first of all, i'd take offense your statement about the plight. i know north beach fairly well. i know this may be longer than you have been alive. the windows have traditionally been blocked. being out there in the evenings this week, over half of the restaurants and other businesses are full of garbage. if you are going after light, you have to be there with the window scraper and clean everything off.
