to see that coming from the united states and a way. and one more thing, speaking about the, the a fact and the money that the spread all over america. i mean, it's influencers the work for r t or influence or, or eat on and, and china and russia are, are altering the american politics. they're starting to really sound like the terry and regimes. the talk about conspiracies it's, it's very serene and funny for me. i mean we, we hear this here in the middle east. i mean, you know, we don't hear these kinds of conspiracies in the nation that says it's a little girl that is the strongest, then expense democracy. you know. so that's funny. as soon as i read the story i saw on your expression, you are like, are you kidding me? do they know what they've done in the arabic countries and part of the middle east, for example. and, and, and that's funny that,
10:10 pm
that's not the 1st thing that came to my mind, but you're saying that's probably what would come to the mind of the average middle eastern oh yeah, we have people, we have people who are branded and made in the american embassies for example, in dublin and we have ministers and, and congress people, you know, and, and parliamentary elections. everything is money to later then sometimes even funded and uh, and the american embassy $11.00. and they even like a percent was they talk died local politics like both for these not these because this is not the one from level not. i don't by the way i go ahead finish. so it's really funny to look at the americans not liking that. i mean, it's like if it's true, it's a little nice to see them face their own medicine 1st thing, but i really doubt that that's happening. it's interesting and it's that's why we have you want because that's a perspective most americans wouldn't think about by the way. i've got to follow up today to an announcement that we reported here yesterday, where remember the british foreign secretary came out and he said he's cutting off
10:11 pm
some of the arm shipments to israel. he did so because he said there's reason to believe that israel may be committing more crimes or at least than suspect that are being accused by the licensee and the, and the, and the united nations. but now here's the, here's a follow up. soon after that decision was announced, according to report, somebody in washington apparently picked up the phone and called the former prime minister. mr. richie sumac, who then went on the parliament and said this, the government has suspended. if the u. k is $350.00 on export licenses to is while it's a decision that the chief rabbi says, because police, i would encourage all shed enemies. this is a terrorist issue. we comply with international or we've been our ultimate because we comply with the international, appreciate the fuel, per se, but it's not i do love that about the british parliament the way they go after each
10:12 pm
other. that way i do like that, by the way. so here's what we're learning. the reporting is that somehow the potential cease fire deal would be affected by the u. k. withholding any of its arm shipments. therefore, the us is telling the brits they'll do that cuz we're on the brink of a cease fire and you guys might screw that up. um daddy, do you buy that argument? because it's the home and the blood. this is really a big and the casualties and the loss of human life is really tremendous icons. luxury cv frustrated when i listen to the issues so that they share the enemies. these weapons are our bomb being hospitals and schools and kids playing. are these your shared enemies? very frustrating. 2 or 3 here, that by what's on another note, do you know, coming from our previous discussion, rick, i suppose maybe someone call someone in washington. someone who pays that someone
10:13 pm
in washington. is there a water water affair? it's the, i don't know that might have bathroom for the $58000000.00 or $1000000000.00 that have been done. you know, i mean, it's worth a phone call sometime. do you think, by the way, one final thing on this, when you hear them say they're on the brink of a ceasefire, i don't know about you, but i've heard there's so many times now. i mean, the more they say it, the less i believe it right what, what ceasefire is really jeopardized by next weapons anyways. what kind of logic is that to start with? how does less weapons, how does this weapons make a ceasefire? jeopardize? i'm not through the it's it's, it's called new math. it's new math. yeah. so it's supposed to come back to about that, but to speak to the point that you have. uh, like a mentioned drake. no ceasefire is in any sports. it is foreseen because
10:14 pm
the impunity is there and benjamin that's on y'all has only one way to go. it's the worst stuff the iseries over throw benjamin nathaniel. we have seen that in the streets. so i think the only way for him is to keep going and maybe praying that the west would be all dropped into a world where the rhonda, i'm or the changes the sequence you know, but a ceasefire. if it wasn't the same number, we would have seen it the 1st time anthony blinking came to jews. and then i don't think the americans really can't do much with the, with benjamin the right or they're complicit. they're either complicit, which. 4 i'm not sure and you know, i still believe in my country and i think in the end we want the right thing. but i do agree with you that if nothing else, no matter what they say to bb and t and yahoo, he's gonna do whatever the hell he wants to do so that that's i think what is happening and he can because there's a lot of people in congress who are beholding to the money that he gives them for their campaigns. and that's just a fact. okay, i got a, it's
10:15 pm
a pleasure to talk to you what a great conversation i really enjoyed and thank you. let's see. hopefully we'll so we'll be together again having another conversation. absolutely. thanks. when we come back, we're going to keep our finger on the pulse of everything taking place in ukraine. a lot going on there. obviously, independent journalist and u. s. navy veterans, sarah bills, is going to join us to discuss the future of the conflict. where is this going? are they close to? maybe we'll talk about that. stay right there. the, in the early 1880 brands decided to subjugate madagascar. however, the mother got the king that refused to submit it $1883.00. during the 1st franco malagasy wars, the friend sent a punitive expedition to for submission on the island,

10:20 pm
. so welcome back. i'm rick sanchez and i'm joined now by sarah bill. she's the co founder of the massively popular platform, dd geo politics. good job with that. by the way, sarah, thanks so much for joining us. thank you. scary times right now for big platforms, i guess, i guess. well, yeah, you, you want to be, if you want to trust anybody should trust independent journalists as much as possible. sometimes it's not easy to be able to figure out who's actually independent and who isn't. but given what's going on in the media right now, the cnn's of the world, the fox news of the world, and all those other cable channels and more corporate channels. they, they, they, they should start to at least look over their shoulder a little bit would say, no nonsense cnn. there they are. that's the arm of the stay. they'll be fine forever. i'm the only time they ever really get disciplined is when they're reporters, kind of go a little rogue and maybe say something mean about israel and then they yell at them . they really get fired very by the way. then this is actually a,
10:21 pm
i'm glad we're going to go that know we got to talk a little bit about you create, but i've got them going to because you, you're, your show is one of those people trust because they know they're getting just the opposite of what they would get on a cnn, or to be fair, or fox, or any of the others, but, but do i work there? so, but i want to hear your perspective. do you think they do that? because they're told to do that or how then does it become in green in them? so they say all the right things that would represent the will of the state department and the other institutions. i think for self censorship and them sense when you are, you eventually become condition to the things i can and can't say those things. i mean, the ethic of it in a way is twitter terms of service. eventually i'm going to stop start, say the things that stop giving me in trouble. so i've, i've learned an interest in myself to speak that way. i do think that there are people that hold some of those opinions. i mean,
10:22 pm
they're still your true blue liberals in neo conservatives, but subscribe to those ideologies. but i think it's a little bit of both. for sure. i mean, you have to be sort of that type of personality for them to even want you to be a presenter on the, on their channel. so yeah, there's that, and these are people who work their whole lives a they thought the dream come true would be to work in cnn. they're not gonna. busy get in the way and then see, and then in the case of anchors pays them very well. i mean, if you're making, you know, anderson cooper, kind of money and you're making $20000000.00 a year. it's pretty hard to not say exactly what they want. you to say that's pretty damn good, don't it. and that's the other part of it. we live in, obviously the west, in a capitalistic society, it's hard to find people that aren't motivated by or that need money. um that's, that's the thing. and you know, people, it's funny because they made a joke when the sanctions came out and all the rumors about who's getting paid it, it was not nice, but you guys are getting paid off of those callers. but well,
10:23 pm
that's why we like you because you're not getting paid right. and i can take a look at those kind of things kind of shine through. so i, i, the people that didn't get sanctioned, that i'm not talking about the r t people. i'm talking about the rumor mill of people taking money and you know influencers. i still don't know what the fields or even is, but go on. so yeah, i don't really know people that get their politics from these people. it's more of a culture wars commentary. so i was, i'm really confused by the entire thing you mentioned something about is, are still paying for politicians. but it's funny because i read an article and it was very mad about the sanctions for russia. and then they said, well, why won't the democrats sanction a wrong because they're working interference, and i'm like, oh, so we have this time, that's the raw on. and russians that have china and russia, but nobody's talking about the norm is elephant. there is real quick me, i mean,
10:24 pm
you can't make this up. it's like sitting right there and there go like what elephant i don't see an elephant. it's like the literally on the politicians, they own them and they're, they get, ask, let's, okay, let's go to you. correct? so, uh, here's what seems to have happened this week. we're seeing now a trend where many very important members of the of ukrainian cabinet are quitting. it just saying enough is enough, including the guy who is responsible for going around the world, telling countries why they needed to support the ukraine. i mean, it doesn't look good when you're head cheerleader quest, who's left the chair right up. not to mention the situation that's going on with this incursion into russia doesn't, does not seem to be making any headway. not to mention the fact that the russian military is pushing past the done bass now and is about to take the main hub for the entire country. so you put all that together. it looks like something starting
10:25 pm
to break here, like they're getting to the point where it is. it's almost sarah i would say, and then i'll have to talk. it's getting hard for ukraine not to come to the table with some kind of terms. do you agree? um i do agree uh there is the once he's finally coming around, i think it's, he said today that it's okay for us. it is a participant and the piece talk. so we're making progress. he's gonna let russia attend their own piece talks right now. so i think that i really think that claim, as that's uh, that was the main most major resignation. i think he left because of his co. it's kind of clashing with your mac, and here's the deal for it and for, and for the benefit of the viewers. he is a foreign affairs person for free and that's demetrika level, right? mm hm. and so uh, your mac is much tighter with zalinski and i think right now we're kind of like
10:26 pm
hitler in the bunker a little bit. yeah. and only the people that are closest to him are going to be allowed to stay in that bunker and the rest are going to get tossed to the side eventually regardless. um so, so what was the breaking point then? what, what was it about the basic level that what was the amount about or what made a move or what made them do this? oh well it's, it's the corruption number one which i'm it, i, obviously he tolerates a good bit of it, but it gets over overwhelming. he's also makes him look like he's in poor standing when he does go to foreign dignitaries and diplomats and, and requests things. and ask for them. um, so it's, it's actually also designed to placate the public and create this illusion of change because the military says situation facing ukraine is incredibly them. yeah . um they get a little bit of a distraction as well. it's really the same people that are continuing to hold power to rotate your buckle labels, x it is a big deal. do you think he is affected or upset? perhaps over some of these moves like be cursed incursion for example to
10:27 pm
no, i don't think that is mount over the the, the political most. but yes, i think that a lot of the politicians are upset about quarter, not big. and i always think that it's more so because that these are going to, the gravy train is eventually going to stop running. and these, these sorts of stupidity a stupid tactical maneuvers for p r victories. are only making the end come quicker . i think not, they don't want to miss out on their, their pocket. and what you mean is those 102030000 troops. who knows how many that have gone into the disk, all blast are like, essentially stranded. they're now, i mean, they are and, and are you surprised that about the, the, the russian military hasn't gone in there and, and i later them and just said, okay, you want to stay in that little area. go ahead, we've got other things to do. we'll come back and take care, you know, or it seems to be like what they're saying, right? they are an isolating them in that area. there is no mercy in that course area.
10:28 pm
there's a lot of surrenders. there's women in there that they allegedly found. but the order came through that they are not to treat for an mercenaries a by the rules of war by the laws of war. and uh, that you know, like basically these people are invaders at this point. yeah. they are mopping up pretty well. but at the same time, they are taking their fair share of p. o w's. so you feel bad for him, don't you? i mean, terribly terribly. i mean, and they're left in mass graves. they're left there with no burial. they're left there with nobody will come get them because the one sky won't pay out the dividends that are due to the widows. they'll just be labeled missing. oh man, you, yourselves, it's, it's very, it's terrible. uh, you know, we don't, we, we think of these things that are for p. r. weapons and people forget the human aspect of it. there's people dying on both sides. there civilians that are crow caught in the crossfire. there is a lot of things happening and course and the obviously the people that are suffering, the largest losses are the ukrainians. yeah. yeah,
10:29 pm
it looks that way and you're right. it is a human tragedy no matter how you look at it outside of the geo politics and everything else. so you're such a little light to talk to. thanks so much for sharing and good, good luck with what you guys are doing and don't take a check. it just kept a good weekend, correct. thank you everyone. that's our show. remember to always be looking outside your own box. thanks for you for being there. and always remember the truths don't live in boxes as we like to say. by golly, i'm rick sanchez. will be looking for you next to the the,
