discussion last week regarding the general order about using deadly force and i know that we have had some conversations whether that should be enclosed session but we really need to move with that. i know that we tentatively have that set for the eighth. i am asking that we prepared to move forward with that and move forward without as needed. this is something that we really need to address and i understand the issues out there. i've spoken to one other commissioner about this but i think that we need to move on this sooner than later. >> i am aware that is the date that we are looking at. i have a meeting tomorrow with diprivan representatives to go

open session are closed session. discussions like this should be in open session. my only concern is if it would have an effect on any pending cases and if there could be attorney-client privilege questions that might be raised as to effective pending cases. i would like to city attorney to perhaps look at that. otherwise, if there are any other concerns, we will look at this. >> fighting that it should be a general hybrid and should be in open session. this will be a delicate balance. this is one that we need to address. we don't want to have our officers at risk. we need to move sooner than later on this.
