we have 5.2 percent unemployment rate in san francisco it doesn't include the long-term job seekers who have been out of work for two years. there are also job seekers who come through citywide looking for work and the challenge is some of them lack marketable skills. so the more skills they have - i urge you to continue our support of workforce programs so communities and neighborhood and san franciscans can thrive i

chinatown. we're happy to know that a lot of us are working with residents inside the building and they became leaders in the building we have tenant leaders. i hope if there's funding possible we can expand the part where we can build up more lisp and we could do a lot of things for safety in case of disasters. it's coming and we don't know where were the next earthquake will be but we could do a firm foundation thank you.

collaborative i work with the mission and tenderloin. i'll hear to support that you support the housing and all our neighborhoods we work with a lot of low income families. we're not going to be able to help all the families. that's all bye bye >> good morning. supervisors and my name is dr. harold. i'm the pastor of a church. i've been there 17 years. i'm here as executive director and i want to press our appreciation to supervisor avalos. for the past three years the community center hat struggled

with a minimum budget and a skeleton staff just two half time staff we provided a multitude of services. we have 70 folks coming at the end of the month. we submitted a grant and we thought it was approved but not for the amount we requested and we requested $68,000. we're going to request the $20,000 to be added to the grant that we could continue to provide the services. they're not small services we continue to grow in service and those are not just folks who moved into san francisco.
