immigration judge. he was 14 years old when he was deported from the west. he had no idea that he was quite documented. immigrants are part of a fabric of our community in san francisco. we need to speak out when their rights are violated. we denounce his deportation and urge senators feinstein and boxer to put forward a private bill on his behalf. he came to the u.s. when he was 12th. for all intents and purposes, he grew up and is part of our society. he aspires to be a nurse. there are many who are the valedictorians, artists, doctors, in the future. we would like to have a moratorium around to supporting this kind of students. thank you so much for supporting this, colleagues. >> thank you, supervisor mar.

there was a time when this would have been considered an outrage, not just a violation of democracy but a violation of the social values of the community that allows us to survive. this is not an anomaly. this is all too typical of the library commission. you know very well the abuses that are unleashed when you allow private forces to raise private money with no accountability. you pretend you don't buy edu. the library has become a private income stream. privacy is what to the donors expect for their money. you are part of the rip-off. the at this commission will take up the violations for enforcement -- the ethics commission will take up the violations. anyone who cares about

rights commission have created an atmosphere that these the contras come to san francisco and they only pay truckdrivers $65 an hour. that is for tractor and trailer. the truckers would like to go on strike after a meeting last week because of the human rights commission. these are all african-american truckers by and large. i have had this trouble over the years. something needs to be done. somehow or another, the board of supervisors, the human rights commission, and the truckers need to get together. there is no trucker on $65 an hour. the city is demanding you pay the drivers $47 an hour.

what we need is some type of stabilization put down to the contractors. there is a certain wage that has gone to be paid. we are asking the something has to be done for the major contractors who bring truckers in and work for $65 or $75 an hour. we need some help. >> thank you very much. next speaker.

upon entry you face a penalty of perjury with an electronic signature, so there's no way we can pay $47 an hour for a driver and actually billed for $85. did we have had an ongoing problem out of san francisco general. i do not know if it is an underlying motive to put them out of business. it is not just the black truckers. it is straight across the board in san francisco. what i was told is that the hourly rate for the operator is what they adopted. they did not adopt the equipment hourly rates

recognize this group. the food guardian project is a group of hunters point community members to raise awareness, advocate on food issues. the project emerged in december 2009. give less than a year they worked with groups to develop food standards for sustainability a two rate food retailers. based on similar standards, these may be used by public agencies as well as criteria for qualifying for financial incentives and is an important step in pushing for healthy food availability in city stores. they
