as since then confirmed, for example, i was told dana that the american meet by the american media that it was baseless, that migrants were capturing the geese from the local park pon and eating them. and yet there are 911 calls from well before this ever became a viable sensation of people complaining about that exact thing happening. daddy vance has been making the talk show round playing the role of not only the ticket which wants to replace the current leadership. but the senator who state has been flooded with asylum seekers as a result of a federal immigration policy with no actual support from the federal government. but is this just a tiny glimpse of what is happening in communities all over the united states and about re just means made of the immigration issue, one that can no longer be ignored, sky now here's, and this is perspective the
2:31 am
i want to start today with a few confirmed facts. 57910. that is the total population in springfield, ohio, in 202415220000. well, that's the amount of haitians who are legally in springfield, ohio, under the temporary protection status, which is an immigration designation available to haitians and for nationals from 15 other countries that allows them to live and work in united states. well, for up to 18 months. now, the springfield community has seen arise and h, i v by at least 700 percent in the last 3 years alone. and according to f, b i, the increase in crime in the streets of springfield is a 142 percent. the majority are all attributed to incidents involving automobiles. now finally, it was just a few months ago to advance actually expressed concerns about the haitians being
2:32 am
sent to town like springfield, ohio and the effects they were having on the community with little to no attention by the media. in my conversations with folks in springfield, it's not just housing, they're trying to build 5000 new housing units, which is a very herculean task in a town of about 55000 people. but it's also hospital services. it's school services . it's. there's their whole host of ways in which this immigration problem i think, is having very real human consequences. now all of this will bring us to today or following viral social media, post of concerned citizens council meetings. speaking of the haitian immigrant, dangerous driving without insurance or their housing costs being driven up, as well as the eating of animals, including the birds in the park, as well as household dogs and cats. the haitian asylum seekers conversation has made it all the way to the presidential debate stage. for those people on television, sir, my dog was taken and used for food. so maybe he said that it may be, that's
2:33 am
a good thing to say for a city manager, i'm not taking this from the st. manager off was eaten by the people that went there. again, springfield city manager says there's no evidence of that place where the buyer, so what is really going on in springfield, ohio, and it is highly political conversation, going to be the issue, the tunnel and trump can use to unite his supporters and steal his victory november well, i want to start off our show today with a bring in our guess, scott said to they talk, show radio host and host of the scotts saying show. and steve arrow is, who is the host of heartland journal. thank you so much, scott and steve, for joining me today. scott, i want to start with you because this is your backyard. now concerned ohio, the entire state of ohio. but i'm gonna say it, you're back, you're telling me actually about springfield, ohio and tell our viewers windshield's a lovely, quaint little town as you might expect in the world. midwest. it's about 45 miles or so away from columbus and to the north of dayton. uh about an hour away from
2:34 am
cincinnati as well, a former manufacturing town and saw the eoc, the residence of the city, leave by about 20000 people over a 1015 year period. during the manufacturing decline in the midwest, and the number of patients that have migrated to, to the city of springfield have, have a re populated that down. and apparently it has been an economic boom for the city from what the city. the city's mayor is telling me, well, there is a good bring of the americans, you've actually talked with the neighbor, mayor rob brewer and governor de wine. and i assume you've actually been to springfield is everything that we're hearing in the media right now is that's what's happening on the ground. well, it depends on what story that you hear. the mayor is repeatedly told me the sheriff . city manager has repeatedly told me that your pets are safe from springfield. there may have been an isolated case. i'm certainly not going to say that, that no pets, no cap's no dogs, no geese, i've been eaten or i've disappeared. uh, that would be ridiculous for me to, to try to disprove that claim. however,
2:35 am
generally speaking, there is not widespread pet disappearances, pet abductions, and, and geese being harvested out of the parks in springfield, the pets are safe there, there again, and the isolated events that may have happened. and there of certainly been those reports. 911 calls we've seen testimony at, at city council meetings, but they're certainly not wide spread. and i think it's disparaging statement to make broadly about the asian population in springfield. and that, that's not to say and, and, and, and it's got to you. it's certainly true of both cases, death area or a large number of immigrants in the city. but that doesn't mean they're necessarily going after your pets either. okay, so take the pest aside. i've got to ask you, why do you think that springfield, ohio was picked and is it the only town within your state that he was having to deal with this issue? as of now, it's certainly the city in ohio that's got the largest asian population. but other cities are seeing an influx of immigrants as well, with uh, with a temporary protective status, finley ohio,
2:36 am
which is between toledo and. and why am i saying about 3 or 4000 haitians moving into the city? and they're actually encouraging more because of the number of job opportunities that are there. part of the reason why springfield was the destination for these immigrants. was because of the manufacturing jobs that were there at the gold vegetable plant at metal manufacturing, the fabrication plants and within the immigrate community. when there are jobs available, the, the word certainly spreads that. it may be you should move here and we can create our own little culture and society of a city. what's interesting and save, i'm gonna bring you in on this question because this is not just a springfield ohio, but it costs. and we're hearing that this is because of the job opportunities that these manufacturers brought in. but i thought we had record high unemployment in the united states right now, that there was nobody to work. so what is it our americans just not went through this jobs and why don't we force them to do them instead of bringing people from out of town? that is an excellent question and i, you know, i admire j. d for, for bringing back the beard and donald trump for winning the debate with the next
2:37 am
day news cycle, you know, the means in sound bites, which is almost become right about eating the pets as sing or the night, which is proving to be true even with media doing, it's best to make it a crazy conspiracy. 3 all week video and testimonials from real people living there . 911 calls show it to be true. a split screen was a bad idea because it showed kamala, unaware of it because of, uh, obviously her people didn't tell her. but the real public service is shining. the spotlight on springfield, ohio, and other towns where, where the simpsons are from, by the way, about an illegal immigration prices. you know, a high ohio, a red estate, trump must win. no, legit, no winter for president has ever won without ohio. it rings forth after california, texas, and florida for human trafficking case, it's much more important in dogs and cats and swans in my opinion. 25 percent of the counties in america haven't been reporting and skewing the statistics, so mostly called sanctuary, city police departments. so they,
2:38 am
their number 4 ranking was in 2022 before they started doing that, like the near 1000000 jobs, a revised out of the payroll number. so when ha, in ohio, 14.2 percent of women have been re, not in the legal immigration thing, it's a terrible problem. it's a crime scene. and that is higher than the national average after a huge influx of immigrants, even sweden, for example, sa rapes cases explode, especially amongst children. ok. so there are places that are, that citizens just do not go ever for their own safety, for their parents and our grandparents used to love to go there as children, parks, camp grounds, even some public schools. it's happening here now in century cities like austin, texas, san francisco, seattle, where it's devastating the asian community in little 5 gone, an aurora, colorado, where they are flown in and bossed by the, by the administration. their pre clearance app on my work is this homeland security department issued phones that also have venmo for free cash to spend. and that brings to the bigger conversation that we're having to have gotten you're having on
2:39 am
your airwaves right now. is this was something that kind of been pushed aside. i've been made how the political one side seems to push it more than the other, but the conversations never actually in, but you go, i want it and just from one segment just focused on ohio. right? yeah. because i find this interesting cuz you couldn't get any farther from the border then ohio itself. is this something? are you shock scott that we're here? and the politicians in the area say one thing, but the people say another. i certainly think the people, the residents are probably frustrated with it, especially in springfield, the number of, of immigrants that have come to that city that are creating problems. culturally there is a cultural divide in that city right now. we're seeing that with the number of translators that are required, we're seeing and then the number of, of, of people that are being ingested into the school system and the health care system in the strain defense caused on public resources of the city. it's interesting when you, when you talk about ohio being a red state,
2:40 am
why are so many immigrants moving to the state of ohio, which is a red state? it's because if you look at the major urban areas in ohio, we're talking about cleveland, cincinnati, columbus state, in toledo. those are all cities controlled by democrats, that of that will become welcoming cities that are become sanctuary, cities. and therefore, i've opened the doors to immigrants to come to these communities. does that mean that this is a part of a bigger steam to turn ohio boom, they're going to potentially use? because oddly enough, how the process works for this, they get, apply for asylum, then they can eventually apply for citizenship while they are still here. we're just actually a lot easier than most other immigration processes for those that are here trying to achieve their american citizenship. well i and certainly i don't wanna take us off on a tangent, but that's one of the reasons why is she one in ohio is, is become so hotly contested. it's the gerrymandering issue that's up for debate right now on the november ballot. and obviously if you want to tie the 2 issues together, you can certainly see how population sky using these large cities that also adjust
2:41 am
the the make up with the state legislature and the congressional districts. okay, so steve, is this what we're seeing also in other states as well as this why you feel like the potentially democrats are so pro open border or pro, bring in asylum from 15 countries that they feel like they're basically recruiting future voters. but yes, i do because ever since the motor voter bill was passed, these folks have to go to work. they have to drive the car, they get a driver's license, they're immediately registered to vote. not a lot of citizen citizenship questions on those applications, especially in california. but he basically made it illegal to ask somebody says in status to give them back. so yes, they're getting free voters, whether they vote republican or democrat, who knows, at least in the 1st cycle. i think they might be obligated. but you know, i, i'm still concerned about the child labor and the children because they walk them to the border, tangled a little legs over the fence and dropped them 15 feet to the ground for border patrol to pick them up when they processed these kids unaccompanied. miners,
2:42 am
they call them, they end up in a foster care system in ohio in california, everywhere with adults that nobody is looked into to see if they're gang members, sexual predators, domestic abusers, in the past. nothing. sometimes 5 to 10 at a time in one bedroom apartment with a stipend. obviously they're going to get paid for this. and of course, they end up working with friars at the back of a fast food restaurant or selling the little bodies on the street for their new family just to survive. so in 2021, there was a movie called cleveland kidnappings. the drew attention to the wave of the crime flanked ohio from 2020 from 2002 to 2004. aero castro kidnapped michelle night. amanda berry and gina, do they have suicide that she calls it and held them captive, basically, till 2013, 10 years. and then that was 10 years ago since then. illegal immigrants have flown in non stop from 0 to ohio, making up 25 percent of the population of some towns. it doesn't take 25 percent of a town of 50000 to to be bad criminals who just need one. and,
2:43 am
and so bad. some of the sewer systems have even can't handle it and put them, residents are complaining about the smell and the view ability to just have sanitation. so it's making it like a 3rd world country. so can, and the cats and dogs thing of course is cultural right. they're using it sometimes from booty rituals, because in haiti that is what they understand and they're not being acclimated when they get here. they're just dropped on the streets. of course they do what they know how to do religiously, and of course not starved to death. so that you, whatever they get their hands on for protein, which could be a cat, could be a dog, could be a swan, could be a duck. it's terrible it back home. they can't just go to the corner mcdonalds and get a 99. so happy meal here, they are being promised the american dream with no resources to actually achieve that. and that is something that i thought your thoughts real quick. let's go to, i want to caution steve and anyone else. so to be careful about the, the allegations on other booty rituals, and again,
2:44 am
to pad and get some directions. and those stories may be may wind up learning who they are true but, but so many of those stories have been started by, by neo nazi white supremacists groups who, who portrayed themselves to be citizens of springfield, ohio, justifying in front of the city council. and we've now since learned their identity again, that doesn't mean that it has not happened. but i, i wanna look at the stories objectively and, and investigate to a little bit further. because again, over whelming, we were told by the governor, lieutenant governor of the mayor, that the, this is just not happening in that city. okay, well steve scott, i want you to hold all of the well and when we come back, i do want to make your point because i think we can all agree because like politicians will ever admit that they're in the wrong. but i want to get your points to what we come back. because we're, we're also going to talk about how each campaign is using the recent spotlight on this small town and the haitian migrant crisis to its political advantage or to the political disadvantage of their opponents. after the break,
2:45 am
2:46 am
plus the see the silver, the somebody. how can it be that um the ship to the middle east from a country whose top officials constantly complain about shortages of munitions and military equipments. destroyed low paying the boy a bit of boss and low cream. and the new system with blow came along the nominal facility or some of those other slash we. i'm about to look at these. this is what is the easiest on bottom of a bubble sort of wellness that will kind of get this to have gone on. now, why are weapons from ukraine spreading over the world? to turn this country into a major arms hub, will continue to bolster ukraine's and forces by rushing them occasionally is that they need to defend their country. the everyone knows very well that we don't sell but known as pineapples or any kind of children's toys. we sell women. yes,
2:47 am
we're also known in the world as homes dealers that we must not be ashamed of that the . the welcome back to perspective. i'm a host, scotty. now he's a situation springfield, ohio might only have been in the headlines for a little over a week, but have put a spotlight on the immigration issue. now donald trump constantly tries to highlight this issue while the boarders are commer harris, but like everyone to forget. so want to bring back in our panels to discuss the political effects of this latest headlines. god says host of the scots say and show there in ohio, steve adver with host of the heartland journal. thank you so much for joining me on this before we left steve. you wanted to make a point back regarding the conversation that we're having. and yeah,
2:48 am
so my heartland, journalist and friend, jonathan show for his show show, went to aurora and feeling the renters kicked out by the trend dog and his way when gains got their stories. so it is true the government and media is once again spinning things. they are embarrassed of even the governor of ohio, the wine had to come out and said that the 30 bomb threats to schools were from out of the country and hoaxes. so trump was right to focus the attention to it in general, and hopefully the corruption of the mayor of, or city hall getting paid above average ranch to house these people from n g o. money will, will stop and maybe put some people in jail for profit cheering, while passing laws, making citizens less safe and more afraid for their children's lives. the schools are overwhelmed with not english speakers and actually adult age meals in kindergarten, you know, most on vetted. so putting kids in danger. so i, i just, i'm thankful that trump was able to, in his way, talking about getting the dogs and the cats and the pets to at least shine the light on a problem of a simulation and some bad elements around our kids. well it,
2:49 am
and let's point out that this is a republican governor de wine is republican, the mayor. well, i think several of us have tried to figure out what exactly political party is. he doesn't necessarily what's on the invalid pedia just because it's not a non parsed office. you would think he leans left just based on some of the statements that he's made. and when he's been celebrating the diversity that's on his counsel. but he has not been an outright democrat, and obviously no elected official likes to emit, especially if they've been in office for awhile that there are things going wrong in their community. that being said, when i went to look at the idea and i was start, go start with you on the steve. because democrats want to keep focusing on this animal and go because you're right. a lot of those, it's scott is pointed out, have been debunked, they've been show that they were did actually happen the main ones that kind of got circulated. first name and try, kirk push it out. but republicans are focusing on the actions of the haitians as well. as the effects on the community, do you think this is a part of a bigger strategy so that people look around their own communities,
2:50 am
as i've seen in my own message boards in tennessee and go, is this happening in my state as well? and to alert them to this issue, that would be the brilliance that would be the 4 dimensional chess if he's playing that because of course the cats and the dogs is the shiny object. it's the laser pointer, with the cat climbing up the wall. it's the means, it's the sound bites that have been played on twitter for the last 7 days. but the reality is, oh my goodness, these cities and municipalities and states, in some cases, especially the sanctuary, ones are being over whelmed with trying to service these people, whether they be asylum seekers, criminals released from prison or just somebody who's come to america for a better way of life for themselves and their family. you know, we're talking in california, a 150000 dollars for house medical care, preloaded gift cards to use at the grocery store and restaurants, paid for by taxpayers working 2 or 3 jobs just to feed their own families. and we learn, you know, to spend more as a country on national debt interest payments this year than military and everything
2:51 am
else except social security, medicare and outcomes, to most, who just said they're going to use social security to help these illegals. so again, america last american not being treated well, all the money going to ukraine, nothing for our roads and infrastructures. so if we want to invest more in our country and our, our citizens, our veterans, the rest of the things that america, as opposed to honor, is being constitution day. then how can we possibly continue to flooding these zones for these areas with illegals? who don't know the country don't know their criminal background, don't know the health codes don't know how to not, you know, jump in a national monument to, to bays in the, in a. and this happened in dc because they are can't possibly nobody's telling them how to do this. they're not processing that. they're just flooding small fees and they have to look at it too and say, wait a minute, a lot of the places where they're being shipped, happen to a voted for trump or republican in last election cycles. are they doing this on purpose, to change the demographics as destiny for future vote?
2:52 am
and i think the answer is yes, because in 2030 we have a sense, it's coming up and that sense is counts heads. it does not count citizens. and so if they don't change the law like my state, senator haggerty, my, my, my us senator haggard. he tried to do or every democrat voted though, and the republican body. yes. to make a citizen in question on that census, they are going to get congressmen and senators back and do you see that represent no real motors. they have to change that and this is part of the way and don't look at that. look at the cats and the dogs and whether it's true or not, and you're correct. that's why haggerty wants to do it. now. i listened to your interview, scott that you did with the mayor and even the mayor, regardless of what political party belongs to did down. he was frustrated that not only was a federal policy, but he has not had much federal government support for it. that's where he says the main problem is and yes, the governor has stepped in and put it in, i think to do 2 additional, 2 additional 1000000 dollars, 3000000 dollars to help support in language translators. but is that something that
2:53 am
is, if maybe the federal government had offered more support initially when they were putting the citizens in these communities to work in these manufacturing jobs that we wouldn't be even having this conversation right now? i, i think it certainly could of taking, taking some of the attention away. obviously when you've got people who don't know how to drive you were getting drivers licenses and causing accidents. when you've got a strain on the health care system of the education system that's going to attract some attention. but the, the point of, of sending 2 and a half 1000000 in state funds to the city of springfield, it still is still our taxpayer money. and if it had come from the federal government, that still money that could have been used to help american citizens rather than continuing the floods the country with, with immigrants, whether they're here legally or not. it's a, a question of a larger emigration policy, which i filled under the bug nearest administration. it's got a, i did see a story in the blade, a newspaper from toledo,
2:54 am
ohio. that seems to say that that springfield is generally republican control. the mayor apparently is a republican, which is something i didn't know at the time. well, like i said, it'd be a real interesting but is that a really good job? probably better than any politician of hiding what his cars are are. but, you know, i do something did arises that i was thing is you were talking if these patients are being brought into work in these manufacturing companies. one which manufacturing companies are we talking about, you know, unfortunately, find out so many times of people come here from other countries. they are very reserved and turning in things that are happening to them because they don't want to make, put the spotlight on them with the law. do we know about what is actually going on as to the stage? what do we know, what the working conditions are? do we know what they're getting paid and if they're getting paid and actual living wage, why are we hearing these stories of $101520.00 living in one house together? and are they also getting federal money on top of that? so where is all the money going? if they're making money, i am, you know, could there be potentially a setting up here if we don't know the manufacturing jobs and maybe you can shed
2:55 am
some light on what companies are hiring them. and, and are they getting paid at the very least a minimum wage? uh, well i can tell you that there is a metal manufacturing company in springfield. uh that was interviewed by i believe the columbus dispatch. that said 10 percent of his workforce now are haitian democrats. now that may seem a large number, but it's 30 employees. and in the interview in the article, he said he would love to have 30 more. i did some investigation. the adult vegetable plan is based in springfield. they're constantly hiring. i'm hearing that the been a large number of patient immigrants are working for the dollar company there and then their job postings on, on. indeed, and some of the other job sites. they're paying anywhere from $17.00 to $27.00 an hour. so it's a decent wait for a starting salary, but do you think they're actually getting paid? i mean, let me just point out if you're making 15 to 20, you know, if you're making that amount of money, then why are we having to live 1015 into our house, into a single house. and are they actually started the housing front in springfield?
2:56 am
there they just simply don't have houses, as you heard the answers. at the very beginning, the senator, they're trying to build 5000 houses in springfield that's with, with supply chain shortages with labor shortages. that's quite a test take on and with the, the interest rates, the way they are today, it's expensive to buy house for. it is point out if there's that much money that's being offered buddies, manufacturer has been replaced then. uh, american citizens are, are very and you are and if they don't take them up on those offer, so those types of jobs. thank you so much. i want to thank you both, steve and scott, for shedding some light onto this conversation. i am sure we will continue to have it all the way up until november. i just got to. thank you. okay, i find that paper critical. all of these liberal pundits i'm having to debate lately that they're crying over the treatment of immigrants where we have homeless veterans on our own streets and our elderly are barely able to survive on social security. do you know that there are over 80000 americans currently homeless on our
2:57 am
streets? 33000 of them being veterans of the united states armed services. the average social security check for americans over $65.00 is $1782.00 per month. it's only $20000.00 a year, and the amount of that is impossible for someone to live on with today's cost of living. all of this is adding to a $35.00 trillion dollar debt, which none in either party, but especially the democratic party seemed to acknowledge as they continue to act like a circus parker and give money to any group that might benefit them. well that's unless you're actually talking about the hard working tax, ping americans. therefore, pardon me, if i don't believe these cries for humanity, because it all seems very politically convenient. but i, that's just my perspective. i'm starting to use this in perspective. thanks for watching the the
